681  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic did push the world towards a more digital age. on: October 28, 2020, 11:39:24 AM
The pandemic did push the world towards a more digital age. There has been a change in consumer behavior and buying pattern. Most physical businesses and public businesses have been hit hard because of the strict government rules and regulations on public gatherings.
That's true, the pandemic brings so much effect on the changes of the behavior of buying pattern of individual because of the social distancing and the fear of acquiring the virus on which I think is a good idea for everyone to avoid the pandemic, these days the food delivery service becomes in demand because they don't need to go outside, they just only need to order on some delivery application.
People have been forced to reduce to the nearest minimum the time they spend in public places like shopping malls, supermarkets and also the amount of money they spend on non Essentials goods and services.
Yeah, it is because of curfew hours but I don't think that they are forced to spend how much money they going to use because it is their own money and it is their own decision on how to budget it. Authorities are not responsible for it.

684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Algeria must use bitcoin on: October 28, 2020, 06:39:56 AM
That would be a good move for the part of the Algerian, bitcoin may help them for financial status. I am thinking if that project would be already organized and good for the time you have given.
Support our project by donating bitcoin
Your intention is good but with this, you are making other members include me doubt, many scammers in this virtual world are trying to get some money for other people, I don't think that there would be someone who will donate for this unless you have strong evidence for the thing that you are going to do for the donation.
685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Missed the golden opportunity, now what?? on: October 28, 2020, 04:21:54 AM
We're still not too late, there are still so many opportunities that might happen to us, I think there are only a few people who earn so much money when the price of the bitcoin is very low and rose to $10k because no one expects that it would happen, of course, that time when the price of the bitcoin is too low, people think that it would stick to it or they don't know yet the volatility of the bitcoin.

Imagine if you are one of those persons who believe that bitcoin could rise too much compared to the value way back in 2009 and make some investment then I think you are so rich now but I don't think that you will wait for so many years before you sell your bitcoin, well, in fact, you don't have any idea what would happen in the next other days and besides cryptocurrency is not that so familiar that time.
686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Constructive Financial Advice Needed on: October 28, 2020, 03:24:23 AM
I just want to give my all sympathy to you, I know how hard our life is especially for those unfortunate one, I am also like you who will not eat something whenever I did not work in real life, I don't have enough savings for me to survive and my family cannot support me for my needs and wants. Upon reading your story, I know how hard it is but do not be too sad for the situation you have right now because everything is possible to happen for a person like you, I can see your potential to succeed in the future because of your hard work. Imagine aging 15-16 you are already working, that was too young but you did it, well done by that.

Just continue the hard work in real life, we can consider cryptocurrency as our alternative source of income but as of your current situation, investing should not be advisable because of volatility and high risk, investing is good if you have extra money because we should expect losing.
687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: October 28, 2020, 02:21:19 AM
This is the thing if no one knows about your seed or any wallet information you have then your bitcoin will be stored on the wallet forever, If ever someone dies and then he/she do no give any clue about the seeds then the money that is in the wallet will be wasted, all your hard works and time earning and saving that money would be a waste of time because no one can access it, that is the worst thing that might happen.

For me, I suggest that there should be someone you trust who knows about your seed, it could be your family, relatives or closest friends because there are many things that might happen to everyone, we cannot predict the future, everything can happen for a second. Imagine you spent so many years just to acquire the amount of money you have then all of a sudden you die without someone who can benefit from all of your hard work.
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In-play or pre-match staking on: October 27, 2020, 05:57:52 AM
I did noticed predicting football is not easy, that is why betting company can not go bankrupted, people always stake and either gain or lose, but most people do lose. That is why we should only take betting for fun, and using only the funds that we can afford to lose to bet, and not also be addicted.
That's true but it is not only for football predicting because all games can be risky, some people considered gambling as a way of their entertainment and some are for earning money purposes, those who only want entertainment are those who are not an active gambler, maybe they are playing when they are with their friends just like me while those people who considered gambling as a source of income are those who can be called as an active gambler, they are already familiar about gambling and they also have the strategy and skills to win the game.
I will like you people to let us discuss about pre-match type of staking or in-play staking in football, which one did you prefer? Which one is more risky?
Both are risky but I would still choose to play on pre match type because I never watch live sports.
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could destroy economy on: October 27, 2020, 05:16:18 AM
All the criminals you have stated above using bitcoin can also happen using fiat currency, I have seen many topics about it and they are exaggerating the cryptocurrency in good ways and bad ways well in fact both fiat currency and cryptocurrency can do the same thing, they seem explaining it like the only cryptocurrency can be.

What's the point with comparing both rich and poor people if both can do the same thing, no matter how rich or poor you are you may earn and lose your money from investing

Even though I don't know you in person, I still want to express my greatest condolences at the news of Lauda's sudden death. May  Lauda rest in peace, thank you for all the help you gave for this forum, you will never be forgotten.

You will be missed forever and always. The good knowledge, information, reputation, kindness, and guidance you shared with us will always speak of a great person that you were. Rest in peace!

Not easy to tell if you have a fucked up sense of humour or just shitposting... looking at your post history I think I'd go with the latter.
What's the problem? I am just giving my condolences to one of the reputable members of the forum.

Lauda is not dead, she just locked up her account.
Ahhhmm, okay okay my bad, I just misunderstood the message lol, sorry for the words, my bad.

693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best places for Crypto Traders on: October 26, 2020, 01:45:17 AM
Just remember that all these platforms have scammers if you are a beginner make sure that you are only looking for knowledge and not money because you may encounter many scams on any platform. Do not also interact too much with strangers, many scammers are good at communicating and persuading but if you are good enough about the crypto world, no matter how good she or he is you will not get scammed.

Better to gain knowledge first before minding on earning money, there are many platforms we can use to learn much information, just focus on it.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just a Question... on: October 25, 2020, 11:14:28 AM
I am an active user of discord and I find it so comfortable using it compared to the telegram, discord has so many channels that you can use for discussion it is also good for the communication of every gamer, and besides there are many scammers that you may encounter on telegram but there are still some websites and projects that are still using telegram for promotion because there are still many users of that application.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 25, 2020, 09:11:48 AM
You know what, the best thing to do to avoid the losing process or chasing of losing is to know how much money you can afford to lose, it will lessen the pain from losing. this is the main problem for every gambler whenever they lose their money on gambling, they won't quit unless they recover the money that has lost but in the end, you will still end up losing, if you can't control yourself from gambling then do not gamble because that will happen to you when you lose money on gambling, this is also somehow related to this quote. “Quit while you’re ahead. All the best gamblers do.” -Baltasar Gracián y Morales. you should always know when to quit no matter the situation is.

We can avoid chasing losses by doing these things:
1. Set a loss limit and discipline yourself - it would be hard for you to follow your losing limit if you can not discipline yourself.
2. Take a break - when you think that you keep on losing then it is time for you to take a break.
3. Do not take it personally - I know the feeling of being a loser but that is gambling it is a high-risk way of earning money, we should not take it personally, just accept the fact that it is hard to win in the gamble.
4. Leave the casino if you can.
696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more important bitcoin or fiat? on: October 25, 2020, 07:19:32 AM
Both currencies have their purpose and both are important in different ways,

The stability of fiat currency allows the government to steer the recession and inflation of the economy, that is why it stays as the standard currency for all time, it also has greater control liquidity that is good for the economy. cryptocurrency becomes popular as well because of such reasons:
+fast transaction compared to fiat currency
+lower transaction fees
+privacy
+good for investment
Quote
Again, this is just my opinion because for me it seems that cryptocurrency has been exaggerated, over rated and fiat currency is being overkilled
It is not that fiat currency becomes being overkilled it is just some people see what they want and need on cryptocurrency, there are many opportunities we can have in crypto so we cannot blame those who prefer this one.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling could be used to pay for covid problems on: October 25, 2020, 04:23:12 AM
It is essential for the government because they will get more profit from that, the government is always looking for some ways to earn money and they see online gambling may help for the pandemic virus, even though their intention is good, there are still benefits from them becuzs eof having hidden charges mentioned above.
Just ironic though, governments are blaming gambling because they said that it is harmful specially if someone becomes an addict.
Not all because some casino gambling is owned by the government and it is one of their way to gain more profit so they wouldn't blame it at all and besides it depends on the person if he or she is going to be addicted or not, it is in the proper control and good mindset.
698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why criminals still use Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2020, 02:42:27 AM
Criminals will always use bitcoin to do criminal activities because of thinking that they cannot be traced when using a bitcoin, this is a common mistake for every people they though they when they have transactions with a cryptocurrency they think that they are now safe and the government won't see it but it is a wrong mind concept.

Cryptocurrency are also used int such dark web and they ar eusing cryptocurrency as a means of payment for dealing such criminal activities, money laundering, illegal drugs, buying dangerous weapon, etc.
699  Other / Meta / Re: The future of Bitcointalk: Low Ranking Top Merit earners in the past 30 days on: October 25, 2020, 02:00:43 AM
    1. Member Alucard1 (Trust: +0 / =0 / -0) earned 51 Merit in 30 days (BPIP)
This is such a great feeling seeing your profile on a top list of member rank, I registered for this account in May 2020 but as a newbie, I encountered such a hard thing to earn merit because of being a low-quality poster and I am not familiar with cryptocurrency, reading and searching helps me so good for understanding cryptocurrency

I started receiving a good number of merits on August 31 after creating a topic that I posted in beginners&help but it has been moved to off-topic, this is the topic I created that time Contact tracer vs scammers. upon receiving 2 merits from this topic, it makes me determined and motivated on creating such quality posts and becomes being active in the forum. I joined some contests which also a big help for me to gain merits.

As of now, I still cannot say that I am a quality poster because I find it so hard of creating good topics, I commonly received merits from commenting on other topics but anyway thank you so much big for all members who help me to achieve things I have now and a big appreciation to sir LoyceV for creating this lists and for making me now a full member.
700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did bitcoin lose its value? on: October 24, 2020, 08:48:20 PM
The market value of Bitcoin reduced during the pandemic but it is not on the basis of the dollar value, bitcoin is measured in different fiat values and the reduction in the values of those fiat is not what instigates the change in value of Bitcoin. It definitely affects the conversion rate on the basis of the difference currency in each participating country. Bitcoin is volatile and It is definitely prone to the rise and fall.
There are some other guys that sold their bitcoin so that they have money even if there is an pandemic and cannot go outside due community quarantine but there are also some guys who invested on bitcoin so that they can earn even if the pandemic is still going on. The ratio of those two is the reason why do the price of bitcoin is getting higher. If there is a lot of trader, there is a lot of demand and the price of bitcoin is high. If there is a low number of trader, there will be not enough demand and the price will surely low.
