6781  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Decentralized or centralized exchange? on: October 16, 2017, 04:55:12 PM
Which do you prefer, centralized or decentralized exchanges,

decentralized exchanges

why?

in a decentralized exchange there are no third parties to maintain their funds, trades occur directly between users. is an automated process.

The biggest advantage of this, at least I think, is that people are not required to disclose their personal data to anyone

I would have the same choice too which I do prefer decentralized exchange Ex. Etherdelta. I do really love the site when it comes on trading Erc20 tokens since you can trade it up without the need on giving informations and doesn't have any restrictions or limitations since theres no 3rd party involved which would dictate or require such thing. This is really the biggest advantage compared into a centralized one.The thing I do have on trading on ED is that their graphics is too heavy for it to load for too long and sometimes transactions are too delay even you do put sufficient or high gas but well it does depend on network congestion.
6782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Korea To Tax Bitcoin Use on: October 16, 2017, 04:04:28 PM
South Korea is preparing to tax bitcoin use after the cryptocurrency’s trading volume skyrocketed past that of Kosdaq.
Death and taxes ... it seems that even bitcoins can't escape that Smiley
They are making a step already regarding on taxation on those services or things which are related on bitcoin earning. When we do talk about direct tax on it then its not possible that's why they would regulated instead into those services which they can able to see that they can sip out taxes on it which one is on trading exchanges which they can really impose or implement deductions on each trader to pay taxes on each profit that they would made. They can already see that its booming up and we are already talking huge money on here and its not good for their eyes to pass by those possible taxes that they would able to get.
6783  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Research Shows Half a Billion People Are Mining Cryptocurrencies Without Knowing on: October 16, 2017, 02:41:38 PM
This is something that is not only ethical but I see as invasion of privacy but there is nothing anyone can do about it because of this site are essential to be visited on a daily basis. I think I also need to appreciate frebitco.in because its from there I first heard about something like this and for the fact that they are making it open to people, makes it worth commending all the same time. I wish this can be corrected and people are even been compensated for the use of their resources.
Yes brother, freebitco.in is indeed quite appreciable for their efforts. By making such a facility available for users through which users could mine crytpocurrency through browsers they are not just providing them an efficient way for mining but also they are creating an awareness of such program in the world. The hackers who create such programs and mine cryptos on others browsers must surely be geniuses. I think security experts must make some programs which would stop these type of activities to take place.
They are indeed genius since they do make this thing possible and been scattered throughout the world without knowing or awareness on most people who do make use of the site. With this kind of hidden operation they are really making some serious cash on this one.Thinking off how many billion people would really make use or visit those sites and without knowing we are already mining for them. Its unfair which we are just being used as their workhorse for them to make money.I don't know what would be the best solution on this one and hoepfuly someone could able to stop this thing.
6784  Economy / Securities / Re: How do you decide which ICO to invest in? on: October 15, 2017, 09:04:15 PM
There are a lot of ICOs happening around. What things do you check before investing priority-wise?

When I do decide to make investments,I do the ff:

•Check their White Paper
•Roadmap
•Developers Transparency (Experience and Skills)
•Real life contribution
•Low supply
•Active marketing and updates

These are the things which my eyes are set in.

6785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Telegram channels can pump a coin by 50%-200%... on: October 15, 2017, 07:06:08 PM
I ran into couple of this channels on Telegram (it's an encrypted messaging software like whatsapp)
I joined a couple of them after a friend advised me and said there are channel who are giving signals on specific coins, and making them jump by hundreds of percentage in a few minutes,
how is this possible? If it's that easy to make profits on those altcoins why doesn't everybody doing it?
Just as an exemple, one of them is @t.me/whaletank , most promising so far.
Can someone recommend me on few others to check out? I don't even know where i can search for more of this kind of groups, but I'm sure there are more..
I would like to join any kind of a large group with 1000+ people on it, I find it the best way to make profits right now when the whole market just keep crashing.
You do pertain on telegram pump and dump group.I would say that joining one of these groups would really be risky since you wont know if you did able to get in on the right time. The earlier the better but its not an assurance because the owner of such group would tell that they would pump out a certain coin and then you decide to bought then suddenly they dump. What would you do? For sure you would cry specially when you do go all in because of your own greediness.I would say that they are not legit but most of them are just a waste of time or bogus for me.
6786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or BCC or BTG on: October 15, 2017, 06:25:22 PM
why we need three different version of bitcoin ??
We don't really need at all and also theres only on Bitcoin and those coins who are being created by fork is just an another altcoin in the market which do somehow show resemblance on bitcoin itself but talking on the interest and views of crypto people their loyalty would really still be on bitcoin itself and those other two coins would really be just good on money making and I don't see anything that it would really compete with its father  Cool
6787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: EBTC dead ? on: October 14, 2017, 07:23:00 PM
Ebtc the Developer to leave the boat?^^ ?

https://www.ebtc.io/
Just as expected and not really a surprising thing.Devs bag is full already together with the soaring up high on bitcoins price then expect anyone could really play safe. For those investors for sure they would cry now and losing their money and for those people who did able to get money on airdrop just really did the right thing on selling their coins on earlier times which the price is being hyped up. I have nothing to expect on this kind of coin and I somehow anticipated this thing just like on most shitcoins out there.
6788  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: October 14, 2017, 04:11:37 PM
I lost all my money these days for a scammer Sad

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2251670.0;all
That’s so sad! These scammers are found everywhere these days and are very badly looting people worldwide. It is highly difficult to differentiate scammers from the real and concerned companies or people. You need to be very careful next time before taking any decision or dealing with someone monetarily that too in the digital world. Take help from your friends etc. who are involved in crypto currency as well.
The thing we should put in our mind is that we should not trust people online and you should only trust "Yourself" when it comes on doing transaction and also you should really be aware on suspicious thing which is commonly those offers that are too good to be true.People do scam other people because they do really know the main weakness of people is "Greed" which they do really make use of this thing to deceive people specially on newbies which is commonly being targeted on this fierce online world.
6789  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I need your help or advice about exchange on: October 14, 2017, 03:14:52 PM
as the title says, I need your help or advice

bittrex is blocking members account:

My Bittrex account has been disabled.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=463202.msg22983969#msg22983969

I immediately removed all my funds from bittrex, but what other exchange can I use?

I need some exchange that is not equal to poloniex, bittrex or yobit.

I need a professional exchange, that answer support tickets.
I do have an experience which my account was blocked on Bittrex but I did actually re-access it when I complained into their support. It would really takes sometime for them to respond which do really suck because they aren't like that back into those earlier of their operation. You know what on the reasons why they do block accounts? They said if an account did log-in on other IP using Proxy or any VPN will surely put you into these situation which I actually admit that I did do such thing which I accidentally logged in using VPN.I have said regarding on the situation and I did access again my account luckily since theres quiet huge funds in there.Besides other alternative if you do really seek then better go on Cryptopia.
6790  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashflare screwed us up. on: October 14, 2017, 02:26:22 PM
I invested $400 and my per their calculation the total amount i will get at the end of the year is $343.28
which means i will not even get my money back.

These people have really scam me.

screw them. Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

And I'm guessing that calculation is based on the current mining difficulty. I'm gonna warn you it's gonna be even lower than that.
True,it would really be possible to be lower than that this is why I do keep saying that these cloud minings are profitable in long term and now they do start to cut the contract on 1 year time. Back in the past these kind of investment would really ROI you up on 6 months time as far as I remember and as you calculated on 1 year time you are still on negative.? Wtf. I don't know why people do still entrust their money on these investment sites without even knowing if they would be profitable or not at the end of the contract.
6791  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ▁ ▂ ▄ ▅ ▆ Cloudmining 101 (ponzi risk assessment) ▆ ▅ ▄ ▂ ▁ on: October 13, 2017, 10:28:49 PM
some people recommended genesis mining independently from each other another one likes hashflare better because he said  they also have operations in Europe and they have some option for cashout anytime.

It's near impossible nowadays to reach ROI with genesis mining, and hashflare is no better since they recently made the switch to change their lifetime contracts to yearly contracts...  Undecided
They would really do such thing sooner or later because they would kill their business if they would offer lifetime contracts and somehow this kind of promotion do really adds up on the hype which people put into their minds that they can able to make money forever without doing nothing.Just invest and forget and you do receive daily profits. They would really make a limit and if not then they cant sustain to give more than on ROI into those investors. This is quiet a wise move from them and that's why cloud mining isn't really profitable at all.
6792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: send money to someone by mistake on: October 13, 2017, 10:03:15 PM
Have you ever send money to someone by mistake ? ever happened with you ?

Like i am going to send some money to my friend via blockch but mistakenly i send to someone ( a person you don't know )
Ive almost done that thing but luckily I have rechecked the address everytime when I do make some transfers and this is really my habit ever since which I do make some review either on both amount and on the address. There are times I do paste not correct address either its being added up by some character or decreased some.Luckily I didn't able to press that send button which would really be a cause of loss for sure. This is why its really advisable to make review anytime because there are instances that we do really make mistakes specially when we are on a hurry.
6793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making an ICO as successful as possible.. on: October 13, 2017, 09:38:26 PM
Some ICO are not Successful as what they are Expecting why?
Because some of it Doesn't reach Their Expected amount of The ICO.
There Are also reasons why some campaign managers got negative trust because of some signature campaign, They say that paydays will be paid for the exact date that they have given.
and some ICO's Got reported, Reason of Unsuccessful business

There are really some manager who got red trust on this one but for those who did scam only but regarding on their performance on grading then I don't see that they do deserve neg trust. ICO would really depend on how its being marketed. There are only two things to happen on which the project would get attention or not this is why marketing would really play a crucial role on projects success. When we do talk about bounty. All things are included on it,signature, social media, youtube, translations, article writing.

Price is 0.00002 / GH

They are also giving trials of 7days with 10,000.00 GH/s

Has anyone used them already ? How is it like I'm Keen to try but what do u guys recommend for a 19 Y.O kid ? Which doesn't has much fund
^^ That link above do really help and I do really tend to post the same link but since it was given already then I would rather put some advice since your 19 years old still better to keep away on these kind of sites which do offer GH supposed into these cloud mining sites which are totally Ponzi scheme scam sites which would eventually ran off later on and wont pay you up.If you do try to see on similar sites into these days for sure you will still find some on this kind which should really be avoided if you don't really like to be scam and lost up your precious bitcoin.
6795  Economy / Securities / Re: Any Safe 1.5% Monthly? on: October 13, 2017, 03:57:45 PM
Safe and 1.5% monthly do not belong together
I agree. 1.5% monthly is a massive rate. Any rate like that is likely to be a ponzi scam. I wouldn't participate in any such scheme. However, I would trade Bitcoin rather than invest. Bitcoin has a volatile price which is not the best for long-term investing.

If you want to invest, invest in gold, shares...etc.

Investments doesn't last long and all of them will just turn to hyip in the end. Some of them lasts more than a year but after that you'll feel that something is not right. I prefer investing and holding btc.

That's why its better to invest on banks if we are just looking for small returns and it is safer to us, and if he cannot take to wait for the bank return then he must go on crypto tradings since he can actually earn huge returns eventhough he is just trading on short term. But if he can't take the risk of the two option I suggest then he can go with your suggestion that to hold his btc to earn by staking.
I would rather hold up my bitcoin than on putting my funds on banks. Its really safe and secure if you do put your money on those banks but thinking off that they do only offer 1-2% annual growth. What the heck? You can simply just gained that interest on bitcoin holding in a matter of days depending on the situation of price movement but yet the possibilities of losing money is really big too but yet if you can handle and accept the risk then this would be the best choice on earning possible interest monthly and besides nothing on this world is safe when it comes to investments.
Who are telling that bank is not same here in my country there are banks are safe if you hold lots amount of money in the bank there are still guaranteed that you can be still get them back once bank was holdup or bankrupt they can be still pay you back what you invest or save because its a legal business.. here in my country unlike bitcoin that there is no bank handle it because its decentralized anytime the risk is high if the price of bitcoin was drop and we are weak hands we can sell them and gain loses..
So they are not both same but banks are safe base on my own overview and bitcoin is risky in terms of saving it for a long time because we do not know if when bitcoin could be down or could increase more since bitcoin is unpredictable and volatile we can not know how long our bitcoin can gaining profit and safe while saving them ..

If you do try to read up again my statement or sentence I didn't say that banks or bitcoin are the same when it comes on possible income and in terms of storage. As I have said above and do compare regarding on their possible interest on a short period of time I would say bitcoin does really have the edge but when it comes on security of funds and stability I would really still prefer banks.I do see bitcoin as an another opportunity to make money this is why I do choose this over storing your savings in banks which would really give small interest.I know the risk on bitcoin and I'm ready on it.

6797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who has been guilty of this? on: October 12, 2017, 08:38:06 PM
tsk tsk, hard to know whats fraudulent these days
When you tried to see on the announcement section on this forum where there are lots of ICO been launched which would really give a tough job for us to pinpoint which is true and which is a complete fraud.Checking on the article I would say this is really happening and this is true on where anyone just can make a catchy name, get their hands dirty and put some efforts regarding on the visual or designs/template so that it would be more convincing.Talking on adjusting the invest counter is really possible that is why I do really check out the Funds address of a certain ICO because I can really find out if they do try to manipulate or not.
6798  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits all-time high on: October 12, 2017, 06:20:49 PM
Time to invest? Bitcoin tops the $5,000 mark
In short trading? No its not the best time to buy bitcoin on its peak price or hyped price knowing that the cause of such increase because on the upcoming bitcoin gold event but if you do buy bitcoins for the sake of free bitcoin gold then its still possible but would be somehow risky if you wont able to get out on the high price because I do really have a doubt that the price will surely dip again once bitcoin gold have been accumulated by its users but if we do talk for long term then anytime would be a best buy considering price is still young.
6799  Economy / Securities / Re: Looking for investors on: October 11, 2017, 06:32:02 PM
Your site is pure fake. First, BTC isn't pricing $4200, second, it's not "the world's first bitcoin saving site which credits the interest on your available total balance on daily basis".

Many icons on your site are just pictures and don't lead us to anywhere (FB, G+, Our Location, Interest calculator...). Your location isn't linked to Google Maps or any other similar service.

You are offering 0.1% profit daily over our balance. But even if it was 0.001% daily I would think it's too risky because your site doesn't inspire any confidence.
Why would use their service since we can able to have interest more than on their offering knowing on bitcoins price movement. If its a wallet which do give interest on just storing your coins then its non-sense and this is just indeed a fraud and untrustworthy at all and as you said their social media accounts cant really be clicked which really a shady thing because they are not transparent on their identity. For sure no one would fall into this trap obvious scam site from the domain name itself.I do have already doubts on it.
6800  Economy / Economics / Re: Mental barrier stops from buying BTC on: October 11, 2017, 04:24:40 PM

Every individual has its own decision making.  When it comes to bitcoin, people would think of possible effect if they buy or not.  We are sometimes scared of it.  Theresa always a psychological effect to all of us

Indeed the psychology plays a great role in the investment whether it's simple or big or anything miscellaneous. But it always decides the faith if we are not strong enough to deal with it. I can surely say this because being in the crypto since long time i have myself made very little moves in the long term while investing into bitcoin because I always relied on the emotional decisions. Those are not good but sometimes rarely they are important too. So always make investment which you think is worth doing and profitable. Just making investment  against the mind is also not good because you will be always in ambiguity whether you made mistake or you made right decision.

These emotions do normally pop out everytime we do engage into a particular thing specially when we do know that it involves money. Our mind do really easily react on it and together with the emotion would affect our decisions because its normal that we do feel of fear on losing money which would really either have doubts on our actions specially on trading or investing into bitcoin itself but yet these kind of doubts or mental barrier would be possibly be controlled specially when we are already experienced on any situations we do face already.
