I don't know, in theory you are right, but all miners who have hardware in China will move to another country, they will not leave cryptos easy

I leave all on desktop wallets, but I'm thinking to buy a hardware wallet or try to make a safer way to protect my coins
I don't like paper wallets, but I have to admit that is a very good way to protect yourself against hackers

Unfortunatley here in Brazil the price of electricity is very high at the moment and I sold my GPUs
I only have a 1080ti and a RX 570, but not mining, the price is something like 0.20 USD Kw, no way to make profits
I'm just HODLing what I earned mining
I looked for solar energy, but again, the price in Brazil is ridiculous

I think every person not used to cryptos is like me in the past
This is completly normal, BTC goes up and then goes down, make your strategy and follow
Only good traders make money selling and buying daily, but this is hard to do, so relax...

People with 3600 coins probably are a not morons (at least in a economical view)
Unfortunately these things happen, you'll get used to if you follow the market, it's a strategy to sell high and buy low, because they have a high amount of coins

I learned a lot, I gain money, I lost sometimes, I use to had a lot of mining hardware and IMO the best thing is: follow the trend, try to accumulate BTC and always be patient
I have a lot of BTC, but I spent the entire 2018 (in bear market) away from the market, being patient and waiting to better times to come
Do your research, read news, follow topics, devs and you will probably know what to do

These "barriers" are only psychological guys
No one know exactly about the price, this is not a exatcly science
I see people talking about future, charts, analysis, methods and none of these matters, it's lucky if they are right
You have to look for trends, people are optmistic now, no reason to have a barrier at 8k for example

A lot of people lose a LOT of money on ICOs, and they will not risk again to lose money
The scammers always find new ways to gain money, but ICOs are dead
In 2017 you only need a good web site, with a lot of professionals showing their photos, a good whitepaper and a topic on Bitcointalk and boom, a lot of people believed in projects without any purpose, just to gain money of unaware people looking for the new ETH

Obrigado, eu vou conferir nesse seção também, antigamente era bem fácil achar, hoje parece estar mais difícil Sim, reduziram muito as campanhas que pagam em bitcoins e as campanhas que pagam em altcoins poucas valem a pena. Eu dificilmente arrisco entrar numa campanha de ICO. Poucas vingam. Acabei encontrando na seção que me indicou, muito obrigado Entrei na campanha que está na minha assinatura, parece ser muito boa, é antiga e dá pra ir subindo de rank para ganhar mais, além que de não é uma moeda qualquer, é um site de apostas, e isso o pessoal gosta muito, faz sucesso |

Risers eu tenho de monte também rs, no auge o pessoal vendia cada riser por R$ 120,00 mais ou menos, os meus eu tinha encomendado da China algumas semanas antes de começar a explodir a mineração aqui, ainda ganhei um trocado com isso Até hoje o ETH é o que mais compensa, ainda mais se a pessoa guardar porque com certeza o ETH vai subir junto com o BTC e a moeda é muito forte A energia elétrica aqui, estado de São Paulo, encareceu bem, tarifa amarela quase sempre, sem condições de minerar aqui |

I'm think the next ATH will be $ 30k
IMO to reach more than 30k we need more big investors and adoption of the big ones like google, facebook etc
In this case I think it's easy to reach $ 100k

Everyone try to find a good coin to mine, and no one will tell you which coin is
You have to look new coins, search the foruns, groups, follow devs etc
I used to have a strategy to mine: 75% of my GPUs were mining good coins like ETH, ZCash, Monero, and 25% were mining new coins at the launch to sell after some time

As long as alts don't properly take off we'll remain in low-profitability-land.
I'm finding it quite strange however that on the days where alts do pump, profitability hardly goes up. It's like hashpower comes out out of nowhere and immediately increases diff. There's probably so many automated mining bots out there that any little opportunity is squashed as it appears. We need a widespread alt bullmarket for this massive global hashpower to be absorbed.
Makes me think we might see all time highs again, but not in terms of daily mining profitability. Way too much hash out there.
asics sit and wait for a lot of alts to pump. So a flick of the switch and they turn on. Think of zec how much hash do they have z miners are like 50 cards. I'm not even talking about asic algos... But look at CN/r and variants, x16, C29, Beam... All that stuff is at the same profitability level as a week ago. It's like nothing even happened!  Raven did not pump in value much Grin did not pump in value much. Last I looked raven was not at 7 cents And grin was under 2 dollars. Are you waiting RVN to reach 1 dollar to sell?
