The hashrate droping makes it easier for someone to attack the netwok. I don't know how accurate https://dogechain.info is, but it's stats show that the major multipools have the biggest hashrate. This doesn't seem reassuring to me at all. |

I don't think that a web gambling website has something to earn by faking this number. It could only make them look bad in the eyes of people if they found out. And it's not even that hard to do so. Being provably fair sounds more importand to me. |

Isn't it 51% of the hashing power can create a "real" fork in the blockchain, not a simple 51% of the nodes? Otherwise people would create cheap "spam nodes" and take over the network. Scrypt-n asics? Are you serious? This algo was specifically made to protect those coins from asic. Many developers have officialy came out to say that in case someone developes an asic for the algo they are going to hard fork the network wih the communitie's consent.
