The plain fact here is that IEO is far more reliable, secure and user friendly than ICO, but not without its shortcomings. However, I can see some exchanges addressing the issue in no time. One of the issues is few users/buyers scooping the whole tokens within seconds leaving the control of the token in the hands of a few whales. Aside from this and the issue of transparency on part of the exchanges, I think IEO is still the better alternative that we need right now.

I think this should be a prerequisite for each project because we need to know whom we trust our funds and in case of project failure, if the project team tries to deceive us, we will know who they are and where to find them.
I agree with you. Team KYC should be a prerequisite in this space where scams are at every corner. But I believe that a very serious team that know what they are doing and are ready to put anything in line for the success of their project should not be force to KYC or hide who they are. They should be ready to reveal themselves to their investors. |

There is no need to castigate IEO for the hype it has created. IEO is the new ICO. We need a new approach that will bring in as many as possible investors into the market and IEO is doing just that so far. All I could see is a similar thread with ICO in 2017, where there was so much bubble around it and everyone was carried away with the hype. I see the same thing happening with IEO and I feel while everything is still rosy, just jump in and enjoy the ride with the tide, but know when to jump out when the bubble is going down.

My bounty story was quite similar to yours because everything started with hyip programs, ponzi scheme, pyramid scheme and the likes, where I lost a lot of money to these programs. It was a program that requested for payment to be made in BTC and that how I started making online diggings and transitioned from the then digital currencies like Perfectmoney, LR, etc to cryptocurrency full-time. In the quest to earn more coin, I started participating in faucets and later in airdrops and now bounty programs. I haven't been lucky to earn that much because of the bear market but the experience gathered has been awesome. The story still continues after here.

It is true that governments are always up against what they have no control over. However, considering how many world governments have embrace and are being lenient with cryptocurrency in their respective countries, I have no fear that they will ban all privacy cryptocurrencies. As they've come to understand the fundamentals of bitcoin, with time they will come to term with principles of privacy coins and no ban will be issued. Just hold some and don't bank all your hope on them as anything can happen.

The Aussie Digital airdrop has been all over the place and on decided to dig further, I have realised that this is great project with lots of potentials to shake up the existing ecosystem. However, it will be a welcome idea if the team can sit down and come up with new features that has never been seen in the ecosystem. This is needed to survive the competition ahead.

IEO from my perspective is simply a more secure platform for projects to rise funds. And yes they can turn to scam not only in the future but at any point in time. This is why exchanges have a lot to do to protect investors and protect their reputation.

72 million dollars is ridiculous and unrealistic in this current market. I don't know what the project aim to achieve with such a hard cap. Look more into the project for an idea of the token but I will definitely pass.
