Depends on how you do it.
If you act like an ass and think you are better than everyone else..
Then you dont know how to manage projects.

You need to be able to make a plan (white paper).
Make sure that everyone within the project is able to work together.

And keep it professional to avoid mistakes that I possible to prevent.
But still not kill the fun of creating something with others.
