6682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 05, 2020, 11:54:23 PM
Looking to the possible result of this election, I'm the one that's nervous for him. Watching people to gamble with such amounts sure is an entertaining thing. I can't do such but if they can do it, for sure, they are aware of what they do. $1m, $5m and maybe with another event, we see rich people betting more than that. Just a few more counts if not, we'll see it up to the courts for the recount. We can understand a gambler's feeling and this could also be the bet of his life.

and based from the article, he wen all-in. so i dont know what exactly they mean about that. "all-in" of his funds or what? because if he bet all his savings, dont think he will be sleeping in the next few days. but wishing that he will win in some miraculously circumstances.

if he will lose his entire life savings. guess, what his biggest lesson in life here!

To be fair, at some point it really sounds like an innovative method to promote the product, coin in this case. But, I don't think that you'll really achieve any success that way. First of all it has no design, no promotions, none thing that online casinos carry, not a place of entertainment and excitement, right? You may also know that people love automated profit, so I think a lot of people will just run bots or scripts in browser to automate the process of winning.
At first, think about UI/UX, it's very necessary and there is a reason people spend so much money around it. Great UI means a lot!

another way of selling their tokens via their own games. however, i dont know if this will be a hit.

now, if you will withdraw your phrees tokens after you play, how are you going to withdraw this, in token or in btc/eth, same conversion rate from when you bought it? the reason why you will have internal exchange?
because it doesnt make sense if you withdraw in phrees token. what are you going to do with your tokens? need to launch your exchange as you already launch your gaming platform. without that, i dont think players will be enticed to buy your tokens.
6684  Economy / Economics / Re: Is COVID-19 an excuse for governments & central banks to print money? on: November 05, 2020, 09:26:40 PM
~
Overall, this is just another conspira-shit theory coming from one user.

You are questioning about the lockdowns in every country. They have no other choice but to impose lockdowns to prevent further spread of the virus. We already saw that the transmission rate of the virus lowered down in the countries that has lockdowns. Economy?? They have no other choice. Its very hard for the government to balance the spread of virus and the economy that is why they imposed lockdowns but not for long so that the economy can still recover.

Governments & Central Banks can still print their money whenever they want too. With or without the pandemic they can still do it like they did in other countries. Its just that as of this moment, people really need money right now that is why they are loaning in the banks. No conspira-shit or anything.

people love to talk conspiracy theories that most of them are just created from their minds. they want to picture a scenario where a lot of people will get the interest of creating more false scenarios.
govts will do the necessary thing according to what they see fit for their constituents to survive. i dont think they will go against their laws and regulations when it comes to printing the money. this pandemic may be a special case but i dont think they will come to the point of abusing their authority to do their job.
6685  Economy / Gambling / Re: Find out about the Best Bitcoin Casinos or any other Casinos ;) on: November 05, 2020, 08:26:43 PM
Review sites have usually helped me choose good casinos. I've hardly found one that I was dissatisfied with. The key is to check if it's licensed.
You are probably better off with https://www.btcgosu.com than the website posted in the OP.

Like other members, I'm not familiar with bitcoin casinos in the list other than Bitstarz and Betchain. @ALFAZIX, if your purpose is to drive us to these casinos (other than your aff/ref), you'll most likely fail as there are plenty of reputable casinos in here with different bonuses and promotions. What I'm saying is people are content/satisfied and they don't need new/unknown casinos.

their top 3 most notable btc casinos are oshi casino, bitstarz and 7bitcasino, which by the way is not on the list of this forum's best. since the OP is newbie here, he will learn later on that his list is not in any way attractive to forum gamblers. because they already know which ones to go to.
if he wants to get interest from the community here, need to include other reputable sites in the forum but still he will receive a lot of criticisms here as he included 1xbet in his list, which is frowned upon here for several scam accusations. better remove it from his site if he cares for these new gamblers
6686  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ethereyum mining robot system looking for social media promoters on: November 04, 2020, 11:31:59 PM
somehow people are interested of projects they see they can earn good income.
anyways we are looking for social marketing people who get investors !

You ignored the question.

And how do you plan to pay 12% daily interest?

from the profit we make it

How exactly you will make a profit? Do you count investors money as a profit? Do you have a whitepaper?
12% daily profit you can make only if you resell guns or drugs.

i think its not best way to share here to website as its ready but early stage might make the rep bad so its not very best idea to share it here.

why would you get a bad reputation if it was a legitimate project?

he cant even say where the profit is coming from? what business does he have to earn high returns daily?

for sure, he will bank on users that will blindly send eth to him.. just a typical ponzi scheme type thing.

btw, here's the scam accusations thread for this -
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5285935.0

A newbie that was doing faucets less than two weeks ago and how has a great and innovative project.
Let's ignore the fact that he spelled ethereyum and etheruem I really wonder what this is:
Quote
etheruem mining its smart wallet integration system

But since he mentioned the % I'm thinking it's going to be another useless cash grab ICO., probably all the upfronts funds are 2-3 days of freebitcoin rolls.

lol
didnt even bother if he is saying the right name of the currency.

im certain, another money grab project that was formulated out of nowhere.

6687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Negative House Edge Crypto Casino on: November 04, 2020, 10:15:41 PM
Even if there’s a negative house edge the gambler must still be cautious because for me its too impossible to have this one where the business of casinos is to make money and not to giveaway that easily. I’ll let someone to try this one first before I do more research about it and since they are still on a pre-sale, there’s still time to do our research so don’t rush because of hype.

they are not really giving away their tokens easily. what i understand here is that they are selling their tokens via this gaming platform, that's why they are having negative he for now. so they are favouring the players for the moment because they need to sell their tokens via their games.
but once their tokens are sold, they will have the regular he for a casino.
though we rarely see a casino succeed using their own coins or tokens, but lets see how far this project will achieve here...
6688  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANN] ✅ Hash-Lottery.com - unique 2 cells lottery. Free plays! on: November 04, 2020, 09:11:03 PM
I don't sure what the exact reason behind this but I have the same issue with two members earlier which is the site can't be accessed using chrome browser, however everything it's fine when I tried with tor browser.

Quote
Deposits and withdrawals only in ETH!
Since your site only accept ETH then kindly move your ANN to Service Announcements (Altcoins) board, the current board (gambling) is devoted for gambling site/casino that accepts BTC.

same here. getting the error site cant be reached also. so seems the problem is from the site itself. but wondering why some users got the access?

and yes, need to move this to the right board.

This name is funny. Find it curiously chosen. you understand that the name hash in some countries has a not too positive name? that is associated with (soft)drugs.
You probably haven't thought of that, but that could be a bummer for people because they might think it's illegal.
I hope for you that people do not think negatively, but it is something to think about and maybe change domain eg?

maybe he knows what hash means and that is intentional, who knows?
his site, his choice. but im betting this will not last long.

and getting the whois of this site. recently purchased obviously

the mission is great, financial freedom! but what worries me for platforms issuing credit cards is the longevity of their project itself. sure, the development will be active at the beginning but most of the time after few months, you can feel that the team will slow down and start not answering questions.
to ensure that you have long-term goals here, you need to get merchants on board where they will be accepting your coin. or is your card readily acceptable by any merchant?

btw, secure your website at least.
6690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of the top 10 btc wallets hacked? on: November 03, 2020, 11:52:46 PM
thats interesting! this is the reason why we dont need to store our coins in third party wallets. if they are already moving the funds, owners should have noticed it by now. and definitely these hackers will be using mixers before the news explodes

at any moment, we will learn what btc wallet you are talking about here...

6691  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamblineers.com | the Bitcoin Casino Guide on: November 03, 2020, 10:46:50 PM
Hi guys,

just posted a new unique complete guide to Bitcoin casinos.

-

11 categories with 11 Bitcoin casino lists tailored to what players are looking for most.
When I clicked the "All casinos", I thought that you have a lot of other casinos in line that you have tested and reviewed. But I have the same concern as stomachgrowls that it's a very few number of casinos that you have for the "best".

Actually, you can have one casino as the best but seeing that you have four, you shouldn't missed other good casinos.

should start looking around this gambling board and he will not run out of good casinos on his top list. only stake and FJ are familiar in the forum but the other two, i dont know if they even have their own thread in the forum.
should update the list if possible because i dont think he's already getting the best casinos here. and for those newbies that will stumble his site, they will not be informed of other better sites.
6692  Economy / Speculation / Re: Altcoin still feasible? Profit or loss? on: November 03, 2020, 09:56:45 PM
From couple of weeks we have seen a good percentage of growth when it comes to bitcoin but still it has not made any huge impact over altcoin prices which was not the case earlier, some of us including myself started thinking altcoins have lost its charm and eventually end up as shitcoins except top altcoins. Guess what, I was wrong just like whole bunch of people who assumed it because if we go back and look at last 20 month's performance of altcoins and bitcoin both have performed really well but we are just short sighted who once looks for few week's data and concludes our research.

I feel altcoins are just waiting to break out and reach the peak in short span of time, what's your view? Kindly share your opinions.
For people who had been here on this market then will really see this scenario as an ordinary one.It isnt always for altcoins to be on increase when bitcoins price tends to cling up.
Most of the time top altcoins do really come along with it and below those will not be having any significant movement or just simply being in reds which to presume that people are
switching up their ports from low cap coins into either top altcoins or on bitcoin itselt so its not really surprising for this thing to happen. Altcoin still feasible? Even if i do say no, there
would be still people whom do consider this kind of option. It isnt dead yet since there are still projects which can really be potentially pumped and you make tons of profits
with it but finding the best one will already be the hardest task to be done.

some alts still do have potential especially those are dedicating their platform to specific use case. but most of them are just like fly-by-night alts. they come and go without really influencing the crypto market.
but for alts backed by real companies, they have the chance to thrive as they are trying to deploy it within their operations. if they are successful, they can sustain the existence of their currency, but if not, just another forgotten one in crypto history.
lets take for example monero, they are known to take care the privacy aspect. so they can survive for long because they have solid community supporting their platform. but we dont how much they will increase in the next coming years. we just know that they will not disappear anytime soon. maybe holders can profit in the near future but no one can tell how much?

the regatta contest definitely adds spice to the players here! but do you have other activities eyeing to attract more players as the competition here is really going tight?
ive seen a lot of similar platforms with much aggressive rewards and promos. but one edge no doubt is that you pretty much establish yourself here.

also, am encountering error  upon going to the deposit page. is it my net connection? even if i reload the page, still the same

6694  Economy / Economics / Re: [2020-11-01] The ECB has created a survey on the digital Euro on: November 02, 2020, 11:04:01 PM
issuance of bank note will still be their main payment but with the use of CBDC, they will see the benefits of using it within their system. how efficient, how transparent and how the transaction fees will be economical in this manner. in time, they will slowly move to CBDCs once they experienced the effectiveness of using this new system.
and if they showed success, other Banks will follow. for now, let's be happy about this progress. they will now understand the true benefits of blockchain technology to financial industry!
6695  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam defi projects OPM, PDAI, DFIX, EGGY, BEERS, KIWI, PANCAKE, CHEESE on: November 02, 2020, 09:54:02 PM
@OP, if possible can you add also how much money they collected from users on these projects.
thats a long list actually. if you have some of their websites, what about the others? already down? just like the cheesemaker website, only gullible user will send money to that project.

you can also elaborate about their exchange, where you lost your investments. the site related to it and what it is now?

and if possible, if you can follow the scam accusations format, that would be great for readers here.

6696  Economy / Economics / Re: Need of the hour : Use the Crisis on: November 02, 2020, 08:57:32 PM
There is opportunity for various businesses indeed, but one needs to have the time and resources to start one. By resources I refer to both financial and mental resources. For a business to have a higher chance to thrive in any kind of environment, its manager ideally has to be experienced. Risking money in times like this is quite scarry, especially for someone who lives paycheck to paycheck and who just lost his job.

You also need an accountant, register the company, fill tax reports and you have to comply with the regulations. Running a legal business is no piece of cake.

i understand about your doubt about opening a business. this is really not for all people out there. one can make a business for very small amount of funds and strategize how he can grow it. if you cant have a business, why not practice what you are capable of? web designers dont need license, online freelance jobs usually dont require one. just make use of your talents or skills.
if not, you can sell in online platforms. your items that need to be discard but still be useful to others.
or if you have your own garden, you can tend it so you can grow your own food, at least lessen from your expenses.
actually, there's a lot more. just think how you can earn extra income to augment your needs. it depends on your disposition in life.

^There is a new version coming up jobba and you can wait for that if you want to see better mobile version as well. We actually talked about it with skillzthatkills here as well and he said almost half of the users comes from mobile so he knows the importance of the mobile users and he is doing all he can about improving the website on mobile with the new update as well. I do not want to talk about it like I am involved in any kind because I am just a gambler here and I talk with people here time to time and that's about it, I am neither a staff nor anyway related to mintdice.

I just like this place, for some reason or another this place doesn't feel like giants of gambling which I know sounds like I am downplaying here but no matter how big they got, they were just here chatting so it feels like playing poker with friends at home, hence why I am here.

they really have friendly approach to users. and they make sure to address each issue of their player. seems that they are keeping their mantra of "leave no stone unturned". but i guess, it is time also for them to add other alts like doge or xrp as a start.
with bitcoin fees getting higher, some gamblers will be hesitant to play using btc and look for other sites that accept other alts.
but i understand what you mean about feels like playing poker with friends at home. i believe thats one of their charm here.
6698  Other / Archival / Re: European institutional investors are interested in cryptocurrencies on: November 01, 2020, 11:56:08 PM
It is not just about European ones, it is all over the world, USA has a lot of them with over a billion dollars invested just in the recent 8 months so we can say that the whole world is looking at crypto differently in 2020.

What this pandemic managed to provide to the huge companies that crypto is above them, in the sense that anything could happen to a company but crypto doesn't belong to one country or one company or one person, it is decentralized and it will not be affected by anything major the way other things gets affected, sure it will be impacted a bit but not huge like other places.

This is why I would say they are going into bitcoin and crypto, from USA, from Europe, from Asia and everywhere else people are getting into crypto for a "store of value" perspective to keep their wealth.

indeed! this pandemic brought some positive impact to how it is perceived by big companies across the globe. they realised its importance and benefits during this kind of crisis. look at how PayPal changed their stance towards crypto, where they froze accounts few years back, those that were dealing with crypto.
they are now seeing the potential of crypto not only bitcoin in the payment system. though a lot of them have the main goal of using their accumulated crypto as reserved assets but we are seeing that companies are now trusting crypto more than ever. this will give positive perception among noncrypto users and that crypto is not only used for illegal or terrorist activities, where they are acquainted with
6699  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breached $14k today on: November 01, 2020, 11:00:50 PM
This is definitely good news for Bitcoin.  Giving my own opinion, the demand for Bitcoin will increase significantly in the next one or two years and its market value will continue to increase gradually.
This is expected to happen considering that many are doing their transactions now through online and some countries are already adopting blockchain technology. Bitcoin was able to hit the price of $14k but it didn’t stay on this level and failed to totally break the resistance, what’s good in the market right now is that, we are still trying to go up and the momentum is still here. I’m too close to my prediction before the year end at the price of $15K and I hope to see that price again.

for now, it didnt stay on the 14k level but sooner or later 14k will just be a history for bitcoin. with increasing adoption and more crypto users on board, the price will slowly climb up. we will not stay on this price range forever, either we go up or we go down. but the possibility of going up is favoured this time. the integration of PayPal and other merchants in their payment system will drive adoption.

there are even top companies publicly claiming that they have bitcoin as their reserve assets. and we dont know the actual numbers here just relying from their statements

6700  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown in Europe can their economy survive this?. on: November 01, 2020, 10:11:34 PM
What is the worst case scenarios that come in your mind when you read this news?.

Worse case scenario has already been stated in the article. What else a country with almost 50,000 tallied cases every single day could do to stop the spread?
Let's just accept the fact that it would really kill hundreds if not thousands of businesses specifically in the entertainment and events industry. That's one major way to mitigate the spread. Health is wealth.

Now, my verdict about covid as an attack to the economy has now become even stronger. I don't know about this conspiracy theory, but If this is true, then I can say this is an intelligent idea not spending a single bullet to kill citizens and the economy at the same time.

the move is to contain the continuous spread of the virus. yes, a lot of businesses will be affected but it is all the same around the world. they are not the only country suffering right now. i guess they still have better living than those in the 3rd world countries. they may have this lockdown again, but the govt is just thinking the impact of covid to its citizens. they dont want more people to die. so are you going to exchange the business with your life? i dont think so. we have only 1 life and that business, they can always get back on their feet but with life, if youre dead you have nothing to do anymore.
people can always recover no matter what crisis they will encounter, pandemic, intense tropical cyclones, bushfires crisis ect.
