6701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: February 29, 2016, 01:29:12 PM
Yeah and I am really thankful now for the increasing price. Profits are coming again slow but sure. It is really lovely seeing bitcoin move specially when it is going up. My bought bitcoin from the past are now working itself to make me money.
6702  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin always be dependent on fiat? Is it? on: February 29, 2016, 01:26:54 PM
Bitcoin will always be dependent on fiat for sure as I don't see it replacing as we can't use our bitcoins physically to buy any product from physical shop.

That is right. I have said that a lot of times from different thread. We as humans wants something that we can touch. It is not easy for us to believe if we cant see it or touch it. That is how we are made.
6703  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: February 29, 2016, 01:25:38 PM
My friends told me about Bitcoin in 2013. But it was really only in 2014 that I started to earn and use Bitcoin.
why is there a gap? are you're not interested first after a friend told?

Even I joined the community after 1 year of gap, as at initial stage I was not sure whether to get into bitcoins or not, so I researched and then finally made a decision to enter the world of bitcoins.
Even I have a very large gap in between learning about it and actually using and earning bitcoin. There is this fear about something we do not have full understanding. For me, I waited until there is someone actually profiting in it before I jumped in.

Yeah some of us needs some proof before taking it seriously. Some just tried it from the start. That is why experience is needed when you want to explain what bitcoin is to a relative or a friend.
6704  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: February 29, 2016, 01:23:58 PM
When it comes to retirement, I choose not just to have 2 bitcoin but also to save money from different aspect form of investment so that I will not just depend on bitcoins or should I say I can actually save some so that we can have other sources of funds and not just here..

That is the best way. Or cash some of your bitcoin while cash is still there. Then get some other commodities to invest in. For safety purposes and some for your future family.
6705  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 29, 2016, 01:22:22 PM
I would choose for the gold because gold is way more secure to invest if you ask me, the bitcoin is also good to invest but it not really long on the market and it can collapse,

Also if you think about the fact that gold is one of the primary currency's on the world so that is another reason why gold is much safer to invest on a long term.

I dont know if we are still on our old days on believing with this precious metals or it  will still be really the main currency and will be valuable in the future. Gold have been there since start but there are a lot know who owns it. There are still some that are mined but it is also coming at its end. Just like bitcoin I think. It will just circulate once all are mined.
6706  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: February 29, 2016, 01:18:03 PM
I once deposited some good amount of bitcoins to a gambling site which later scammed badly, this is the worst mistake which I often regret. I think we should never deposit too big anywhere.

True or if you want to gamble just deposit the amount that you want to use. If it is investing in a gamble site that would be a bad idea. But there are some gambling site which are trusted now. And have remained in the industry since start.
6707  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: February 29, 2016, 01:16:25 PM
I think you can get rich by gambling but that is very risky if you ask me, you can also invest in the bitcoin of course, because the bitcoin halving is coming so you make a lot of money of you just invest a lot of money in the bitcoin itself.
I think investing is the best way to get rich in the future and if you want to win big fast you should try gambling.

Investing a great amount will take you to the rich side but you will be needing to buy some of it. The larger the better and more profit will come. But for those who does small jobs this is impossible that is why we are taking it to the higher level to make it faster which is gambling.
6708  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: February 29, 2016, 01:14:30 PM
I don't spend much of the bitcoins. I save some for investment, But when i only spent some for emergency purposes like needs at home that will surely benefit my whole family. This is a matter of smart spending your bitcoins somehow I have to consider my future..

True. We are the same on how we used bitcoin. Actually it is still an active spending. Some bought and just let it be there for profit. We on the other side make use of it when it is needed.
6709  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: February 29, 2016, 01:13:03 PM
Very few porn sites accept bitcoin Undecided

Yeah but is growing now. There are some who accepts it now. Although they are just live cam shows that is porn too. Maybe someday we can buy full HD porns by the use of this currency.
6710  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 29, 2016, 12:35:51 PM
Everything needs to be used for our betterment. Saving money will benefit you for the future as a huge value, but you wont'be getting regular patouts but investments will give regular payouts and the final maturity amount will also be high. So plan accordingly.

It is like a long term investment making it rot in your savings. That would be awesome if you got some large amount of coins. You can get some of your profits then let the investment stay again for another profit.
6711  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: February 29, 2016, 12:34:19 PM
I don't think so. Unless they will pay me like 50 BTC per month.  Grin

Wow I would accept that also. That is a lot of money plus it can grow more for just letting it stay in my wallet. That kind of BTC would be impossible to be paid from here. Just looking at the services they are a little cheap to pay large prices for those who help to campaign.
6712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 29, 2016, 12:30:42 PM
Are we talking in any quantity (dust included?).

For me its

- mining (even with a little hash I can earn steady amounts.  It's just a set it / forget it on a bigger pool).
- faucets - yeah people hate them but since I'm online anyways I don't mind taking a few minutes out every hour or two to hit them all.  Again its just dust but it adds up.

Things I won't do

- gamble (outside of minor sports betting)
- trade

I'd love to provide services but the things I'm good at generally aren't paid for in BTC.

True about the faucet. Although it is dust just like you said. But instead of just going idle for a lot of minutes better use it doing faucets. Or you could do captchas and make your fingers sore.
6713  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: February 26, 2016, 06:02:54 AM
Actually i never buy a bitcoin. I only earned it from signature campaign, twitter campaign and gambling. But someday i want buy bitcoin when the price is going down, so i can sell it when the price going up.

Great see that? It could be gain in a minimal effort. There is a thread here that talks about gold and bitcoin. Bitcoin is easier to earn than gold where literal mining is needed to get it. Here you earn it with campaigning, services, faucets and a lot more. So bitcoin is still best if you are the online guy or lady.
6714  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: February 26, 2016, 06:00:59 AM
its the price. that value that we are here for. if the price don't matter to me, i wouldn't be making effort to even visit this forum as i have something else better to do. i have to constantly check its price for i would sell my coins if its value won't be good anymore.

Correct. I wont be seeing your comment here if it doesnt matter. Though the threads should be enjoyed while profiting from it. We are also here to see some news on what might happen or what is happening now. Prices and predictions and some opinion on how to earn more.
6715  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: February 26, 2016, 05:58:26 AM
Privacy for cam girls?  Then why are they using "cams" if they want to be private?

I guess it is the privacy of no recording the cam. Just live and thats it. No more reproducing it for the profit of the recorder. Distributing this kind of video and reproducing it should be stopped also. You can see a lot of videos now that are cam recorded.
6716  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: February 26, 2016, 05:56:17 AM
I think it's not good for long term investment on bitcoin. Because we don't know next year or next 5 years bitcoin still exist or not. better invest on short term, so you don't need to wait so long.

It will always be better safe than nothing. Withdraw some and keep it. Then grow again what is left of your bitcoin. Once profit is there keep again some. Just do this for a year and you will see you wont be needing to worry about the long term investment.
6717  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin always be dependent on fiat? Is it? on: February 26, 2016, 05:54:51 AM
Bitcoin will always be dependent on fiat. Only if people were to completely accept bitcoin would fiat be rendered useless.

That would really be impossible. Something is needed to be used to determine the price of something. Just look at this way. Someone ask you where is your money. You will take your phone out of your pocket and show him this is my money. Then what if you broke your phone or electricity is down. Those are the questions that will be asked once they want to start bitcoin as a means of money  "like a fiat"
6718  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: February 26, 2016, 05:52:04 AM
Quit a day job is like getting our-self into a risk. The risk is high because if we are not able to spent some time we'll surely get into of financial problem.

that's why i have plan to reach minimum 10BTC before i quit of my dayjob and go to full on bitcoin
we need some capital before we action

Capital. Yeah that is right. And an emergency BTC's in case something bad happen. Going full time will have a higher risk, if you lose this all all you wont have anything to right in your resume about what work did you do in those past months that you are just at home trading and investing. Companies dont like blank in those pages of your life.
6719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 26, 2016, 05:50:08 AM
If you want to grow your bitcoins in a quick time then you should go for gambling that is the best way to multiply your bitcoins, its risky but you can afford to take risk.

That is true, Gambling and betting on different kind of games that use BTC as a method of betting are really the quick way to earn what you really need. Risk will always be there. Trading also have a risk. Gambling just have the higher risk in a minimal time.
6720  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: February 25, 2016, 07:27:39 AM
To be rich through bitcoin you need to buy a lot now while it is price is low. Then wait for that halving and you will see yourself sitting in a good spot at Hawaii.
