6741  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Steemit, is it worth it? on: October 23, 2017, 11:59:57 AM
It is absolutely worth it if you do it right. Good writing skills and general awareness will let you into the money making world of steemit.
You must have good vocabulary which will help you make good quality posts. Find good content to post which will help other users and give them your message well. If your posts are good it will automatically generate you good amount of audience to read your posts. Once that is done you will be getting good amount of upvotes which will give you a fare income. You don't have to worry about getting upvotes from whales if you have a large audience. If you are unable to all of this then there is another option to indulge in groups which upvote each other and groups with whale upvotes but I don't appreciate that since I believe in getting income genuinely rather than from such activities.
6742  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex bitcoin 24 deposit/withdrawal suspension transaction on: October 23, 2017, 11:27:49 AM
Why would you just send it like that? You do know that the amount you are transferring is quite big and in that case you should have checked the wallet before depositing any amount to it. They didn't send the notification but it was clearly written in the wallet list.
You can only HOPE that the Bittrex team is kind enough to credit the amount to your wallet after the suspension of wallet.
You can raise a ticket now that you have made a mistake to deposit the amount to your wallet while it was under suspension.
6743  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC--->USD day trading possible? on: October 23, 2017, 08:04:22 AM
BTC/USD day trading is only profitable when you hold a big amount of BTC and 1 BTC will do the thing.
But don't do it in wallets like coinbase or other, their charges are very high brother. Try it on exchanges like Bittrex.
But first make sure that you have your account verified as people are facing issues in verification. Once verified you can deposit your money and trade it to USDT (tether). You can earn good profits if you plan your trades well. Whenever you feel like withdrawing, withdraw it to your wallet from where you can get the money in your bank.
6744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why and Who ALLOW the Bitcoin Hardfork? on: October 23, 2017, 04:13:26 AM
Bitcoin is decentralized and that is why nobody can have a control over it. Almost anybody with good technical skills can make a clone of Bitcoin and fork it from the chain. But it's all about the value that matters the most. If the coin has some value it will rise up, if not nobody will ever buy it and it's value will be zero. So, forking for an individual is just a waste of time and when large groups of people and big investors fork the Bitcoin, the coin has some value because of the supporters. But I don't think any community will gain as much value as Bitcoin holds.
6745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex supporting Bitcoin Gold - will credit BTG on fork ! on: October 22, 2017, 02:57:47 PM
Bittrex is now supporting the fork and will credit equivalent amount of BTG to our wallets. Finally a good news for us.
Link to statement : https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002320451

I guess its time to move the BTC to Bittrex and wait for the fork to finish. Many people will hold their Bitcoins in Bittrex wallets as they are safer than other exchanges. They provided the BCH very quickly during Bitcoin Cash hard fork and similarly they will be giving Bitcoin Gold now.
So how many of you are moving your coins to Bittrex ?

When you move your btc to bitrexx because of the fraction you want to get out of the BCG, did you consider the part where you need to move your coins out. Maybe you have not read about their recent policy that no matter the amount involved, if you don't do your KYC, you are not withdrawing a satoshi of the amount you have there.

For me, I think I would gladly pass on their offer after all, they are not the only exchange site providing support for BCG their are several other listed on the BCG website which is a pool to pick from rather than be stuck with verification and KYC brouhaha of bittrex.
Yes it might be a trouble for those who have not verified their accounts yet but I am glad that I have verified my account with enhanced security.
So withdrawing the amount won't be a problem for me. Those who have account verification problems can hold their coins in a wallet with private key they own. I wouldn't recommend to put the coins in Yobit as they have a lot of scam coins and less secure than Bittrex.
6746  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is There any site like Bitconnect.co that offers low investment? on: October 22, 2017, 07:23:06 AM
I do agree to SlowDeath's reply that the website seems shady but at the same time it has paid many people their returns.
There are withdrawal proofs and videos about it on youtube as well and my friends are getting their daily returns timely too.
I have invested the minimum into it just to give it a try and it has not created any issues till date.

OP if you think that the minimum amount is a little too big for you then you should probably try to find somebody who is willing to invest in the scheme. You both then can put 50-50 of the amount and then share the returns accordingly. Obviously the profit/loss would be half but it will be a good deal. Just try to find the right person and make sure he is trust worthy.
6747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN GOLD VS SEGWIT 2X on: October 22, 2017, 07:06:37 AM
To be honest, forks are just adding a danger to Bitcoin as the number of fork increases, the miners mining BTC decreases.
It's quiet obvious because the people who intend to fork BTC obviously want to split away and mine their own coin.
So miners on the BTC side decreases which later on becomes a threat to BTC as the transaction fees will increase.
What do you guys think on this issue ?
6748  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fork - new coin? on: October 22, 2017, 06:58:41 AM
I need to move some BTC around the 1st or 2nd.

Is there a decent guide to split my coins as fast and safely as possible?  Is there a particular wallet that is gonna be best for this process?
You can keep your coins in a wallet which supports the BTG and has the ability to export the private key. If you have the private key to your wallet you will be eligible to claim the free coins after the fork. You can also keep your coins on exchanges like Bittrex and Yobit as they are supporting the BTG fork and they will be giving equivalent amount of BTG to BTC holders. I would strongly recommend you to move your coins to Bittrex as it is safer than other options and you will be able to trade the BTG as soon as you get it. This will give you an advantage to make quick decisions whether to sell or not while others will be still waiting for their coins to arrive.

6750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins to buy before the fork? on: October 21, 2017, 04:58:06 PM
Almost all the Altcoins are down right now due to the increase in Bitcoin's price and the fork. So we can say that most of the coins are undervalued at this time and it will be a good deal of investment to put your money into Alts now. You must invest your money into potential coins as they will be the first ones to increase in price after the fork. Coins like ETH, NEO, OMG, LTC, XRP etc... are some good potential coins which might increase quickly in price when the fork is done. I suggest you to invest 75% into Alts and keep 25% for future.
6751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins are dying on: October 21, 2017, 04:50:38 PM
It's quite obvious to see Altcoins' orices dropping as the fork is near and most of them are awaiting for the airdrops of BTG.
Most of the people i know have sold their Altcoins to receive the free coins. That is the main reason why Altcoins have dropped.
The other reason is the increasing price of Bitcoin which has implemented a decline in Alts price making it drop gradually over the few days.
The Altcoins will rise after the fork when people will sell their BTC and invest in Alts. So don't worry and be patient.
6752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 3 cryptocurrencies on: October 21, 2017, 12:53:05 PM
If you have got that much amount of BTC then you should probably just keep it as it is in a secure wallet. Bitcoin is without any doubt the top most used crytpo currency which gives it so many reasons to increase in price further more. If you want to get a good return then you should hold the BTC as it is. If you want to invest the BTC into altcoins in order to get more BTC then you should try investing in ETH, NEO and OMG as they are pretty good coins to get back a good return. Invest some amount in them and hold it for few years.

Hello Decoded,
According to the post count my posts are 30 but if you count it datewise i had made 32 posts this week out of which 1 you have denied.
2 of my earlier posts were deleted without being notified. So it is possible that you make the post count as 30 and update the spreadsheet ?
6755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Current Bitcoin price already priced in Bitcoin gold free airdrop? on: October 19, 2017, 04:31:01 AM
The price of BTC should be somewhere near $6000 during the fork. After the fork the price will surely decline.
People are saying that the money will rise towards the altcoins and I think the same too but at the same time there are good chances that the altcoins will go down together with BTC as the history has shown as BTC takes the altcoins down with itslef. So there is nothing we could say now what is going to happen with the prices after the fork. Goosebumps !
6756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of altcoins? on: October 19, 2017, 04:26:12 AM
I thing that coins with good projects and good dev team will survive.
And only 30% of them will be success and profitable!
Exactly ! There is no future unless the present is good. BTC itself was a cheap asset once but since the popularity rose among the people it flourished and came out very well. Altcoins are a similar case, if the coin has good potential and if it gets enough fame then it will surely rise well in the future. Not all coins can come out well and that is the reason why we should look twice before we invest in a particular coin.
6757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Accidentaly sent LTC to online BTC wallet on: October 19, 2017, 04:00:39 AM
The transaction says that the coins were split up into two addresses
378yFsGsovDUM84QpiuaFPDXx7RYnYDbWD - not a  valid adress
LXrnXbpYoTk9gu1Hwafqh4bBZG6YhfTfHR - Although this address received the funds the final balance shows 0
This means that all your funds have been lost. There is nothing much you could do about it.
Sorry for your loss but that's a stupid thing you have done there. Be careful the next time and learn from your mistakes.
6758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on re-launching ICOs? on: October 18, 2017, 06:05:56 AM
With so much of ICOs coming everyday and tokens generated everyday the market is crowded with lots of ShitICOs .
It has been difficult for good ICOs to take a stand in the market because all what people want is to gain money rather than a good coin to emerge in the market. Investors are investing in ICOs just so that they can make more money out of it and not because they actually believe in the particular projects. I am not accusing anybody but I have seen many ShitICOs raising more money than the actual good projects.
If the ICO is actually good then giving it an another chance won't be a bad idea. They could just announce it as a phase 2 of the same ICO but there should be a little more development on it than the one it had before.
6759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Russia will begin regulating cryptocurrency mining on: October 18, 2017, 06:00:25 AM
First they announce a ban and then they regulate it. That's the strategy countries like China had been doing.
Anyways, a regulation is better than a ban because there will at least be movement in the market than no movement at all.
Regulation in crypto currency mining may cause trouble to miners as mining itself takes so much of discomfort and regulation above it will just difficulties to it. The time has come when Crypto market is making sharp turns. Better be careful on each step.
6760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When bitcoin price goes up,altcoins prices goes up too? on: October 18, 2017, 05:53:17 AM
The answer is no. They are indirectly proportional to each other and when one goes up other goes down and vice versa. Why such ambiguity!? Well, it's simple, when this is happening people are actually trading alts with bitcoin on mass scale leading to pumping of bitcoin and thus making it fat over the time. If there is problem with bitcoin then surely people will start to dump bitcoin and out the thing into favourite altcoin making it more fat. The whole thing works like that. :-)

Although the fact you stated above is most probably true, it is not always the same. There are also times when I have seen Bitcoin and Altcoins increase at the same time and vice versa. So it is not absolute indirectly proportional but co-relational. There are some factors that derive the relation between Bitcoin and Altcoin and depends on the market situation whether the Altcoins will increase or decrease according to the Bitcoin fluctuations.
