Looks good coin but can you clarify how many coins are PRE-Mining - first 100 blocks were mined for checkpoints and giveaways?
actually less... 87 or something. total coins in one wallet was 19mln and in another wallet 14/15mln. gave more then 60 % ( and 10% reserved ) away on bounties, giveaways and we will be giving away tomorrow ( in irc ). 1700 +0100 and 2300 +0100 this is an honest/fair coin. i have been mining this in pools as well and those coins are not included. reward structure has not been changed for previous blocks... it starts changing from 15k block and above. |

sorry about the irc bans ppl. we changed the windows wallet and github source, also did some additional updates on readme files and small cosmetic stuff we now use our own irc servers. some suggested to completely disable the node discovery through irc. we decided to keep it in for now. we failed to update the chinese language files since the translated files seem to be corrupt. since the need for this update was so high we decided to drop the (extra) translations we will be contacting translators soon - see updates section in op post for updated source and windows wallet - debian and macos still need to be recompiled. note that you can still contact support@freenode.net or klines@freenode.net to unban your freenode account/ip. |

Leafcoin got banned from irc ( and so were clients that were connected through irc )
we use irc channels to discover nodes.
we will setup an irc node of our own.
wallets should still function though.
we will add seeds.

Yeah this is shortterm .. but will a coin be worth more in let's say 3 months, or is it up.. and then down forever? I mean now i am mining like a few Thousand a day. Hardly worth the costs , but maybe if i keep 250k or something for few months it's actually worth something substancial...? No one can tell, depends entirely on the devs/community. We're gonna need ways to spend it (ie. Real-Life goods) cause right now we're practically trading thin air i am messaging a lot of ppl. Oh don't get me wrong, i'm not blaming you or anything, just saying that if we want this coin to be really worth something we're gonna need real ways to spend them no offense taken  |

WTF is wrong with MajorMiner pool? I got just 1.1 m coins for using ~25MH/s in 7 hours. [ woke up to see this !!! ]

Majorminer is coin's own pool and its shame!!!!
we are not the coins own pool, and we have been getting lots of crap sent to our stratum causing lag. No idea how 25MH/s is only getting you that low a share unless your one of the ones that somehow has a vardiff of 60, when it should be way higher, unless your using low powered pcs all on one worker. I'm at 3.5MH and got about 1.1M in a day. same here,... about 900k-1m per day using majorminer |

p2pool cannot be easily set for this coin, as the default protocol version used by the p2pool python scrypt is hardcoded to 70002 when this coin use version 80004.
There's not any improvement whatsoever over the previous ones, its was just set this way by the dev to avoid old clients to sync.
At least I didn't see anything major in the coin code to justify a new protocol version num.

Can you please kindly explain me how a pool that has 25% hashrate gets 1 block out of 10/15/20 total found blocks??? It must find ~25% blocks. Am I wrong here? Ok, not every 4th block (depends on luck), but like 3rd/6th/5th block etc.  It's called luck, go read up on how crypto currency works, look at all coins and all pools, they all have good times and bad times yes, look at pool statistics graph, time for finding blocks... This coin is really crap. Look at the sell orders already at these low levels, people dont even know how fast they have to dump this crap. No decent community, people just dumped as soon as they could and will continue to do so, market cap is already at 640BTC now... way to much... why does coinmarket.io add this kind of junk...

So this old chestnut of a problem.
Sent some coins from my wallet, and there have been zero confirmations. Tried restarting wallet, still no confirmations after an hour. Wallet has been reduced by the number of coins I wanted to send, but they have not arrived at the other end, and there are no confirmations showing.
Have tried launching wallet with -rescan switch, but still no confirmations.
Any advice on what can be done?
