a speceship

a dinossaur, but I would not be sad if they sold it for cash only

topic: steam credit, directly from steam, without middleman's

you said it man. i have been dreaming for this to happen for over a year now.
i even submitted a ticked to their support team requesting them to add bitcoin as another payment method but it has not happened yet Sad
6722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What regular people think about bitcoin ? on: January 25, 2016, 03:54:58 PM
I was suprised to see some of my friends who don't deal with online payment method also know word bitcoin and they find it intresting. Bitcoin is still a curious thing to common people like a completely new thing from the other world.

except for my tech savvy friends, a lot of the "regular people" that i know have shown interest in bitcoin back when the solo mining was possible and the price was going up to $1200. they were all mining and selling/trading bitcoin
but now only my tech savvy friends show interest in bitcoin. and the rest are scared of the price.
6723  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: January 25, 2016, 03:48:12 PM
Well, I don't think Girls are less than guys in any fields, they are now even more advanced and used-to techs than boys, so why won't girls be using Bitcoins? What gives them a reason not to use it? Undecided
There are certainly girl using Bitcoin.
Especially girls who understand how it works.

well it is up to us (the bitcoin users) to introduce bitcoin to them and help them understand how it works.
i have done this recently. i introduced bitcoin to one of my friends and now she is more interested than me and she is buying bitcoin every chance she gets.
6724  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think bitcoins will disapear or become unused? on: January 25, 2016, 03:45:35 PM
bitcoin is never going to disappear, if something like that was about to happen it would lose popularity at worst case scenario. it would become a relic of old ages and pioneer of cryptocurrencies.

but i doubt anything like that happens because bitcoin has a lot of potential and still have a lot of room to grow and better itself.
6725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with 1,5 BTC? on: January 24, 2016, 02:40:41 PM
the safest option is to hold the bitcoins in a safe wallet offline and wait for the price rise to sell and enjoy the money. but also from investment plans i like trading altcoins and 1.5BTC is a good starting amount for investment.
6726  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello i am new on: January 24, 2016, 02:36:26 PM
Hello @ all,

I am new to bitcoins and this forum, i do have some question :

Can i sell Virtual Goods? Or is that not allowed?

I plan to sell stuff that cost from 1$ to 100$ there is 1 important question can i ask to use escrow even for 1$?

I know so much scams and this is why i try to protect me.

selling stuff in here is perfectly normal and allowed check their sections: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=51.0 as long as what you sell is not illegal

also other legal issues like taxes is something that you need to pay attention due to your countries laws.

and since your account is new, you should always use escrow. and for $1 you can send the good first if the person is trusted
6727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Method for Easy BTC on: January 24, 2016, 02:20:51 PM
.....
Method 1:
Bet amount(Satoshi): 1
Payout multiplier: 3.01
Low/high: Both works
Betting speed: You can decide
Limit rolls: No
Raise on Win: 0%
Raise on Loose: 65%
Run while offline: you can decide
[~faster but more risky]

Method 2:
Bet amount(Satoshi): 1
Payout multiplier: 5.01
Low/high: Both works
Betting speed: You can decide
Limit rolls: No
Raise on Win: 0%
Raise on Loose: 65%
Run while offline: you can decide

why do you increase the bet by 65% on both multipliers? you can raise less when you have 5x, or am i missing something.

also what is the run while offline? i didn't know you could bet offline!! is it a fastdice feature?
6728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Sport To Gamble on: January 24, 2016, 02:07:19 PM
I think Tennis and Soccer are the two best sports to gamble.. I have made considerable profits with this.. What do you guys think ?

anything can be good. i think this is just a matter of preference. if you enjoy that particular sport and have found a good place to place your bets any sport can be best sport to gamble. (from football, to dog race and chicken fights Smiley)
6729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2016, 02:02:25 PM
my methods of growing my bitcoin are get maximum payment from signature campaign. and also stay away from investing on hyip, and also stay away from gambling.

I guess you got nice strategy to safe guard your bitcoins. Because, along with growing bitcoin ambitions, we must concentrate of securing our bitcoins. Avoiding HYIP and gambling are definitely will save your bitcoins but only signature campaign is not enough to grow your bitcoins.

why are you so afraid form HYIPs?
if HYIPs work so good it is because sometimes it is profitable.
...you have just to chose the good ones...
the problem is not the HYIP...
the problem is the HYIP choser (lol)

we can not see the future so we will never know which one on these HYIPs are going to stay for longer than the other so that we can choose that one. even if it is for just one period.
but one thing is for sure , they will all stop at one point and whoever invested in them will take the hit at that point.
6730  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: January 24, 2016, 01:55:54 PM
before anything i want to see a stable bitcoin, both price and other stuff like block size,... after that i hope to do all my online shoppings directly with bitcoin which is a lot these days.

My target is Tomorrowland ticket, I hope I will have enough in next year, if bitcoin keep that price (400$) lol

isn't tomorrowland the movie with george cloony which is from last year?
6731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 million [BTC] moved in one block on: January 24, 2016, 01:48:56 PM
it's most likely a large mining farm that is spreading its mega stash that they saved up throughout the years. the majority of the 1 million amount are spread into 1200-1200 btc per transaction. i think these coins will end up being spreaded as 10-100 btc per address.

i was thinking the same thing. it has to be someone with a huge amount of bitcoin and usually big miners have this big amounts. and the big transactions of the block seems to be around 600-800 BTC being moved around.
6732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need to convert Bitcoins to new units... on: January 24, 2016, 01:41:35 PM
Paying 0.000001 or 0.000035 is just impossible to remember and use... nobody will use that in the future if we want it mainstream.
I know satoshi exists as smallest unit but they are quite hard to remember.
When someone says 10,000 satoshi I try to think how much is that while 1 BTC is easy to understand.
So maybe we should have new bitcoins to keep the name where 1 new bitcoin = 0.0001 old bitcoins to make it easier to use...
share your thoughts.

using satoshi as a unit is not hard IMO. and sending bitcoin in satoshi is easy to implement in wallets if necessary.
for instance, right now i can change my wallet to show all values in micro or mili bitcoin. and if bitcoin becomes that expensive that 1 satishi, 1000 satishi and so on become popular it is just a simple code that can be added to the wallet to use satoshi as input.
6733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese community consensus to stay with Core 1MB. Meeting held Jan 24 Shenzen, on: January 24, 2016, 01:35:21 PM
Chinese community consensus to stay with Core 1MB. Meeting held Jan 24 Shenzen, many Chinese BTC companies including AntPool/Bitmain, Bither, HaoBTC, BTC123, BTCKan

Source: http://8btc.com/thread-28405-1-1.html

good. maybe Chinese bitcoin community with their mining power can put an end to this block size debate that is hurting bitcoin by dividing people into two groups.
6734  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bter Scam Exchange? on: January 23, 2016, 03:51:47 AM
after the "claimed" hack the exchanger went to hell, and i lost a lot of money. i don't even know why they are still open especially since all the markets look dead with 0 trades.
6735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you be happy if Bitcoin remained as it is now? on: January 19, 2016, 04:39:11 PM
while this state, being an investment, is good and it has been profitable to a lot of traders and me as a very smaller part of it but i still want to see bitcoin become an actual currency which is used as much as fiat and replace credit cards someday.
6736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Washington Post: 'R.I.P. Bitcoin. It’s time to move on' on: January 19, 2016, 04:34:20 PM
another day and another nonsense from media about bitcoin. it looks to me like whenever there is any movement in bitcoin, they increase their attacks on bitcoin.
it is more harmful to bitcoin than anything else.
6737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: January 14, 2016, 04:34:56 AM
I will consider Bitcoin real money if I am able to use it worldwide. At this point this is not the case. I see it as an alternative currency. That's basically what it is right now.

yeah, i agree. i have the same feeling too.
as long as there is not enough places to spend bitcoin and more importantly when there is no place to spend in my country (locally) i can't consider bitcoin as a currency. it is just an investment for me so far.
6738  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: October 20, 2015, 04:02:44 AM

6739  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [READ BEFORE POSTING] Best web, desktop, mobile and hardware wallets on: October 19, 2015, 06:30:16 PM
this is a nice list for the wallets, but the web/online wallets is missing GreenAddress and also circle.com these are two wallets that i have heard good reviews about.
6740  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most you won on any scratchcard on: October 19, 2015, 06:11:22 PM
I've spent about $150 ok scratch offs - either $1 or $5 and have only won about $7 back. It's a complete waste but it is a a lot of fun

yeah, they are very fun to play because of the chance of winning a large amount of money but in the end it is wasting your time.

i have lost about $50 so far on them, and never won anything bigger than $1 neither heard of anybody who won the big prize!
