No one plays 100% in a preseason game. Lakers will not play lebron too much and probably won't play other vets neither, they just gonna abuse the minutes of players like hart and ingram and even maybe kuzma, they just want to see how the young players do during preseason and try some tactics and strategies against teams like warriors which would be west opponents if they face each other, which means we may see a new system for lakers but not 100% given by the players, so the result of this game would be futile. On paper warriors are still marginally better than lakers in every position except small forward which is damn close with lebron and kd positioned there.
I agree with this. The young players of Lakers will just be the one playing with most time here to prevent injuries on their veteran players. The vets will play definitely but it will not be as long as they play in regular season. They want to see how other players play so that they can adjust with their play. I think preseason doesn't play that much by vets because they don't want other teams see their strategy. Lakers are becoming better and better each year and the addition of these veteran players will make better and can compete to the playoffs.
They won't even show the total potential of their veterans but I disagree a bit with this. They will let the veterans play so they could test some of the plays that they have been playing and it cannot be denied that they are doing pretty well with some preseason games. It looks like they aren't just playing but they are serious with it somehow.

Yes. Have seen that too.
Looks like Lebron's influence gives a big impact to this veteran players.

As Rondo says:
"He's Probably An Even Better Leader"
And another:
"I played against him for 13 years now, but obviously I think what your hear versus what you see is a little bit different."

If this keeps up then their chemistry will grow stronger.
It is a different kind of game now. They have the goal to get that championship.
6722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to solve the problem of crypto hacks? on: October 12, 2018, 03:47:19 PM
Yes, they must offer this to those small time DEX's.  Grin

It got me thinking, why would they buy a cheap security measure just so they can get more profits. While on the other hand they are risking all the crypto currency that they are holding.
Such a stupid kind of thinking.

Perhaps, they could look more to the top security to get more traders rather than putting more effort into advertisements just so they get more popular.  Sad

Hack prevention. Stop new currencies to be listed into cheap exchanges which buys cheap security. Do not rush them to be listed and let them get the funds first.
6723  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Careful with Social Media Tips on: October 11, 2018, 07:59:33 PM
Social media is a good source for learning on how to use strategies and at what time. Just keep in mind that many traders offer their advice for a particular situation in a particular time.
You should design your own tactics, at your own pace. There is no guarantee that everything you see in these guides will work out for you the same way it did for posters. Keep learning, trade, and draw your own conclusions.
https://www.cryptocointrade.com

Correct there is no such thing as an accurate one when it comes to crypto currency trading.
It will always be just a prediction.
Just take those basic techniques and apply it on your own. Make a prediction that will best suit you and make choices of your own.
This way you will also avoid blaming others and just regret it on your own if mistakes are done.
6724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 11, 2018, 06:55:10 PM
That game had 63 free throws! I hope regular season doesn't go along this way, I hate to see a game take this long, we are not watching nfl or something, this is nba, we love it because of the showcase players put up every night and not just want to watch people shoot 20 free throws a night.

One of the biggest reasons people do not like James harden because he tries to get fouled every night and shoot 20+ free throws a night. If this continues during the regular season I am pretty sure they will lose viewers and adam silver will get in and fix that and get it fixed.

This "less defense more offense" seriously started to be too much punishment for proper defending.

They should consider looking at how Harden is doing that kind of bait to get a free throw.
That is almost like an offensive foul for he is the one attacking the defender. True that is not entertaining to see. Somehow I am also in a bad temper when I see him does that kind of play.

It is dirty and not the kind of basketball that we want to watch. Just to get free points he would go that far and abuse the call since there is no rule for it.
Maybe when the referee is not calling that as a foul during the Finals against GSW is to teach him a lesson not to mess with the game.
6725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi. What did he found to create something like bitcoin? on: October 11, 2018, 04:30:22 PM
Beyond coding, satoshi understood basic economics, he understood that technology can end inflation, poverty, trade wars, inequality, and overall unify businesses! What most coin creators have decided to ignore! Satoshi remains different because when he started bitcoin, it wasn't all about the money it would make for him, it was about stamping out global meltdown in trade, finance and commerce generally! I am sure he is surprised at what bitcoin has become! But these other coin creators?? Can't say for sure what they are, what they are creating and how they hope to use it to solve the problems satoshi aimed to solve with bitcoin!!

Oooohhh!!!
Those are strong words for a newbie. Yes!!!!
Thank you for that. Economics might be his mastered course and maybe (although I am still not sure) he really did see how cruel fiat system is.
I remember one government authority in one country who had plundered a lot of money in her country.
Guess what is her degree? Yes! Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics! Graduated Magna cum laude at one of the prestigious schools and also consistent Dean's list status.

I can say when you are in economics you can easily see holes in the financing industry. Maybe satoshi really did.
6726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Prediction/Fear Was Right!! on: October 11, 2018, 03:00:07 PM
I hope someone could really answer you that question accurately.
I have read until the 5th page and all I see is just they dont know and blah blah blah.

No one can tell.
But if we consider the ICO scams it might be one of the culprit of this recent dumps.
Next, is Buterin's announcement about the crypto peak which will not happen again. Those things could be considered as reasons behind this.
Just my opinion though.
6727  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Official Yobit Pump on: October 11, 2018, 01:36:44 AM
The question is what afterwards.
I have also received an email from Yobit regarding this pump.
I guess they are also desperate to gain value for their own coin.
Forgot the name of it already.
Who's foolish enough to bite in this kind of bait. They are targeting newbies again. Ouch!
6728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi. What did he found to create something like bitcoin? on: October 10, 2018, 08:54:31 PM
snip

This was also my question in life whenever I scroll out and see feeds or threads about satoshi. I wonder who or what it really was and how was it really it invented. Also, how could he/she or it contain a large amount of currency that can even be converted to fiat.

Before it was easy to mine bitcoin. The difficulty of it was so low that they can have a lot in just a day.
That is why there is this thread here about the pizza thing which was bought for a lot of bitcoin.
Satoshi just simply did not spend the bitcoin that he had and is still intact until now.

It is a who. Coz he talks here. He invented it with a purpose and it is said that it was to change the financing industry. Something like that.
My goal here is what did really push him to just have that thought to create something like "Bitcoin".

I mean, you must really have some deep reason to spend a lot of effort to something right? That is human nature.
You wont be spending a lot of time to something without any reason or goal or a target or maybe something that you didn't like to see again.

I am thinking it must be really something to do with banks. But what really happened there?

True. They are just going to let the 9th - 15th player showcase their skills.  Grin

I watched Thunders and Bucks play and it is all just the conversations of the commentators that I am looking forward. Somehow they are updating games on the other side and team's rosters.

It is just funny that George and the other stars of Oklahoma just find out that the stars of the Bucks are just sitting while George is already 19 minutes in.  Grin

And it still went to overtime with George at 26 points.  Grin
Maybe he just to heat up his body.  Grin
6730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are lazy on: October 10, 2018, 03:50:32 PM
I just wonder sometimes why hackers would not want to use their time and effort they spend to scam others on doing something meaningful and legit, to earn something worthwhile for themselves, except to rip others of their hard earned money.
Most times, what they even take illegally from others at the end is not used for anything meaningful.
Scammers should desist from this act, because karma is real.
Work and don't be lazy.

They want easy money and they found out they can do it by stealing. For me, they are not real men. Those who fight backstabbing people are just some clowns who will not feel those money that they have stolen.
It is better to work it out, then go out to the mall or have a vacation using your hard earned money. It is fulfillment that is unimaginable for every hard worker.

They got the brains, but did not use it for something better.
6731  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you sure that bitcoin will fall? on: October 10, 2018, 01:37:17 PM
If it is the basis of the value of bitcoin then we should create a movement here to get 100 address per user so that it aint going to fall anymore.
But that is not the case.

We need those who will really trust the technology and hope that they will HODL for a long time until bitcoin is fully grown.
It is at a young stage and there is no doubt about it.
A million is way too short.
6732  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trade Vs long trade on: October 09, 2018, 11:40:46 PM
You wont profit with daily trade so much by now.
It needs movement for you to create some difference with the price you bought it and how much you will sell it.
Better hold a coin that will last for a long time.
Bitcoin is a great choice.
I dont about what is happening with Ethereum but I also think it is a good way to start for little capital.
6733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 09, 2018, 09:33:26 PM
Looks like Kawhi and DeRozan are both enjoying the trade that had happened.
Seen some good plays on their pre season games and they are in good shape.

Rondo, Mcgee and Stephenson are also doing great plays.
But how about Stephenson who did not change his facial actions after one good play.
I just hope Lebron like this kind of actions from his team mates. Grin
6734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why People Choose Cryptocurrency? on: October 09, 2018, 07:38:48 PM
People choose cryptocurrency because it is very simple way to earn money without any investment in sector of airdrops and social media. It is latest and digital technology of 21st century. Nowadays maximum peoples like cashless technology. In cryptocurrency no limit of work.

What?! That's it for you?
You should be better than that.

It is the new technology. No questions about that. But not to earn money should be the reasoning behind why you should pick it.
It is a currency. And what does currencies to do? For example USD or Dinar or whatever in which country it is.
You use it to purchase something. With crypto currencies it will just be faster and safer.
Ain't that a better reason to like it?
6735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: goodbye fiat and USD. on: October 09, 2018, 06:40:22 PM
then give all the fiat do you have to me Grin
ups, sorry bro! all the fiat that I have has become bitcoin and ETH. I regret, because I was late knowing bitcoin, so, part of my company's salary, I always use it to buy bitcoin and ETH or other digital currencies.

Then he said this.  Grin

You are referring to your salary which is fiat. Ain't you going to have a problem when your salary comes and you cannot buy bitcoin anymore.  Grin

If it is samourai like what you said then it is a good step for them. Although this world is still relying on the traditional fiat. Remember, "traditional".
You must first kill that tradition to replace it with something new.

I am a bitcoin fan but this is how the real world goes and you cannot just change that in an instant.
6736  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Increased Number of Scammers on: October 09, 2018, 01:19:05 PM
They offer "so good to be true" investment returns so that is already questionable. Although they can still victim newbies.
I guess that should be our target. Make more people be opened to this kind scammers so that it will not be new to them when offered.
It is a good bait and looks inviting but when they have the idea already then it will somehow make them doubt it.
6737  Economy / Economics / Re: A global currency may be powered by the blockchain on: October 08, 2018, 09:13:23 PM
One World Government may be impossible but One world currency may be happening already.
Bitcoin is that currency.

I am still in doubt about that new world order. It would be the start of world war once again if forced.
People are not ready for that even if it takes a century.
We may not see it happen or will never happen in this world. It needs a deep change.

Just look at the UN now. Full of authorized member of each country and yet they all just lie about what they say.
To make their country look better than the other.
6738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptoworld is all encompassing on: October 08, 2018, 08:14:20 PM
Many might be in this space with the aim of making money, but do you know that there are so many things you can learn aside from just making money.
This is an advanced form of technology that so many things can be integrated into it. Such as;
Medicine, Pharmaceuticals, Health, Food and Agriculture, Programming, Environmental, Commerce, Trading, Manufacturing, Art and Culture and so on.
Despite having my own field of specialization, cryptocurrency and blockchain technology has really helped me to have idea about other fields.
Although money is good, but do not limit yourself to earning that alone.

That is true and you wont even feel that as you move on from ICO to ICO.
Me? I am just reading about the projects of ICO's and suddenly I have learned a lot already by reading each white paper.
Although I didnt invest with a lot of them, somehow I learned something from different industries.

The one that I am supporting now is the best for me and it got me thinking too. Maybe that is why others support different fields of industry. They prefer the one they love the most.
Though sometimes it could be a scam.
6739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 08, 2018, 06:10:01 PM
Lol aines Cheesy. In all honesty there is still too much injury prone stuff in NBA, for example this year they made standing under a shooter a foul and I think Flagarant ? So that's gone, the game is focusing more on offense than defense and if its to stop injuries that's good but they have banned hand checking years ago and that was not any injury prone play at all yet it is more offensive now because of it.

No one really defends each other that well anymore, players like Kawhi would have been the norm just 20 years ago yet in today's game he is regarded as the best perimeter defender out there. Not sure if its a good or bad thing but makes hell of an all star game Cheesy.

That hand check was taken out because their watchers are getting lower.
People are getting tired of the same game over and over again. The inside plays. From Duncan, Shaq and the big men until they retire the game.

Now they want to change the game and give opportunity to the outside plays and also to give viewers something new. So they took the hand check out. If I remember it very well, before the offensive player uses his arms too just so to give space for himself. MJ did this to Russell. But now, this is not needed. You are always free to make a shot. You just need to be an accurate shooter. Grin
6740  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be 20k again? Why or Why not? on: October 08, 2018, 03:07:59 PM
Have you ever thought of something like: How many people are already using crypto currencies? Does a large portion of the population knows about it?

Because the answer for your question might be there.
I do think it is the answer. Once people are adapting how the blockchain works then they will soon change the traditional way of doing transactions.
I did. So, I am basing it on my experience on how I got in with the crypto world.

That time where a large population of the whole world is using it, we will see a better value. Maybe not $20k. It could be better than that.

Or we could resurrect Nostradamus and ask him. Grin
