6701  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price break 1459 USD, is it too late to invest in Bitcoin? on: May 04, 2017, 11:23:36 AM
BTC price break 1459 1535 USD, is it too late to invest in Bitcoin?
With bitcoin it is never too late Wink
But the investors must believe if the price of bitcoin will touch $2000 to get a decent profit from his investment through bitcoin. The japan adoption makes it come true for us.
Never too late, especially if you're in for the long haul. Bitcoin isn't going anywhere but up.
so if ETH is rejected again, will the price crash?
Please forget ETF, That's just waste a lot of your time. ETF dies, We don't need it. Japan adoption is better rather than ETF that bitcoin will take hundreds million dollars will flow to the bitcoin market capitalization.
not yet, the price of bitcoin is still low. We will reach the next stage is $2000. There was no word late to invest in bitcoin Smiley
as i said, if you believe bitcoin will worth $2000 or more in the future, and there is no doubt to invest in bitcoin.
6702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10000 PIVX STOLEN on: May 04, 2017, 03:39:20 AM
Hello, yesterday 10000 pivx were stolen from my encrypted wallet. My computer knowledge is good I have removed malware and viruses from hundreds of computers as I did it for a job for few years. Is it possible that I have been hacked is for someone to send me a key logger and then transfer my PIVX wallet.dat to their computer and then transfer funds out?
I think so, With your PIVX wallet.dat someone being able to open your wallet.
But in my opinion, if your desktop gets infected by the keylogger or another malware.

At the time of the transaction I was setting up the masternode and asked for help on slack. Maybe someone from pivx slack saw my post hacked me?
My thought if that's a correct assumption.

I will give a reward to anyone who can help with the discovery of my stolen coins

I'm sorry, but no one can help you in this case. Your amount successfully funded to the hacker's account.

Looks he was successful to infiltrate another desktop.
Regarding his transaction history.

6704  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Japanese exchanges increasing on: May 03, 2017, 02:53:29 PM
The Japanese Bitcoin exchange market and industry have matured significantly over the past few months, to the point in which the country’s largest financial institutions and corporations have started to launch digital currency exchanges and trading platforms.

In fact, one month after Japan started recognizing Bitcoin as a method of payment, more than ten new companies in the country are reportedly applying to become Bitcoin exchanges. Meanwhile, institutional investors are increasingly gaining interest in the digital currency.

How many Japanese Bitcoin exchanges do you think will launch this year?

I can't predict the exact number, But due to the mass adoption caused by the Japanese announcement if they officially add bitcoin to be his legal payment and it brings a lot of the impact of the bitcoin adoption. My thought, another bitflyer will come to the japanese exchange site business.
But the number can't be determined. Depend on how the demand on japan for bitcoin. A lot of demands and it will need more exchange site to encourage all of the demands.
6705  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: genisis mining = fraud? on: May 03, 2017, 02:22:07 PM
I recently made some contracts with genesis mining not before I did not viewed some reviews about the guys. Most people said nearly all mining clouds are fraud but this one. So I decided to invest something in Ehter as I'd like to have and save some for the future. I did a 2 year contract and wasted 500 EUR there but nothing happens. The dashboard is not even on the actual date regarding the "income" neither is anything happening or shown at all.
Are there any current customers of that cloud or am I pranked? I hope this is the correct sub forum.
Have you tried to contact the customer support about your problem?

Just try to make your in here.
http://Https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=602022.4640

Looks another customer is not getting your problem.

Just try to send a ticket for the customer about your problem. This time, genesis still looks legit site.

There is no problem on his thread, He has not pranked you or something like that, but you just get a technical error from his service.

I cannot believe people still sent this kind of money to GM. Guess the best way to learn is on your own mistakes....
Looks he wasn't googling about GM, and just try to investing his money without a knowledge about it, Do you mean GM already turned to the scam site?
6706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good idea to start a new Indian Altcoin? on: May 03, 2017, 03:17:26 AM
I'm new to the altcoin realm so please excuse me for being an idiot  Smiley
Don't worry.
I just wanted your opinion on whether it would be a good idea to start an ALTCOIN based on India. Our government is relaxing its policies on digital currencies so I was wondering whether I could start such a coin.
Thanks in advance!
At first, try to analyse about the crypto demand on your communities, Does it look good or not. If you have reached your answer and try to make a polling on your crypto community about your idea.
If there will massive support for your idea and you can try to take a next step such as thought about your idea and innovation.
But regarding from economic condition on Indian and I think it's possible to start an altcoin in there, as an alternative for bitcoin.

But id you don't have a knowledge about crypto and never try to make it.
6707  Other / Off-topic / Re: Google Authenticator Bitcoin Echange Backup? on: May 02, 2017, 10:51:29 PM
Is there a way to "backup" the safety feature like Google Authneticator?
2 simple step, just try to take a screenshot your barcode for the activation code. And try to back up your secret.
Websites are supposed to have a way for you to get back in if you lose your 2FA device. Currently, many BTC websites don't have a way to get back in.

You should check how you can get back into your account if you lose your 2FA device for each website you use.
Because the key is our account. The exchange site does not have a responsibility with it. Because Google 2fa based on 3rd parties. Exchange sites don't have any responsibility for it.

6708  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short Term or Long Term on: May 02, 2017, 11:48:45 AM
Both type of trading have their perks, with long term you may end up with bigger margin of profit, but you have to be very patient for that, and in short term, you see growing your investment every day even though by a small amount.
But how do you prefer to trade? Especially when trading alts. Do you go with good potential coins and long term investment so you can only cash in when you get to a desired level of profit?
Or do you prefer day trading and go with whichever coin suits on the day.
And what is according to you best practice?
I'd like to go with both, Actually, to long the altcoin need a lot of analyzation. I mean the project with a definite roadmap, Expert team, and big community can be determined as long altcoin, In this way, you can call them a long-term investment.
Too short altcoin is very risky, It can get dumped just in a second and you will get stuck on that price.
Too short altcoin will be worthed with a low amount.
6709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 02, 2017, 07:00:28 AM
I have been seeing Bitcoins' price rising with a stability in its growth, but due to the higher mining fee that is being levied on transactions these days, big businesses are now moving their funds towards alts and taking advantage with their least fees as well as shaping a completely new economy in the trends of altcoin markets. Do you think this may harm Bitcoin's dignity and open up a chance in real for alts to rise?
Of course there are chance that altcoins can beat bitcoin since there are many investors that are currently interested in digital currency which they are looking for such coins which has a potential to go against or compete with bitcoin such as etherum, ltc, and many more. Also, since transaction os bitcoin isn't that fast enough to gets confirmed, it is the opprtunity of an altcoins to focus more on what bitcoin doesn't have in order to go against with it.
I don’t think that the block of issues people mentioning here can beat bitcoin though it need to be solved. But bitcoin has always had an upper hand. If others are good then bitcoin is the gold. In my personal opinion bitcoin will always be the leader. Altcoins may come and go but bitcoin will stay with us for ever.

People do classify bitcoin as a currency and all other altcoins are as applications. We are here for finding a new currency system not just an applications.
Are you kidding me? The blocking issue is really disturbing the bitcoin communities. The blocking issue makes more bitcoin traders feeling convenience for using altcoin to be fast transanction through his chain (off-chain)

Bitcoin and altcoin still always be considered as cryptocurrency.
Lol what do you mean about application? Do you consider it as an application?  Shocked
6710  Economy / Economics / Re: Nobody Can Have Benefit From a Big Pump on: May 02, 2017, 06:28:47 AM
I don't think the exchanges would really have a reason to prevent you from selling your coins if you wanted to. The exchanges make their profits from fees on the trading so they are making money due to volume and the price doesn't really matter to them.
I still selling my coin in the exchange site with smoothly.
But for some exchange site, we are not able to sell our money due the technical problem or legitimacy such as btc-e and bitfinex.

But i think if it makes sense if we are not be able to sell our coin in some exchange which has problem.

I don't see there is an exchange site prevent his users to withdraw his money. And the exchange will be announcing their problem about the user's deposit or withdrawal.
6711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know of any "Popular Online Stores Accepting Bitcoin?" on: May 01, 2017, 10:13:15 PM
Hi their BCT users, Smiley

Today I would like to discussion about online Merchant/Popular stores that accept bitcoin for payment
I know of Amazon and Newegg already. Smiley If you have any experience of using bitcoin with an
popular online stores similar to what I mention above, Please share your post here with us thanks. Smiley

I know some of them such as TigerDirect, Shopify stores, Expedia, and Foodler.
The shopifiy store is similar with ebay site, a lot of their product are same and Tigerdirect is an electronic store based on US(in this time they already expand his service to the canadian).

There is more big site accepting bitcoin as payment.
6712  Economy / Speculation / Re: effect of Japan on bitcoin price speculation on: May 01, 2017, 08:04:19 AM
See the price status we can only expect the japan adoption will have a long term effect on bitcoin as the price increased by 50$ which is actually less than expected. Or maybe the price won't increase much as people had already bought bitcoin before japan made it legal.
Long-term speculation about the japan latest news is can be being true. I mean if the bitcoin gets mass adoption in there and especially if the local store and everywhere already accepted bitcoin as a currency and it can be long-term effect for bitcoin.

Remember if that's a long-term speculation and not a short term one. Don't expect if the price of bitcoin gets pumped a lot in this time.

It will growth regarding the Japanese's adoption.
6713  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN ATM MACHINES on: May 01, 2017, 07:09:58 AM
I think much better to have an atm machine for faster cashing out our bitcoin to real money.

Did you ever heard about the atm criminals on USA, It has destroyed by some people.
https://themerkle.com/various-bitcoin-atms-destroyed-in-us-localities/
It's not an effective idea, in my opinion, The bitcoin atm is so weak.
Also i think atm machine was much small charges than using an exchange and also you do not need to wait for confirmation anymore.
In fact, if the bitcoin atm will charge you more than what will you get from the exchange site.
I think you can try to search the old thread in here about that.
In my experience, if i have got over $5 charges just for withdraw my money use bitcoin atm. and it's too far to being worth for bitcoiners.
6714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen with Bitcoin if it never scales? on: April 30, 2017, 11:02:55 PM
What do you think that might happen with Bitcoin if no scalable solution becomes accepted?
And mass adoption just in a dream and more bitcoin traders will be looking for the fast transaction through off-chain.
Will it remain as a store of value, while other altcoins take the lead for everyday transactions? Or will another cryptocurrency take its place as the top in marketcap?
I think so, More people are interested using off-chain transaction to be his bitcoin scalability solution. With 15 minutes and you can deliver off-chain transaction just in some minutes rather than using bitcoin transaction, 15 minutes for a single confirmation.
I would like to know your thoughts about this, as the ongoing scaling debate will further limit Bitcoin from reaching new heights. As for me, I believe that the Bitcoin community would come up at a resolution somehow to put an end to this issue, and make the pioneer cryptocurrency great again. What do you think?  Smiley
Bitcoin must learn a lot from litecoin and how are they doing it.
But I will strongly disagree about UASF.

I dont think what can we do if segwit won't happen and hardfork also.
The blockchain will be way too slow, and fees are too high to use btc for everyday use.
Just the voters will give impact to the consensus. We are the spectators.
6715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Monero (XMR) on: April 30, 2017, 03:23:34 PM
How you see XMR will evolve in the next month?
But later in this year?

In crypto anything can happen.   But in general you cant expect any flashing news from Monero developers. They will work silently.   Daytraders on other hand can and will try to get coins cheap and sell expensive.  But since others coins are way easier to manipulate they try to avoid Monero.

This year?  I dont believe we will see much Monero under $20. Even when this crypto bubble will burst.

And welcome to the Bitcointalk.

i think step by step, monero will be increase too like other coins but if we want to get flash pump, i don't think that anybody know because i am sure that there is many factor that flash pump is happen. i think monero will be increase slowly but sure and they will reach higher price in next month. so lets we wait and see what is going on in next month.
http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monero/
There is no a lot of volatility on monero. The monero chart does not want to tell me. It looks we will see the price of monero will be stable on below $20 range.
In fact, a lot of new trades are not interested in pumping the price of monero to the moon. The new coin looks attracting for early investors.
6716  Economy / Economics / Re: A Federal judge in new York has not recognized bitcoin as money on: April 30, 2017, 03:06:48 PM
Bitcoin still in grey area, but no country make any decisions whether bitcoin is money or not,
May you read the title again? Newyork and it's a part of USA.  Roll Eyes

some country adapted bitcoin and we can used it to pay things but still not recognised as money,
so actually it's quite confusing, but it is a good thing if not considered as money so when we exchange bitcoin we won't be accused of money laundering
Only japan and no more. Japan already determined bitcoin as legal payment which means if bitcoin can be determined as a legal currency in his country, but not for another country. They're just announcing about the bitcoin not for the legal status of bitcoin itself.
6717  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Use Poloniex for receiving payments on: April 30, 2017, 06:58:06 AM
Is it okay/wise to receive payments directly to the poloniex account? Especially if the payment to be received is an altcoin?
It is okay, but not the best decision for you. What will you do if your payment will be reversible? Exchange have rules and anytime your transaction can be determined as a suspicious transaction.
I can say no for this one.

Because eventually the altcoin is to be exchanged with bitcoin, which will be done at polo so it makes sense to receive the alts directly there.
Same goes for buying altcoin too right?
It gives exchange site an obligation to control or manage your payment or salary.

I can buy alt with fiat from someone and give them polo address to receive. Has anyone done this?
It is possible and i ever did it before.
6718  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: sportsbet.io is fair site ? on: April 29, 2017, 11:05:16 PM
I want to bet 1 BTC tomarrow on barcelona
is that site fair ?
Based on his trust summary and seems sportbet is not trustworthy right now. He has not resolved the scamming accusation. I can become a real evidence for you to stay away from using them at this time. Or you can try another one from my signature.  Cheesy
6719  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Poloniex To Delist 17 Altcoins In May Without Explanation on: April 29, 2017, 10:47:51 PM
No reason is given for delisting.
They've reasons to delisting all of the coins to replace them with another good one such as gnosis, The listed of gnosis is a clue about the reason to delisting a lot of coins.
And the reason on why they list Gnosis is unknown as well.
Although, Gnosis looks very odd in my opinion but they are offering something fresh from their oven.
Innovation, distribution methods, And a lot of points need to be determined.

I guess is this what we get for an unregulated market ; No big brother is watching.
All of the cryptos are on gray area, No doubt the official parties will doubt it.

6720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex- bank blocked all their deposits on: April 29, 2017, 03:26:57 AM
Bitfinex will stop their business very soon. They've already gained a bad rep for getting hacked and causing alot of trouble for the community. Here we are again, history does tend to repeat itself.
There is a possibility for bitfinex will become another cryptsy!!!! (not yet)
Although it is not their fault. In this case, the bank has held a big role.
The possible party to make an intervention to the bitfinex is only bank itself.
Bitcoin is being very bullish at the moment, it would be a shame for bitfinex to halt this.
Nope, the problem is on his wire transaction. If they will not be announcing another hacked case to attacking his site and it will never prevent the bullish trend of bitcoin.
Bitcoin is not good moving at this time. Be careful and dont use USA banks. Just check bitcoin friendly banks.
There is no friendly bank with bitcoin. Bitcoin has been running without a regulation.
