Another example of the determination of governments to chase and prosecute individuals who cause harm to their corporate benefactors. The robber barons of finance who caused a world market crash and misery for untold hundreds of millions (if not billions) are still collecting nice fat paychecks and busy robbing everyone all over again, with no consequences in sight.

Unreal Tournament is one of the best in my book.
685  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Americans Getting Poorer on: November 13, 2014, 12:47:12 AM
I think that people today feel "poorer" mainly because they don't see a positive future for themselves or the country.
686  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Obama says FCC should reclassify internet as a utility on: November 13, 2014, 12:29:37 AM
The efforts by some to end net neutrality has far reaching implications. First, it would create a whole new revenue stream that benefits ISPs, their executives and shareholders, fully at the expense of the consumer. Second, it would implement backdoor censorship, where economic sanctions could be used as a means for the government to block or censor internet content from web sites that may expose inconvenient truths; content will be blocked unless a fee is paid, but proactive sanctions will prevent the fee to be paid no matter how big or small.

Alkaline water, there are some sort of benefits from drinking it.

Luxembourg is like Switzerland, it's going to cost you a bundle to live there, but it is nice.

The Flash, currently one of the most highly rated tv series of 2014.
691  Other / Politics & Society / Re: IRS claims it has LOST two years' worth of emails from former official Lerner on: November 12, 2014, 07:06:14 AM
Let's see, the IRS was technically savy enough to forward millions of pages of personal data about conservatives to Erick Holder to investigate... But somehow they lost 2 years of incriminating emails?
692  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 8 dead 50 hospitalized after sterilization surgery. on: November 12, 2014, 06:58:15 AM
It seems that India's government is more upset about getting caught than having killed and injured all those women.
693  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Obama Prepares Amnesty Plan on: November 11, 2014, 07:35:49 AM
I think Obama gives amnesty step is a step that is not bad, generous and willing to give a second chance for amnesty recipients is a generosity given by President Obama, in fact a lot of interest from the Obama of giving amnesty to immigrants, ahead of the next election Obama needs support sound, so this can be one way that Obama can win the next election ...  Cool

The administration knows hooking the people on as many government programs as possible is the way to their success.

I've been using Firefox for several years and pretty satisfied with its overall capabilities.
695  Other / Politics & Society / Re: It's Illegal to Feed the Homeless in Florida... WTF? on: November 11, 2014, 03:24:44 AM
The details are complicated. The issue boils down to politicians not wanting competition. If they allow private groups or individuals to prove they can care for those in need, it makes it harder to argue the government is needed for that purpose.
696  Other / Politics & Society / Re: First gay marriage in Russia on: November 11, 2014, 03:20:22 AM
Russia's on the right track with their laws against this nonsense. The "LGBT' crowd's so screwed up, it's a wonder even they can figure out what they are. It gets down to what "gender" they identify with today, I guess.
697  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Arrested for feeding homeless people on: November 11, 2014, 01:27:52 AM
Not sure why a city thinks they need to regulate this man's charity. There seem to be more homeless now than ever in my lifetime. Keeping them out of site isn't going to make them go away.
698  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How Bitcoin will die on: November 11, 2014, 01:16:10 AM
I highly believe it won't die and there's no such thing as real better coin than Bitcoin. It will probably stay on top of crypto currency world for so many years.
699  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pirates Bay founder is free on: November 11, 2014, 12:53:11 AM
Thankfully he is out. If the industry that pushed for the arrest thinks this is a warning to others it has only had the opposite effect. You now have a spokesperson for corruption and everything that is wrong with the system.

Revive TSC!!!! My Smurfs are still minting. Still an amazing concept for a coin.

I think there's really no hope for this coin after all that happened, so stop digging the thread from the grave.
