681  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin always affected on: November 30, 2023, 11:27:11 PM
I apologize if this is a dumb question but the fact is that I don't know why.

My question is, why is Bitcoin market always affected by all economics news, example is the issues with US bank like the SVB. Thank you
The services provided by mixers happens to be an integral part to the essence of what is; be it to an individual or government or perhaps a body charged with the investigation of a situation that has to do with money laundering or the channel by which funds is distributed.
Mixers play a role of ensuring privacy at all cost and low cost for crypto users.
This in turn hinders a lot of progress on the part of an on going investigation in the case of an illegal transaction of which, mixers never distinguished between any but treat all transactions as same although, there policies separate them from anything illegal.
Still, having yo disrupt a process has always been the bane of mixers and a cause for trouble.
682  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bounty Manager isn't accountable. on: November 29, 2023, 11:24:07 PM
I assume the newbie account with the Cooper member who is the bounty manager is operated by someone who is used to doing this. This is just an assumption, there is no incriminating evidence yet. but from what the bounty manager does and the attitude of the bounty manager. clearly shows unprofessionalism.
There's nothing wrong with that, the forum allows you to create alt account as much as you want.
Obviously and bounty is very much a session and part of the forum but then, when you linger in this field (bounties) full of scams and worthless tokens, you’re often sure of what to expect.
More over, having a manager in a new account, I’ll live that one there.

Most times people work on a project, you as well be good to look up the manager of the project and that would by far serve some guarantee on fulfilling promises made to participants.

I can see that your manager @OP has been active through 28th November, you could as well @OP keep up talks with your manager, maybe he would update you on what the issue is and when you guys would get your reward.
683  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most Traders are Not Profitable on: November 29, 2023, 10:46:46 PM

Without having to dispute on claims you’ve made in the OP,
I would say, as much as some of these guys actually make money through the ads view on the content they create and other programs they host through there channel(s), some of them are getting some true success.

A quick note:
The term we mainly refer to as professional traders have come with a different definition as against what it’s assumed to be which is; traders that have a good level of expertise on there trades or happens to be pretty successful.
Professional traders are individuals who trade on behalf on an institution (institutional traders) and are being paid for their services.

Something to note, we have more day to traders newbie and petty traders than we could have of any self proclaimed expert traders and as such, they’ve got to be more losses than profit to some individuals, that in itself is a fact.

The match between Bayern Munich and Copenhagen ended 0-0. I was so impressed by Copenhagen's performance tonight that they were able to hold Bayern Munich until the 90th minute. Bayern Munich were denied a penalty in the final minutes, which the referee ruled out after consulting the VAR. They should be grateful for the VAR's intervention because it was so close to the defender's arm that it would have been given. It will be painful for them if Bayern was given the penalty after holding Bayern Munich for 90 minutes. Copenhagen's chances of progressing to the next round of the competition have been boosted; all they need now is a win in their final group stage match against Galatasaray.
Copenhagen sure did have a good game but, I can’t say that for Bayern Munich. I felt they had to win and they really did the most they could to achieve that but, Copenhagen was just that good to hold the game in a goalless draw down to the final whistle.
On top of that, it would have been very disappointing should VAR had given that penalty. I mean, it was an awkward situation, with the defense having his hands up and the ball coming off his armpit but, there was no intention there, he’s hand wasn’t in the way to instruct anything but somehow, the ball found itself in his armpit.
It was a good referee decision for me.

It's good to see BC.GAME team resolved all issues and came back in Bitcointalk. I see the team are launching a signature again and the review campaign that will help two biggest targets: receiving feedback from community to improve what your platform is lack of, what your previous management was weak; and advertise the platform again.

It will take time to actually come back and regain your reputation but it's a good refresh of the platform.
It was only a matter of time before the casino bounces back to its full potent. When you see a project does it best to be unwavering in there service, you could as well see a project that is mean well and the least project issues was just due to a little laxity within there ranks and customers corporation.

With the site being live on the forum with a campaign, having yet the same reputable manager in charge of its promotion and the many promotion I see them doing all over social media, popping up as ads, you could tell they are stronger now and have a more dedicated team to do the job.

Hope everyone is guided from the previous occurrences and issues that were allowed to linger for for too long, hope customer service is given utmost priority and hope the customers see the effort from the staff in issue resolution, be reasonable with them, exercise patience where need be and don’t be too quick to give negative attributes to a brand that means well. Hope you guys stick around some more @BC.G
686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. on: November 27, 2023, 11:59:22 PM
If a 30k investment (basically a car) in 2023 can make me a 1 million dollar reward by 2030, I call that get rich quick.
7 years is quick, and hodling doesn't require skills.
That’s the sort of approach I like to see people view it from.
Not displacing the possibilities but realizing that it could happen, if it must. Not a must but, if it does happen, you appreciate it for the time it took and you as well is ever ready and willing to do even more time to archive your set goals for it.
Even at that, it never means you would have to take profit because you see your investment all reading in the positive. You could as well wait on it to take you through your future. Bitcoin has come a very short way to be all worked up about the profit your might have seen in 5-7-10years.

Understand that there are potentials, as much as you hope not to be greedy, as much as you hope not to lose and as far as contentment goes, don’t let lack of patience or the merry you hope to merry today withhold you from that which you could achieve. be patient and let it continue to unravel in your life time.
687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do I find a Balance Here? on: November 27, 2023, 11:47:17 PM
I view this as a personal contribution to the broader acceptance and utilization of Bitcoin. On the other hand, it means that it will disrupt my plan of holding 100%. How do I find a balance between supporting this business that just started accepting Bitcoin and adhering to my investment strategy of long-term hodling?
Like you said, it’s your way to foster acceptance by patronage through the use of Bitcoin. It ain’t a prerequisite and as such, you could always choose between that which gives you the most comfort.
Don’t fuel your desire or want to do by disrupting your need to do.

As far as payment media goes, it’s often about that which gives you much convince. You can’t go about patronizing just any and every Bitcoin accepting business out there. You would as well get to liquidate your entire hodling in the name of patronage to foster adoption.

Adoption will come when it will and it has been creeping to the stage still. While your little efforts might help, don’t allow it to make you lose out on hodling in the process. The balance between hodling and spending Bitcoin for a currency should be when the need applies. That’s your best move in these days where Bitcoin still serves for an asset and a little for a currency.

                                         Fulham vs wolves

It's 69 minutes played so far and Fulham are winning 2-1, wolves can still make out something out if this game.
Wolverhampton could be such fighters and they did fought pretty hard to stay in this game but blew it in the end. It was a game where we found Wolves coming back after every lead by Fulham but, with a plus minutes penalty, there is very little they could do about that and even against another good side like Fulham. 3 penalties in one game, that’s how tight and packed the game was. In the end, Fulham did manage it to 3 points with Williams scoring 2 great penalties.

Arsenal will keeping for a better spot on EPL table this season because they messed up big time their golden opportunities of claiming the league title last season and they will leave to regret their relenting actions, the only way they can make amends is lifting the trophy this season with this outstanding squad.

Because Arsenal is in first place doesn’t mean they will be able to maintain it until the end of the season. Arsenal maintained first position from the beginning of the season until the season was about to end before they started misbehaving. Lots of people had confidence in Arsenal last season to win the league due to their Incredible performance, but towards the end of the season, they started losing points anyhow, they lost matches that they are not suppose to lose, then Manchester City took the first position from them.
As much of a reality that could be, it doesn’t dispute the fact that, they actually could.
A lot of lesson needed to be learnt from last season and they possibly could have learnt. One of the issues with the Arsenal team last season was over dependency and fatigue of the players towards the end of the season. That was due to the fact that, their squad depth was almost zero and they weren’t doing much of rotation on the team. Something Arteta would be looking to improve this season.

Had Douglas Luiz as my Auto sub for Bowen, I'm currently with red arrow but could move up with Douglas Luiz 7 points.
Noted that, lucky you.
Just when we all thought it was safe having Bowen on and there he was, on the bench. I took a wrong gamble with him but, can’t say I had better on my sub. Might get 3points off the bench with two players off my team for the GW @Bowen @Gusto but, that still isn’t taking my team anywhere I wanna be.
I had high expectations on Solanke but, he underperformed.

Darwin and Mudyrk are so similar, so much potentials, but still so much to learn. I hope the best for them both in the future.

Darwin is already up there I can't say the same for Mudryk.
Am I getting that right?
Maybe Mudryk is in the wrong team. Same feelings I had about J. Felix before he joined Barcelona and now we could all attest to his potent. Mudryk is doing so much but, he isn’t shining like he ought to.

Can’t say the same for Darwin. Like, his been trying to create something with Salah lately but, his so inconsistent and always missing the target. Just imagine him before the international break, he literally sent a ball flying in front of goal. What sort of a player is that. Yeah, before you say it happens, it tells a lot about his quality of play as a player. Haaland can’t miss that!
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 26, 2023, 11:53:53 PM
It would be a bad choice in their decision if they think tottenham is stronger and don't look in detail in the last two matches. Sometimes betting requires detail in checking the readiness of a team to bet on to be able to gain profits in the bets we make. I'm not surprised that Aston Villa managed to steal 3 points at home to Tottenham because Tottenham have recently lost their best form and a storm of injuries has hit their players.
Of course. These stats to the team and game exists to be looked at in reaching a verdict on what a more better team would look like in a fixture. Although, we all know Tottenham has been good lately, not until the Chelsea game, the Maddison injury situation and a little instability in the team.
In fact, I had to look at the Supper Sport Fantasy show on advices on who was the better choice for a captain in the yet to be concluded game week and playing as a safe manager, for those who had Haaland, he was evidently the safe choice that could be guaranteed to score against any team.
Like it was said, he scored as opposed to M. Salah and H. Son.

Same thing applies to other stats with regards to betting as per what team stands a better chance to win a game, score more goals and what have you in the betting market.
I might have hoped on Spurs to not lose but, the team has lost its magic in Maddison and as such, could be subjected to a lot at the time.
691  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Implications of War on Individuals on: November 26, 2023, 11:44:50 PM
I hate wars. I hate conflicts. Both they are almost unavailable. Wars and conflicts disrupts lives.
No one likes wars, not even the soldiers at the frontline.
War is like a parasite with tentacles that drains the living day light out of everything it touches. It doesn’t benefit anyone or any side to the story, yet you find this conflict situations existing within us.
Being prone to anger, means you could be prone to conflict and war. It’s a part of our human existence and one that can end humanity.

War ends in minutes the civilization that has taken a lifetime to build, it reduces nations to rubbles and holds nothing back on its path to destruction.
My heart goes to those having to endure this process at the time and hope the rest of our world do the most they could to support every side. Every fighting side is a victim and a part to humanity. War is the real enemy here and not the people at war with themselves. Let’s our coexist and know that we share this world together and we need ourselves to survive.
692  Economy / Economics / Re: Economists advise caution in trading in Bitcoin currency on: November 26, 2023, 11:25:00 PM
Bitcoin currency has recently come into the limelight as the value of the currency has skyrocketed to record highs. As a result many people are leaning towards buying this Bitcoin. However, many experts are warning about this.

How safe are Bitcoin transactions?

Are there really expert economists in our world today…
Then why is the finance of almost every nation in so much shit! Inflation here and there with the citizens been left to suffer.
What role are they really playing to mitigate what is been done already and avoid further future occurrences.
Why did Bitcoin suddenly became the focus of expert economists and why is a shift from it the best solution?

He said that now many people are investing in it for more money. In such cases, if these people suddenly withdraw from the market, many will be in danger.

"That's our fear," the economist warned. "Since there is no authority, there is no room for more supply of money. So there is no mechanism to control when it collapses or goes up."

He said, the central bank of Bangladesh is saying not to invest in Bitcoin. It is not an authorized currency. It is not worth investing in it.
These are just words of a people who have been so deep in the centralized system that, anything outside its grasps is considered yo be doomed to fail. I guess they never saw Bitcoin making this milestone and it did and as much as they continue to project these doom hypothesis, they will as well wait on it yo materialize but never get to witness it happen.

Don’t wait on no one to advise you differently. Get your perspective and decided today on how yo ho about safe guarding your future through investment and what have you. Experts in Economics aren’t experts in Bitcoin or decentralization.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 26, 2023, 11:10:15 PM
I think their problem was when they were beaten by Chelsea and at that moment their mentality immediately fell in the next match. Since the start of the season, their performance has surprised us because they were able to perform better when they didn't have Harry Kane in their squad, but in the last 3 matches, Tottenham experienced a significant decline in performance due to consecutive defeats. Son is playing quite well, he is even one of the players who plays quite an active role in Tottenham front line, but without the right partner he can't do much in the last 3 matches.
When they faced Chelsea, there was a lot at stake as, they were to face a known ally in Pochettino, who has something to prove and worst still, Spurs made a lot of mistakes in that game, caught 2 red cards. I mean, even though Chelsea isn’t at its best, that’s a game they’ve got to win.
Besides, we had Spurs playing high line all through that game and has been catching Sterling and Jackson offside all the time, it was only a matter of time before they figure things out and they did before the goals came pouring.

It wasn’t the same situation for Spurs when they faced Aston Villa today. Can’t say it was a mentality thing for them but, the absence of their play maker in Maddison has got to put the team in deep stress. No one is being that creative no more and Som can only do so much.

You are wrong.

icopress has it as easy as looking at bpip.org for the difference between merit earned and total.
My bad!
I guess I now know that to the technique about aspect to the management even though, it’s got nothing to do with me. My thoughts at the time though.
695  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] [banned mixer] - CoinJoin Mixer | Sig Campaign | Up to 0.0048 BTC/W on: November 25, 2023, 01:24:58 PM
Little curiosity : does above merit count take into consideration only earned merit or does it include airdropped one too?

Only those earned are counted.
For real!
Would the manager want to take the time out to decipher on what is airdropped or earned? Maybe he would if he wants but, does it make a lot of difference? I think not. There have got to be benefits from having been around for so long and having those airdropped merit count alongside your earned merits is one.

Perhaps Icopress might get to clear on that later but, I don’t think the manager separates them in its consideration. I think it’s based on what you’ve got as your merit count.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: November 25, 2023, 09:50:30 AM
Agree on Bowen - I am keeping both him and White. I feel both will play.

Bowen was seen in full training, and based on what Moyes said about him, I'm convinced he'll start tomorrow. If you have him, don't sell, and if you don't, don't buy.

Mitoma has been ruled out of tomorrow's game; feel terrible for the youngster, who hasn't been himself this season.

Halaand is back to full training as expected
Just what I would have liked to see. Over the GW12 and international break, a lot of players has been flagged with injury although of late, very few have come up with missing games like the likes of Kabore of which isn’t a team player for most of us and Mitoma, well his not been at his best lately.

Bowen has been seen in training but, I’m having complicated thoughts on who’s the best option here.
Bowen would be playing against Burnley, a defensive side who I hope would be capitalizing on counter attack to make their points in the game and with Bowen having some minor knee injury that has passed through scan, am I supposed to expect the best of him in this game to keep him? Or should I be looking towards getting,
Alvarez off my bench to substitute for Bowen. Manchester City will be facing Liverpool in the early kick off and we expect a difficult game but with both being good scoring sides, there might be goals from those who’ve got good sight of it, Alvarez have got that, could produce some assists as well but, his hardly the focus of the team in this game, what he could do, we would see Bernardo Silva, Foden and Doku, could attempt it too.

Will it be a good choice having Alvarez on the bench as against Bowen or perhaps both of them would be better featured and then Solanke gets to hit the bench…
697  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is the second most popular investment in "France" on: November 24, 2023, 11:50:55 PM
I can see that the survey looks very legit. More than 8k people were surveyed, and the results are supposedly representative of the adult population, which I think it's probably true.
With more than 8,000 individuals haven’t participated in the survey, it is a good enough number to consider it valid while focusing within that particular age grade of 36-50 range but, using it for a generalization on the entire France population, it’s hardly significant as this consists of various age grades as per below 36 and above 50 years of age. More over, the French population numbers about, 67.75 million persons of which, a survey of 8,000 is highly insignificant too.

On top of that, it’s a welcomed development and tells a lot on how the cryptocurrency industry has grown in France within its short life span and how much could be expected in years. Despite the lack of support from the government, the consensus of the people is all it needs and it’s getting it.
698  Economy / Economics / Re: this makes a huge impact on the economy. on: November 24, 2023, 11:35:09 PM
I noticed majority of the people in my area tend to spend more money then usual when they get their salary, like buying things they don't really need.
I said majority of people because my dad owns a grocery store, I have noticed that most of the customers tend to buy more stuff on the 1st and 10th day of the month because on these days they get paid in my country.
I already seeing this pattern on news or business related youtube videos, but I didn't think it was a big deal.
Now I realized that its very important to consider this behavior of people when making business decisions because it can have a big impact on the sales or finances.
I am surprised by it because in my family we usually buy only things we really need, I am starting to understand how other people's spending habits can affect the business.
It’s nothing out of the ordinary that people tend to spend more money when they’ve got more or were just recently paid, especially within a family.
One thing I can’t say for sure is, either it is them buying what they need or just spending money on what they don’t need. I think most times, people who fall within this category of living on wages/salary from a job, they hardly spend more money on what they don’t need because, they are conscious on how much time it would take them to have that bank refilled once exhaust.
Other times, you might just find people taking loans to satisfy their excesses and are often left with nothing when the pay comes.
It’s truly a living the rat race but, I don’t think it’s often about what isn’t needed. Very few would spend money this way.
