681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to maximize profit on: January 17, 2020, 05:04:27 PM
Not a stupid idea but you would have to trade it back again before the price goes up again. Otherwise youd be burned. That's what everyone else calls trading.

Its not hard to do when you know when to do it and this is why there is the need for a trader to know how to read the charts. The more money we spend learning the better we become.
682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Can I pay in Bitcoin here?" - go and ask this each time you pay something! on: January 17, 2020, 04:46:36 PM

It may sound strange for the people who hasn't heard of BTC their entire life. When paypal was just new, I started asking my cousin if the bank she worked allow clients to send paypal funds going to the bank he worked for. She wasn't aware of it back then it was I think 2005. After few years she remember me asking about it and its now available.

The people you asked might remember you one day asked them about accepting BTC. I wouldn't be surprise that 3 years later, we'd be fastfood restaurant accepting not just BTC but other altcoins.
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fight against Bitcoin is coming. Are we ready?! on: January 17, 2020, 04:24:07 PM

The dex created today may have prepared us from whatever it is that may be coming. I'm really not that sure what is there to be alarmed except the fact that centralized exchanges today as well had forced us to submit documents to them.

Don't worry too much, this is not the first time we have seen this threat, In general, every platform has some both positive and negative points, so it's like this. but it's true that Bitcoin and cryptocurrency should have a common platform where should have some important person in this current context, we have to build a strong platform which could make us stronger than before, we should develop our negotiation power which is very much important at this moment because most of the government are not allowed to make this Bitcoin and cryptocurrency legal. so it's high time to do these things for the shake of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

Its not legal and countries are already recognizing it. It feel safe that we aren't going to be treated like criminals we if use crypto.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 start of a fresh market for crypto. on: January 17, 2020, 04:04:04 PM
And this is just the start of the year.  $8K seem to have a solid support now.
I can't think of how much BTC will be by the end of the year if the bulls continue to push up the price. I think the adoption these days is much wider than it was back 2017 and perhaps we may not ever see BTC price below $5K again the next time a long bear market is going to reign again.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: January end , can BTCtouch 9k? on: January 16, 2020, 08:29:58 PM

We are still in the mid January, there is always time to sell which makes the price of BTC to drop for awhile. Its not dropping like its plummeting to the ground though, they are still accumulating and will probably buy more to push the price higher before the start of Feb. Its tough climb but I think the bulls are winning.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV Drama on: January 16, 2020, 07:02:01 PM

The pump of BSV was believed to be because faketoshi aka Craig Wright will provide a proof that he is indeed Satoshi, it lasted for few days until the news break that he provided more than a thousands of BTC addresses that he own from the beginning of BTC. This drama will take more than months probably until the halving date since the court extended Wright's time upon proving his claim.
687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [VIDEO]The Nasty Secret of Bitcoin Exposed on: January 16, 2020, 06:06:53 PM

The video explains how Bitcoin turns your ownership into membership, which is exactly how classical fraudulent schemes operate.

https://youtu.be/C5RplXYwCyY

Explaining bitcoin and crypto to a video creator would be like explaining internet to a 70yr old.

Oy vey, bitcoin is a scam, a scheme! C'mon, goy!
Bitcoin is a certificate of membership that grants you zero ownership rights. Try to disprove this simple sentence.

Aren't we allowed to participate in the market by selling and buying BTC? That's ownership rights. Just like digital cash in forex market, they buy and sell currencies.

Of course you wouldn't accept any explanation about that. You're not the only person who is confused about BTC. But you can always talk to yourself if nothing that is presented to you won't get into your mind.

An act of giving one thing and receiving another in return is called exchange, and not ownership. Shure you can exchange your membership certificates. That's the whole point of bitcoin scam - to exchange membership for ownership. That's how scam organizers benefit from it.

You don't put names on your wallet, its a jibberish alphanumeric wallet and not even linked to someone named with a real name which we can consider a membership. You won't sign your name and fill up a form to own BTC that you can consider then a member. We don't have that. No one organized it which is why its decentralize and worth $8K right now. And governments today accepted it. So much for being scam.

688  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHICH CRYPTO MOBILE APPS DO YOU USE? on: January 16, 2020, 05:37:44 PM

You can install your favorite exchange app and the tradingview app, just make sure you get it in the right website. Maybe visiting the website of the exchange which they do have link of their app. You can watch the market charts in tradingview and do the trading in the exchange app. Its a not that hard to figure, I'm pretty sure its not just me doing this.

690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO+Bounty] Midex | Financial platform with LICENSED exchange on: January 15, 2020, 09:06:08 PM
As I warned you here, this exchange is scam! Fire partners without payment, left the IT area

Feel sorry for the ones who kept the bounty tokens. I was very positive about the project and I believe they never meant to scam since they give out the bounty tokens and allow them to also withdraw where ETH during that time was more than $600. Those guys must be the most stupid scammer for allowing them to do it. I'd be regretting this my whole life for holding my tokens too. Another loss.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coin answer needed asap on: January 15, 2020, 08:39:02 PM
This shouldn't be very confusing, the address for deposit should show on which blockchain it's supported, I know Binance and major centralized exchanges supports the ethereum network. To avoid mistakes if an not too show, I just use known altcoin to move asset to an exchange supporting USDT ethereum network.
Binance supports ERC20, OMNI and TRON based USDT deposit/withdraw. In others these options are essentially offered too.
Among these options, you can deposit by choosing the desired blockchain based Tether:

Something I didn't know. But most of the time its ERC that I use without knowing Its ERC actually. I don't send USDT to my Ether wallet but maybe later if BTC once again hit ATH again and will just hedge my money when bears come around. DAI seem exciting being decentralized as claimed unlike the stablecoins like Tether which has issues previously.
692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest crypto mystery still revolves around Satoshi’s identity on: January 15, 2020, 07:56:50 PM
nowadays Satoshi's identity has turned into a source of income for different people! from these low quality website that keep creating clickbaits to the big scammers like CSW everyone is trying to make some money from it!
the worst part is that there has not been anything new for at least half a decade. everything is the repetition of all that has been rehashed a million times.

Exactly !mate,  I don't understand why people still follow and believe anything others create or post about the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto.  People need to know and understand that knowing the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto is not really necessary of mass adoption of bitcoin and it will not add any value of it.
Right, knowing his identity has no business with anyone of us. Whoever he is, what he has created is helping us in many ways and we should focus on it. Instead of focusing on who Is the creator we should focus on how we can use it in our daily lives, how we can create awareness among people about it and how it can change our lives. As it is the best alternative of national currencies and can be used in many ways, people should focus on this point.

I don't see the big deal in knowing who he/she/they are. It won't make a lick of difference. We will never know and they will never reveal themselves. Just think of all the drama. I think people who waste their time about who is satoshi or being very foolish. It is like the crypto version of the paparazzi.

Its a big deal for the people who looks for him since Wright is claiming its him. But the danger of the real satoshi coming out is what makes it thrilling for them as banks and government tries to expose him. I wouldn't be surprise if Wright is backed by these institution but they are trying to make satoshi come out.  Satoshi will never come out, he isn't attracted to fame. He is sure not the kind of person.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we overcome our gambling addiction! on: January 15, 2020, 06:43:47 PM

Hard to overcome it when you are surrounded with gambling sites online. You are not born to have a gambling problem I'm sure anyone who has addiction to gambling will overcome it when he lost it all. With not money but still manages to sell things just to gamble will result an addict to jail time. I don't know if he can gamble inside still.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altseason Has Almost Arrived For Altcoins. on: January 14, 2020, 06:53:11 PM
Looking at the market and the volume in the alts, the BTC dominance is at a steady level of 68.1% which is too high if you are expecting for an alt season. We are still waiting for the BTC to get above the $8250 resistance and if it breaks that with good volume then we may see an alt season.
The recent increase in the price of bitcoin has taken many by surprise, the bitcoin dominance has gone down for almost 1% in a single day and that is very significant, we are seeing some altcoins making some impressive progress especially bitcoin SV, even if I do not really like that coin.

What we do not know is if this kind of growth can be maintained and this is in fact the beginning of a bull run that will not only affect bitcoin but it is also going to affect altcoins, I'm still sceptical but I have no problem admitting my mistake if this is in fact the beginning of something very positive for the market of altcoins.

Looks like a big indication that altcoins will be rising. BSV though seem to be not that one that people might look into since this is created by a CW and known to be fake. People don't trust this but if they gain close to  100% in a day, those who will participate in trading won't mind at all buying and making money out of it.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Progress Since 2017 on: January 14, 2020, 06:33:54 PM
The time when there was a network clog due to kitties, its started when they need to find solution to scalability. When they were discussing about sharding and POS, it actually made ETH interesting. 2020 will make it good for ETH when they finally release, I'm sure they will have surprises for the investors. Price still goes up even with the delays of the POS.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining crypto by walking on: January 14, 2020, 03:57:55 PM
I remember about lyfe tokens, the similarities with Mangocoinz were not much different, but for some reason there was no big progress at that time even though the project was already very revolutionary with their smart watches and not just limited to the android application. I think this type of project hasn't gained much interest because investors are still more inclined to be fast money oriented, they are still forgetting projects with real use case concepts that are more slower growth.

I saw that Lyfe token back 2018, it was actually a great token almost similar to this MangoCoinz. Lyfe ICO was sold out as seen on their ICO thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5048366.0

It attracts investors because the advisor of this project was part of the Indodax exchange but in the end it was dumped by the investors as it was launched during the bear market. Right now its still in Tokenomy exchange but not really valuable. I guess this kind of concept doesn't work for its easy to cheat.
697  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Doubt the possibility of a scam] BestChange Bounty and Signature Campaign. on: January 14, 2020, 02:17:57 PM
Hi YOSHIE,

We are a legitimate business running since 2007 and would certainly not risk our reputation by tricking forum users into our campaign and not paying them.

Also, as for the two situations you are citing, as a business which is an intermediary between clients and exchangers, we always strive to resolve any issues the clients may have (although this is a rare case since we check all the exchangers before adding them to our website). In the first situation, we asked the user to contact us and so no feedback from him in the thread. The second situation was resolved.

We hope that you will kindly remove your Negative trust once you see the first payouts.

Try resolving the past scam accusation of your exchange and also get an escrow of the funds for your marketing in the forum. If its resolved, you may get the neutral trust of the reputable people here in the forum. You can't just solve these issues by citing your business is running for the longest time since 2007.

Try picking an escrow here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2439910.0 and perhaps a reputable bounty manager as well.
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin market being manipulated in 2020? on: January 13, 2020, 09:33:05 PM

Most if not all are manipulated but I wouldn't say the prices wouldn't go up during the bullrun. Its being pumped and dumped.
We are always up to see adoption for altcoins and every day we see it happen mostly with the dapps related to gambling and some mobile games and this will attract investors now that BTC halving is also hyped.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: The Next Generation Vehicle Rental Platform “Global Rental Token” on: January 13, 2020, 09:19:45 PM

A project like this will take more than a decade to get used if indeed there is a reason for a token to be used. Hard to say projects like this will achieve its goal when there are tokens worth using. If a current company today will create a tokens such as Uber, it might just be the one that people will prefer.

There are attempts of similar projects in the past, first we have to check how they have come out to be, at the moment i recall only Helbiz which at the moment is restricted to scooty renting that too in couple of some specific cities while during ico they claimed worldwide service where anyone can rent a car, suv, luxury car, bike, super bike, private jets and even yacht but in reality they have just provided scooties after 2-3 years of operations.

We can understand you and we are not pushing people to invest our project. We just sharing with people about our project. Follow and see how we will grow.

Also i want to say, we didnt make ico or ieo. We directly listing on exchange and will grow step by step. We believe this way will be better to gain people's trust. So now its lower price for project and in the future maybe you cant see this price again Smiley

Your tokens are listed on Merca though, hope you have your share of success in blockchain.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How blockchain can solve ticket fraud and secondary market issues on: January 13, 2020, 08:31:55 PM
As I remember there were a few projects about ticketing on Blockchain. GET Protocol, Aventus, Blockparty... Unfortunately, I invested in Aventus and they have done nothing so far. Really good to see that one of them is still alive and growing day by day.

But I don't think new cryptocurrency users care adoption. They just care about money. They need speculations, pumps, dumps... There are a lot of coins in the Top 100 with no real-world use case. Hate shitcoins, love adoption.

The most important thing is that Everyone was thinking mass adoption will come through the game industry especially gambling. GET Protocol showed us that's not true. Everyone buying tickets without knowing what is cryptocurrency. That's the key and adoption.

There are few of those projects that gets to be useful in the real world, you can just hope the teams are serious about the project which they hope to be adopted. You can just assume that several teams tried like 1 out of 10 similar project gets to be successful. GET protocol seem to be that one project that ends up to have a serious team.
