my autobet just stop working . after refresh few times still Error 522 . so is the site down or just me .

It is down for everyone else indeed. Lobos had told me that It seems like there is a problem with cloudflare (something like cloudflare doing maintenance or so )since the code is working perfectly on his end. I am having the same issue as well , we will need to wait a moment until this is sorted out by cloudflare
6682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LTCgear.com, the best scrypt/scrypt n/X11 cloud mining service, Not paying!!! on: June 02, 2015, 08:21:10 AM
so basically 2 guys paid the fee and for both weekly payouts resumed. If only my account wasn't still pending and I could pay the fee...... lol

From reading the whole discussion in litecointalk, It seems like the weekly payout resume but the previously owed coins is not in the balance. Furthermore it seems like you can pay the "fee" gradually and the fee will keep on decreasing depending on whats left for your account.

Whats funny is that there is no TX ID of him paying the 16 BTC fee ( or I could have missed it ) seems bogus to me. With the 16 BTC fee, he (chris) could have resume his ponzi and only dissapear like 5 months later after he got no more funds to pay it again

P.S : anyone have a small account that have a small fee on it? Would like to try it and see if the weekly payout is indeed resuming

6683  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Rated # 1 by Bitcointalk Members ! on: June 01, 2015, 09:51:08 PM
Just a question, how to see if a bet is winning or loser after the event is over?

Well since this is a sportsbook , you can determine yourself if your bet is a winning or losing bet just from the event itself. Basically you would know yourself depends on what you are betting at though
Directbet usually takes approximately 1 minutes for settlement once the event is over which you can check from the bet status that there will be a notice that settlement is in progress

Once it is settled, then you can either see

Code:
settled won

Code:
settled lost

Depending on the outcome of the event
6684  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Generation Social Gambling Dice Experience on: June 01, 2015, 06:08:55 PM
Im on level 1. Im not gambling.

Thanks... is there a page where this is explained in detail? For example how many points are needed in order to get to the next level? It would be best if such a table shows the actual affiliate return percent too.

There is on the site, you will just need to click on the "level" option on the left of your screen. There will be a table that show how many points left till you will hit the next level , your affiliate commision and also maximum faucet claimable

Though its a bit strange. Normally affiliates earn more the more playing members they refer to the site. Maybe dadice might think about that possibility.

DaDice affiliate is a bit difference although you are not into gambling, you can actually earn more by leveling your account, basically you can claim the faucet and do a 98 % chance to win and bet at 1 satoshi. No harm done with it as it is allowed to do so and there is no risk to you though  Wink

Thanks, i found it. And i think i missed the point of the stats. Affiliates get 2% of the house edge of the wagered amount. That means its unrelated to any other stats than wagered. So you take the wagered amount, take 1% of it and then take 2% of that amount. Means 0,02% of the wagered amount. Thats the affiliate income at level 1.

Where did you got that ? I got a different one from Affiliate Program link

Quote
We give 30 % of our house edge away, when your referred player lose

This is quoted from the affiliate link on DaDice (30 % will be at maximum level of course ) Basically our referred players need to lose for us to get some earning

Example of a simple calculation :

So if our referred player lose 1 BTC then 1 % house edge is 0.01 BTC and with a level 1 account that has 2 % of the affiliate commision that would be 0.0002 BTC

Almost Mitchell , few more things to fix
...

@arallmuus, have you considered starting your own overview thread/list of sig campaigns?  It seems that Mitchell is pretty overworked by this recently and you seem to be as on top of this news as anyone.  Just an idea.

Nope, Basically we dont need more of this kind of thread . This is the most compiled list of all signature campaigns and this should be the only one thread that people will start looking for if they want to search for signature campaign, having more than one in bitcointalk will be quite pointless (unless it is translated to a local language ofcourse)

Was a post deleted?  I can't seem to find the post that Michell is complaining about.
It seems that it has been removed yes.

I wouldn't mind taking a break from this to be honest, haha.

Getting some help from mod could be a better option for this though  Cheesy as Hilariousandco has intention to do so , have fun with your break and sorry for troubling you, I just wanted this list to be nearing perfect though
6686  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin value more Volatile? on: June 01, 2015, 05:14:40 PM
Nope I dont think there are some people that control the flow of price

Wrong, there is and it is called "whale" Basically the volatility is cause by people(or a group of people) manipulating the flow of the price. That is the reason why you are seeing a sudden rise and sudden fall of the price despite that there are currently no news regarding BTC

P.S : news give some hype

simple. Volatility give a value to Bitcoin

Volatility is not good if you are thinking about adoption as people tend to stick with things that are not volatile (some people dislike things that could drop to worthless overnight I suppose ) but if you see this in term of trading than volatility is a bless for trader as it gives some value for it. Basically trader gain more from the volatility though
6687  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: June 01, 2015, 04:58:51 PM
say that he do that 12 hour per day. In one day he could get $12 and in one week he could get $84 and one month he could get $336. That is a good

That is not good. You could earn alot more just by finding a "real job" instead , work 8 hours a day and have some free time for the weekend and I believe the payment will still be a lot more better than collecting dust payment of $1/hour. Basically one cant do something over 12 hours nonstop though

How is $1/hour a good thing?

Exactly, considering that there are far more things that could gain you alot more than dust payment

It depends on where he lives and what his expenses are like

Unless you are living in zimbabwe , I believe collecting dust of $1/hour will not be enough for living. Not mentioning that someone must keep on doing it approximately 12hours/day .

Good for you arallmuus,  daily winnings is a sweet thing. Congrats you :-)

Congrats, arallmuus. Good win.BTC

Cheers.

congrats arallmuus to be first winner of this monthly Raffle

Thanks guys and goodluck for the next raffle  Wink

i found there is a bug into my account as my tickets are still exist there and didn't enter into that draw, these tickets are not picked automatically by draw system?

You need to check your account tab, have you set the raffle ticket percentage yet? If you set it to 0 % then all your tickets will still be there and will not be picked for the drawing system . You will need to set up X percentage and click on the save button before the next draw if you wish to enter your tickets though

i think its better to submit it in "number"  instead of in "percentage". So if a user have 120tickets and want to submit 100tickets, he only need to type 100 then click save/submit.
Just my opinion

This concern has been addressed by me before and here is Lobos explanation regarding why he is sticking with the percentage options instead of a fixed number options

Another thing for you to fix/add

#1 The "raffle ticket earned" bar is not updated automatically, players need to refresh to see the new number of tickets earned (should be automatically)

#2 The percentage of raffle ticket scroll bar is unnecessary. I have like 205 tickets and It will be weird number if I set it into 17 % percent of my tickets to be put in the monthly raffle. Should be having a number box which can be fill accordingly to our tickets number

#3 The achievements at the site is actually unnecessary either because it doesnt give any more advantage than a none achievement account. Would be great if there is a feature to lower the house edge or gain more from faucet by achieving the achievements

P.S : emoticon for chat would be nice touch

Hi, thanks for your suggestions/comment. Please see my answers below:

1) Correct, I'll fix that ASAP.

2) Well, we've debated this internally and it is my conclusion that the percentage bar is most appropriate. Let me explain the drawbacks of using a fixed number rather than a percentage:
a) Lets assume that 3 days before months end you have 50 raffle tickets. You then decide to edit your account preferences and say that want to enter 25 (50%) of your tickets into the monthly raffle.
b) Over the next few days you gamble like crazy (or just run the built-in bot for a few hours) and 3 days later you have 80 raffle tickets.
c) If you still want to enter 50% of your tickets into the monthly draw, you'd have to into "Your Account" again and adjust this number. If we assume that you're busy with your job, trading altcoins or walking your dog, you might well forget to do this, resulting in you submitting about 35% of your raffle tickets, which is probably not what you intended.
d) Lets assume that you do #c and during the next month, you don't gamble a lot and forget to update this setting. You would then submit either all or a much larger percentage of your raffle tickets, which again may not be what you want.
To summarize: With a percentage setting, you can set the percentage and forget about it; it will always adjust based on the number of available raffle tickets. I believe that this a better (and lower-maintenance) solution when compared to using absolute numbers since lets face it, you'll always submit a given number of raffle tickets based on the total number of raffle tickets available to you (this is essence is a percentage expressed as a fixed number); allowing you to set this preference percentage-based just means that it's a low (or even "no") maintenance operation and is generally a more flexible solution which nicely auto-adjusts without you having to worry about the details.

3) We are working on making those achievements give you a/some tangible benefit(s) on the site and are debating a number of ideas for this. More news on this in the future.

I hope this explains our reasoning behind choosing a percentage based setting.

Is this some kind of new game type though? I noticed that instead of NL type game this freeroll is Fixed type games. Honestly this new type is kinda boring as it makes the game slower than usual because player cant raise at his desire bet amount. Kinda fix it to be the normal game instead though

As for this one, It seems like something is wrong here, blinds is 15/30 but in the table the blinds is set up half of what it should be. This only happen for this time as I have never occured something like this from my entire experience playing here

6691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How about your casino deposit bonus experince? on: June 01, 2015, 01:59:33 PM
yeah thats is brilliant idea but not got banned because look like cheating for steal deposit bonus

Actually betting on both red and black to complete the wager requirement isnt consider as cheating as long as the site allow it. Most sites doesnt count the wager on rouletter for the wager requirements though but some sites put in a 10 % wager contribution.
It is actually not cheating because it is not a fool proof method because there is a chance that you might hit zero while doing it and not to mention that if you are playing at a double zero roulette, your chance to bust is higher than what you expected

When I see rollover 35 times 'bonus', I usually won't bother to try them as it would most likely be a waste of time without any returns.

Actually it is not, if you are lucky then you might have the chance to get it but frankly speaking the deposit bonus is actually a way to lure in gambler to lose more though as not many people are "lucky" or patient at least
6692  Economy / Gambling / Re: girlbtc.com™ || onevsone || elephant v.s. tiger v.s. mouse || check your luck on: June 01, 2015, 01:14:50 PM
Also the withdrawal fees at 0.001 BTC seems to be high for anyone looking to play at low stakes.

This concern has been address in the past. Basically they are doing this to discourage people from withdrawing the giveaway instantly as they tend to give a giveaway of 0.002 BTC or so. Admin himself has stated that they are not trying to make profit from the withdrawal fee and they will give back your withdrawal fee once it hit 0.01 BTC or 10 withdrawal

if you deposit yourself and withdraw more than 10 times ,we will return 0.01btc to your account.

of course we don't try to make money from withdraw fee. Smiley

6694  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 01, 2015, 11:01:27 AM
even I was thinking of the same question and I think investing will be more profitable than putting it in bank.

It depends on the risk and also the gain actually, Everything got its own risk to it. Even saving your money in the bank got its own risk but ofcourse investing your money into something will be far more riskier.
You might want to read a few post back about the idea of investing in either gold or other investment type, basically safe deposits could be an alternative between saving and investing though
6695  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Generation Social Gambling Dice Experience on: June 01, 2015, 10:52:41 AM
i dont think it will be a good idea as they dont want to provide their information and they get negative trust from reputable members on this forum

It will be up to his choice wether or no that he want to put up investment on his site. As far as I could tell, DaDice has address their own concern regarding this matter and there is no public investment feature for now, those who wanted to invest here should do their own dilligence and will be responsible for their own investment though
6696  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin trading strategy on: June 01, 2015, 09:40:54 AM
Right now with all this fork talk I wouldn't risk getting in. The price has gone from 240 territory to 230 lows. We'll see to what extent does all of this have a true impact on the price. I would say we are going to be on a low price until all of that gets settled and we can talk Bitcoin has something solid that may not get jeopardized by block size limit every X years (we cant be forking periodically).

Actually the price and the fork talk will have nothing to do with "trading". All trader need is a right time to execute a buy and sell and a margin where there got some profit from the buy and sell difference. Thus being said, Even if the price drop down by 50 %, as long as there are a margin , trader can execute their trading activity and gain profit from it although it will be slightly lower than usual though
6697  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 01, 2015, 09:32:08 AM
It doesn't matter, Japan is still a good example how land can become worthless in less than a jiffy, and which actually happens throughout the world now and then (even for less dramatic reasons). Still insist that land investments are less risky than gold?

Im not farmiliar with the other fukushima incident apart from the nuclear incident but if you are pointing it to that than of course it is a risk that you have to endure for putting in investment. Where you resident at is indeed matter, I stated my point on why do I think that land could be a better option than gold

P.S : I dont insist that land is less risky than gold, Im insisting that land could be a better option. That has different meaning

I guess when you were talking about investment risks you actually meant profitability, since by no means investments in land can be less risky than investments in gold. If so, you still need a lot of expertise and experience in the field which is incomparable with buying some gold from a reliable source and forgetting about it...

As I said before, investments in land and real estate are a hell

I dont, Im stating the risk as well (I think). I honestly have told you that I based this on my experience though  Wink. Nevertheless anyone can have their own opinion on this thing. It is nice to have this kind of debate, basically it helps to understand more . Do pardon me if I am wrong on this, but I do based this on my experience that I think it is less risky to put in land than gold  Cheesy

Okay, you say that you base your opinion on your experience (would it be more proper to call observation?), but think if it would have been the same if you lived some twenty-thirty years ago, and then fast forward same years from now into the future... Would you be that confident of your "experience"?

With gold I am

I have told you that I based this on my experience. Bolded it to make it clearer. I am confident with it

P.S : safe deposits could be a better options as well although I know you are sticking with your goverment's debt  Cheesy

-snip-
[/quote]

This actually meant for sarcasm, perhaps I should make it clearer  Wink

Best option is to buy bitcoin while its cheap hold it for a number of years and wait for prices to go back up.

No guarantee on this, BTC could be having a ten fold of the current price after the halving or that be worthless after some fork and You can actually check that the price is declining. The price is being manipulated by trader and hype, with the recent news of Gavin leaving us, Im sure it will be an impact to the price soon.

I would like to invest into the house edge but how do I do that? I can't find the link

Dadice has disabled the investment feature due to some circumstances that they dont want to provide the cold wallet address but they do still have somepreivate investor from the previous investment. If you wish to invest into the bankroll then perhaps you could ask them privately about this by contacting them
6699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How about your casino deposit bonus experince? on: June 01, 2015, 07:52:37 AM
i would like to see sites where they give you like 25% deposit bonus and give it to you right there.

Satoshibet give 25 % deposit bonus which is send to your email once you requested it . You could even withdraw your initial deposits if you feel like not using the bonus but it will void your 25 % bonus if you do so.

P.S : withdrawals there may take longer than unexpected since they switched to manual withdrawal though

I wanna know your gambling stories about deposit bonus.

I have never been lucky at anywhere else except satoshibet, completed their no deposit bonus few times , perhaps like 3 times in total and also their 25 % bonus one time. Also currently still struggling with betvippoker deposit bonus ( poker sites got easier requirement for the deposit bonus though )

P.S : Anyone checked out CoinRoyale Deposit bonus yet? BlackJack counts as 100 % towards the wager requirement though, it seems to be easy to complete it

Some extra findings :

Both Bralex and Mirjangka have got same kind of positive feedback from roslinpl

roslinpl 18: -0 / +2   2015-05-29   0.40000000   Reference   I won a contest for signature design organized by Mirjangka and my reward was sent to me with no delay and no escrow. Thanks.

roslinpl 18: -0 / +2   2015-04-05   0.20000000      I can truly recommend dealing with Bralex. I won BBCode contest and was rewarded with no delays and in friendly atmosphere. Thanks a lot!

Roslinpl made signature bb codes for Bralex before (bitcoinpokergg) and also won the contest for cloudthink.io. Both roslinpl positive feedback doesnt indicate that they are the same person as roslinpl always gives positive feedback if he win the contest
