681  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: VirWox suspends BTC withdrawals! on: February 14, 2014, 12:54:24 AM
You can withdrawal your neteller/skrill funds to your bank account or credit card.

So I'd have to sell my btc for USD or whatever, then withdraw it to my paypal, neteller, or skrill. I don't have neteller or skill accounts so my only option would be to withdraw funds via paypal. I don't have a problem with that - it's just that I want the coins, not the fiat! I'm just wondering if there's anything I can do to get my .43 coins is all. Whether it be to just wait it out, or if I'm able to just buy coins from someone who's selling for neteller or skrill.
682  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 2 BITCOINS FOR SALE VIA SKRILL on: February 14, 2014, 12:41:30 AM
Hey, I have 2 bitcoins to sell.

I need to sell asap so I am willing to sell for £300 for all, I understand as I am new I won't be trusted but I am willing to do what ever is necessary to prove I am legit.  However I do need to sell as soon as possible.  Please message me if you are interested and are able to pay via skrill.

Thanks

(Sorry I am not selling anything less than the 2 bitcoins. (it is exactly 2.0455))

Smiley Hmmm I wouldn't trust anyone with 1 post and selling BTC via Skrill Cheesy

but Smiley wish you luck - maybe somewill help you.

Why you just dont sell it on exchange?

I've never done a transaction with Skrill before, but can you elaborate on how one can get scammed for buying coins with Skrill? I can see how this is risky to the seller, but for the buyer?

I had a similar issue with the .bat not loading on my PC. You need to move the file folder from your desktop. Hell, you should only have shortcuts on your desktop anyways; slow the hell out of your system. Anyways, try this. It'll probably work. I don't want your coins.

687  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinRoyale.com • Provably Fair Blackjack & Baccarat • Instant Play • Free BTC on: February 13, 2014, 11:09:03 PM
And publicly I might add. This is different and rather interesting. I can't see many casinos having this much confidence.

Thanks, Lucky Cris!

If you would like to give it another spin, I can give you some free credit to play if you post/pm me your account name (feel free to create a new one). I've also notice there's a registered user 'LuckyCris' in our system.

That's me! I created the account before I found my original login when I got the freebie Smiley  You can delete the original and I'll keep my LuckCris account Smiley And of course - I'll be happy to get the free credit, thanks!

I have funds in my VirWox I can send to you via Skrill. Let me know if you're interested.
689  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS 1.4 BTC via Skrill Trusted Member only on: February 13, 2014, 10:58:44 PM
I have funds in my VirWox account I can send to a Skrill account. I'm not sure how withdrawals to Skrill work from VirWox, but I'd be interested to buy some coins if this is doable.
690  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] 0.2475 Bitcoins via Skrill on: February 13, 2014, 10:56:06 PM
I have funds in my VirWox account that I can transfer to someone's Skrill account. Let me know if you're interested... I'm not sure how VirWox withdrawals work...
691  Economy / Service Discussion / VirWox suspends BTC withdrawals! on: February 13, 2014, 10:53:01 PM
So I have a little bit of coins in my VirWox account that I'm not able to withdraw due to the recent attacks on exchanges.  Sad

Anyhoo - I'm just curious if anyone knows how the Skrill or Neteller withdrawal works? I see that some people are selling BTC in the forum for Skrill/Neteller; I'm just wondering if I'd be able to sell my coins and send the USD to someone else's Skrill/Neteller account; I don't have these types of accounts.

Anyone knows how this process works? Thanks!
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Doge coin is bad on: February 12, 2014, 07:58:33 AM
I get the point that alts dillute BTC's stand against centralized currencies and payment processors. I also get the point that Doge enthusiasts are often uneducated (teenagers) going wild on the Internet.

However I rather see these teens use their videocards to mine Doge while they look at cute puppies, than to spend their time playing ultraviolent and gory videogames. Or to post their most intimate details on Facebook. And so do their parents.

There also have been "charitable" activities around Doge..

Perhaps it's bad for the crypto-currency scene, but it's good for "people".

And another who actually put thought into their post!

Excellent point; I wasn't even thinking in that direction. It's definitely a more constructive distraction, no doubt!
693  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a way/method to buy bitcoins using paypal? on: February 12, 2014, 07:53:26 AM
VirWox any day over LocalBitcoins. You'll definitely pay a premium on LBC. You don't have to provide ID with VirWox but your paypal must be verified (same thing, right).
694  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Sale Agreement: LuckyCris & repairguy on: February 12, 2014, 07:47:00 AM

I received all the items; taking my time building my rigs Smiley  Will give repairguy positive trust.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Doge coin is bad on: February 12, 2014, 07:33:41 AM
Well...ok doge offers no "technical inovations" and i understand that for oldfags this question is important - indeed it is! And yes, the barking is sometimes too loud and childish...but on the other hand doges community on reddit also does a lot of charity...that not just helps people, its also a very good promotion for cryptos in general.

well, did you once thought about this important point that for the mainstream-user technical inovation is not the key question? its usability instead! ...and if you would check out what grows on reddit and how cryptos are getting more and more a mainstream feature there you could imagine that apps and tipbots maybe not might be the most complex inovation but the most needed.

as far as i know that wave has begun with doge...doge will find his place and areas where people like it and for sure there will be more decent alternatives for other opportunities. the key point is: how can normal people easy and fast use cryptos without having to get an expert.

maybe the first generation is more than enough for that need...the second generation is coming anyway...but i dont think it makes sense to complain about something just because its not the highest scale of development posible...

if people understand it and can use it, its an important step!

FINALLY! An intelligent argument. Thank you! I was beginning to believe what OP said about Dogecoiners.  Wink

You definitely made a few good/valid points. No doubt Doge's popularity is promoting cryptos. But I suppose another part of that equation is the user base its attracting and the type of publicity its receiving. Is this truly very good promotion for crypto currency in general? Is excessive promotion inadvertently overshadowing other crypto coins? In the long run, is helping or hurting the scene? These are just questions to spark additional thoughts is all. I own several types of crypto coins - bitcoin is the only one I'll actively promote. For now that is.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Doge coin is bad on: February 12, 2014, 07:05:14 AM
While I wouldn't necessarily call the Doge community retarded... I agree with the overall message here.

If I were on the outside of the crpyto-currency scene and ran across the majority of the alt coins nowadays, I'd have no confidence to invest. Even better, if my first exposure were to coins like Coinye and Doge (keep in mind I don't know anything about nothing yet), I would think it's a total joke and my entire impression on crypto would be forever tainted; bitcoins wouldn't have a shot in hell in my book.

But as I am on the inside... I'll secretly collect the alt coins I think I might make a buck or two from... but I'll be damned if I'd run around promoting them. Imagine me: I'm mining Potcoin - my colleagues' imagination would run wild. Just sayin'

You know what this is what excatly happened to me in 2011. When I first heard about 'Bitcoin', I thought "What...? Bitcoin..? a currency..? this must be a joke" along the lines of that and I can't believe how much that cost me... Same to the people who refuse to believe in Dogecoin, it's their loss...  we can't do anything about it. Any currency like Dollar(crazy name for a currency), Ruble etc.. has the value community asigned to it based on it's usage. No other things matters... Doge has it's uses like Bitcoin and has a strong community who accepted it as a currency.. If someone hate a currency just because of it's name, then he is actually the retard here... The one who made this thread must has a large stash of some other coin and furious about doge stealing it's lime light or may be he is furious about Bitcoin's price drop and his hate for doge coin forced him into the conclusion that dogecoin is the reason for the drop... Anyway he is actually the  jealous short sighted retard here.

So just to clarify my position a little...
'Same to the people who refuse to believe in Dogecoin, it's their loss'
Is it really about refusing to believe in the coin? The same can be said about any coin - it's still a risk at the end of the day. If I actively mine and trade Dogecoins but I'm not soliciting it all over the internet, tell me - Do I believe in it?

'If someone hate a currency just because of it's name, then he is actually the retard here'
Not sure who would hate a coin because of its name alone, but personally to see people following the crowd with all the Dogecoin memes are - well... much elementary (did I do that right?). So I'm a professional in real life. If someone tried to introduce me to crypto with Doge; and I when consult Google all I see are people exclaiming phrases like 'much this/that' and 'Wow' to describe this coin's rationale... why would I take it much seriously? I hope you understand that it's a little more than just the name; and hate is a rather strong descriptive term.

'The one who made this thread must has a large stash of some other coin and furious about doge stealing it's lime light or may be he is furious about Bitcoin's price drop and his hate for doge coin forced him into the conclusion that dogecoin is the reason for the drop... Anyway he is actually the  jealous short sighted retard here.'
That's quite of bit of inference there. Honestly I could care less of his personal motive/reasoning for making the statement. Point is, he made one.

And to ensure no focus is lost on niceli's post it's a new reply:
I agree that doge does not earn the success its having at the moment in any way. The only thing driving it is a community which consists. of 1/4 internet trolls (think 4chan), 1/4 people who are blind followers and 2/4 greedy folks who dont question anything.

Community can only take something so far. Who really thinks that people outside of above groups will take a such wow coin seriously?
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Doge coin is bad on: February 12, 2014, 06:14:49 AM
actually Lauda what's to see here is rather clear i keep repeating myself..
Doge fanboys are damaging Bitcoin and the community as a whole.
and i say that is a very worth while thing to point out.
even if you choose to dodge that point i made.

Sorry OP - I think I have to excuse myself from this thread. Not sure why I thought the end product would give people something to consider... Actually, for those of us who can produce original thought, it does. Just let the responses speak for themselves, I suppose.
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Doge coin is bad on: February 12, 2014, 06:04:54 AM
Your thread is pointless. Like it or not, doge has a very strong community backing it up. Investors love DOGE.
Note: I do not support DOGE, I only mine it and sell as it is very profitable.

it's not pointless at all and i am informing existing users and hopefully letting new user know what the deal is when they google search etc for the coin.
so no you are 100% incorrect.
Even your writing and formatting is not correct.
Doge is great. Move on, nothing to see here.
Wait a minute... how can this thread be pointless when you just proved part of his point?
Which part?

Yet proving another one of OP's points about the user community...[/b] somebody please explain.

if your not jealous then why are you making this post? just because dogecoin has a vibrant and active community does not means they are all "morons"

Huh? How did you infer the OP is jealous? I didn't even have to offer a bounty for a sanity check because I already know. SMH

Please take note:
Infer: deduce or conclude from evidence and reasoning rather than from explicit statements. (and just in case reasoning confuses you):
reasoning: the action of thinking about something in a logical, sensible way.
