681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: March 19, 2017, 12:15:20 PM
Bitcoin was created to free the people from banking sector. Why do you need a bitcoin bank providing interest when you already get huge returns from your bitcoins? If you are worried about losing your investment in trading, then just keep your bitcoins as investment. Its enough to yield you profits.
682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Anonymity on: March 19, 2017, 11:53:05 AM
Bitcoin is not fully anonymous. Its pseudo anonymous.Transactions are registered in the block chain. Its not like Monero where transactions are fully anonymous and which is largely welcomed and adopted by dark markets.
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even now in 2017, why is bitcoin *still* not accepted as a major currency? on: March 19, 2017, 11:46:50 AM
High adoption should be made possible.Bitcoin should be made familiar to shop owners and general people. Then only,i would have a chance of being accepted as a major currency. Its highly volatile nature is also a reason for it not being accepted as a major currency.
684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The man does have a point - Roger Ver on: March 19, 2017, 11:42:23 AM
He has become a bitcoin antichrist and he just wants to make some huge profits via BU.
685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin to the space on: March 19, 2017, 11:33:44 AM

686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin is resistant to state control. on: March 19, 2017, 11:15:17 AM
A new academic paper has mentioned bitcoin as resistant to state control. It says the following reasons for it.Bitcoin is not minted in a physical place,it operates under encryption and places a numerical ceiling on the number that can be created.Just like internet, bitcoin is multijurisdictional and so one state cannot shut it down and mkiners and users can move anywhere they want.
687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Antpool dedicates 75%Hashrate towards BU on: March 19, 2017, 11:03:01 AM
The largest mining pool Antpool dedicates 75% hashpower towards BU.The Antpool commands 16.6% of global hash rate.On march 7,it initiated a small percentage of its hash power to support BU and now after 10 days,to around 75%.Now 75 %of Antpool's hash rate is counting now towards BU and remaining 25% remaining neutral. What do you think of this move?
688  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will reach $1500? on: March 18, 2017, 06:15:30 PM
Future of bitcoin is unpredictable. My assumption is that by end of may 2017,bitcoin price would reach $1500.Bitcoin price has already raised after ETF disapproval and i expect the same thing would happen in this time of BU issue.Panic sellers will once again regret for their decision.
689  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say bye to Triple Digits on: March 18, 2017, 06:01:46 PM
Next stop: MOON  Grin
Bitcoin is like a long journey in the highways road and there might be some speed breakers minimise the speed and if you think it as end,its wrong.Likewise, price fall in bitcoin now is just temporary and bitcoin will soon speed up.I think the next stop willnot be moon and it will be Pluto instead.

691  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm dumping my bitcoins so you should on: March 18, 2017, 05:50:23 PM
What a shitty thread. **Thumbs down**

Are you a butthurt bear trying to get the price down so you can get in cheap or did you sell everything at 300?
I think he just wants to creat panic among bitcoin holders and just wish to buy bitcoins at a much cheaper price. But remember, people didnt even bothered about ETF disapproval and continued buying bitcoins, they would turn just a deaf ear to your shouts.
692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the split and when? on: March 18, 2017, 05:41:58 PM
So, I understand a BTC is about to happen and apparently this is the reason the price is dropping this bad, too.

  • What is the problem that is leading to a fork?
  • Is it really going to happen?
  • And if yes, when?

Novice questions. Thanks Smiley
Block size is the ongoing issue.
Hard fork cant stop the original block chain.
Hard fork supporters believe that after hard fork, there will be two chains, the original chain with old parameters and new chain with new parameters.
They believe that new chain will take over the old chain and making the old chain useless.
But the new chain cant function properly because the miners left with bitcoin wuld get more mining fees and BU miners will get low.So they all would once again move to old bitcoin block chain. So bitcoin will remain unshakeable.
693  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing money on bitcoin..! on: March 18, 2017, 05:24:10 PM
Nowadays many people are starting to invest money on bitcoin or the buy bitcoin..is this a good approach?
How this will influence us in future?
It would be a wise decision to invest money on bitcoin now i.e.,instead of investing in gold, investing in Digital gold.Bitcoin would be the only choice left for people in future as altcoins are proving to be just pump and dump and gold not giving huge returns.
694  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the price of Bitcoin going down so fast? on: March 18, 2017, 05:19:20 PM
Hi, I was trying to find a reason as to why bitcoin price is going down so rapidly? Google search didn't show any rock-solid reason.

Can anyone help me with the actual reason? Anything happened which is acting as a catalyst for this down-slide?

I would just say more people are getting panic due to fear of hard fork. So,they just want to sell off their bitcoins. But,they even dont know that even if a hard fork happens and BU comes, still they would be having their holdings in both the block chains. So,they could sell their BU and make some quick money. But the problem is they are not willing to even listen.Panic,Panic and just Panic.Thats a great opportunity for big whales to buy cheaper bitcoins who know well about bitcoins.
695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin business idea on: March 18, 2017, 05:11:36 PM

697  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitflyer: Japanese Bitcoin exchange with most trade volume on: March 18, 2017, 09:54:52 AM
Yes,bitflyer has overthrown US exchanges surprisingly.Japan seems to embrace bitcoin all of a sudden. The battle is between Flyer and Quoine to become largest bitcoin exchange in japan.China remains no1 in bitcoin trading with 91% of trading volumes.
698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: March 18, 2017, 09:22:19 AM
Guys I know that there are previous posts and polls regarding the highly suggested source of bitcoin but things always change do I want to know what is the current best source of bitcoin nowadays. Please participate on this poll and kindly tell us why that's your choice. Thanks in advance and God bless us more Wink
Trading is the best source of earning bitcoins ever since bitcoin was created. It is the most legit source.Mining could be called as the second source as huge amount of bitcoins are got as reward by mining.Gambling solely depends on luck and it has made lots of people to lose even their holdings.Although trading is the best source,it involves huge risks and professional traders gain huge amount of btc with their experience.
699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the Bitcoin Network if a World war Starts? on: March 18, 2017, 09:13:18 AM
Electricity and the Internet will protect the presence of bitcoin as long as it is. I do not think all countries will join in this if there is a world war.
If China goes into world war, the price of bitcoin will decrease. People will want to panic and sell bitcoins.

But I do not think it will be a world war from scratch.
Even if china goes into war,Bitcoin price will not decrease.Bitcoin mining will be shifted to other parts of world from china.Bitcoin holders would know the true value of bitcoins they hold since after the war, there would be huge unemployment and earning would be very difficult where bitcoin would be the best chance to sell and buy essential goods.
700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Investment: risk or benefit? on: March 18, 2017, 08:59:44 AM
-Benefits is you may use that bitcoin to invest in other Bitcoin services and invest bitcoin is safe, profit good
-Risk is that Bitcoin collapses and if countries and government accept Bitcoin, Bitcoin will have tax, your computer can be hacked
What’s your opinion?
No investment which gives high returns is without risk.Bitcoin, being the innovative currency involves huge risks but if you see the past history of bitcoin,we could see it has given huge returns on an overall view. When we see the upcoming progress in bitcoin industry,we could see there are huge benefits.Since bitcoin is highly volatile,i dont believe that any government could accept bitcoin as legal currency and so there would be no fear of tax.
