Here we for the first match of the EPL season 2019/20.

Liverpool 3 nil up with just 28 minutes on the clock, It's definitely going to be a long night for Norwich.

Placed a small bet on today's match

Odds were very tempting

That's an interesting odds, but let's see how it will fair out, Norwich have also couple of chances too.
Good luck.

The transfer window for English clubs have ended. Does anyone have official information does this apply for both players coming in and being transferred away from the Premier League? I know that they can no longer purchase players but can they still sell players abroad?

I think,  based on the info I read in some portals, that English clubs can still sell their players abroad,  just can't buy players any more.

Yes, the transfer windows affects only buying players simply because they'll be unable to register such player. Logically, they can still even make signings but such players will have to wait till January before they can play. Most team will be against selling a significant player as they'll not be able to sign any replacement.

It will have 0.1 in it once the sponsorship money comes in. First game is tonight so if anyone wants to join you don't have long left. Only 0.0025 to play and all money is split between the top 5 winners.
I really hope we get few more players. I am trying my best. Just made a post in WO. Let's see how they response.

I can't wait for the kick off this evening. Around 8 more hours to go
And after the full time I hope to see Liverpool 3 - 0 🤪

Finally the day as arrived, weekends have been horrible without these football leagues.

I'm not expecting Liverpool to go that far, They will not be at their usual best, of course except Norwich performance is really terrible.

1 hour at the end of the BUY Premier Market session, Dybala deal with Spurs unlikely will happen.

Juventus seems to have refused the offer of 70M.

Juventus had already reached a price agreement about 2 days ago, the deal falling through was said to be due to a high fee regarding image rights for Dybala + Transfer fee, which makes it a bit too much for Tottenham.

Tottenham can pat themselves on the back they've done some impressive deals, let's wait and see how far that will bring them in all competitions.

I'm very concerned for Man Utd, I doubt they have any plan for the season, I'm predicting they'll fall out of the top 6 come end of the season.
6726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 08, 2019, 12:29:35 PM
Series of deals are unfolding, David Luiz to Arsenal seem like pretty much a done deal, Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon signed by Tottenham (They seem to mean business this window) according to www.goal.com

I'm beginning to doubt if either Dybala or Coutinho will get a move away from their respective clubs before the close of the transfer window.

I am tipping Atletico Madrid will have very good beginning of the season and possibly even make some difference on top of the table if Barcelona and Real start a bit shakily. I was skeptical after they paid so much money for Joao Felix but Simeone obviously knew what he was doing since they played some very good football in friendly matches and Felix was impressive. Real is looking really bad at the moment and Barca is still finding their form or waiting for Messi Smiley

Opinions?

I don't think Barcelona will start the season poorly, although I'm not totally expectant of a big success for the season, The team probably will not be exceptionally brilliant but I think they'll always find ways to win matches, Madrid might start a bit shakily. I'm more convinced of Atletico Madrid chances of going all the way, really! And their beast is back to his best form, I'm making reference to Diego Costa.

Is there still any possibility of Dybala to Tottenham ? Because Tottenham just completed the signing of Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis in a deal worth over €55 Million. Perhaps, they've pulled out of the deal already.
6729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 07, 2019, 02:50:16 PM
Still quite a silent deadline imo, compared to numerous sagas we usually witnessed in previous years. That being said, the only deal I'm looking forward to get completed is Dybala to wherever in England, I just don't want to see him continue in Turin, but it's been all quite.
6730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 06, 2019, 07:17:18 PM
Rugani maybe can go to Arsenal for 30-35 M €.

Tottenham has done an offer for Dybala for 70M €.

If both will go before the 08.08.2019 Juventus will have 150M on pockets to attempt Pogba.

With the other players on the market can go up to 200M but after the end of the English market session and it will be harder to get Paulback

What a fucking twist of fate ? Dybala to Tottenham...

It's said that Juventus have agreed on a deal already and all leftnis personal terms with Spurs.

It is half time in the game PAOK Saloniki - Ajax and the Dutch team seems to be loosing.
I feel like it would be a hard series for them and probably we are going to see them out of Champions League this year, even they did an amazing way last season.

The match ended 2 goals apiece, Ajax are slightly in favor now since they'll be playing the return leg at home.

The surprise of the day so far is Qarabaq defeating Apoel 2 - 1 on home soil, lucky enough for Apoel they were able to pull one back in the 95th minute, it could be have been a tougher task ahead of the second if they didn't score while at home.

@hilariousandco, Maybe it's time to start collecting money? EPL season starts this Friday, so, not much time left. And it's sad that we didn't reached 30 players like last year. But there is still some time left and I hope that 1-2 people still can sign up...

I'll happily put up two free entries if someone is on the fence (not people that have already registered), sort of a pay it forward thing, if hilariousandco would allow. No newbies, please.

Can you have me, please. ?

Let’s be honest Maguire is far from world class. They’re spending a lot of money on second rate players. We’ll see what happens on the pitch this season but Man Utd will struggle to get top 4 imo.

I don't agree with this! Maguire is one of the best (maybe still improving) centre back in the world rn, and he's still got a lot years ahead of him to be better. He's not been overpaid for, as far as I'm concerned!

Man Utd c'mon get Dybala and I'd be a fan for the rest of the season.
6734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 04, 2019, 04:47:25 PM
From my observation of the match, city were the better side, dominating possession which earn then an early goal score at the 12th minute by R. Sterling then Liverpool came out the stronger side in the second half which also earn then an equalizer. Although Liverpool had numerous chances to score a second goal to win the match but couldn't utilize those chances properly.

Man City were only the better side for the 1st Half only, Liverpool were impulsive in 2nd half,  They were head above shoulders better than City after the break, and dominated every aspect of the game thereafter.
Overall match, Liverpool were still the better side, maybe slightly.

Congratulations to City! Not a bad way to kickstart a new season...

Official: Kean to Everton

Still no info about the contract and a possible buyback for Juventus lets see if something new will happen on the Juventus press note.

Could be another talent gone the wrong way, I could say he'd get a better play chance at Everton, yeah right! but I'm not convinced he's game would improve.
Maybe I'm too critical about Everton as a club, but I've seen far too many prospective talents get wasted at the club, I hope Kean proves me wrong this time around.

Guys, do you think Neymar will move back to Barcelona? I think this transfer is like a joke in football world

It will be very dumb for Neymar to do so.
Barcelona will be benefited from this transfer only if they buy him 20% lower than they sold him.
But I don't think that this transfer will become true. It's only rumors about that.

I've been a Barcelona fan all my life, but this is the only move I'd hate to see go through, there is absolutely no doubt  about Neymar's talent but I don't Barcelona to think of building its team around such an unreliable player.
With Messi's departure looming, Barcelona will be looking for another center figure to take his place, that's where Neymar comes to mind, but hey, they've got to ask themselves, can we rely on this player ? Almost everyone knows the answer to that. I'd rather the club look at other upcoming players, like Dembele and Coutinho they've got what it takes too, they just need time.

It has begun!  No Mane (Origi playing his spot), no Ederson (Bravo playing his spot)...  And it's good to see Sane still around and starting.

Keep a look out for LFC_Bitcoin...  He could be doing a BTC sign.  Lololol.  Grin

Edit:  Ederson on the bench.  So is Aguero.

Too bad, he had to leave the pitch with an injury. I hope it won't be a serious one though...

Man City going in to break with a lone goal lead, courtesy of Sterling.

It's been quite a even game though, 2nd half should be more interesting, I guess.

6738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 03, 2019, 04:21:45 PM
Man City vs Liverpool is always a good match but expect strange starting like ups & perhaps both teams not being 100% at their best. I know the Community Shield is a trophy, kind of but the real stuff starts next weekend.
That's what I have in mind now when waiting for the Community Shield match. Both teams will certainly not lose their best squad, because this match is just a normal thing but this can add to the trophy for both teams. Even so, I'm sure this match will still be interesting.

I don't expect both teams to take the fixture with extreme levity, It's always the final preparation before the new season, and both teams would want to make a statement that they're ready for the new challenge, of course we might see some unusual face in the lineups, but it's still going to be a great game to see.

I have a feeling...

Do you know who is on the market now?

Do you know who can buy him with the money and the Sanè sell?

You right, Neymar to City?

What is the reason to sell Sanè for them?

Neymar plays on the same spot.

This is could be an amazing turn out and it's a very possible deal, IMO.

But if Neymar doesn't find a move away from the club this window, It's not going to be the end of his playing day in the PSG Jersey as most of you in here have suggested, it's just a matter of an apology and everything will be sorted out. It happened with Verratti. The media is always making issues like this bigger than what they really are.
6740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 31, 2019, 06:37:39 PM

Great opportunity for Malcom to sign.
Barcelona makes a mistake of selling him as they lack in players in his position. Maybe they are going to buy someone with the money they are going to get.

I strongly doubt that'd be the case though, I don't think Barcelona will make any further transfer, at least not attacking player.

Overall, I was expecting Valverde to count on Malcom this season as well, so it's still quite good that the club is making more they spent to sign him last season.
