6741  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is Smerit and what is the point behind it and how do you Receive it? on: July 31, 2019, 01:55:56 PM
I don't understand the concept of Smerit or the incentive to receive or how to receive them or what reason there is to Send one to someone. I received 2 Smerit and Sent one to someone who helped Me is that the purpose bit confused about this?

Yes, you're exactly right. And you spent your sMerit exactly the way its supposed to be used. You need merits to rank up in the Bitcointalk world (and Activity). You will be a Jr Member any day now. Next rank after that is Member, Full Member, Senior Member, etc. (Jet Cash probably described it well in his... website about merit??? wow).

I've only received 1 smerit in my life.

6742  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] The Official Dirty Turds Poll - Which DT needs flushing first ??????????? on: July 31, 2019, 01:20:48 PM
Seems like your new trollthread is working - you're currently leading the troll poll: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5168331.0

Well, there's no better way to troll a troll poll than a poll made by a troll...

Bravo OP, really working hard to win my poll with this mountain of text I will never read. Kudos for your perseverance in... whatever it is you are trying to do.

Oh, also, your subject title needs more question marks. Not sure if its a question or if you're just trolling.

You guys, roach is slipping behind in votes to The One Above All in my official Troll Poll, please take a moment to cast your vote:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5168331.0

You only have 21 more days before the poll ends, so, better get on it.

Don't know what I was thinking leaving it open for so long. Oh well.
6744  Other / Off-topic / Re: Flat Earth on: July 31, 2019, 12:07:37 PM
^^^ Outer space is fake, the entire Copernican model needs to go in the trash.

We're covered by a steel dome also called the firmament and the Sun, Moon and stars are all small close projected lights within the dome; we're on a plain inside an artificially lit high-tech engineered structure.

If outer space is fake, what's on the other side of the dome? Sorry if I missed this one.

I could also ask, where did all the steel come from and why do tides happen, and a billion other questions, but the obvious answer is "Amazing God Powers." So just stick with the first question. I could use a good laugh. If the answer is "nothing" I might pee my pants.

He's admitted in the past that he got scammed by Black Arrow and because that's also a name of a rocket he's now trolling us by denying everything related to rockets and space and stuff.

Amazing how he never got over it. That's what makes a troll a troll I suppose.
6745  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: July 31, 2019, 11:57:05 AM
I really hope, You do not have a degree in math and logic.
If you state something false or nonsense, You have to counter with FACTS and arguments that make sense.
The fact You dislike the claim, does not mean it is false.

It is clear to me, some like You, do prefer to do politics, public relation to undermine my work or
promote their own vision.

You state there are grammatical errors in the tweets @realsatoshin. But You do not quote them.
There are a lot of tweets in that account. As there are at moments typo.

Hey, thanks for joining us.

I can perfectly understand that perhaps the white paper was professionally edited and proofread by a native English speaker, but its highly doubtful that every single post on this forum and email he ever sent was as well. Even non-public emails sent to the likes of Gavin Andresen contain perfect or near-perfect English.

Satoshi never capitalized "you" unless it was the first word in a sentence. He also put 2 spaces in between his sentences:

That means a lot coming from you, Hal.  Thanks.

I just pulled up this post as an example, his English is flawless, not one error or anything potentially confusing about it:

Piling every proof-of-work quorum system in the world into one dataset doesn't scale.

Bitcoin and BitDNS can be used separately.  Users shouldn't have to download all of both to use one or the other.  BitDNS users may not want to download everything the next several unrelated networks decide to pile in either.

The networks need to have separate fates.  BitDNS users might be completely liberal about adding any large data features since relatively few domain registrars are needed, while Bitcoin users might get increasingly tyrannical about limiting the size of the chain so it's easy for lots of users and small devices.

Fears about securely buying domains with Bitcoins are a red herring.  It's easy to trade Bitcoins for other non-repudiable commodities.

If you're still worried about it, it's cryptographically possible to make a risk free trade.  The two parties would set up transactions on both sides such that when they both sign the transactions, the second signer's signature triggers the release of both.  The second signer can't release one without releasing the other.

I don't have to point out all of your errors because they are consistent, speak for themselves, and can be independently verified by anybody.

Having said all that, at least we are in agreement that CSW is not Satoshi.

And by the way, you have magnificent hair. I have to admit I'm a bit jealous.

I have some concerns about the exchange LATOKEN, is it really the best option?

LATOKEN - the average exchange, for IEO it will suit just right.

Exchanges like Probit and Latoken it's really middles, on such platforms are not always good projects. Just I mean, a lot of projects don't know what to do after fail.
Latoken - not so bad, for young projects is great.

True. I participated in a couple of projects on LAToken and the experience has been good so far.
I read reviews about this exchange, there is a negative, but it is not enough, more positive.

Do you ever get tired of talking to yourself, or is it worth the money you are getting to bump scam projects?

The fact that you are here means there's a strong chance this project is a scam. I would definitely stay away from it if I was a potential investor. No way I would invest in a project that hired spambots as cheesy and brainless as you. Much like your "job" itself, its just dishonest laziness to hire you.

VOTING IS NOW OFFICIALLY OPEN!

HAVE AT IT!!

Remember, you only have 2 votes, so choose wisely!

Thule is funny but not a troll. Same thing with digaran. They are glorified whiners.

Give my vote to satoshi.

satoshi added! I'm leaving nominating open for a couple more hours in case if any huge revelations should surface.

Another eccentric troll I remembered was "Come from Above," but all their posts have been deleted. There are still posts in his From Above account... The guy was pretty psycho, may more have been legitimately crazy than a troll.
6749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴[ANN][IEO] TeleCoin - annonymous p2p cryptocurrency [LIVE NOW]🔴 on: July 30, 2019, 02:33:17 PM
Am I right to understand that the IEO will be held tomorrow?

That's right, but I don't see any information about discounts yet, will there be any?

My question is, if this project wasn't a scam, why would they hire you shitheads to bump their thread for them? That's what scammers do instead of trying to develop a real community. They are only trying to raise money for their ICO and couldn't give a shit about what happens afterward.
6750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] VIRTEX TOKEN New Deflanationary Token With 1% Burn Rates [AIRDROP] HOTTEST on: July 30, 2019, 02:05:20 PM
I'm not sure I've ever said this before but Piston Honda is on to something here.

...

Whenever VRX is transferred, 1% of the amount is burned. This decreases the value of VRX day by day, our codebase is modified from the (Bomb token) and similar to NUKE. 1% VRX will be Burn  every transactions.

...

With full encryption and a verifiable decenatralized blockchain, transfer Virtex with confidence and security. With a massive peer to peer network you are able to instantly transfer Virtex across the world with no boundaries and virtually zero fees.

I underlined the misspellings and logical inconsistencies for you.

So... you want $1 for 50 of an Ethereum token that does what exactly? There's nothing in your smart contract that suggests 1% of the amount sent will be "burned"... how do you plan to accomplish this? Oof, too many questions, not enough reason to take it seriously. Looks like an utter scam to me.

If a shooting happens, and your first response is "Oh, leftists are bad!!!", you're a douchebag.

I thought you were supposed to be a Christian but it turns out you're a callous psychopath who enjoys making light of and politicizing the slaughter of innocent people.

You need to get out and interact with actual people.

Your posts are a clear sign you are consuming entirely too much internet, and spend far too much time alone. Maybe you and TECSHARE should make plans to meet up at a gun convention some day, it would be good for the both of you to get some sunshine and some fresh air.

A Comparative Analysis of Bitcoin Forks

Quote
Summary
Additionally, although both BCH and BSV have larger maximum block sizes than BTC, they have not yet utilized that extra space. For the most part, BCH and BSV’s daily average block size has remained well below BTC’s 1MB average.

Both BSV and BCH have had blocks that have exceeded BTC’s maximum blocks. BSV blocks, in particular, are increasingly being filled by OP_RETURN transactions. BSV and BCH’s increased block size may become a factor if either gain adoption as a data storage blockchain. But it does not appear to currently be a factor in terms of being used as a medium of exchange.

I really would be curious to see the effects of spamming the BSV blockchain to fill 2 GB blocks for months on end, just to witness the effects of node centralization. It will be a reminder of why block size limitation is a good thing. It would grow at approximately 8.64 TB a month, granted each block is always full.

The biggest commercial hard drive in the world is currently 60 TB and costs $10,000 -- you would need to buy 2 of those a year to accommodate near-full 2 GB blocks.
6753  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 16 Shot, 3 Dead At California Garlic Festival; Shooter Still At Large on: July 30, 2019, 07:24:58 AM
He clearly isn't blaming them for the shooting, but drawing attention to the fact that these events are constantly used as cudgels to attempt to take away rights they don't agree with. Some would say the people trying to prevent law abiding citizens from defending themselves because they are fearful are complete assholes of human beings. California is one of the most restrictive states in the nation for firearm ownership. Its almost like these laws only disarm people who obey the law...

For your reference, the title of BADecker's thread is "16 Shot, 3 Dead At California Garlic Festival; Shooter Still At Large," which has nothing to do with "leftists." I'm not reading the ZeroHedge version of events because I could care less about what they have to say.

Nobody is trying to "prevent law abiding citizens from defending themselves," but that's a nice man made out of straw you built there.

Its not unreasonable to ask people not to bring firearms to a garlic festival.

What BADecker is actually trying to do is deflect away from the fact that this was another mass shooting by a disgruntled white supremacist who legally purchased a military-grade weapon.

It's almost like leftists want to restrict the availability of semi-automatic firearms in order to cut down on mass shootings... how dare they.

Plagiarism. It was this post:

Desktop wallet setup for 1X2 masternode .

After the MN is up and running, you need to configure the desktop wallet accordingly. Here are the steps for Windows Wallet:

1. Open the 1X2 Coin Desktop Wallet.
2. Go to RECEIVE and create a New Address: MN1
3. Send 1000 1X2 to MN1.
4. Wait for 15 confirmations.
5. Go to Tools -> "Debug console - Console"
6. Type the following command: masternode outputs
7. Go to ** Tools -> "Open Masternode Configuration File"
8 Add the following entry:

Alias Address Privkey TxHash Output_index

* Alias: MN1
* Address: VPS_IP:PORT
* Privkey: Masternode Private Key
* TxHash: First value from Step 6
* Output index: Second value from Step 6

9. Save and close the file.
10. Go to Masternode Tab. If you tab is not shown, please enable it from: Settings - Options - Wallet - Show Masternodes Tab
11. Click Update status to see your node. If it is not shown, close the wallet and start it again. Make sure the wallet is unlocked.
12. Open Debug Console and type:

startmasternode "alias" "0" "MN1"

Original (or at least one version that came before your post):

I understand you're just trying to give somebody helpful tips on how to set up a Masternode, but since you didn't properly credit the post you referenced, it is deemed plagiarism.

Edit: this post and the one below it, which is a more clear-cut example of plagiarism.

CSW caught lying again, this time about Bitcoin QT:

https://twitter.com/MyLegacyKit/status/1155976487385698306

LOL. Good catch. Just for clarification of why it appears to be a lie.

Craig Wright, from his most recent blog entry:

Quote
When I started the Bitcoin network, the Bitcoin-Qt client was designed to both mine and act as a wallet. As such, it was far from perfect as the alpha software, but many of the key peer aspects of cash such as in the form of IP-to-IP transactions that have been removed form an essential part in making it a cash system.

Gavin announcing the release of the QT wallet, more than 2.5 years later:

So the plan is for the next release of bitcoin to switch from the wxWidgets GUI we have now to the vastly nicer QT GUI that John Smith created.

I spent some time yesterday compiling Qt and bitcoin-qt, and some time this morning doing a very quick code review (executive summary: looks great!).

Actually, it is 4 dead at least. One of them is one of the shooters. See what the democrats and leftists are promoting?

This is incredibly distasteful bullshit. Some people were just murdered for no good reason and your reaction is to blame "democrats and leftists?" Try blaming the shooter, you complete asshole of a human being.

There is an objective: unfucken the protocol, returning it to the original version.

So the original version called for bitcoin acting as a file and data storage service?

Call for? No. Allow for? Yes.

Remember - permissionless.

kinda droopy looking...

6758  Economy / Gambling / Re: Game Protect Legal Case - Curacao License Scam on: July 30, 2019, 03:14:01 AM
The trust of who did I breach and how?

According to this brain wash story, I am the least trusted person on this forum without ever breached the trust of anyone?

You can be distrusted without having to "breach the trust" of someone. People get the general vibe that you are untrustworthy, and as seen with your handling of this customer's complaint, they are sometimes proved correct.

1) Believing that anyone dealing with Game Protect is at a high risk of losing money means not knowing!

2) Not knowing that anyone dealing with Game Protect is at a high risk of losing money confirms that this is not the case. Because if it was the case, some bitcointalk accounts surley would know it considering how much effort they have put in within the past 3,5 years to lie about and defame Game Protect! Cheesy

3) Therefore, (at least based on real world rules and logic) everyone who believes that anyone dealing with Game Protect is at a high risk of losing money confirms that this is not the case! Grin

Again, this is not how these words work. Just because somebody doesn't "know" something for sure doesn't mean its not true. You can believe something is true without knowing for sure that it is. That's why they are 2 different words. If you keep repeating this illogical premise as logical then it will just be another feather in your insanity cap.

I'm with hilarious: the trolls don't deserve the attention.

However, since I'm bored, I want to vote for someone anyway: satoshi! He created the future of money, then left without a trace. Without satoshi, none if the other trolls would even exist! If that isn't a Master Troll action, I don't know what is Cheesy

Can I vote as a Legendary Member? I can't easily access my account now, but I can confirm my vote from LoyceV in a few days if requested.

Sent from Austria.

Hmm... How do I know your account wasn't hacked just so somebody could cast a vote for satoshi?

I do wonder if satoshi dealt with trolls in his day. Like, if ever he was trying to articulate one of the finer points of Proof of Work difficulty and somebody kept shitposting about their balls.

Had to check out who this guy was as I'd never heard of him, and I see that he's sporting an ISIS flag avatar... Edgy!

New partly nominated list:

rebal15 1.5
alevlaslo 1.5
JorgeStolfi 1
digaran 1
King Scorpio 1
Quickseller 1
Anonymint 1
Phinnaeus Gage 1
Thule 1
satoshi 1

Sorry bud, newbs can't vote. If we were having a poll about Biggest Schizophrenics, he would definitely be on the list of nominees.

Second of all, Fomin-oilL is a hired shitposter that bumps threads for a living. He runs at least 30 different accounts, and they all get paid to bump scam threads.
