6761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoin is "a fair share"? on: May 27, 2019, 04:35:49 PM
Yes, it's scarce, no doubt
But the most important fact that makes BTC worthing something, is our belief
If anyone lose interest in BTC, and nobody change fiat money to BTC, BTC will value 0
6762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nvidia 1060 3GB - Which Coin? on: May 27, 2019, 04:25:40 PM
How if you try this, you can continue to mining ethereum but auto-convert the coin to ravencoin so you can get more rewards than you mining ravencoin directly.
Or you can buy more GPU to install on your computer, and you can get more hash power to mining Grin
Besides whattomine, you can try to visit on this website

He can't mine ETH with his card, it's a 1060 3GB so he switched to another coin to continue mining

6763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to treat the current currency market? on: May 27, 2019, 02:17:45 PM
I have my strategy and I stick to it
I already bought the coins, I have my portfolio of 8 coins, but most of my amount is BTC and ETH
At the moment I'm just watching the market, no actions required

Maybe when BTC hits 10k I'll need to adjust something, but I'll follow the trend
6764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining ETH is now no profit on: May 27, 2019, 01:31:13 PM
I was just wondering why there are so many threads like this that purportedly discourage mining on a particular coin especially with ETH on the basis of profitablity  when in fact it has a decent hash power which only means that more miners are mining on the network. I hope some of those threads was not meant to discourage or eliminate competition, rather we must encourage everyone to mine on a particular network to make it more stronger thus safeguarding all our interest in it. Imho.

Every day big miners add more cards to their companies, it's not small miners adding hashpower
6765  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Next Bull Run on: May 27, 2019, 12:41:46 PM
As I've been saying, BTC will probably hit 10k in a short period of time, but there always correction...remember that
6766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone mining PIRL here on: May 27, 2019, 12:28:35 PM
First of all, what's your hashrate in ethash?

To answer and help you, it's important to know the size of your farm, if you have only a couple of cards, maybe it's not interesting to change to ETH
6767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETC / Ethereum Classic is testing a change of its mining algo on: May 27, 2019, 12:25:09 PM
Algo for FPGA. This will hurt gpu mining even more by moving gpu miners off that coin onto something else.

But it takes time to make bitstreams to FPGA or to create Asics, they are doing this to prevent 51% atacks, they will need the community to achieve this, not only big miners
6768  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Member-Hero Accepted) (New) on: May 27, 2019, 12:09:59 PM
Thanks for another payment Hhampuz  Grin
6769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETC / Ethereum Classic is testing a change of its mining algo on: May 27, 2019, 12:07:25 PM
Great news, mining with CPU will be profitable again, no Asics for a period of time, I'll jump in ETC for sure  Grin
ETC is a big coin and other devs will be looking to see what is going to happen with this change of algo, let's see how can we mine
6770  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin jump to 8500USD, will it hit 10k this week on: May 27, 2019, 12:10:12 AM
I don´t like when BTC reaches a higher price in such short time, it's better to rise in a more organic way, slowly
But's ok, I bought my BTC and I'm holding
6771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nvidia 1060 3GB - Which Coin? on: May 26, 2019, 11:49:33 PM
Try Whattomine.com
It's your best friend to help you estimate the earnings
You have RVN, ETC, GRIN
If you have only 1 card to mine, it's interesting to keep mining RVN, you earn more coins, if you mine some other coin like ETC for example, you will have to wait a long to earn something worthing to withdraw
6772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never Give up in crypto (my experience) on: May 26, 2019, 08:27:40 PM
It's seems easy to gain a lot of money in cryptos because you always heard someone who bought BTC at 100 USD and sold at 19000 and become rich, but most people just sold before and not became rich
You have to study the market, do a lot of research, be active here in BitCoinTalk and minimize the risks
6773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Decent Exchanges? on: May 26, 2019, 08:20:46 PM
I think Binance is the best exchange, they did very well with the hack, but every exchange is dangerous to have coins for a long period of time
You could try Kucoin, they seem very secure and realiable
6774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your thoughts on Facebook's GlobalCoin on: May 26, 2019, 01:26:56 PM
As I said before, I don´t know what to think for now
It's a crypto, but not decentralized, I don´t see why they need a crypto, and most important, I don´t like facebook policy, it's totally against what we guys trust here in a crypto community
6775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBC - Facebook to launch Globalcoin in 2020 on: May 25, 2019, 09:18:07 PM
I don´t know what to think
It's a coin, but not decentralized, I don´t like facebook and not agree with their policy
I can´t see the reason to launch this coin, what kind of problem do they want to solve?
6776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Better than nicehash ??... on: May 25, 2019, 05:23:35 PM
Always better to find a good coin to mine intead of any automatic coin miner
If you undertand what they do, you will see it's not so smart to use these miners

There are good options like RVN, Grin and even ETH to mine with 1080ti
6777  Local / Brasil / Re: NEGOCIECOINS FALINDO? on: May 25, 2019, 04:10:55 PM

6778  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is very likely going to break $9000 in the next few days. on: May 24, 2019, 10:06:01 PM
Totally possible, I don't se anything in the path of the 9k, but to reach and sustain the mark of 10k will be a "problem"
If good news continue to coming to BTC, we are good to reach some impressive levels until the end of the year
6779  Local / Brasil / Re: NEGOCIECOINS FALINDO? on: May 24, 2019, 10:02:35 PM
"Saques duplos"

6780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 61-year Old Chinese Grandma Convicted For Stealing Electricity To Mine Bitcoin on: May 24, 2019, 09:59:06 PM
And it happened in China, where electricity is cheaper than the rest of the world
Here in Brazil we have a lot of people who steals electricity and this affects the price of energy we pay, it's a shame
Stealing electricity is not a new thing as you can see those kind of activities in many third world countries, but are the people in Brazil stealing electricity for mining, if that is the case i will be surprised  Shocked.
I am not convinced that an old grandma understands how bitcoin mining works and she stole the electricity to mine bitcoin which is really weired, may be someone did that and she was caught instead. I am not a person who believes every media story and that is the reason i am skeptical about this news.

Yes bro, I live in Brazil and we have some local foruns to discuss about games, computers and cryptos in general, and there is a lot of people who steals electricity for mining
In Brazil we have some poor places where people live and most of all are controlled by criminals, and they steal energy, tv, water, internet...
