Anyone who doesn't have basic knowledge of geography and geology may believe such nonsense. Throughout history there have been and there will be earthquakes in that region.
Other political bullshit has no basis, but some people love conspiracy theories. I sometimes read stuff like this for fun. In this case, there is nothing to laugh about though. There was a great natural disaster. The impact of this disaster was so big because the authorities didn't listen to the warnings of the scientists. Now we need to heal these wounds and fix the mistakes of politicians. No one has time to waste with such empty conspiracy theories. You can continue to believe nonsense by looking at them in your comfortable location outside the earthquake zone.

I woke up early yesterday to watch LeBron's record live, couldn't sleep much last days anyway. It was also good for distraction. We witnessed history. I don't know when will we see a moment like that again.
Funny part is Lakers lost all games when LeBron past other topscorers. This didn't change in last game as well. I wish his team was more competitive but I guess they wouldn't even go for play-offs this season.

Probably because most of these topics were scams. With some trying to make a profit at the cost of other people's disgrace. Now, I don't know if it's strictly forbidden on the forum, but it's something that should be done very carefully. That was not a scam post. We are already very sensitive about those scam posts. Instead of collecting donations individually, I waited trusted NGOs to accept crypto donations. After long talks, we got the permission from the authorities and shared those crypto addresses from the original source. Based on how some past aid efforts on the forum turned out, it is smarter to send all help straight to trusted non-profit groups like the Red Cross and Red Crescent working in Turkey and Syria. I am not a fan of those big and sluggish NGOs and I would rather give directly to those in need, but even that is far better than falling for scams who will use this bad situation for their own gain. Unfortunately trust in government organizations here is much less than NGOs we mentioned. Also, they didn't have the option to donate with crypto. You can donate blood to Red Crescent though. irfan_pak10 had donation thread some time ago when Pakistan was hit by flood or natural disaster. He got quite lot of enthusiasm from forum users who wanted to donate little money to the Pakistani people affected by the disaster. The thread is still available and not deleted until recently. Those threads are very similar. I don't understand why there is a different approach to that thread. Anyway, the thread is restored second time. Thank you theymos. |

Given that many of the established members on the forum have bitcoin instead of altcoin, having bitcoin address as donation wallet is very wise decision. I hope it actually gets passed because eventually all those bitcoin can be converted to fiat or something. In order to avoid any misunderstanding, the shared addresses are not under the control of any member of the forum, but belong to a non-governmental organization that we know and trust. Bitcoin cannot be collected at the moment because they don't setup a Bitcoin wallet. Unfortunately the legal aspect of that is a bit troublesome in our country, so it's difficult to collect money and exchange it to Turkish Lira individually. |

I can confirm that this is the most reliable donation address for the biggest NGO here. Although it's only for BEP20 transactions more than 100k USD was raised already in less than 40 minutes. Because of the limitations I mentioned they created this address with special permission from MASAK. We also made a suggestion to open a Bitcoin wallet. NGOs are working hard, but there appears to be a general lack of organization. Two earthquakes of this magnitude and width make it difficult to reach everywhere. Well, looks like Nets robbed Mavs with this trade. Kyrie was usually great but getting Dinwiddie plus Finney-Smith was an offer that couldn't be refused, not to mention a couple of future picks. The profitable side is obvious. I also don't know how Luka and Kyrie will share the ball, it doesn't look well taught move by Mavs management. Even after this trade, things are not absolutely clear for Nets though. Durant may go as well. Either way it's time to shine for Cam Thomas.

No mate, LeBron James is now 36 points away from breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's record. LeBron put 27 more in the last game and now he needs 36. They are two different things, read again.  He will break it either in Thunder or Bucks game. It's really up to him honestly, he can drop 36 against Thunder easily but he may not care the record at all and play his natural game. |

LOL. That would be hilarious. In last games he didn't look like he cared about this achievement much. He tries to win games instead of stat-padding. I'm sure if he really wants he can easily drop 60+ in a game. If he plays in next 3 games I believe he'll reach the record in Thunder game. Honestly I'm tired of seeing that countdown after his every single basket, let him reach the record so everybody can relax a bit. |

I don't think this halving affect Bitcoin price as much as previous ones. It's natural for people to follow this because they think from past experiences that similar events will happen in the future. I think it's very possible that we will see a new bull market, but halving won't be the only reason. We've been in a downtrend for a long time and Bitcoin is just giving signs of recovery. Since the market won't fall continuously, it will rise again at some point. I believe that we should not just keep accumulating BTC but alts too, some alts have done 100 and some even did 1000x after previous halving. However, we don't know where the money will land just before/after halving takes place. Only time will tell, however, halving has always proven to be the best time before which pumps take place and the real value already gets priced in. So, doing it in chunks will definitely help us out to earn a lot during halving. It's hard to pick the right altcoin and every new cycle created new altcoins. If you buy the wrong altcoin, you can even lose money, let alone make money. Bitcoin is always the safest choice in crypto-currency market. I always have Bitcoin in my wallet, whether there is a new bull market or not. |

Julius gets a lot of the last minute looks on the team. No way hartenstein gets the ball there. He is really a backup center (Mitchell Robinson is hurt). Backup journeymen center is not getting the last look in that game. Lakers knew where it was going which was the issue. Knicks suck in late game situations. I don't get your post, didn't you read it carefully? I wasn't talking about last ball when I mentioned Hartenstein. He played great whole game, if you watched the game you'd understand. Especially in last quarter he grabbed too many offensive rebounds and created second chances but other Knicks players failed to use them. They could've won the game without going to overtime. This is what happens when you hit only 7/34 behind the 3-point line. |
