Any way, the guy in 36th above me - ChiNgadOr - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1176794

He registered in September 2017 & has posted 12,047 times. That’s over 8,000 posts per annum. Fucking insane amount of posting that is, I’m surprised he hasn’t been banned for spamming.

He is an ICO guy, seems like he does this shit full time , most of the ICO guys have pretty high post count and low merit, honestly speaking they are the once that generating the majority of traffic, without them , it will be handful of people discussing serious bitcoin topics, and a few members fighting over the trust system, and those combined won't do 50 posts a day.
6682  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: My "mini" mining farm on: March 26, 2019, 09:11:37 PM
hello , but the swamp coolers make it very very humid , dont u think that it will shorten the server life ?
i want to build a farm and it is possible for me to use swamp coolers and it is not humid in my region but again Im afraid that moisture will harm my servers

moisture is bad for almost everything , but with swamp coolers you save on power , also you mentioned that it's not humid in your region, then swamp coolers should work great for you, but then you need to watch the level of humidity.

i am not an expert in this field, most of my past experience is trial and error, i hope someone who has more experience will provide you with a better answer, tho i doubt that the information you provided will be enough for a perfect advice.

No TA from you ? Smiley

to spot price on x day you need something more efficient, a crystal ball or something  Grin

but you asked for it, so here it comes

just sort of copy-pasting price movment from 2015, and assuming we have bottomed, price should be moving between these 2 green horizontal lines 3k to 4.5k from now till September where we would break up , get a golden cross and move up without ever looking back at these levels.

June 30 would be somehow the begging of the last "failing"test for break above, where the next test on sep should make it.

as far as the 3888$ goes, it is pure shot in the dark  Grin

but predictions from 3700$ to 4100$ seem very reasonable from a TA point of view IMO.
6685  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: March 26, 2019, 09:57:55 AM
You know 7nm is not new to bitmain right? They have been playing with those for months now, i do not think production will be much limited, its more or less the price of both gears and btc that could get in the way of them selling the gears.
6686  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What are the current best mining containers? on: March 26, 2019, 01:08:44 AM
mining containers are over priced IMO, have you tried looking into other options like building your own room in a warehouse or something like that?
6687  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Opinion on starting new farm on: March 26, 2019, 01:02:40 AM
at 0.03443 per Kwh  i think it's not a good idea to be going with S9s, a whole new Gen of miners is just about out, the new gears will surelly have a good impact on difficulty pretty soon, long before you ROI on those old gears, it would be too late to do just about anything.

your power rate is great, but it's not free ! so you are always at risk of being taken out but other players, my advice get current Gen miners, like T15/S15 , this will keep you longer in the game, just enough to ROI at least.
6688  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: March 26, 2019, 12:53:14 AM
Some Chinese miners have already started talking about S17 being released next month, these guys are usually pretty accurate at least with the release date, they also dropped S9 price with psu from 395$ to 271$ for April delivery.

I am almost certain that next month will be the release of these monsters.

The S17 is expected to do 42TH at 1500w
S17 pro is expected to do  48TH at 1550w

The numbers on S17 seem very reasonable, in fact even 44th at 1500w is doable, not sure about the pro,it's a bit too much IMO. but let's see how it goes, will keep you updated if i get any confirmed information.

Thanks for your advice. I took them into account.

no you did not, you made things worse, nobody will read that wall.

6691  Economy / Reputation / Re: PLUGIAT ON CREATING SIGNATURES on: March 25, 2019, 10:02:49 PM
he did not just copy the design, he also copied the code of this element.

quote the code that he copied from you, also prove that your code was made public before he designed his, you need to prove

1- you made the bbc code before he did.
2- he used the exact code as yours.

do not expect DT members to be willing to dig for that, you need to provide it on a golden plate here for everyone to see, i am not that good with bbc code but I can tell if it was a pure copy-paste work or just a similarity, after all , there are only so many ways that one can use to draw a certain popular design patterns, so i wouldn't have much hope if i was you.

it's been a while since i posted my trading set up, here is the current plan and view.

ok, seems like this is it for this small rally, fun while it lasted, fasten your seat belt.

Very strong Resistance ahead, not enough momentum to push to the upside,

RSI is approaching 42 on the weekly which was the most critical support level that now will act as resistance.

what is my plan ?

hold on to dear btc just in case it breaks out of this strong resistance , dump it once this trend on the 4HR is broken to the down side, rebuy at 3.4k for 10-13% discount.

here is an update for the last set up

we did close below the trend line mentioned, and now heading low with almost no support all the way down to the trend line in green , which i have not drawn in the last post.

the support of this up trend line is somewhere around 3650$ , it's a strong support on the daily, and i will be monitoring the 4h chart when we approach that level,  the 3450-70$ however is a stronger support and that's where i would set my buy order without really having to monitor price actions, because that's where the 200 MA sits as well, so chances are we get a wick down to that level.

so i will be closing my short positions as we approach 3700$ and slowly opening longs as we approach 3650.

i will also be paying a close attention to the 200 weekly SMA, it's now the strongest defense line for the bulls, should it be broken i will be entering heavy short positions as i do expect the fall will be a big one if that would happen.

as far as i am concern this is a rectangle shape you refer to as 'Element "BUTTON"' , he could very likely have "copied" your idea, but after all this is just a common design element that you can't patent.
6697  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: power consumption on: March 25, 2019, 08:27:10 PM
Why do you ignore the earthing wire? Can't you use an euro with ground? Although the countries within Europe each seem to have their own little variant, most do seem to have an earthing variant of the Europlug...

you can pretty much euro with ground, despite it has only 2 ends, the shield around it has the ground connected, but here we don't really have any ground wiring infrastructure, so the wire is pretty useless, i was thinking of digging a whole and placing a ground rod but the fact the i don't even have that at home and things have been working perfectly for decades, i can't seem to give it a lot of attention.

@Artemis3

Type F "Schuko" plug for the win.  Cool

exactly this.
6698  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: My "mini" mining farms , set up + wiring on: March 25, 2019, 07:23:20 PM
I would have something like for a client " paid job" , i do some dope network wiring when i am going to get paid  Roll Eyes.. but when i do something for myself i always focus on getting it to work and don't really give much weight to how it looks.
6699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How many of you are GPU only miners? on: March 25, 2019, 01:23:51 PM
I have both, but mostly ASICs, it all depends on your power cost and gear cost after all, the fact that you can resell GPUs after you are done with them is not important enough to me, i see no point selling a gpu that i paid 400$ for 50$.

Everytime i buy a mining gear the first thing i think about is roi time, mining is a risky business , you don't want to be waiting for a year or 10 months to get to break even point, you always need to assume that if you don't manage to roi , selling your gear won't make that up when you do it half way ( some rare scenarios may be differrnt) but most of the time if you don't ROI in a few months you are screwed.
