6721  Economy / Economics / Re: Worrying Stock Market Drop and Fiat Devaluation on: August 12, 2019, 06:01:52 AM
With the sudden 700+ Point plunge of the Dow Jones and China's sudden devaluation of the Yuan what are some aspects of interest do you have that might reflect upon the current and the future of the Digital Currency Market?
It is really weird that whole world economy is going down all together these days, I mean financial world is trying to handle and not collapse all together but right now its really not looking good because one day eventually they will have to let go and then we will have a huge crisis.

I would totally understand if american economy is bad or Chinese economy is bad whatever but right now USA, Europe, Asia all are looking bad, middle east is the only one handling well because they have shit ton of oil and that allows them to make a ton of money and they use that money to invest into many things, even though things they invest into will not make a lot of money because of the crisis it is still a ton of money combined going into middle east which makes them the safest bet right now.
6722  Economy / Speculation / Re: NO-DEAL BREXIT 'WILL SEE CRYPTOCURRENCY VALUE HIT RECORD HIGH on: August 11, 2019, 04:50:55 PM
No-deal brexit seems like its about to happen anytime soon. With that wacky dude Boris at the helm UK seems to be getting closer to USA level of madness every single day, it w as apparent the moment he got picked as the prime minister, dude literally appointed someone that gave him millions of pounds as bribe to a high level position before he even took the office.

It is not shocking that Trump managed to anger a lot of countries specially China that they work so much with, same is gonna happen with UK which works with Europe a lot obviously and they will have a no deal brexit soon. With that in mind I am not entirely sure if companies will go the Bitcoin route to bypass all the legal stuff, maybe some of them will but I am not sure if it will be big enough to make it record high.
6723  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction – $24,000 BTC/USD before Christmas 2019 on: August 11, 2019, 03:26:46 PM
I think 24k is still a bit to go, I mean surely we will reach there but not right now, it will take a bit more time. I think next summer we will be at 24k for sure. I can't predict the precise price because I have no idea what would happen and I have no idea what it could be, I am not a fortuneteller after all and if I was someone who would predict the market beforehand I would have been super wealthy already.

However, my understanding is that miners will lose a lot of money and they would try to sell their coins later after the price went up after the halving which would keep the price low for a while and after they run out of ammo the price will start to go up. Hence I am expecting first a big increase then a decrease then even a bigger increase afterwards but I could be totally wrong.
6724  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Could Surpass $15,000 This Week: Max Keiser on: August 10, 2019, 11:42:52 AM
It is actually going that route right now, it was under 10k just couple days ago and now its close to 12k (above 11.5k at least) and that means we are actually in a upwards momentum. People are waiting for 15k like its some kind of magic number that would solve all the problems but I feel like any upwards movement is quite good right now since we need some sort of hype. However without actually keep going up there won't be too much to really look for, sure the increase is amazing but we have to keep it up and create some sort of hype.

When bitcoin goes too high than even newspapers start to write about it and that makes the worlds difference to us, more people start to join and more money starts to pour into the market and than not only bitcoin but all other coins take advantage of it.
6725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best websites for bitcoin candlestick charts on: August 10, 2019, 11:22:03 AM
I believe there are really none that is better than tradingview and if you do not like it then I am not sure if the other suggestions will be as good as it but if you can just push through the "ideas" and what not parts you will slowly start to not even realize they exist.

Until that time though I can totally suggest coinigy, it is not as good as tradingview but it has a free option as well and the worst you can do is open one account and check how it is doing, that way you can at least get to see if you like coinigy more or would you prefer to stay on tradingview, I would personally still use tradingview over coinigy but I would prefer tradingview over any other option hence maybe I am biased, go check it out and let us know what you think about it and maybe more people would switch.
6726  Economy / Gambling / Re: OneHash || Mutual Sports Betting & Casino 🎲 || No Registration or KYC 💰 on: August 10, 2019, 10:24:36 AM
The points system is amazing for winning but it only rewards the whales of the game that can afford to pay for big wagers. I wish it was more like ticket system where instead of getting one point you get one ticket and eventually the more wagered people would have more tickets but at least the low wagered people would have a shot as well.

That way you could have gotten more wagers as well, now only the whales will fight with each other but in that system everyone would try to get in on this and try to wager as much as they could in order to have more chances, the total would have been higher too that way and everyone would win except for one person who would wagered the most and even they would have a high chance of winning the lottery that way.
6727  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bustabit: scam or hack, you be the judge. on: August 10, 2019, 09:58:09 AM
I agree with RHavar (as always) because it has been a very very small amount, do you really think that if there was a hack they wouldn't really abuse it more?

If I have a hack of a website I would personally of course let them know in exchange for a bit of "gift" hopefully (even without gift I would just let them know) but lets say I am a bad person and I want to abuse a casino, I would totally get as much as I can and withdraw as much as I can to empty the hot wallet as a whole before anyone figures it out, whats the point of getting small by small when everything is traceable so people would totally see it and would cut it before you can make too much money. Hence, I think it was a hack and it happened but now it is long gone, whatever these guys are doing it is just a happy coincidence for them.
6728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sold too damn early!! Kicking myself... on: August 10, 2019, 09:31:55 AM
Unfortunately, there are way too many people who lose too early, they are really upset about it and usually some of them even leave the market for good and never return which is really a sad thing considering that is money leaving the market all together without any chance to comeback.

I would like to speak to every single person who wants to leave the bitcoin world for good and say that even if you lost money this time or even if you needed money and you couldn't find what you hoped for, just keep an eye on here, don't leave forever, just try to get a bit of small amounts from either airdrops, bounties or anything else and try to stay involved, you may have lost this time but you never know when you will win. Maybe next time you join you will make a lot more profit.
6729  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Utter Denial on: August 09, 2019, 05:46:42 PM
When people say it always goes back up thats not for the shitcoins you are holding, they may go to 1 satoshi each or even further down (there are now purely eth based pairs which makes it lower than 1 satoshi) and if you are waiting for them to go back up you are dead wrong.

However, the reality is that bitcoin does always goes back up, and I mean just bitcoin, ripple may not, ethereum may not, they have a great shot at going back up but even they may fail at it, however when it comes to bitcoin that always goes back up. Bitcoin is the OG coin and nothing could make it go down forever, you need to have something better than bitcoin created and invented in order to make bitcoin go down and that new thing go up and that can't even be a crypto currency, no crypto currency is going above bitcoin ever, it has to be something very new.
6730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the main parameter for you when you choose a crypto exchange? on: August 09, 2019, 05:29:29 PM
I'm looking for crypto exchange, and it's challenging for me to pick one. I want to start with changelly because they have low fees, but they have just about 100 coins. what do you think about it?
I think the best one is anti-kyc deal, if they have no kyc then I would probably move to second thing.
I do not have just one thing I look at but multiple things, kyc is just the first one but super important, if I can't withdraw even 0.1 btc from you without KYC then I am not picking you.

Secondly, I would look at the coin options, there are few coins that I would like to hold and they are quite small and unknown ones, they are not really listed in many places and if you have them all then there is a big chance I pick you too.

Lastly, but not least I would look at volume, if you do not require KYC (or at least do not require until certain limit) and you have my favorite coins and you have volume then you are gonna be the place I trade and only two places exist like that, I hate one of them because of how they run it so I go with the first one.
6731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects with Real Working Product care less about bullrun on: August 09, 2019, 04:27:58 PM
I guess why would they? They are not doing something for the price of it, the price is the unimportant part of a project if they have a utilization. If they will create a token or a coin that would be used in something then they care about that product they will use it on to be good instead of the price.

Let's say you create a token that is basically one to one ratio for some company, then they would care how good that company does, that would reflect on the token eventually. Or maybe there is a game you can play with that token, they care how good that game is and if there are bugs or are the owners working on that bugs etc etc. Basically the utility of that token depends on the product you use it on and the price is not that important since people got it to use it not trade it.
6732  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance Swirled into ‘KYC Leak’ Turmoil, Binance not Safu Anymore on: August 09, 2019, 01:44:49 PM
I think the real problem turned out to be that during the time binance used a third party organization for KYC procedure they were hacked, not binance itself by the way, the company they worked with on KYC got hacked and information during that time got hacked from that company that was supposed to be binance users. It does relate to binance because they should have picked a better company but at the same time that shows binance wasn't hacked it was another company binance worked with and that allows us to have a trust on binance once again.

It doesn't matter if they get hacked or not they eventually make it back when it is about money, you can literally get destroyed if your KYC gets stolen though, bad people would be more than willing to spend 300 bitcoins on getting 10k+ KYC information since that would allow them to money launder so much more easily.
6733  Economy / Economics / Re: What is behind the past few days of rally? on: August 09, 2019, 09:12:15 AM
I think the manipulation talk has risen in the last 1.5 years because of the bitmex deal, there has been an opportunity to make a ton of money thanks to margin trading and that leverages allow people to make more money than they would normally make, I am not an expert on leverages and I have never really understood it but people with a ton of money could just simply get long futures and then buy a bunch of bitcoin and they would end up with more bitcoin then they normally would, same applies to short futures where they buy short futures first then sell a bunch of bitcoin.

As you can see people who have money can make it go up or go down whenever they want and end up with a lot of profit during the process thanks to bitmex futures. That is why manipulation seems probable, it doesn't have to be manipulation but there is a good chance of it.
6734  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: One of the Best Weapons in Trading on: August 09, 2019, 07:29:31 AM
Yeah, people are really not caring about stop loss as much as they should if they will end up selling anyway. I mean there are holders who do not mind like me that buy at any price at all and just keep it there forever, I am not a fan of selling my coins and I usually just hold as long as possible (except if there is some emergency that requires me to cash out) so that is why I still hold a bunch of coins, some of them even dropped like hell but I am still keeping them.

However, at the same time I do not understand people who sell very low, if you were aiming at selling that low why didn't you just put a stop loss and sold for a lot higher from what you end up selling it at. If anyone decides that they would be willing to sell when price falls %20, should put a stop loss at %5 as well to make sure they don't lose that much.
6735  Economy / Speculation / Re: Alternative view: There is no bull market. Bitcoin will go down. on: August 08, 2019, 03:56:39 PM
People who are locked in the past can never move to future, I may have butchered the translation of that from my language but that is true in any language. If you still think that what happened in bitcoins past will repeat itself in the future you are wrong, you are dead wrong.

The notion that "history repeats itself" then you are super wrong, people do take out lessons from the wrongs that has been done in the past and we move from that. Maybe we are not progressing as well as we should and maybe sometimes we take a step back or two but eventually humanity always goes further and so does everything with it. Bitcoin do not have a 4 year cycle nor does it do things like people expect it to do, just because 2017 was a peak doesn't mean 2021-2022 will be neither, we are already in a bull market since we moved from 3k to 11k already if you haven't noticed.
6736  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin’s Price May Be Building for a Move Back Above $11K on: August 08, 2019, 02:24:21 PM
I think $20k is not "impossible", I mean surely it looks improbable right now but it looks not impossible. We have moved from 3400 dollars to over 11 thousand dollars already and I know it stayed there for over a month now and the price keeps going up and down but the reality is that another double is never out of question for bitcoin.

It may take months of stable price trend movements or it could just hectically move but in the end bitcoin doubling is never surprising. Moving 3-4k range to 13k was very unlikely if you asked people back than, if they checked the price fall from 20k to 6-8k range first than 3-4k range and you went up and asked them if they think price will be 13k they would say no, but we have seen it happen which means even though its unlikely at this time, its not impossible to hit 20k.
6737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is There A point To still Hold Litecoin As An Investment? on: August 08, 2019, 01:32:12 PM
There is a huge reason for investing into litecoin because it is the most innovative old coin out there. It improves it is blockchain like hell and always has a new thing up their sleeves but it is also 5+ years old (I don't remember the first day of it but I am pretty sure it is at least 6 years old). So, you are getting both a coin that is brand new with its tech and features but also an old one that everybody knows as old as crypto goes.

It is like getting a very old beetle and then basically renovating everything about it, from bumbers to engine to tires to basically everything including cars frame itself, literally a brand new one but it is just a beetle and still looks like a beetle, even though everything is brand new they are all still beetles parts. That is what I think makes litecoin so great.
6738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Happened with ETH ? on: August 08, 2019, 10:20:43 AM
It will still go up, do not listen to people that think ethereums time is done, it is still the best all around there is. Right now, all of market went down, all the way from 20k times to this day price has always been shaky and bear run hurt it like hell, however it is recovering, it is even focusing on making it proof of stake instead of proof of work. It is also the leader in ICO fundings and it is also allowing dapps to built and games to be played, it also has blockchain storing data technology.

Basically, anyone can do whatever they want with it and there is nothing better at what ethereum does better than ethereum itself. It may not be what it used to be and it may have hard days but eventually it will rise back up and will go up, remember this is the second biggest coin right now.
6739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin suddenly soared this week on: August 08, 2019, 08:59:01 AM
The difference this time around is that people didn't expect this, it happened as a surprise and bitmex wasn't ready for this neither, there has been a lot of talk about how margin trading is only sustainable if the price moves reverse of what people say and even if it goes the way people say it should not be insane so that it could be covered but this seems like a sudden and a huge one so it could be totally unexpected.

When people all expect bitcoin to go up and there is a hype going on and people assume higher prices are given, the market stops because it never does what you expect it to do, why would others let you profit from something obvious when they can instead. However when it goes up unexpectedly that is when the real deal actually starts.
6740  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best advice you ever heard in case of investments and all on: August 08, 2019, 08:06:07 AM
I believe for everyone here the "best" would be never to invest money you can't afford to lose. I have seen too many people who get out very quickly because they have to spend that money for some reason and that results with them taking a loss because they can't wait.

Now, when bitcoin goes up and you buy because you think it will continue to go up most of the time you are right, no matter even if it is 20k all time high it will eventually be higher than that but you need to hold according to where you bought, if you bought at a great time then next day you will be in profit, if you bought at a bad price you may end up holding for years but as long as you hold it is fine, if you can't hold and need that money then it is not an investment, it can't be called investment, you just change the shape of your money, instead of dollars euros or whatever you use, you have bitcoin, that's it.
