De vries seems to be coming closer to a deal and was released they will be announcing officially which team he wants to settle with for the start of the coming 2023 season.
https://www.crash.net/f1/news/1013764/1/gasly-s-alpine-deal-inches-closer-driver-market-dominoes-fall

While Gasly has already said he will be joining Alpine:
https://www.gpblog.com/en/news/142763/gasly-switch-to-alpine-to-be-announced-this-weekend.html

I also heard about these fines given out to Aston Martin and Red Bull for going over the spending cap.
https://www.express.co.uk/sport/f1-autosport/1677766/FIA-penalty-Red-Bull-Max-Verstappen-F1-title-cost-cap-Formula-One-news
They couldn't take the title away from a season done and dusted already, could they?

They did their investigation yesterday and decided towards Red bull's favor in the matter:
https://www.express.co.uk/sport/f1-autosport/1678519/max-verstappen-lewis-hamilton-red-bull-budget-cap-penalty-title

Looks like Lewis Hamilton has to go another season with his team in search for that record breaking title held by Michael Schumacher since they are tied:
https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.ill-always-be-with-mercedes-says-hamilton-as-he-opens-up-on-what-an-8th-title-would-mean-to-him.5X1vYXoxQtQmk6SDKourhO.html
I would guess that Max is not at fault here, hence they can't really take away his title. If Red Bull won the constructors last year, maybe they would have considered taking that instead but when we are talking about drivers, that's not Max's fault so it would be tough to take away his title, and that is why this decision was given.

Plus, it was a brand new year with some new regulations, so giving Red Bull some leeway on accounting problems, when the deal is not like they went overboard x2 what they were allowed to, just a tid bit, then it makes sense since it is not huge enough to make a difference. That is why I believe just a fine and move along is a great decision.
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 06, 2022, 06:38:11 PM
Chelsea have continued to show positive results since Graham Potter took charge of the team, finally they could beat AC Milan in the Champions League with a score of 3-0. In the next match in the Premier League they will face Wolves FC. With the appearance of their opponents at this time, Chelsea should be able to do the same as they did against AC Milan. Good opportunity to increase trust in them. We'll see if they will repeat the success in the previous match or not.
Just because they had one good game doesn't mean they will become good all over again, or it also doesn't mean that they will keep being bad, maybe they will recover and do better, who knows? This is why it's quite important for everyone to realize that it may not be anything just yet, do not come to any conclusions out of just one game.

For betting they are a very tough team to bet, because if you bet that they will win, they may end up losing or getting a draw, they haven't been good enough to see a win as a sure thing, but they are not bad enough that they would lose for sure neither so you would have hard time. I am still sensing a single bet against them is better, because they look like they will lose once every 3-4 games, and that would be profitable bet against them.
683  Economy / Economics / Re: Savings during inflation on: October 06, 2022, 07:48:04 AM
Yes this is why I do not save much in a bank. Usually one of my closest friends have advised me that if I had some decent amount of cash I should be putting it in a time deposit. But what she didn’t realize is that once she put that money in the bank, she doesn’t fully own it. In other words, it’s not in her full custody.

No disrespect though. But on the other hand, she also invested some BTC, ETH and BNB with her extra spare funds. But she stores it in a CEX and not a hardware wallet. I saved most of my money on Bitcoin and put it in a hardware wallet to ensure that it’s really safe rather than relying on a CEX or a non-custodial wallet that was created in the internet.
I do agree on the part where I put all my money in Binance so I understand your friend and why they did that, but at the end of the day putting it in the bank would be a terrible idea and I do not understand why that would be an easy decision to make for some people.

I get that they feel more comfortable there, which is fine but the reality is that we shouldn't be feeling comfortable and why do people feel secure and safe there is beyond my understanding. Bitcoin at least allows you to have the full control of your money and that full ownership could mean that nothing and nobody could ever disturb it at any moment and that's something you can't get with fiat.

Going with everything they have with a Messi on the team, versus going with all they have without him is a big difference. Other teams do not have a Messi, and that means they won't be able to produce the same 100% that Argentina could.

There are some other teams with similar powerful players, but not many have it at Messi level. Also, what we are talking about here is that when Messi was on his prime, they did not played at 100% off the pitch, management and coaching and team etc all had troubles, then when they are on the pitch they gave it all, but caused them to be a little worse. Same could happen for many teams in the world for sure.

Do only 50% bet 20$ every time if it fails do 60$ it fails do 150$ if it fails do 350$ if it fails do 900$ if it fails do 2300$

There is no way you will fail 7 times and if you do just increase the bet and you will get it back eventually even if you wait 12 times.

what you think on my method?
Doing so will only make your losses big and how sure you are you won't fail on the 7th time? Of course this isn't true. Even if you say that you are playing with a higher win chance, there's always a possibility that your loss streaks will exceed beyond your expectations.

This is the magic of every gambling sites. They will try to trick you first that you are winning but once your are comfortable and you try to increase your bets, that's going to be the time that they will get you. Your method is called martingale. This is popularly used on dice games. Up until now I've seen lots of players who are doing this despite knowing the fact that it was very risky.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum POW - ETHW on: October 05, 2022, 03:20:21 PM
what would be the alternatives when first-class smart contracts on a PoW blockchain are needed?
The term first-class is pretty subjective. It depends on some project goals and needs, so it requires some thorough consideration. While in fact ETHW is designed to not change the PoW consensus, and it's still on hype, but we cannot firmly predict of what the most suitable platform one must choose its cryptocurrency and its longevity.

ETC is also another option, it remains as the unmolested blockchain of Ethereum and do also supports smart contracts. ETH communities couldn't be more separated, but the trends as of now, people won't bat an eye too much on what platform the underlying applications rely on.
It just means whatever first class is in the reader’s mind. ETHW is just another thing that miners tried to keep alive, and as we all know miners do not have the power to keep something alive all by themselves, they need buyers and investors to keep it alive and why would people who are miners would choose this?

That’s the real question, if non-miners do not pick it, then there is no reason for this to get any attention at all, which in return means it will not grow to be bigger neither. Plus, starting something during bear market means that it could die before it could even get any hype, since there isn't any decent money in the crypto world these days.
687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 04, 2022, 08:30:00 PM
Udinese are really unstoppable now.

Honestly I was waiting for Verona to put an end to their winning streak today. They were so close to doing this after getting 1-0 ahead also. But Udinese scored the equalizer in the 70th minute first. It was still like they were going to lose two points however they somehow scored the winning goal in the stoppage time. It was a really high effort by them throughout the game though. They totally deserved this win but Verona were just annoyingly lucky against them. Now they are on a winning streak of six games and still only one point behind Napoli - Atalanta duo.
This Italian League season, Udinese has been the most outstanding team I have ever seen. I have a hunch that this Serie A season may bring perhaps the biggest shock. They will likely surpass Atalanta and Napoli in the league standings sooner rather than later if they keep up this pace of scoring a decent amount of goals and producing quality passes to control the game as they see fit.
Whenever I see these type of teams do so well at the start of the season, I always try to look for games to play against them, usually not against big teams but against mid table type of teams.

Because, I believe that even though it is not luck to have so many wins at the start, it's not easy to keep it going neither, meaning you are going to see them fail to keep it going, and they will have the confidence to play against bigger clubs like Inter or Milan or whoever and probably win, but they will have overconfidence against smaller teams and underestimate them and lose. That's the problem and I believe it is going to end up profiting me.
688  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: October 04, 2022, 06:55:54 PM
It is definitely an unreal amount, I really think that people should be looking at this like its worth something and not just "another gambler gambling" because it is not only a show for the whale that wagered, but for blackjack.fun as well. If they started to attract people who would gamble this much, it is an indication that they are doing something right, otherwise they couldn't get these whales.

And that does relay something to us as well, we were the ones who gambled here and made it a bigger place enough to attract these whales as well, and if they keep on wagering this much and if they lose money that means more funding for blackjack.fun to get bigger with that new funding as well.
That's the key point here. If we could understand that blackjack.fun is getting in the hands of the whales, that means there could be more money made by them which would benefit us. That is something people do not understand because they do not want whales, and they want to gamble as much as they can and win something from the competitions and all, but in reality we could definitely end up with something that is a lot more profitable in the long run if we could keep on investing at a good level.

This is totally understandable, but at the same time it's not profitable for any of us in the long run, and prevents any type of improvement on the casino itself.
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 04, 2022, 05:41:25 PM
After Sir Alex Ferguson Manchester United never been a good side with too many issues on and off the field but in current season they are doing some better which is surely a plus point even this is humiliated defeat and fans wants to forget as soon as possible but most chances they could be positive after this all and will have better result in coming matches because Manchester City is surely one of the best side in Premier League, and they have good system and quality players which are playing for years with this all they have good understanding but here in Manchester United we have now few good players those can improved quality and this team can turn into better side with the time.

There is no doubt every one was known about this result but with some good results there was hope they can do better but nothing happen which is surely bad for the all players and coach but for me now it's time for going ahead and think about how to work if they want to stay into top four until end of this season.
Sir Alex Ferguson seems to be at almost all the games, what I do not understand is why didn't he kept it going? After all, he is still spending so much time for the club, and he is still like an advisor to them and basically part of the management if you consider how much they care about his ideas.

I am not saying that he should get back now, it could be too late for that already, he should keep on being retired. But, I do believe that he retired too early, if he kept it up for another 5 years and managed to build a team that can sustain after he left, then it could have been a lot better for them whenever he left, and worked fine for them.
690  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does anyone think it will be much harder to buy bitcoin later on down the road? on: October 04, 2022, 06:51:31 AM
Just wanted everyone's thoughts on how easy it is to get bitcoin now, and what getting bitcoin might be like in the future? For example, I can simply go on cashapp and buy btc, send to a wallet I own the keys to. I can also use localbitcoins, paxful, I mean the list is kinda endless. Will that list become...not so endless in the future as the value gets higher?
In future the purchase of Bitcoin will be more easier than as if now and yeah you are right its simply will be like load money in an app and buy Bitcoin with whatever the market price along with the commission. But now we have more ways to buy Bitcoin anonymously and I am not sure there will be many ways in the future as well to buy Bitcoin.
actually depend in implementation of those countries that has banning , because if the technology in the future will allow them to detect and stop any transactions then it will be the way as hard to find bitcoin purchasing in their region though lucky for those who has no restrictions .
Detect? How would you be able to not detect it right now anyway? If you are using a centralized exchange to turn your crypto into fiat, or fiat into crypto that means you are giving your KYC to that exchange and that means the government would always be able to know how much crypto you have. This is of course not a thing that would matter if you are purely in crypto and never deal with fiat but that has always been like that.

So, there is really no need to figure out how to do it, hire a bunch of people to SEC that will take a closer look at crypto transactions and the tech is already there, blockchain is the ledger for and KYC on exchanges is the key to it.
691  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|BFG on LATOKEN|🚀Stake & Earn $BFG on BabySwap on: October 03, 2022, 07:14:04 PM
The target when they were doing crowdfunding back then was to list BFG token eventually, we are in the second year but still not attained that goal, Betfury is already at the top when we mentioned stable casinos we can include BFG, I'm not losing hope that the team will eventually attain listing on BINANCE, and will set a new record in their all-time high, it been a year since it reached its all-time high, it's still the best time to buy now, of course, its always best to stake this coin.
Can they sustain or finance to be listed on Binance? Because for sure BFG will struggle to be added there if there current status will remain the same as for sure they will not find this relevant token to be listed on their platform. BFG need to gather more supports and get huge daily volumes so that Binance could decide immediately to add this on their exchange.
Not right now, that’s the point, if they end up doing something like that right now they would be delisted very quickly, or at least face a dozen of problems. This is why they are not listed right now as well, Binance wouldn't list it as it is and would need some more increase in volume to list them, after all Binance cares about their profits and trading fee comes from high trading volume.

But the idea is that "if" they are listed, that means something went very well with them and that is why they are listed, and that would be a great deal for them, if you ever see BFG listed on Binance, know that they are doing much better than they are doing right now.
692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: October 03, 2022, 04:21:32 PM
If Ronaldo should be given more chances to play in every game like last season I'm very sure he will score more goals. The game Manchester United played against arsenal in the EPL Ronaldo was brought into the field in late hours of the game,  even if he did not score goals in that game but performed very well. I really understand why Ronaldo haven't scored more goals this season, he never had the privilege to have good time in all the games.
Yes, I'm still wondering what is the reason for Ronaldo being rarely selected in the starting eleven this season?
It makes sense that Ronaldo performed bad last season, but the truth is the opposite. Cristiano Ronaldo's performance was quite good last season, even the 37-year-old player listed himself as the 3rd top scorer with a total of 18 goals in the Premier League.
United coach spoils Ronaldo's consistency with Man United, if this situation continues, I doubt Ronaldo's career at Man United in the future
In last season he was the best player for Manchester United but sadly now with the new coach things are completely different for him even in early days of this season management was ready to allow him for going into any other club these things are giving impression Erik Ten hag is surely not comfortable with him, and he is sticking with his players which are giving him better results even Ronaldo can also give him best results, but he is not using him as he needs to be.

I check now mostly he is coming for one half or many times not coming in any match mean coach trusted other players which are under his radar and having good results for him but here surely if he trusted him and give better time then he can give better results and Manchester United performance also on positive run which is going to be good for both parties.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can whitepaper still shows the weakness of a project and their team on: October 03, 2022, 10:21:31 AM
this is an issue that people need to start not to ignore the fact that a whitepaper should not be copied, even if there are some parts it should not be copied, we have to ask ourselves the following:

There were 1 and 2 world wars. right? and how many books are there in the world about world war? There are thousands of books, but each historian went to the field to do research, he sought to know the version of a survivor and told this story in the book, the historian cannot copy someone else's book and sell it.

with altcoins it should be the same thing, the person must sit down and create their project and after creating that project the person explains everything in detail in the whitepaper, no need to copy from other people. now when the person copies, then that person did not sit down to research the project, the idea is not his, with that it is clear that we are facing a scam project.
Unfortunately that is not the case for 99.99% of the projects. I have seen too many people with basically the same exact token and they just didn't do enough improvements on it and then say go with utility instead, create literally the same token and use it in a different name and then add a utility is not the way to go.

Original works are no longer available in crypto, there are a few, but they are unique and rare which means that it is really hard to find them and even when you do, they may not have the funding to keep going and they may fail. This is why I believe that it is going to be a lot better for everyone involved if we could end up with a better return with the coins we already know at the top.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: October 02, 2022, 08:15:23 PM
~snip~
The 2022 World Cup is the Most Expensive FIFA Tournament in History.
The costs incurred are almost 20 times the funds spent by Russia to host the 2018 World Cup.
But economically, the World Cup is also predicted to provide many advantages for Qatar.
Estimated that during the world cup, will be around 1.2 million visitors come and watch live at the stadium.
And will add revenue for the Qatar economy to $17 billion.

Btw, I hope there will be a new world champion outside that has won the world cup before.
It's always a bit of a gamble for the hosting country, sometimes they spend way too much preparing and building stadiums, etc, and then the money they collected is just not enough to cover those costs.

An interesting point is that in Qatar there's a ban on alcohol, which is one of the areas in which hosts make the most money from.

We'll have to wait and see how it goes.
Qatar is not a nation who lacks money, they have plenty of money and they do not worry about anything regarding the finances of this deal. The only thing they want to achieve is to look good to Europe and nothing more. With this tournament there would be a lot of people who will see a fake Qatar that is understanding and loving, and that’s not going to be the case as we all know.

The reality is much darker, but they will shade it white to look cute towards world powers and its citizens. I have seen this a lot in other sports and that’s why I won't buy it, but there will be plenty of people who would, this money spent is like advertisement, it’s not to make sure they profit, it’s there to promote Qatar to world stage.
695  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: October 02, 2022, 05:19:05 PM
Sports betting is all about finding value bets where you think the bookie is wrong is his assesment of the match/bet line. It seems easy but is really hard and to have a positive ROI year after year, is only given for a couple of people.
And you are right, in a way it is similar to trading, trading seems to be awfully simple as you only need to buy for a low price and sell for a higher one, and despite this apparent simplicity very few people can become profitable long term, and something very similar happens with sports bets, finding value and having a skill slightly above average to pick winners are both necessary, and while in theory this may seem easy it is something that is incredibly hard to do.
Since skills are involved in sports betting, the odds can be used in the player's favor but let's don't forget the house edge %. The house edge % on sports betting especially live betting is very high and bookies usually don't care about the winners since hedging the big positions is possible on main platforms. Hard to achieve the highest ROI in the long term but not impossible, odds are better on bookies than casino platforms, IMHO.
I am not sure if "skills" are that much involved. I get that there is a bit of information required, I mean someone who knows Real Madrid is better than getafe is not enough so that gap between people who know that and know that "there will be a new game for the youth newcomer” because the defender is booked but also they have the defensive midfield injured for 2 games meaning there will be someone out of position to cover that position, which combined could cause a leaky defensive day for them" is definitely important. But, should we call that skill? Or should we call it knowledge? Sports betting requires knowledge, not skill if you ask me, that’s a better name for it.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: October 01, 2022, 06:41:08 PM
Villarreal is a strong enough team and Cadiz is getting points at home for the first time. It's natural for them to think that 1 point is enough. Towards the end of the match, they wanted to keep this score as they went without conceding a goal for a long time.
The red card in overtime was very clever. Carcelen blocked the clear goal position and received applause from the fans. It's not common for a red card to be applauded. It was an interesting situation.
Getting a point against Emery's Villarreal should count as success. Cadiz can play against teams similar of their quality to win the match. It's their nature to be protective against big teams.
I feel like there are teams that just want to get out with a point at least, and that’s fine for them and it’s a long term approach. I am not saying that it would be a good idea for many teams, but if you want to just avoid relegation, then if you aim at 1.00+ point averages then it would be a good thing for you.

Not like they could, Cadiz is in trouble if you ask me, but if they aim at that, then they would avoid relegation, and not like they could be a top 5-6 team anyway, so it’s better to be 14th or something at the end of the season then be at a level where it would be just a situation where they would rather have to keep trying again and again instead.
697  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is a creeping beast on: October 01, 2022, 08:52:39 AM
The relationship between inflation and a decentralized currency is very far, inflation is influenced by several basic reasons, the currency owned by each country can be monitored by the competent authority, so there is no strong reason that inflation can be suppressed by this problem, the habit that occurs is precisely when the price of goods soars, is scarce and cannot be found in the market, inflation arises and cannot be controlled.
Especially regarding the basic needs of staple food as the fulfillment of the right for human survival, if this problem cannot be suppressed, then inflation will run beyond anyone's control.
Unfortunately, not that many people understand the current concept of the situation and that means we are going to end up with people thinking inflation could be solved with crypto and will fail to make money.

Reality is that when inflation happens that means something wrong with the world’s economy and yes, we had pandemic which caused printing of money to survive, which caused inflation, and that means it’s a whole world problem and now that there isn't any printed, not many people are left with that newly printed money. This causes everyone to have financial trouble, and when people have financial trouble it’s impossible for them to buy bitcoin.

The match between Chelsea vs Crystal palace will take place tomorrow. I want to see how Chelsea develop with their new coach, Graham Potter. and this will be chelsea's second match after changing a new coach. I think it will be easy for chelsea to get 3 points from this game. because considering his opponent that is Crystal Palace is not so good this season. But what will concern me is wanting to see how Chelsea develop after changing coaches. if it turns out Chelsea is still the same as before. then we will be able to think that there are other problems within chelsea.
Chelsea will win easily, they may not be doing that great for a while now, but they are doing great enough to actually beat Palace, they are not that bad and that means we are going to see a Chelsea win, I already wagered on it and expecting them to do well enough with it. This means that the best thing to do would be making a bit of a profit based on the current situation of Chelsea, they are not given 1.10 odds or anything, but they are given a good chance to lose compared to last years and they are not as bad as odd providers make them out to be. Which means that you could wager on their games and mostly you will win and overall profit.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin should I invest in other than bitcoin? on: September 30, 2022, 02:44:02 PM
In which coin should I invest money other than bitcoin? Because bitcoin has been the most profitable And what will be the future of the other coin, will it increase or not, then you guys can tell. Thanks in advance
If you believe on this then why will you still invest on other coins? Although it is not wrong to add something along with bitcoin. It also cuts the risk and it can allow you to gain some more profits but that coin must be well picked because you know, there are so many bad coins on this space right now. The future of those bad coins is of course not going to be bright but keep in mind that even the best coins still have their own down times.

It means not all times they are at the top (their price) so you must know when to time your moves. You should sell before it happens but you also need to buy when they are already at those moments.

this is the right time to buy polka dots, why delay if this is a golden opportunity?, you can see the truth through the chart,
because the highest price of DOT was at $54 and now DOT is only at $6, of course this is a good opportunity to invest in DOT.
yes even though the OP said people staking on DOT have reached 50% more I think it will have no effect on the price of DOT,
and maybe if there is another decline there will be $3 and I believe $3 is a very strong bottom.
People are not entirely sure if it is the golden chance to buy it right now, it would be a bit weird if you felt so comfortable about it and tell people about how comfortable you are by investing right now. Obviously, altcoins are a bit riskier than bitcoin, which means that they could end up being not so high and that would be understandable as well.

I personally would suggest you to buy it as soon as you can, because you really believe in it, but if others do not then I would understand it as well. It is not an easy decision to invest into anything, doesn't matter what it is, and people grow with the idea that there isn't free money anywhere, so it is hard to accept the fact that it is a good looking project.
