6701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance delisting trading pairs on: September 30, 2019, 03:50:20 PM
Just for the record, here is the official statement from Binance:

Quote
Fellow Binancians,

To improve liquidity and user trading experience among our wide range of available assets, Binance will remove and cease trading on the following trading pairs (as requested by most project teams) at 2019/09/30 8:00 AM (UTC):

ANKR/PAX, ANKR/TUSD, ANKR/USDC, BCPT/PAX, BCPT/TUSD, BCPT/USDC, BTT/BTC, DENT/BTC, DOGE/PAX, DOGE/USDC, ERD/PAX, ERD/USDC, FTM/PAX, FTM/TUSD, FUEL/ETH, GTO/PAX, GTO/TUSD, GTO/USDC, LUN/ETH, NCASH/BNB, NPXS/BTC, ONE/PAX, ONE/TUSD, PHB/PAX, PHB/USDC, TFUEL/PAX, TFUEL/TUSD, TFUEL/USDC, WAVES/PAX, WIN/BTC.
https://www.binance.com/en/support/articles/360034580431

But I was surprised to see BTT/BTC, I mean what happened? BTT was doing good and it really alarm me that such good coin as BTT are going to be delisted right after just listing them a couple of months ago. Does it mean that it is being used for pump and dump scheme?

I share the same argument this a bad precedent, BitTorrent is enjoying a very good volume now they are delisting for that useless reason, developers will now have second thought if Binance is the right exchange for them to launch their IEO since they are going to delist their coin even if they have a good volume and moving up.
6702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin price recovery on: September 30, 2019, 01:37:32 PM
The title says it all — altcoin price recovery is underway. Personally, i would be satisfied if prices go back to where they were a few days ago, but a rally that would take them higher wouldn't hurt, either.

What are your thoughts and expectations?

https://coinmarketcap.com/

What do you know that we don't know, you did not give us enough details on why and when will altcoins recover, I know that it's going to recover, no need to post that but when the price is dropping and you post that recovery is underway, then something is amiss here.
it's like saying it's going to rain in summer. My only expectation is the price will have a better chance to recover when we are nearing the halving and the good news keeps coming.
6703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Spence Jr vs Porter on: September 30, 2019, 09:33:59 AM
I saw on Youtube that they have an argument in their post-fight conference they are arguing on who between them pull the most people in the fight, these two are good friends outside the ring I hope they can patch everything, the match is over, although they are trying to build up a rematch, but that would come after the Pacquiao match.
6704  Economy / Services / Re: run own coinmarketcap for 10$ offer code added on: September 30, 2019, 06:45:08 AM
Hello,
Can I reserve one of the codes and I would also like to ask I would like to make a subdomain for my forum using your script, what kind of script am I going to launch for that script in my Cpanel or do you want access to my Cpanel so you can set it up yourself?
You can answer here or you send me a message

Hello Robelneo,
Yes you can call the forum on subdomain but you do not need to install it separately on the subdomain.
Installation will be done free and work on Cpanel perfectly .
After order send me detail of cpanel.

Thanks

H thanks for the answer I check the demo and it looks very good and I want something like that and maybe create a tweak when I finally have one, so I'm thinking to buy a domain for this script and I want a clone of the demo.
Can you give me at least 3 days to set up my domain of course you know proliferation will take 48 hours the least
right now I'm having a hard time getting a domain name almost all names related to coin or crypto are taken.

Can you please reserve one of the codes for me will get back to you within 24 hours

We're glad you're interested in the project
You have been booked a discount code. Wink

I've got the domain I have a hard time looking for a top-level domain in .com I settle for .today although the server is now connected to the domain I still have to wait for the domain full propagation so there will be no problem configuring it I will create an order within 24 hours and send you the Cpanel login to create the website with your script.
6705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If bnb overtakes eth on: September 30, 2019, 03:59:32 AM
I am trying to decipher what the future holds for eth, asides its smart contract purposes which of course bnb can offer, what else do you think will help keep eth relevant. Because I see some projects trying to migrate to binance chain, I see that it won't end well for eth as long as bnb keeps improving.

If Binance Coin is improving and making a lot of updates, so do the developers of Ethereum, I don't see Binance Coin overtaking Ethereum this year or next year, the gap is too wide they have to overtake other coins and take the number 3 positions.
Binance coin is a coin on the move like Tron they are in contention to be the next big thing, next year onwards are exciting years for this three coins.
6706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: :-> Bitcoin are helping to reduce global debt. :-> on: September 30, 2019, 02:54:15 AM
Ok, let's forget for one moment that Banks are also getting money from thin air, when Reserve Banks are printing money. Let's just concentrate on the millions of deposits that are deposited into Banks on a daily basis and that most of this money is borrowed to other people with interest.  Angry

This money is channelled to loans <Short-term and Long-term> and people pay interest on those loans, resulting in higher debt.

So, when people remove their money from Banks and they invest in Bitcoin, they actually reduce the amount of money that Banks can loan to other people, effectively reducing global debt.  Cool

This is why we always tell people not to buy bitcoins with credit cards or loans, because you are borrowing money from Banks to invest in Bitcoin and that increase debt levels again.  Angry

Hoarding Bitcoin also stimulate a saving habit and that helps to counter increasing debt levels.  Wink

Banks are not only relying on deposits, but they also have other business like mortgaged, services and shares to other top companies in the country where they operate, they will always have huge money to lend whoever needs it as long as they comply to their rules.
People will always be tempted to buy Bitcoin using their credit cards because it's probably one of the options left for them.
6707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: September 30, 2019, 01:29:52 AM
Why is everyone asking for Pacquiao's match whenever they beat somebody? Is it because of the paycheck, the fame they will get? I wish Pacquiao will retire and give the stage to younger boxers but it seems that he still wants to fight. Sadly! I hope he will not hang up the gloves beaten and lost. Our body can only take so much. He already gave a stunning boxing record. I think that's more than enough.

Every boxer wants a legendary in their list, and Pacquiao is one legendary that every boxer desires to have on their list of victory, although he is still good and can dominate younger and good boxer, I still want him to retire at his peak.
But he still going for unfinished business against Floyd Mayweather and these boxers are just stepping stone leading to that mega-fight, but the ball is still in Mayweather's hand.

6709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big prize for 1 participant in a signature campaign? on: September 29, 2019, 06:14:33 PM
for example: prize allocation for a campaign (signature) is around 2,000,000 tokens and if the project only has 1 participant in the campaign (signature) and when the project has been completed or not scammed, is it true that the participant will get the sum of all tokens (signatures)?
or maybe not at all,  for other reasons?

That would make that participant whale and they won't allow that since they have an option to change the rules so unfortunately, I doubt if they will honor that they might transfer it to other bounties with many participants, and my take is the project is not that good, bounty hunters are very quick to leave a project for another project that what they think has a better chance to get in the market.
6710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Curious Case of Bullrun on: September 29, 2019, 05:27:01 PM
I am curious and i need answers, the last bitcoin halving happened in 2016 and a year later bitcoin bullrun follows, in that year many believes that ICO HYPE was responsible for the bullrun and others belief it did a big a part so my question now is what do you guys think will drive the next bullrun season?
I believe we are going to have another all-time high, in my opinion, we are now entering in a bull run again and some of the factors that may contribute that is the Bitcoin halving, Facebook's entry and big companies adopting Cryptocurrency, we have to skip the ICO, because it is dead right now, although it really helps Bitcoin to reach its all-time high.
6711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: September 29, 2019, 05:03:02 PM
This is still too early but we're all hoping that it will push thru, it's good for the boxing community that only the best boxers in their division meet, I'm all out for Pacquiao, a boxer's performance is judged based  on his last fight and we can all see who has the edge based on their last fight. But like what I posted it's still a long way and many things can happen and we all know Pacquiao is loaded with so many works as a Senator.
6712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need regulation pretty bad on: September 29, 2019, 04:09:45 PM
no we don't need regulations at all and the worst part is that regulation is not going to solve anything in the way you think they are!

the same scams are going to continue to happen if not more if this market was heavily regulated and people were restricted about what they could create. that would just push people into off-the-market and in shady places for trading.

the solution to the problem you are concerned with is so easy! people simply have to stop giving away their money to any random person who asks for it in return for garbage.

The big question is how regulation will be implemented, who will implement and will the investors follow these regulators, and what's the guaranty that they are not going to be corrupt, remember the rating site are doing great in their early days until they accept paid listing and that's where everything starts.
They accept dubious projects in their premium listing or giving good ratings to projects that turned out to be scam.

6714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How many crypto exchanges are really required? on: September 29, 2019, 02:16:13 PM
Last year there were so many ICO with the exchange as their platform in the tradition of Kucoin and Binance but out of ten I've seen none of them gets the attention that the top exchanges are enjoying, sure some of them are funded but until now all they can update investors are they are testing their platform.
We need exchanges more of it for adoption but unless these new exchange can give something better than the top exchanges has been giving they will be left out in the competition.
6715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: David Marcus, Coinbase CEO show supports for Facebook Libra on: September 29, 2019, 12:38:29 PM
"bring an end to all traditional money " ?

This would be the hardest or almost impossible thing to target on thats why Libra face up lots of critics and soo much hate even its not being released yet.
Coinbase CEO might show some support but on my own view this is some paid advertisement instead. What you think?

I also do not believe that traditional money will be totally replaced, I'm on co-existing it's better this way and win-win situation and there's a lot of advantages if Cryptocurrency and fiat co-exist at an even level, on Libra they cannot stop its eventual launching, there are some sectors that are not yet showing full support and just want to wait and see what's going to happen but they will.

On Coinbase they have so many things to gain if they support Libra Coin so why not show support this early.
6716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be good for bitcoin if it will be regulated by the Goverment's on: September 29, 2019, 09:52:51 AM

let's take it piece by piece
Quote
there will be manipulations that will happen, where in you bought bitcoin in as higher price
There's always been manipulation and it was not stopped or will this ever stop even if there is regulation in place

Quote
i have a friend who put all he's retirement's money on bitcoin during the all-time high
believing the news that it will reach up to $50k only to find out and woke up that the market collapse

Blame your friend or whoever advice him to put his retirement funds to invest in Cryptocurrency, it's always been the old adage only invest what you can afford to lose if he follows this advice and he still invests he should not blame anyone even the market

Quote
some of my friends bought a miner then the next day they can't make any profit and the price of the miner
is so expensive,
Again not doing research and proper calculations, easiest way to lose your funds.

6717  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: September 29, 2019, 06:18:34 AM
I'm confused. If this thread is wearing banners for cryptotalk.org  then why is it a yobit campaign?
For sure, cryptotalk is owned by yobit.
And as you can see, most of the participants in this campaign should be registered somehow on yobit to get their rewards and also track their posts.

They are building this forum, I'm not against another forum about Cryptocurrency I'm fully supporting it, it's part of the adoption the more forum we have the better I just noticed their forum is not well organized and they are using a different theme, they should make it  easy to navigate by using a good template.
There is one more point, since cryptotalk also has a payment for messages (albeit a very small one), perhaps it will pull some of the low-grade traffic from bitcointalk into itself and, paradoxically, the spam here will eventually become less. We'll see.
That's a good point and a good news! Cheesy But could you tell us how much they are paying by post, please? Or at least provide a small link? In fact Theymos should have accepted their ad at the auction  IMO Grin
They are paying 1000 sats per post I'm ok with it, it's a small amount but it's better than doing faucets, I'm also supporting new forum in fact I have my own forum too that I'm going to relaunch, but invision is not a good theme for a forum I have experimented on that before, vbulletin and SMF is still the best option, since they have funds they should try vbulletin premium template
6718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Closings bountyhive? on: September 29, 2019, 04:59:40 AM
bountyhive is not closed but its hard to see a new project or bounty on bountyhive i think its bcos of the bad result of ico and most of project not need bounty manager and such they only need IEO nowdays so bounty site like bountyhive will be dead soon sadly

I second your observation I knew it will come to this, these bounty platforms were set up in the heydays of ICO but now that there are fewer and fewer ICO and IEO they have no usage now, I'm afraid that they will soon close shop unless new legit projects will come out and get their service.

I have an account on Bounty hunters and some bounty platforms and the projects are very scarce in fact I seldom login on my dashboards anymore.
6719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [news] Binance Launches Staking Platform with Support for 8 Cryptocurrencies on: September 29, 2019, 01:49:55 AM
This is a big leap and a win-win situation for both holders and Binance, three years ago when I was very active in accumulating a lot of Staking coins there was a site I can't remember the name,  where you deposit your coins for the site to stakes, most of the coins deposited there are Bitcoin derivatives.
I'm sure with Ethereum turning to stake algo many will find this platform interesting it will allow them to make a profit, and with Binance behind it it will gain approval.

Do we  have any updates on the status of this project? Was  its development still on-going even if its ITO was postponed? Any news from the team?

I don't want to bump this thread but there are many bounty hunters who participated in their bounty campaign that already forgotten this thread, I am one of them and hoping that they honor the bounty rewards in bountyhunters.io I have a huge amount, in my stats in bountyhunters.io. posting here is there announcement in their official telegram channel
Ieo is not yet launching but they are planning to do it in Binance
