Yes, these days you have to mine with a Scrypt ASIC Miner, if you don't own one you can always rent one/some from websites like MiningRigRentals or Nicehash.

If you get in early enough with any coin, GPU cards or even CPU's can still be profitable for a minuscule amount of time.
