I believe more people loss money during the last bull run because some investors came late thinking bitcoin will even rise more.
In short they got FOMOd and since they are not used to this kind of market situation, when there was a correction and price started to dump, I think they sold their investments at a lower value because they panic.

That's true but big exchanges can host and IEO for big projects, they worth millions and more projects with millions will help increase the marketcap and the trading volume.

This one is also big, haven't heard about Bitfinex lately on the IEO discussion as it's all Binance,  but they have plans for IEO of their own token to raise big money.

That's not easy, if major altcoins have no moon yet, we will not likely see a bull for SVD.
They need to take care of their trading volume first, with lower volume we cannot sell our tokens even we are in the bull run.

When its on IEO, it's guarantee that a certain project will be listed right after the sale.
Investors interest is to sell their coins at a higher value so they can have the profit, and there is a chance to rise if it's listed right away.

Exchanges are vulnerable to hacking, putting it in a hard wallet will minimize the risk, you'll be more secured.
I presume that you invest by holding it long term, then hard wallet is the best idea.

We can't conclude the first half yet since we are still in May, at the start of the week and we already see some great improvement.
The first half would be good and that would bring massive investment int the 2nd half because investors will believe that a long bullish period might continue.
