Altcoins with low trading volume is essential worthless. Price/total marketcap do not mather when no one wants to buy your coins.
For example. If you hold 100 btc worth of goldcoin, cryptogenic bullion and franko, 1/3 each, and you have to sell because you need cash fast. How much btc would you get?

I think we have more chances of hitting coinedUp first so we should create topic for votes there
I would rather that microcoin don't get added to coinedup. There is so much crap there.

There is 0 premine and a very fair launch.
I am pretty sure that the dev is not amoung the individuals with highest incentives to promote the coin from a finansial perspective.

Network hashrate is dropping. Not cause of GPU adjust, but people abandoning mining. Whats the plan forward? Any plans/campaigns going on to promote this coin?
Yes the GPU adjustment factor didn't kick in yet. miners a re just leaving. hopefully something positive happens with this coin before everyone leaves. this coin has a good name, algo and fair launch It did yesterday.

I agree with the Nut2pool.com status and review. Great pool, maybe have we found a REAL ALTERNATIVE TO BTC OR LTC!
Or a real supplement to btc and ltc. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

As the person who takes care of Worldcoin's marketing I go through this same thing every single second of every single day. Every crypto goes through it and you have to hold you head up high and try to work around it or at least defend from it, never attack. This is a terrible move, sorry.
Granted, but there is a difference between the 2, WorldCoin has been around for a decent period of time, is cemented as a respectable currency. This move isn't an attack, it is a defense, which will allow me to concentrate 100% on what needs to be done RIGHT NOW as opposed to spending time tackling issues head on that are of no relevance to the project right now. My thinking is that if I remove the call for investment, which is fueling these attacks, that is the best form of defense available to me right now. At a later stage, and in a step to discard any doubts of scam, vapourware, or anything else of the sort, we can hold an open beta for a few week, THEN revisit the idea of a public IPO to achieve the distrubution and other goals that we had in mind here. That way at least, everyone that is interested has the chance to test drive the system and make up their own mind. At the moment it is a controlled beta, as that satisfies the development requirements currently, and that also is fueling this current round of FUD. That sounds sensible. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I see your points, but a lot of my time lately is just taken up dealing with endless FUD directed at me personally.
We all know the damage that FUD can create, especially if it goes un-managed and/or ignored, but by doing that, the flip side is that the development of the project and the time already ploughed into it suffers instead.
If eMunie was launched already and had a solid user base, then it wouldn't be an issue and could more readily be ignored. That time has not come to pass yet, so to ensure the continued progress of the project, this seemed to me to be the best move at this moment in time.
But how do you expect to get a solid user base (aka. good distribution) when you cancel the public IPO? The less people buying in the presale, the more scam accusations will there be. And opposite. For every extra person buying eMunie in the presale you got 1 more indivdual supporting the project.

Lol. This must be the most unprofessional move ever.
I can't belive what i just read.
Care to explain why you think that? I think a lot of people were looking forward to the presale with plans to invest, myself included. It seems like you are destroying your own project now. To make a radical change like this seems extremly unprofessional and it will undoubtly have an impact on peoples perseption of eMunie.

On a more happy note, are there any exchange threads out there now? Btw why the change to 1000MRC after block 310k? Wouldn't it kinda kill the coin/network, given how many coins have been mined out there and the diff between the "launch" block payout.
Imo this could kill the coin given that theres so many MRC out there, with a couple of big bag holders, making the prices on exchange staying a bit low. Which then again makes mining for 1000MRC pr block kinda unattractive. Diff goes down, to even out and not let the block chain slow down. But all of this just opens an whole other can of worms (51% attacks, large pump/dump on exchanges etc)
here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=409083.0Actually this is typed so it's easy to understand but when I look source I see blocks will be counted as follow: 0-10,000 = 0,0001 blocks 10,001 - 160,000 = counting up +1 160,001 - 310,000 = counting down -1 310,000 - = counting down -0.01 UNTILL BLOCK REWARD IS 1000And after that, if there is any maxmoneysupply coins left, all blocks are solid 1,000 If some one have time to calculate exact block number when reward is solid 1000 please put the result here ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Any way, this slow decreasing sould make good for price. Its better that like usually blocks halved. 9000 = 0,01 * x x = 900.000 blocks (60*60*24)/32 = 2700 blocks each day 900.000 / 2700 = 333,33 days Edit: around block nr. 1.210.000

I get only 9mhash total from 3x 7950. The cards are only at 40-50 °C ( scrypt 80°C). I am using the settings in OP. How can i turn up the intensity? I need warmer GPUs to heat the house... Thanks for any help. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
