681  Economy / Economics / Re: Grexit on: June 28, 2015, 04:58:39 PM
Sounds like the vibe is the public will vote yes on the referendum.  So no grexit just higher taxes and whatever else they impose.
682  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tony Gallippi of BitPay suggests $600 by September on: June 28, 2015, 03:47:47 PM
It's not like bitcoin in regards to grexit is a all or nothing scenario.  I'm sure a small percentage of wealth will flow into bitcoin as the wealthy try to figure out the best ways to secure their fortunes.  High inflation will happen is Greece leaves the euro.

686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Matonis: If Bitcoin XT Succeeds You Can Kiss 21 Million Cap Goodbye on: June 27, 2015, 09:08:41 PM
People would just switch back to core.  This is a non issue.
687  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 27, 2015, 08:05:53 PM
Sure everybody in greece wont flock to bitcoin.  But some people WILL put some wealth there.  In a year we might look back at this as the catalyst that started a bull run.  Already started at $220ish a couple weeks ago really.
688  Economy / Speculation / Re: back to 220 tomorrow time to sell is now on: June 26, 2015, 11:23:55 PM
I think I read OP sold his coins before the big ATH so now he's mad at himself basicly and wants bitcoin to fail because he didn't make millions like he could have.
689  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Free speech just took a major hit here in the US! on: June 26, 2015, 06:25:03 PM
In a free market can't amazon sell whatever they want?
690  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Free speech just took a major hit here in the US! on: June 26, 2015, 06:04:15 PM
This isn't bitcoin related.
691  Economy / Speculation / Re: How would it affect bitcoin price if the Nasdaq went full bitcoin on: June 26, 2015, 12:05:35 AM
Depends how many colored coins they would need.  They would also need btc for transfer fees.  Is it correct that 1 bitcoin can make 99 million colored coins?
692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Goldman Sachs survey on: June 25, 2015, 11:10:03 PM
New Goldman Sachs survey.
http://www.coindesk.com/goldman-sachs-survey-millennials-bitcoin/

Despite the negative tone of the title I actually am encouraged by the survey.  Needs a bigger sample size.  But it says 22% of people that have never used bitcoin plan to use it in the future.  Only 5% have used it but will not use it again.  Showing most people that use bitcoin keep using it.
693  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 25, 2015, 04:17:24 PM
Funny thing is during all this accumulation period its just the top 1% of btc owners that are increasing their supply.  All the fud, trolls, negativity, etc..., is there too keep the average Joe scared to buy until its too late.  Only the real risk takers are fearless enough to keep buying during this downtrend.
694  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How Bitplay Pay Out Gamers on: June 25, 2015, 01:42:15 AM
Ads.
695  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ownership distribution vibes from Bitreserve on: June 25, 2015, 01:05:34 AM
That's a average of 7500 per person.  Doesn't seem too far out of the realm of possibility.
696  Economy / Speculation / Re: Amazon is going to accept bitcoin in the near future on: June 25, 2015, 12:35:41 AM
Again, why would a average Joe buy bitcoin on a exchange and pay a 1% fee just to go spend it at amazon?  In that scenario its more expensive to use bitcoin then credit card.  Now it would be different if we were on a uptrend and you bought bitcoin wanted 2 weeks to spend it and price was $10 higher.
697  Economy / Speculation / Re: Amazon is going to accept bitcoin in the near future on: June 24, 2015, 03:35:49 AM
If Amazon starts accepting BitCoins eBay would follow suit.
I can't even imagine how hight BTC would skyrocket if they accepted BTC as payment

Unless they offer a discount i dont think it will rise.  There is no incentive to buy bitcoin from a exchange and spend it at amazon.  Its a extra step and people already got there credit cards filed with amazon.
698  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you expect from the halving in 2016? on: June 24, 2015, 02:17:39 AM
If price doesn't double I'd say we have a serious problem.  It would basically mean adoption is decreaseing as less money needs to come in daily to maintain price.
699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: should i move my ''saving'' to Bitcoin? on: June 24, 2015, 01:45:27 AM
Bottom line is in 10-20 years do you want to be one of those guys saying "ya I knew of bitcoin back then but I was to scared to buy a significant amount."
700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the most expensive Thing you have bought with bitcoin? on: June 23, 2015, 11:25:36 PM
