681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Most ICO don't show the investment wallet address? on: July 13, 2018, 06:09:20 AM
Yes, they should be able to show every investment wallet however large in number it may be. It would certainly increase the transparency and hence the involvement of investors. Investors should too focus only on those transparent ICOs boycotting suspicious ones.
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jiyo token increased 5000% in just a minute on: July 12, 2018, 03:12:25 PM
It was the glitch from the side of price reference.
The coin had a 5:1 swap i.e. everyone holding 1 token got 0.2 tokens and hence the price rise and virtual 5000% rise but in real they were two different coins. One older Jiyo and one newer with higher price.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoin be as important as Bitcoin? on: July 12, 2018, 03:09:14 PM
Altcoins would be as important but it would take time.
Cryptocurrencies is still a new thing to the world and their applications sectors and indefinite at the moment only halted by the speed of adaption as by nature the world resists any sudden change. Bitcoin is the mother of all but she can't always lead the new emerging technologies.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Opera browser to have built-in ETH, ETH tokens and ETH collectibles wallet on: July 11, 2018, 09:20:11 AM
Opera to bring crypto to masses and increase the overall security for using and holding cryptos has decided to have built in multicurrency wallet.
The current Opera beta version support Ethereum, ERC-20 tokens and ERC-721 collectibles.
“Having a Crypto Wallet in the browser brings the cash experience to the world of online payments,” said Charles Hamel, Product Lead of Opera Crypto. “Paying with the Crypto Wallet is like sending digital cash straight from your phone, and we’ve just made it easier. This opens up new possibilities for merchants and content creators alike.”
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trade forex or Trade coin? on: July 11, 2018, 09:13:40 AM
Hi everybody. Forex market and Coin market are exchange very active.
Now, Should Trade forex or Trade coin?

Forex is much more predictable and the price change can be analyzed more than in crypto. But the profit of such trade are very low as most of the profit is shared with the forex operator.
Crypto is an open forex. Though the price are volatile, the profit are also limitless.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TUSD or USDT? on: July 11, 2018, 09:11:05 AM
They are an important tool for day traders. Easy exchange to a more stable token by price would enable maximum profit.
Crypto are volatile and hence can led to large rise or fall.
Tether is a more accepted form as many of exchanges support it. I do use them a lot but never to witdraw just to make sure I don't have larges losses on bearish market.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whitepaper? Do you really believe 100% in any projects whitepaper?. on: July 11, 2018, 08:07:31 AM
Have really been thinking this for a quite a while now, those whitepaper of any projects really tells us what the project all about. Are they transparent enough to have every project goals in the whitepaper. A lots of projects are out there with nice whitepaper but they eventually failed.  How come, what causes the failure?

Scam most a times looks like Legit. White paper can be written by any Technical Marketer, One shouldn't depend on mere written words. it should not be seen as a prove of legitimacy, or advice.

This is definitely true but a poor whitepaper is also a definite proof of a scam ICO.
Whitepaper gives a general concept of how the token works but deciding how feasible and possible it is is upto the investors themselves.
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Merit system -> Selling merit now. What do you think? on: July 10, 2018, 01:38:21 PM
Don't get frustrated. Keep the quality of your post and be active. Getting merit may be difficult but isn't impossible.
As getting merit is rare, the merit requirements too should be decreased in order to facilitate a rank rise.
5 merit for member, 15 for full member, 30 for senior and so on would be a more practical measure.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward? on: July 09, 2018, 04:21:40 AM
It's perfectly normal at current scenario.
Every ICOs are increasing their issuance time period from the initial 1 month to over a year.
Investors are just not interested in any random ICOs and are becoming more selective, which are limiting the investments in ICOs, even in the good ones.
Bounty participants are being affected by that. The rewards are decreasing while the time period are increasing.
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOSRAM thread on: July 09, 2018, 04:17:40 AM
EOSRAM is not just a token but you can buy actual space in the EOS OS where you can host your dapp(business) so this is too a shop in the supermarket.
Buying demand more than selling makes the price increase and vice versa. It's the universal economics.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing dominance of Bitcoin on: July 09, 2018, 04:14:05 AM
It shows bitcoin have larger amount and number of hodlers than any other coin. They are not buying or selling in a hurry but are planning it.
It has more mature market and most of the coins are hold by mature traders and funds.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to put the tokens on the exchange? on: July 08, 2018, 01:54:31 PM
Exchanges are one of the safest place to keep your coins. With the increase in number of malwares and spywares and bad user practices, users are at risk of theft more than ever.
Some of the exchanges provide better security for trade and withdrawals, email verification, OTP as SMS, 2FA hence providing better protection.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano threatens Ethereum! on: July 08, 2018, 12:57:05 PM
The only thing cardano's threatening is investors money. They are here for quite a time but had achieved no visible progress in my opinion. Everything they are showing up as achievements have nothing to do about it's development and adoption. They still have a long way to achieve their own target let alone competing with ethereum.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is to blame; the fall of the market! on: July 07, 2018, 04:35:18 PM
It's actually the whales that went into bitcoin like crazy last October and november. If you exclude that unnatural spike and draw a line before that spike and current price, cryptocurrencies are gradually increasing in price.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth fees are up 7000 percent on: July 07, 2018, 04:20:29 PM
My metamask transaction are full of pending status. Increasing the price to thrice too didn't helped.
The congestion is not just hampering Ethereum but also to every tokens in it's platform. Decentralized exchanges are at halt.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 07, 2018, 03:47:33 PM
Today’s games -

Sweden vs England - England win
Russia vs Croatia - Russia win

Semi finals will look like this -

England vs Croatia
Belgium vs France

Russia win? I doubt this. They should be eliminated soon. Their game vs Spain sucked, all they did is take advantage of Spain playing really bad, they weren't finish any offensive moves, so all they did is have 11 men next to the goalkeeper at all times, then wait for a lucky opportunity (like Pique's stupid hand that caused a penalty)

I think Russia will get crushed by any of the remaining teams. Luka Modric is too good. Russia's only hope is using their very tall men to stop goals from happening and also win the fights against CRO defense's... but overall Russia is the worst team from all the 6 remaining teams.

I think not. Everyone in the league has a shot of winning the game as long as their hunger for the gold is there. Russia may be the worst but give them a shot to prove their worth as a contender for the title.

Russians were lucky a couple of times but that won't happen everyday. Croatia would easily outperform them.
England performed well today and seems like they'll be the winner of the 2018 world cup. Though France would give them a tough competition.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is starting to take the blockchain technology seriously. on: July 07, 2018, 09:58:34 AM
Even there are rumors of facebook acquiring coinbase. There seems to be real talks and they might be just waiting for proper regulations to jump into the technology of future.
Facebook is competing with tech conglomerates of google and amazon and being the first to get involved directly in crypto would be profitable.
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Switzerland's Stock Exchange will launch their Crypto Trading Platform on: July 07, 2018, 09:54:46 AM
Certainly. These tax heavens and cryptocurrency go together.
Sending income on crypto to swiss banks would replace the traditional risky deposit process.
And everyone would have a swiss bank account and will invest in swiss companies.
It would be much easier to exchange, send and receive money.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 06, 2018, 08:20:40 PM
With the loss of brazil,
winners of last 5 world cups are already out of the tournament. The sixth one is France 1998.
And it also made the current worldcup a europe only feast from now.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How to install a coin wallet in Linux? on: July 06, 2018, 01:34:09 PM
I'm new to linux.
I downloaded the default wallet provided by a coin for linux.
All I now have is a .tar.gz file.
Inside it are -cli, d, -qt and -tx files. Four of them only.
Neither runs. Is there something I need to do with terminal?
Tried random sudo's to those files without any progress.
