6681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Effects of Market Conditions on: October 20, 2018, 08:15:59 PM
The current market uncertainty really worries me, BTC is very deep correction, it's like a spinning wheel and now all crypto or stocks are experiencing market sluggishness. Expert speculation was tested but the market is only predictable and not entirely true, and I still feel pessimistic for the end of this year, but hopefully it will improve again.

Is it really that big to be a worry?
We are not looking at the better picture and that is why we are having doubts.

Keep this in your mind. BTC came from 0 and then $300 a year ago. Where is it now?
We all got so used to the high prices of both bitcoin and altcoins and that is why we have this kind of perspective.
Maybe we should be looking at the history of crypto currency before telling such things.

Yeah we all need money, and bitcoin is money. You have it, you are secured.
6682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never say die to Bitcoin on: October 20, 2018, 07:46:21 PM
Quit Bitcoin and sell at your BTC at cheap today and regret later. The news coming from the governments are planned with the aim of creating FUD in potential investors because the governments are afraid of the power of decentralization. However, this power of decentralization cannot be stopped because it has already gained roots on the market as more and more people become familiar with the concepts and benefits of Bitcoin and the entire crypto.

It aint new.
They have done that most of the time but bitcoin is still standing.
That is the problem when people are the ones who are supporting it. They cannot just delete it that quickly.

One more problem is not all government have the same views. Some strong country have already accepted it and they do not want to be having problems with them.
What they can do is just ban it to their own country individually.
6683  Economy / Economics / Re: Alternative currency ( paper money ) on: October 20, 2018, 07:13:32 PM
If there was an alternative currency (paper money) unregulated by the Government would you use it?

Would you use it?
You didn't even specify if there is a value. It could just be a fake money.

The question have no sense here. Perhaps this will be deleted after this message.
Next time be as specific as possible and also share your thoughts about it.
Maybe we could answer it correctly if the question is also done in a way that we understood it.
6684  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I fail in trading on: October 20, 2018, 06:40:55 PM
I’m a newbie in trading. I want to improve my trading skills. I have heard some experienced trader said that I should learn and read more before start, and also get some experience. Trading requires a lot of patience and hard work, learn about the way to analyze the price chart, when they can be able to analyze price chart they will know the best time to buy and sell and know which one is the best coin to trade…
I tried one but I falied. There is something I don’t know? Please tell me more.

You are a newbie and what you should really be doing is looking at the history price chart.
Of course most traders will boast they starting profit when they are newbie but will never say the wrong choices they made.

Pick one or two tokens that you will be trading stay on that. What you really need first is focus. Do not be confused because there is a hype happening with another token. You will be a victim of "FOMO" (fear of missing out) if you did that.

Just stay in your field and try to make something out of it.
6685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam projects, what should we do! on: October 20, 2018, 06:09:49 PM
I dont know man but this kind of act is like they are being funded by a large syndicate.

It will keep on going. Before, it was hacks that have been going to much. They must have seen much money to rob when they create scams ICO. Yeah, it is worth millions of dollars than getting pennies from hacking one wallet address to another or just a phishing scam.

To stop it? Early knowledge before they even hit their ICO. There is pre ICO which mostly they will get just a little fund. Their greediness will get them caught when they want more out of it or thought it really clicked to the people. They will continue for the ICO afterwards. That time you should have known that they are already a scam project.
6686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help ... Bitwallet app asking for private key that I don't have! on: October 20, 2018, 04:20:15 PM
Just like they said, something really sound fishy here.

Look, before you could even create a wallet address (which you use to transfer from Coinbase to your Bitwallet or whatever is that) they will provide you a seed already or a private key.
That is first and mandatory of a bitcoin wallet.
Now if that is a local wallet then it must be just Gmail or a phone number. It may not be a private key but just a security number which they need.
If not. It will be another problem. Just do not lose your bitcoin wallet address. Somehow if the company is legitimate they will give it back or else they will stain their name.

Next time use the better one.
Do not just click pop up advertisements.
6687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 20, 2018, 03:46:37 PM
I do not want to overreact from just game one but Lakers really didn't look good at all, the team is all filled with players who are individually good and the thought process was to get the young guys get more experience thanks to playing with Lebron and getting even some playoffs experience like Celtics are doing right now but if they are really not playing well together, individually they are alright but as a team they are really not. Good thing about this game was josh hart once again, he showed that even during a loss on a regular season he deserves the SG spot.

A team with Lonzo-Hart-Ingram-Kuzma would mean the future is basically there for Lakers and all they need is some playing time however if they do not click together it wouldn't matter how great they are as players and it would be all for nothing, they need to increase the team chemistry really quickly which is the hardest thing any Lebron team ever had.

I disagree with the last part.
I am not a Lebron fan but he did good when it comes to receiving respect from his team mates.
Remember when he suddenly joined the Miami team. They are already in chemistry with Lebron there even if he just got there.
Specially Dwayne Wade.
It is still early to disect this Lakers team. They may be just shocked of what really happened with their team since veterans came in.
6688  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have a large number of Asian Bitcoin buyers, do you want to cooperate? on: October 19, 2018, 11:29:48 PM
So how will the trade be happening?
I send first then I wait for the money to come to me.
You know that bitcoin transactions will never be cancelled.

At least give some proofs or whatever collateral it may be just so we can say you are really a trusted member.

You said you have made a lot of deals here.
How about showing some printscreens about those deals?
Maybe if we can find one trusted user that you are in transaction with then we can have good terms.
6689  Economy / Economics / Re: Investor Sentiment on the Cryptocurrency market on: October 19, 2018, 08:42:50 PM
Hello ycollin,

I have been in crypto for a while by now. So I am in the flash back when you asked this questions.

First of all it was about the money. Yes it is. I am the same as every newbie here which thought of a higher compensation in just a little amount of time but as I get more knowledge about every crypto currency specially bitcoin, I learned it should not be the way it is.

USD is a currency and Bitcoin is also one. So what are we trying to get if both are currencies? Mostly we want a paper in our hands just so to say I have money. A physical thing.
Bitcoin changed the way I think. I don't need that physical thing just to say I am rich. Because I know I am and will be more once every nation adopts the crypto world.

Now about the market. As I said, it needs adoption. This dumps and pumps will just happen over and over since people are still thinking to have that "$". But in time, they will also ask themselves, Why?! BTC is also a currency. No need to exchange it.
6690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaigns on: October 19, 2018, 07:49:03 PM
Mostly they do it in 2 months to maximize the funds that they will gather just to hit their soft cap.
Perhaps, people are also getting weary waiting for so long and ends up getting nothing when the ICO company suddenly declares bankruptcy.

You might want to enter something that is unique, which could be inviting to people and mostly investors.
6691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet safety? on: October 19, 2018, 05:47:06 PM
Thanks to mocacinno for that great answer at the first page.
I guess that answers it all.

Just be aware if you are using the internet. If you have loads of bitcoin then supply it with the best security.
What could be the best security? Really simple. Not much of usage in websites. Just plain internet that will collect the bitcoin to be stored then you could take it off again.

Make another connection if you have a family that will also use the internet. Do not mix it.
6692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 19, 2018, 04:48:12 PM
Lebron will lost again this Saturday over the Rockets. Its wonderful to see him in losing streak! lol They will keep on losing and again he will ask for another team mates. That's how good he was. LOL

Hey! That is an obvious hatred already.  Grin

It is just the start of the season and we cannot determine everything just because of a losing streak.
Houston did lose to Pelicans. (Rondo out and they won against a strong team?)  Grin
Lakers losing against Portland. (Hey! Rondo is there!)  Grin

Welcome to the West Lebron James.
6693  Economy / Economics / Re: Curious. At what BTC price would you capitulate? on: October 18, 2018, 08:44:03 PM
I will not be a hypocrite here.
Yes I am a holder but would not go to the farthest before giving up.

Maybe at $1k of bitcoin price, I would be in real panic and concede my losses. There is not much to fight out there. History might be repeating itself at that price.
But if you really look at it. A lot of investors of Ethereum did not given up yet. that is like $1k loss already and yet they stay. So there may also be a chance that I will wait.
6694  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading exchange platform on: October 18, 2018, 08:03:34 PM
As an investor, what should I look for in selecting the most ideal exchange platform?

Hello lisabrandon.
Are you investing for HODL or you are just going to buy and sell it in a rush?
If you are just going to buy then look for the legitimate one but with a cheaper price.
If you look deeply, they have different price right now and you will be saving a lot by looking for the lowest.

Also you must look at country restriction. If you are buying there might be some walls in using bank accounts.  Wink
6695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum prices disappoint you again? on: October 18, 2018, 03:06:29 PM
Investments are divided. What do you think will happen?
Too many ICO starting companies.
Even if they are using the ERC20 program, it will not be enough. Why? They might be buying Ethereum to buy this new ICO coins but yet it is like a dump that is happening.
Buying new coins means selling their ETH for it.
6696  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is one of the saviors. on: October 17, 2018, 06:23:12 PM
Well, it is now the world of internet and advertisement is glued to it since almost every family now have an internet access to their home for easy access to different social medias and also information that will make them satisfy their minds.

Now, both of that can also be linked to bitcoin. Easy payment method for those who work overseas as an advertiser. Example would be one India Company advertising an item for a US Company. They wont need to pay a lot of fees at Western Union or MoneyGram. No need for too much information also and a lot of question from the bank if you use the bank wiring system.
Easy as buy bitcoin then send it to the India Company address. Pay the miners fee and Voila! you are already paid for all the work.

That is just one of the examples.
6697  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good day for arbitraging on: October 17, 2018, 03:11:35 PM
Browsing through blockfolio, the wide contrast in prices of bitcoin on different exchanges presents a huge opportunity arbitrage traders to make profits.

From Coinbase to bitfinex and Bittrex  bitcoin's value is spread widely. And it seems to all be down to the implosion of tether.

Isn't that going to cause a lot of transaction fees rather than making profits out of it?
And also the fact that you need an account for each one which have been there for a longer period is a must. For withdrawal purposes too.

That Tether is really something. It had helped whales to shit with us average holders of different coins. Now, they can move freely without even a little fear that their investment will go down.
It should be taken out. Or if that company wants to rob all the investors there then please do it already. Let us go back to the way crypto is before Tether even enter.
6698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China can destroy bitcoin on: October 17, 2018, 01:46:35 PM
Are you sure that they are all Chinese?

They might make a lot of damage when they do it but it will also affect them.
That is why they cannot just stop it so sudden.
Okay, let us say they may already made some money but is it already enough for ROI?
As I have heard it may take years to get back all that capital from mining industries.
Their last intention will be to pump bitcoin at a large price to get it back. That is if they are really holding it.
6699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The quality of the bounty has dropped very badly. on: October 17, 2018, 02:49:51 AM
Well the quality of posts also went down. Mostly those who joins bounties are full of quotes from their list of facebook and twitter updates.

I have tried to look at it and it seems like the managers do not even check it.
They still put stakes to those who join signature campaigns and yet posting no quality or not even a sentence. Just the same update over and over again. I was shocked it was counted.

Maybe if we put more effort doing bounties it could also helo them boost to get investors.
6700  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: October 16, 2018, 09:39:09 PM
How can we get people to use bitcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to get cash as a lot of people seem to do? When I say currency, I mean the literal definition of currency as something that is used as a medium of exchange.
Even online, there are only a few stores who are accepting it as payment.

It is to how much a local exchange could offer. I believe there is nothing global yet.
Services like water bills or electric bills payment could be a good way but as I said only local exchange could do such a thing.

All we can buy now are items and things that are in department stores. Person to person transactions can be done too. With large amounts of money that will be sent bitcoin is the answer to avoid being questioned. Western Union does that and would not make it happen.
Just think of it as a better WU.
