682  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Crash may take bitcoin to 1M dollar on: September 16, 2023, 06:22:46 PM
According to the Finbold article, ‘Rich Dad’ R. Kiyosaki predicts Bitcoin to $1 million if the economy crashes. This is food for thought for those who are foreseeing the economic crash and are unable to find a safe haven for their investments.

Due to the current economic situation and the BRICS, the crash of the dollar seems obvious. Although it will not happen instantly as the US Government will bail out packages in order to maintain the dollar value, however, the question is for how long?

Some people are of the view that if there is an economic crash, then the stock market and the commodities market will crash and so will the bitcoin price will tremble. This may happen but I think the bitcoin will recover quickly and people will invest in the bitcoin. And who knows bitcoin may not fall at all if all this happens in a slow and steady fashion.

We all know a lot of predictions in the market and even though we have a lot of predictions no one can still predict the market accurately so most of the predictions do not really matter since the cryptocurrency is still a huge risk so at any moment the market price of Bitcoin or cryptocurrency could easily crash without some sort of warning, in the end. This means we didn't know what was going to happen when we were hit by the global economic crash probably said that the market price was going to hit 1 million dollars it could still probably hit the opposite, I mean when the war hits we notice that the market price drop a huge percentage so there are always a possibility that the market price could drop so there is always a huge risk involved.

Truth here is there was no basis of the market price of cryptocurrency since the market price is just depending on the supply and demand in the market, unlike some tangible assets there was no sort of proof that it is still going to be valuable in the coming years, we dont really know if on 2030 cryptocurrency or Bitcoin is still going to exist or still sustain its market price.
683  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a boom again? on: September 16, 2023, 05:48:31 PM
In 2016 when I was a kid, this coin got in stuck in my mind but absolutely everyone around me was telling me to forget it, it's scam, it's online shit, I shouldn't study it and should move on something else and finally ended up working hard absolutely every day for years to migrate in Canada to learn in university and pay high tution fees.

Finally, I finished the university and gained PR but the money that I have spent in all of these makes me cry every day. If it weren't my parents, I would invest in bitcoin in 2016-2017, I would be a millionaire today. I totally missed 2020's boom because of my situation but now is the time in my life where I stand on my feet, not strongly but I stand and manage to live and save some money. As I see, there are guys on this forum since 2015, they are here still today, so I want to know your opinion and want to hear your advice about Bitcoin. As we all know, halving is coming. Should I invest my savings in Bitcoin? Or should I lean towards altcoins this time? Which one? I don't have health problems and don't have to worry about job security but it would make me sad to lose all the savings but life in Canada is getting expensive every fucking day.

I had the same thing back in the day I think it was 2017 as well I think the price of Bitcoin was around 400$ when I first discovered what Bitcoin is and I was really amazed because some of my friends were able to earn fair amount money on it, then that is when I get interested on it, but still I dont really have money that I can use to invest on it so I was really hesitating as well even though if I have a good amount of money my mindset that time was on spending so if I earn a good amount of profit I would probably just spend it on the gadget.

But still, I continued to invest even though the market price already skyrocketed because I just thought that the market was going to continue and it was a good opportunity even though I missed the first one, I got lucky on the second one since the last Bullrun I earned a good amount of money that I use again and reinvesting again today waiting for another opportunity to sell on the Bullrun.

For me, there was no other option but one thing that I learned is there are always opportunities to make a profit in the market so you should still invest especially at times like this when the market drops.
684  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Calm the pressure on: September 16, 2023, 04:24:15 PM
It's not always too late to invest in bitcoins, if you have ever miss any Bitcoin bull run or you have heard about the bitcoins bull run and you are excited to take actions, my simple advice is, calm the pressure. This advice is driven from the view point of the economy struggles of many, avoid over thinking , work hard to earn money and diversify your investment. Most persons in the crypto space are dying in the inside because they do not have money to invest due to their present circumstance. If you do not have money to invest now, please ease the pressure, you may have more than enough to invest in the future. Calm the pressure my dear friends, don't borrow money, I repeat, don't borrow money to invest on Cryptocurrency, because it is a volatile asset. Life is about risk which you have heard  countless times but it will be unwise to take loan to buy bitcoins.

Times like this are actually the best time to buy and invest in Bitcoin, the market was calm already and it is a good time to get greedy and start buying and accumulating Bitcoin while we still can, for sure in the future after around 2024 or 2025 probably that is where the price is going to skyrocket, The hype in the market for sure is going to be huge considering the Bitcoin adaptation around the world is just great, considering it is already adapted by a lot of banks allowing users to buy and sell Bitcoin or cryptocurrency on there platform.

This kind of times where Bitcoin doesnt have a lot of movement is actually a positive for long-term investments like mine, I mean I dont really have any intentions to sell my Bitcoin, especially at times like these where the market price is just so low and there was barely some movement and hype in the market. Also, I see this as a good opportunity to accumulate more so that I could earn a huge amount of profit soon when the Bull Run hit. still, this was a very risky investment so I dont really recommend any kind of loan just so you could invest, also avoid investing if you still doesnt have savings that you could use to survive or something like emergency funds.

685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If only property I have is bitcoin on: September 16, 2023, 07:48:51 AM
Sometimes we imagine some mystery of life as we are still living, have you asked yourself of your cryptocurrency investment profit and lost way about if you live by ghost, again have you asked the mystery that behind your investment when it occurs to be profiting, right now I'm thinking to myself and my investment and if only investment I have is bitcoin and when I'm no more who will manage my bitcoin investment and how will my family know about my bitcoin investment. I was ill for some days and I asked myself a two questions base on my only investment bitcoin, the questions are.

1) since I'm ill should I show my family my seed phrase
2) if I die who will take over my bitcoin since nobody in my family knows my seed phrase.

So I was asking myself different questions because I have no wife and no child, then I began to think and be questioning myself if it will be good to at least tell one person in my family my seed phrase or should I keep having the perso secret of my seed phrase personal or should I keep my bitcoin document on my wardrobe were they can easily see my seed phrase, that time I was of full of thinking, thank God  I recover fully from the illness before i return to forum...no sympathy

It is a pretty common thing for sure the only way here is just to teach them how to use Bitcoin if they are interested in it you could just teach them about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency investment so that they know in the end if something happens you have some sort of investment if in case you died. I mean there's no way they could use that money or get that money unless you give them your seep phrase or password or something like that it didn't really work that way since it's a decentralized thing on you have access to your wallet.

One of the things that I do is have a notebook where you can find my seep phrase they know that I have some sort of investment in cryptocurrency but they dont really know about how they are going to access it or something like that. I explained to them that everything about my cryptocurrency like seed phrase and password was all in my book and in case something happened they could access my wallet using that password, I mean it is still better if you could teach your family about cryptocurrency that way it is going to be easier..
686  Economy / Economics / Re: If the global economy collapses what's the first thing you do? on: September 16, 2023, 03:34:50 AM
Honestly if you have BTC congrats !!! We are heading  into a major economic shift and I feel like when the tides are turning like this there should be a conscious effort to land on the right side of that shift!!! Am I right? What should bitcoiners be doing right now to prepare for a potential global economic hardship other than the obvious which is to hodl and accumulate as much as you can...

I mean there was no escape from that if a global economic crisis hit us, all we could do was hope that we had saved enough and invested enough and find other ways or alternatives how where were going to survive it, For sure it is already a good thing that we are investing in cryptocurrency even though we all know that cryptocurrency is a very risky investment it is still better than just saving it on your banks where you doesnt have control and because of inflation, It's better to just save enough money as your savings like probably enough amount that you could use to buy your necessities and then do an emergency funds, insurance, health, retirement, etc. that is important then all of your other money is invested on assets like Bitcoin, real states or passive incomes.

We dont really know since the world is changing quickly so it's better to have multiple incomes while we can still earn a good amount of money so that when the crisis hits us we can easily survive it because we have a lot of assets and income. But I dont really know how Bitcoin is going to react to this kind of thing, we dont know if the price is going to drop or skyrocket so do not invest only in cryptocurrency.
687  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to sell? on: September 15, 2023, 06:40:36 PM
A simple question to those who are hoping to profit on the next Bitcoin bull-run:
How do you determine when is the good time to sell?
in other words: how would you know we've reached the peak?

Do you have a set "goal" price at which you'd be selling no matter what happens? Do you intend to sell incrementally as the price goes up? Or maybe when the price gradually drops (e.g. it goes down for X days in a row), indicating we're past the peak?

You will never know the peak of the market, and there are only a few investors that are going to get lucky that might predict the peak price of the market, We can't really predict the movement of the market even with the analysis thing, because they're just too many factors that affect the market price of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. The market price depends on supply and demand so it doesn't really have some kind of basis or it isn't guarantee that you are always going to make a good amount of profit on it.

The best time to sell is if it is a fair price already, just based on buy low and sell on high, You always going to make a profit, and it just depends on you when you going to sell or how high can you risk your money you can't predict the peak but at least try to make a good profit on it, Just based on the timeline and structure of bitcoin it would surely skyrocket its market price because of its low supply of only 21 million so if nothing bad happened it might just continue to increase its market price and we could make a good profit in the future the longer we HODL our investments.

688  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: El Salvador: bitcoin education in school curriculum on: September 15, 2023, 09:27:29 AM
El Salvador government is at  it again after the country had adopted bitcoin as a legal tender in June of 2021 as one of the first country to take such bold step.

Quote

The Ministry of Education in El Salvador partnered with Mi Primer Bitcoin (MPB), a nonprofit educational organization, to make Bitcoin-related content part of the school curriculum in the country. The pilot program will train 150 teachers to impart Bitcoin education, bringing the program to 75 public schools.
Source:
The El Salvador government has again I'm the bid to promote bitcoin adoption draft out a plan of teaching about 150 teachers from 7 different schools who will in turn teaching school students about the basics of  bitcoin and it's related content. And if the project gains success as expected the bitcoin public education it's going to be spread in all schools all over the country.

This action in my opinion is made necessary to bridge the  knowledge gap about bitcoin among the future generations of El Salvador.

If other governments follow the path of El Salvador as a nation it won't be long the campaign for a widespread bitcoin adoption will be achieved.

What do you all think about the methodology of adoption the El Salvador government is using to shovel bitcoin knowledge to every home through school students?
Will the goal be attainable and what does this mean for your own country?

Discussions are invited.

For sure this a good start, this is probably a good move overall since knowledge is probably where a lot of investors are lack, Having to know Bitcoin at school is I think a good thing, But I don't really think that it is necessary to be online bitcoin, this kind of subject could be cryptocurrency or just completely make it something about financial or investment subjects where students can learn how they are going to manage there financial I would say that it is a big thing in my experience having the right mindset when it comes to financial. That is actually where I started to invest in cryptocurrency luckily I also learned a lot here in the future and learned as well from a lot of speakers.

There are already cryptocurrency or blockchain technology-related jobs where you could be hired i think that's already a good start so that it wasn't really just about Bitcoin or cryptocurrency this student is actually learning about the technology and probably would develop a project on blockchain technology, most of the developers are hired and paid for a big amount of money so it wasn't a bad thing if they are going to make a program that teaches this kind of stuff, It is for sure going to be a big help if they wanted cryptocurrency. For sure they were Bitcoin believers but i don't know if it is great to only focus on Bitcoin development.

689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be the biggest means of fulfilling dreams in the future. on: September 15, 2023, 02:30:25 AM
I agree that Bitcoin is a good investment and it might probably be the way you could earn and make your dreams fulfilled in the future for sure, But it wasn't really that easy as that.

For sure you have a different mindset because even if investing in cryptocurrency is a good investment it doesn't really mean that you are going to earn from it, Always remember that cryptocurrency is still a risky investment, its difficult to say that you going to HODL and you're not going to lose money just because your going to sell your investment at the right timing, especially if you don't really have other sources of income, and doesn't have some kind of savings and emergency funds something like that if you needed the money your just gonna sell your cryptocurrency in a wrong timing.

I learned a lot on my cryptocurrency and investment journey that it wasn't really that easy just buy and HODL, to achieve financial freedom you need to have the right mindset, it doesn't matter if you have a lot of money, if you give someone a 100k$ they might just spend it on one day but if you have the right mindset you're going to invest that money and earn from it.
690  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What did you do After Reaching your Bitcoin Goal? on: September 14, 2023, 11:36:14 PM
I may reach my Bitcoin goal very soon all thanks to majorly the Dollar Cost Averaging strategy. I have been investing some specific amount into Bitcoin every month since the past couple of years. I have been at least 80% consistent in doing that through the dips and the funds and the bears and the pumps. The question that's been on my heart is what do I do when I finally reach this goal: set a new one and DCA or just keep DCAing without any goal in mind. If you have reached reached your Bitcoin goal what did you do after then?

For sure if I successfully make a good amount of profit here in cryptocurrency or Bitcoin, I would probably reinvest again in the future if I get a good opportunity on the next cycle but personally, the goal is to buy a more safe asset something like a real state, or a passive income like an apartment, or maybe something like a resort, etc.

Compared to cryptocurrency it is safer and could provide you with a more stable income than just investing in cryptocurrency and dollar cost averaging waiting for the Bullrun which would probably take years just to guarantee a big amount of profit.

A lot of investors just doesnt realize that cryptocurrency is still a very risky investment at any moment we just doesnt know if it is still gonna continue or if is it still going to exist in 2030 or 2050. Probably? but the market price of it is just depending on the supply and demand in the market so it still wasn't a guarantee, So as the goal of investment is to make a profit so at a fair market price you should sell your investment, probably the longer you're waiting the riskier it is, but theoretically, it should increase its market price in the future.
691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in your country. on: September 14, 2023, 04:12:26 PM
This thread is created to enable bitcoiners in this forum to narrate the status of bitcoin in their country. This will include whether bitcoin is legalised, outlawed or a legal tender in your country. You have the liberty to mention your country or not. Other details may include if bitcoin is mined in your country and the overall friendliness of the government to cryptocurrency in your country.

Importance of the thread
  • This will enable bitcoiners to know the fate of bitcoin in different countries
  • This thread will allow travellers to know bitcoin friendly countries that they will travel to for residential purpose or vacation in order to live a bitcoiner's life.

I go first:

I am a Nigerian.

  • On the 5th of February 2021, The Central Bank of Nigeria directed all the banks in Nigeria to close the accounts of all the people that are involved in cryptocurrency transactions in the country. The banks swung into action immediately. This made Nigerians believe that the government has banned cryptocurrency in the country.
  • Nigerians began to use centralized p2p to trade and when there is need for banks, they send the money without using any crypto keywords in the narration. Meanwhile,  the information was that crypto is banned in Nigerian
  • Quote
March 21, 2021: The CBN clarifies its position on the ban and states that individuals  are not prohibited from buying and trading crypto, just not through any Nigerian bank or fintech.
  • So, in my country cryptocurrency is not banned but its transaction with banks is banned.

On 28th May, 2023 Nigeria government signed into law the finance act 2023 which grants 10% tax on gains in digital assets including cryptocurrency while still keeping cryptocurrency transaction banned in the country. This is the state of the confusion about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in my country.

This was a trouble if you looking to invest or still wanted to continue your cryptocurrency journey, I dont really know if it is worth the risk so just you could invest or continue using Bitcoin since it's a different story when Bitcoin is banned or forbidden in your country since you could face possible penalties if you get caught.

Luckily here in my country, It wasn't really like cryptocurrency or bitcoin is restricted or banned here and they dont really support it the way I see it, but a lot of companies and platforms are already adapting to cryptocurrency technology to the point where you could already buy and sell cryptocurrency to some platforms here in my country, also there are some banks or E-wallets that already allow buying and selling Bitcoin but since it's still a centralized platform I dont really recommended it but I guess its already a good thing since at least there are a lot of progress on cryptocurrency and Bitcoin adaptation here in my country.

It seems like most of the platforms here are considering cryptocurrency as an investment but the markup or fees on every transaction are just so high, so I would still recommend other platforms.

Hey. Please provide me with an email associated with your casino account in PM, I will check the information and get back to you with a solution. At first glance, it looks like you tried to log in from the registration page.

For sure the error was on the registration page but as you can see this was the login page, I don't really remember putting a password on my account, I'm just logging in to my account directly using my email as far as I remember.

695  Economy / Speculation / Re: Michael Saylor predicts Bitcoin can go to $5 million? on: September 12, 2023, 06:12:16 PM
This is according to cryptonews media bitcoinlfg.com' Twitter account. However, I do not see this shared or reported on any of the other cryptonews media websites. Is this fake news or does Michael Saylor need to promise that he will eat his dick on national television to get this prediction more attention hehehhee.

BREAKING
Billionaire Michael Saylor Predicts that Bitcoin is Can Hit $5 million dollars.

Source https://twitter.com/bitcoinlfgo/status/1700981076389413281

To be honest anyone can predict a very high price in the market price of Bitcoin and it's really possibly going to be true if we are just going to base it on the past market price and the Bitcoin Timeline The market price every year is obviously on an up trend. This means it is possible for sure that Bitcoin is going to reach a 5 million dollar price in the future but we just aren't sure when it is going to happen as well and there are a lot of factors that are affecting the market price of Bitcoin so sure so we can't really be accurate about it but the market price is still just base on supply and demand so the market price could easily drop or increase at any time.

But for sure getting a very high market price like 5 million dollars is going to have a big effect, I dont really know what the effect in our country, or possibly having this kind of price is actually great for Bitcoin. This is for sure all kinds of hype since demand is going to increase when this kind of news or articles are on the internet already. For sure there are going to be more of these articles as we need the Bitcoin halving.

696  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You can get played by anybody on: September 12, 2023, 05:03:12 PM
I mean this is just pretty common these days because there are already a lot of hackers and scammers online that really want to get some money from people or investors so they are really desperate making every possible move just to get one victim. I mean for sure there are a lot of people and investors that get caught in this kind of work, and for sure they are getting scammed because these people still continue to do this kind of thing because they are still earning on this dirty work, for sure if they are not earning anymore, or they didn't scam a single people they are going to stop doing this already.

So for sure, there was no work around it What we really need is just to learn about this kind of thing because if we know what they are doing we can easily protect ourselves from this scammer and they can't do anything for us if we have knowledge about it. It doesn't really matter if it's Elon Musk or it's some famous person out there First of all they for sure not going to message you at all, as well as you should not give your seed phrase to anyone.
697  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin: Bullish or Bearish on: September 12, 2023, 03:59:13 PM
Bitcoin's recent performance has raised concerns, with various factors impacting its trajectory. However, it's important to approach its future outlook rationally.

Technically, Bitcoin faces challenges with a critical support level at around $25,500. A break below this could lead to further declines, potentially testing $20,000.

In the short term, a price above $2.58 might signal a trend reversal, while surpassing $2.65 could indicate a rebound. But until Bitcoin shows significant strength, rebounds may be brief.

Ethereum has its challenges, with low trading volumes and the recent hacking of founder Vitalik Buterin's Twitter account affecting its reputation. Short-term market stagnation is possible.

In terms of news, the FTX token sale case may appeal in September. However, the market's ability to absorb a $200 million sell-off remains uncertain. Key events, including the FTX case and economic data, are being closely watched.

Some analysts believe this drop may be manipulated to liquidate long positions. The market is contracting, with funds flowing to a few, causing a drop in Bitcoin's trading volume.

For future trends, caution is advised. Bitcoin may rebound in October, but September is uncertain. The purchasing power of $1 has changed since 2021, making funds cautious. Altcoins' response to Bitcoin's rebound and their gains should be approached carefully. In the short term, risk awareness is vital.

In summary, a rational, calm approach is essential in the cryptocurrency market. Make investment decisions based on your circumstances and risk tolerance, avoiding being swayed by sentiment.

I mean I wouldn't really be surprised if the market price even dropped to 20,000 I mean for the most part there wasn't really something yet that could trigger the market price to a Bull Run, for the market to increase and probably go to a Bull Run.  For sure at this time this market price is still a good position for the market price to skyrocket in the coming months, bullish or bearish it's still Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is obviously a risky investment because of the volatile market we can really be sure of anything on cryptocurrency that is why it is so risky because in the coming months, it is always possible that the market price of Bitcoin could drop and that is just normal to get bearish or bullish.

I am pretty sure that there will be movements in the coming months probably at the end of the year this December until next year If we are just going to compare this to the past movement of Bitcoin, there is always a big spike when the Bitcoin halving is near so probably there will be a spike again but it doesnt really matter personally because I just HODL my Bitcoin until I think that the market price is already fair to sell.
698  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much ,as you think ,is 1 bitcoin in 2025? on: September 11, 2023, 11:12:37 PM
How much ,as you think  ,is  1 bitcoin in 2025?

It is really fascinating how Bitcoin become what it is today I mean just take a look at this post we did not really know in the past year that Bitcoin is going be able to reach this market price at all, Maybe we really just have a very low expectation on it, just looking at this post its not even 2025 and we already surpass 10k$ a long time ago, I mean just looking at the development and adaptation of the Bitcoin around the globe it is for sure adapted very well even in my country, banks are even starting to support cryptocurrency to the point where it is already on their platform. Just looking at this adaptation for sure it is going to be big the next bull run and the market price is going to be big.

Now looking at this point, I'm thinking that the market price in the next bull run will probably be around 100k$ - 150k$, But now maybe I have a low expectation maybe it is even possible for the market price to skyrocket up to a million dollars soon. The potential of this cryptocurrency is just through the roof already so for sure it is going to be big in the coming years if it continues what it is doing unless something happens.

I'm not creating this thread to wrong or offend anyone, because i have read so many post that is like fiction, even though cooperate with system, so many thread in Bitcoin discussion mostly newbies like me do frame a story that is not real in Bitcoin and also said a story of what they achieve in Bitcoin that is not real and present to the public to read and take as real story whereas it's a fiction, I want the reason behind someone given a fiction story to the forum. I want ask a question as an old forum user, is it not prohibited when someone discussed something that is not contrary to bitcoin education in this board.

Instead of formulating what is not real to write, it's better to make research of bitcoin and educate others through your research, some people make some posts without making it to be informative, some gives testimonies of their achievement with Bitcoin without proven evidence. I think we are to exchange of bitcoin knowledge and share experiences of Bitcoins with each other not to give fake information about what Bitcoin has done to you without evidence.

I mean we can't do anything about that if someone wanted to lie about something we can't do about it, they can lie all they want but I dont see how they are going to benefit from that. I guess there are some with the intentions of getting merits, since most of the posts about being successful or achievement could probably earn a good amount of merits, For sure it wasn't really that worth it I mean you can't lie everytime about something and most of the members are gonna smell that something is fishy if he always lies about something and for sure this post should at least have evidence as well of there achievement. I just doesnt see the point if they are going to continue lying about something just to make a single post.

There was no obligation here since merits are subjective you could merit anyone if you feel like it, I guess all we can do is avoid meriting this kind of post since it doesnt have some kind of knowledge unless they share their experiences and knowledge at the same time of the post, with that I guess it's already worthy of a single merit at least.

700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank vs Crypto: Are they opposites? on: September 10, 2023, 11:50:51 PM
For sure there are a lot of differences between banks and cryptocurrency, we can already see crypto as decentralized and banks are centralized platforms, the technology is different since cryptocurrency operates on the blockchain and they do transactions differently with the banks, where everything is just centralized which is actually not something that I would definitely recommend. I mean for sure back in the day these two were just completely different and there are some saying that cryptocurrency is going to kill banks in the future because there is just no one that would actually want a centralized platform or just put your money in savings where you dont really have complete control about it right.

But right now I can already see how the cryptocurrency adapt to a lot of countries even here in my countries cryptocurrency already adapted to the point where it is already available to a lot of platforms or banks, some of the banks here in my country already allowed users to buy cryptocurrency using there platform, I mean for sure this banks or companies already realize that they cant really stop Bitcoin so they probably just need to adapt on it because its probably one of there competitors if they didn't do something a lot of money is going to be put on cryptocurrency,
