681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Prefer a KYCed Team? on: December 13, 2021, 08:49:49 AM

Recently, I am seeing some good altcoin projects that boast of having the project and the whole team passing some form of KYC. I am not, though, familiar how the whole team KYC is done but I guess this is in conjunction with a known third-party verifier. Of course, there is no guarantee that a project and team that got its own verifiable KYC will not never run away or fail as there are many variables to be considered but then again this can be helping in boosting confidence on the part of the investor. Should this be the new standard when looking for a new project to support?
I think it is almost same, in every project's whitepaper they will put on disclaimer. Which we made investment in their project must already know the risk, doing it without forced by others and etc. It means if the project dead or if they get away with our money, we already in a lose position. KYC or not, if we lose we can't do anything about it except if only want to made it as personal problem, and it can cause more problem for us.
682  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are new generation of investors more into gambling? on: December 12, 2021, 11:24:49 PM
Don't know how many percent, but binary options really hype this time. I mean in past some people avoid this kind of thing to make money, but i see on some social media, influencers get endorsed by some binary option sites and they only tell people if this kind of thing is really good to make people rich, because they only need to guess if price will up or down.
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One problem with BTC on: December 12, 2021, 09:14:32 PM
At first what reason which made us to complain. Price dumped then it is our loss because risk is on our own. Bitcoin got stolen, it is our fault how we can trapped into something that can harmed for us, or maybe we put money on exchange when we know it has risk too. I think in this kind of investment, just make sure ourself is already secured. Only us who can help ourself.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What promising tokens should you buy in 2022? on: December 10, 2021, 02:34:09 PM
Hi, I would like to discuss altcoins with you. What coins are you considering buying for 2022? I have a whitelist of 20 coins, and among them, there are both very famous coins such as Dot, Atom and Cro, as well as rising tokens like Mina, Vega and Check Dot Token. There are good and promising developments behind all these tokens and I think in 2022 we will see good growth in these coins. What coins do you think are promising?

Mine will be Safepal, and some tokens in Binance or maybe tokens which have to be used like Cake, or OOE, or anything which people will still need. But maybe most proportion of my capital is for big coins, i expect high return from BNB since a lot of project start to use BNB network.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP: Hacked Wallet on: December 09, 2021, 10:51:12 AM
To be focus now, is look your metamask connected to which sites. And then just leave it, make new and move on. To avoid something like this again, make sure made 2 wallet which 1 for big assets and save money, and the other one to use if require to connect in some sites. Maybe you will pay more fees, but it is worth than hacked and lose all money.
686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Situation with btc and usecase lets think now on: December 09, 2021, 08:30:31 AM
Imagine i buy something today with btc.
With 1 btc.
Today its worthed 60k tomorrow will be 40k.
And can fall down even further so the person who i transfered btc are in loss ?
The volatility is main issue why we cant use never for paying something....or im wrong ?
Or how is the situation here ?
The main issue is not much who use it and regulation about government not allow crypto as payment for legal companies. In my country, crypto can't be payment but if personal transaction like p2p i think not be a problem. About price, it is seller risk why he keep hold his bitcoin and then decreased in value, as long both already agree when transaction happened.
687  Economy / Economics / Re: Transforming skill to profit. on: December 09, 2021, 06:15:22 AM
Simple thing that we can transforming skill to profit, if you are good at translator, there are a lot of translate bounty, you can doing it solo or maybe with your friends to get best result. In past i joined my friend to join translation campaign, then we help each other to correct the result already good or not, and then if both of us already satisfied, we submit our task to managers.
688  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weekend Trading, how do you feel about it? on: December 08, 2021, 11:15:23 PM
Nowadays, a lot of people already involved into bitcoin community and it is include trading section too. At past usually i avoid trading in weekend or holidays because sometimes volume is not high as in usual day. But now volume in market seems not really decreased maybe because more people doing trade in weekend or in holiday too.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should i buy? on: December 08, 2021, 03:27:10 PM
We all know that market is collapsed and reviving again and i don't want to miss this opportunity which coin or coins should i buy?
If me when market turns bad, i only pick big coins like BTC, to be honest i am not really good in trading so i am not pick coin that i not ready to get dumped more. If bitcoin i think although it dumped, but it will bounce back and price sometimes tend to keep increased.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin ever get regulated on: December 08, 2021, 01:38:43 PM
This topic have taken the center stage of my thought we have seen how countries around the world are gradually opening the economy to adopt bitcoin and as a result a lot of government policies are already underway to develop a framework that allow regulation of the bitcoin ecosystem which have made me to wonder on this topic. Can a decentralized currency like bitcoin ever get regulated?
Bitcoin itself can't regulated because it is decentralized. Mostly regulation is focused on centralized exchange which something that they can control. But i think don't need to worry because as long it not made bad impact for users, people wouldn't care about it, especially a lot of DEX already launched.
691  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you like to trading with meme coins?? on: December 07, 2021, 10:41:10 PM
People always select good altcoins for trading which could raise up and make them profitable. Some may like to trade with meme coins to earn quick money. which might help them to change their future & fulfil their come dream true over night or might be result lost everything after go down those meme coins unexpectly and never come back. Have you even trade with meme coins or Would you like to trading with meme coins??
Not yet, but if the coins is good or maybe i get signal from my friends maybe i will buy it too. For meme coins which already success, i am late to buy so i prefer not to buy it than i buy in high price and then suddenly dumped. Not say it is bad, but i prefer to keep safe than lose much.
692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my Bitcoin when I die? on: December 07, 2021, 10:11:34 PM
If I die (let's be honest, that will probably happen), would my wife or family get my coins? What if they don't know my passwords/private key?
So it is gome, because no one can open your wallet. Must be all people in family know about it, why not? this is big investment. Big investment, people near us must be know or at least can do basic thing about it. Doing investment by ourself wouldn't have good effect as impact, i mean don't need to keep a secret to our family if our investment is really big.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will competitors defeat ETH due to ever-increasing gas fees? on: December 07, 2021, 06:41:00 PM

Do you think competitors will defeat ETH due to ever-increasing gas fees? If not, why? Are constant delays a result of miners' opposition against reducing gas fees on the blockchain? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
I think it possibly happen. Because nowadays there are a lot of network with their own fees, and some project already use it. For example, some new bounties in this forum, the project use BSC, MATIC, and any other network and we can count how many project that still made ERC20 tokens.
694  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why exactly is it that people don't like identifying yourselves (KYC)? on: December 06, 2021, 09:17:20 PM
My reason is simple, i just not want to share my personal data to anyone or anything else because personal data is important and it include my address, phone number, etc. And in other side, data selling is happened in all over world no matter who behind it. That is why to be honest i am not really agree with KYC, but some exchanges now force people to do KYC in them.
695  Economy / Economics / Re: The Difference Between Staking and Investing on: December 06, 2021, 08:24:46 PM
There are some people who not really good in trading, staking can be alternative for it. Although maybe profit not high as when we are doing trading, but risk can be less too. Nowadays there are a lot of platforms that allow us to stake our crypto in their site, for example like when we stake USDT in Binance, beside on a reputable exchange, USDT as we knows as stablecoins, means we don't need to worry about volatile.
696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Is HODL the only strategy? on: December 06, 2021, 06:53:13 PM
I own different crypto and mostly I stake with them because I am interested in the long return. With bitcoin I am actually doing nothing. Can you suggest any strategies to make even a little APR? I know that I can't stake with bitcoin.
Maybe just keep holding, you said that you already have different crypto and stake it means there are a risk when you hold that because altcoin sometimes get pump and dump. If use that bitcoin as back up capital, then you can back up ur assets  immediately when something bad happened because if stake it too, will need time to unstake it again.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Race to $1000, which one would hit first? SOL or BNB? on: December 05, 2021, 10:42:28 PM
These two coins are very bullish now, especially for SOL which started at over $1 this year and now trading at $222 already.

BNB is also a good coin, it's been tested through time already, so we cannot underestimate its success this year.
But my question is, which could do you think will hit the $1000 mark first, and why?

Please vote also.
I vote for BNB. Honestly my prediction can be wrong because vote must be done if we already research both coin. But i am only see BNB which "on my sight" is alternative for ERC20 tokens, and then a lot of project use it, there are big chance for me to think BNB price might be increased like ETH progress, although not high as ETH.
698  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never sell for a loss - is a Myth !! on: December 04, 2021, 11:47:27 PM
I have heard many people say that never sell for a loss but what does it actually mean ?

Assuming you have bought a coin at $10 and the price goes down to $9 but you don't sell.
You could have placed a stop loss at $9 but you take "Never sell at a loss" so seriously that you decide to not put a stop loss.
The price goes down to $8 but you are too good at HODL. Suddenly the market crashes and the price goes down to $5.
You could have limited your losses at $9 but now your portfolio is down by 50%.
Now the price has to go 100% so that you breakeven with no loss no profit whereas you could have bought back at $5 and gained potential profits using a stop loss.

This is why I think "Never sell for a loss" is a myth and we should always use a stop loss and play safe with a good risk to reward strategy.
If talk about spot trading, for me that is why i am not use any capital. If the condition is really bad then i will split capital into 3 levels anticipating if more dump come, but if the coin still considered as good coin like what i buy in market usually big volume coin then in that $5 i will buy again, so only need average $5 and $10 / capital and usually don't need to back to $10 to get my ROI.
699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still worth to invest Bitcoin? on: December 04, 2021, 06:58:02 PM
I want to invest something for $20000, still worth?
Of course especially bitcoin got a dumped today, i think still worth to buy with half of your money. I mean there will be 2 condition, price back to higher or keep dumped. If higher you can take profit, if lower then you can use the rest of capital to wait for a good price to buy again.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good to penalize airdrop hunters? on: December 03, 2021, 06:14:33 PM
Usually from what i see, airdrops or bounties only take small portion from total supplies of the coin. If dumped because airdropper, it only small chance except the coin really have small volume in it. And who mostly got a big chance to dump their coins is who bought at cheaper price because like me and some of people i know, they who got at cheaper price from ICO will immediately sell their coin and change to other projects. Penalizing is bad idea because it can be prove that developer not really seriously to  work on their coins because only afraid if dumped by airdroppers, and maybe which make it worse is when a lot of airdroppers put complainment, and cause potential investor not joined to project that have problem.
