681  Economy / Gambling / Re: From $17 to $37000!!! Craziest Crypto Win in 2023!!!! on: January 11, 2024, 01:20:16 PM
I have no idea why so many people are so surprised about this thread being a giant advertisement for their site when the truth is that it's pretty damn obvious that it is and this is an old-school strategy.

They probably felt the heat recently due to the whole wagering requirement controversy which is why they seem to be trying to divert our attention cleverly in this manner.
682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF officially approved! on: January 11, 2024, 05:47:19 AM
This was expected and unexpected simultaneously. I knew that they would approve ETFs at some point soon, but I didn't expect the news to get declared in this manner and the price is completely unfazed too.

These spot ETFs are already well established in some other countries, but it's good to see the US embracing them properly. All hail BTC!
683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 10, 2024, 05:57:07 PM
As you know, every Wednesday ICC Rankings update, and this time again Babar Azam got the number 1 position in the ODIs rankings, and the other three players below Babar are Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma, and in the ODI bowling ranking number 1 bowler is Keshav Maharaj, and the second is Hazlewood from Australia, and after him Muhammad Siraj took the place in the ranking, he got a third position, and after him, the spinner took the place Adam Zampa from the Australian team, and after him Afghanistan spinner came who's name is Rashid Khan.
Gill is climbing up the charts swiftly these days justifying his nickname as the prince of the Indian team pretty nicely while Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Babar are the usual suspects in these lists.

What surprised me was Keshav securing the number 1 position. I knew he bowled well recently, but I didn't expect him to top the chart.
684  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 10, 2024, 01:36:36 PM
But I do not think Roobet will fake their social media giveaways, what is it for them to gain if they fake it?  They have been hosting several contest already and they always deliver with integrity. Why not make a try on this Social Media promotion of Roobet, who knows maybe you will be the next lucky person to win.
I don't really think he meant that Roobet hosts fake giveaways. He probably meant to say that they are infested with fake bots which makes more sense though I could be completely wrong.

Also, I don't recommend wasting time on any social media giveaway and put that time to better use on more productive stuff instead.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 10, 2024, 06:01:47 AM
This was bound to happen. First of all, Sri Lanka doesn't have a large population. Their population is much lower than that of other South Asian nations such as India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. And secondly, they don't have a proper first class system. The first class system in Sri Lanka is comprised of clubs in Colombo playing against each other. There is no such system in any of the other cities such as Jaffna and Galle. When entire domestic system is concentrated in just one city, it blunts the emergence of talent from other regions.
It's not just that though. Their entire economy went to shit recently right after COVID thanks to the previous corrupt administration leading to a crazy rebellion which the whole world witnessed live.

This obviously affected their cricket squads too in a negative manner leading to their performance decreasing drastically across all formats recently.
686  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 09, 2024, 07:33:40 PM
The number of participants is huge, though. I've looked through the submitted numbers and then picked "998" because it looked like nobody has picked it, and now I hope that among 627 entries I will be the luckiest one. What are the odds? But anyway your chances are zero if you don't participate.
The number of participants might not be as huge as you think because most of those entries are probably bots/multi-accounts belonging to several people which is a common practice in X these days sadly.

This is why I prefer sticking to our forum contests where everything is 100% fair in comparison.
687  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which Casino and Sportsbook have the best UI? Which others can improve? on: January 09, 2024, 04:04:05 PM
I don't know about you guys, but I feel that it's easy to pinpoint the crypto gambling site with the worst UI which is Fairlay(Crypto betting exchange). It has a horrendous UI which makes it tough to navigate.

However, it's the only proper crypto betting exchange with decent liquidities which is why punters like me are managing somehow.
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 09, 2024, 12:29:41 PM
Exciting T20 series between India, Afghanistan and Pakistan, New Zealand will be starting in the next couple of days. Am more excited for the India-Afghanistan series thanks to the Afghans improving rapidly in all formats recently.

India will have home advantage, but Afghanistan is a force to reckon with these days in the T-20 format which is why the series could go either way.
689  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: January 09, 2024, 06:36:54 AM
for example, it was normal for a tennis game in this casino to have odds of 1.65 for the favorite while in other casinos to have odds of 1.55 or 1.57, so it wasn't a big difference to the point that people ran a high risk of seeing their funds confiscated in this casino, I I kept thinking, how people could be so blind or greedy to the point of thinking it was worth taking the risk of losing all the money just because of a difference of 0.10 in odds, it was something that didn't fit in my head. and unfortunately the reason why so many people fell for the scam made by this casino is why people are fooled by the odds offered by this casino
It actually makes sense as to why so many people got tempted by 1xbit odds since I got tempted by them too back when I was an amateur punter who didn't really know about its reputation.

There were so many great arbitrage opportunities due to those slight differences in odds, but I did my research and avoided investing there smartly.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 08, 2024, 07:51:58 PM
Sri Lanka's top order batted very poorly. The Sri Lankan team lost all four important wickets to collect only 53 runs. If Janith Liyanage was not able to bat well, Sri Lanka would have definitely lost this match. Also the batting of Theekshana, Chameera and Vandersay helped Sri Lanka reach the winning target.
What makes everything worse for the Lankans is that they struggled like this on their home turf against the visiting side who is weaker than them which pretty much says everything about their reputation these days.

The old Sri Lankan side which had players like Sangakkara, Jayawardene, Jayasuriya, Dilshan, Vaas, Murali etc was in another league when compared to them.
691  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sports betting arbitrage on: January 08, 2024, 05:28:45 PM
Thank you all for your advice and opinions. To sum up your posts it can be said, that technically it's achievable, but the profits are small, there are many risks, the main of which is the need to keep a large amount of funds in many casinos and the risk of freezing the account, because casinos are very sensitive to such strategies. But I still don't fully understand why. After all, the casino is only an operator, and the provider is only an intermediary between players and not the other party to the bet. Am I wrong here?
As I mentioned in my earlier post, many of the posters in this thread are clueless about arbing and posted a lot of gibberish. If you did your research properly, you would have learnt that the only major risk to arbing is getting limited.

Very, very few sites tend to ban arbitrageurs and steal their funds. Also, bets don't get voided because of arbing. They get voided because of match fixing, player injuries etc.
692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 08, 2024, 01:10:04 PM
Looks like Sri Lanka will easily win their ongoing match against Zimbabwe thanks to the low target and home turf advantage as expected. I placed a bet on the Lankans and am expecting decent profits.

I have no idea why anyone would bet on Zimbabwe considering the fact that they lost repeatedly against the Irish recently.
693  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 08, 2024, 06:03:18 AM
Gambling is like trading and investment, I recommend people to withdraw initial capital before continue to do their investment, trading or gambling.

If they can use this strategy, they will be able to keep their initial capital safely. It is clear that this strategy only works if they already get profit, and it gives them opportunity to withdrawal and save their initial capital.

It's very popular to see investors, traders, gamblers who win big but does not have good strategy, and later they lose big.
This is easier said than done. Most gamblers lack proper self-control due to which they end up gambling away their funds in the long-term despite being aware of all the stuff that you mentioned.

The ones who possess great willpower are few and far in between and they minimise their losses/win against the house in the long-term.
694  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sports betting arbitrage on: January 07, 2024, 08:08:20 PM
I found so many posts in this thread silly and nonsensical. They don't really know much about arbitrage betting and are stating hilarious stuff. As a seasoned arber myself, I can confidently say that it's certainly doable, but it has its limitations.

Firstly, sportsbooks don't ban arbers. They limit them. Secondly, I have earned decent profits using this strategy with small-moderate amounts and never got limited.

My favorite arbing software is surebet and I usually stick to popular markets in order to avoid getting limited.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 07, 2024, 05:49:42 PM
Warner has last series but also the luckiest series of his career where he was dropped so many times by Pakistani fielders. You cant win a test match match if you regularly drop catches of key players. Pakistan was in this series without its key fast bowlers like Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah while Shaheen Shah got unfit in last match. I wrote earlier that Australia is not a place where you try your new bowlers or batsmen.
Many of their team members were selected thanks to political interference which is one of the reasons why they underperformed in this test series. Am happy they dropped Warner again and again because that legend deserved a 50 in his final test and ODI.

Am just happy that we will still get to see him play in the T20 format and franchise leagues.
696  Economy / Economics / Re: How influential is crypto worldwide? on: January 07, 2024, 01:07:18 PM
This is a bad comparison op. Comparing something like the stock exchange which is 100% centralised to crypto like BTC which is centralised only to a certain extent doesn't really make much sense to me.

BTC did what none of those companies could ever achieve which is taking some of the power from the elites and shifting it to the commoners in a small and meaningful way.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 07, 2024, 05:50:30 AM
The point table is looking alright. Australia will strengthen their position, considering their next series is against Windies and then away series against NZ and SL. I guess they will fix their spot for the finals. For next spot fight should be between IND, NZ, and to some extent PAK if they manage to perform well.
Whichever team ends up going through to the finals would gladly want India to end up on the other side because we all know how good they are at choking in major events these days.

Jokes aside, I feel that Australia will definitely secure a finals spot as you mentioned, but it's way too early to tell who will grab the other spot.

699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 06, 2024, 05:42:39 PM
I would love to be the game as it is supposed to be as much as I am getting entertained, and not just this particular test and everyone who is fan of cricket will agree that white ball cricket especially T20 is destroying the OG formats and if it goes like this on and on for a while then we may see 5 year over leagues too because we already have T10.
It all comes down to how much we value our time. We get more and more busier as time passes due to which the amount of time alloted to watching sports events keeps decreasing.

This is why short formats like the T20 and T10 are gaining more popularity and are replacing the OG formats. Quality over quantity!

By the way, has the user smoothly received all their winnings? I hope there are no obstacles making it difficult for them to withdraw their money. This could be a great marketing strategy for you all and attract even more users.
He probably did since they proudly declared this news through this thread. If he didn't already submit his KYC, he would have submitted it right away to make sure that he received his winnings swiftly.

I wonder how much taxes he had to pay on such a crazy big amount. Extremely lucky dude!
