684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: December 09, 2016, 05:01:19 AM
My idea is to bet only when there is serious promotion going on. I am not talking about something like rollover 30x to grab bonus because that is very hard to win.
The best promos are cashback promotions on lost bets. I've seen it on both https://1x-bit.com/ and sportsbet.io
I guess you have to try with different gambling sites to earn a profit, however with promotion I am sure it's not a decent amount to enjoy, I had my experience in the past winning a no deposit bonus and win like a 100 MBTC for rollover but have not tried teh cashback promotion. Anyway, thank you for bringing that up, I also love sports betting so maybe I will try that one.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: December 09, 2016, 03:52:40 AM
there's no such a thing as "too much money". people will always want more.
i dont have a statistic, but i'm pretty sure rich people gamble way more than poor people.

of course because they have enough money to gamble than the poor those rich people has nothing to worry about because they can just release another amount of money in order to place bet for second time and so for . and about those poor individuals some of them they do hesitate if they are going to gamble if only they can realize that the amount of money they are going to gamble can sustain their need for a singe meal they value every amount .
Money makes the world go round as they say, so basically when you are rich you can do anything you wanted to do and that includes gambling if that is your passion. We are in charge of the decision making and it's right to bear in mind that we have more to lose and we need to instill discipline so we will be extra careful when it comes to decision making. Ensure that when we gamble, we are only doing it for entertainment and nothing more.
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: December 09, 2016, 02:18:25 AM
For sure there are people below 18 years old who are gambling specially if it is Bitcoin online gambling because some site doesn't required you to specify your age, you just need to put username , password and email address in order to be registered.

Not only some sites but most or all bitcoin sites no need to mention you age to gamble there. Even some sites allow you to start gambling without even opening the account, so you just need a bitcoins to gamble. This is something not good, and many young people can play these online games.
It's the nature due to no restriction policy unlike in regulated gambling sites, kids nowadays if they know bitcoin can earn and enjoy at the same time but hopefully they will not be addicted with gambling as it's very risky for them to focus in gambling. What we can do now is just to be more matured even at the young age and accept the reality that it can destroy our lives if abuse.
687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: December 08, 2016, 04:38:16 AM
Many people said the gambling is just a game and another people said it is Investment. How do you think?  Roll Eyes

Gambling is an investment which you know what odds you're getting. However, in an investment you are not playing against anyone. With gambling you are playing against the house, and the house will always have an advantage over you.

I wouldn't recommend gambling for profit, it is supposed to be fun and entertaining.

No, gambling is not an investment because if you lose that game, then all your money is gone. It is just playing a game for fun with small amounts. Investments are made to grow over the time as businesses grow. Gambling can't be called it as an investment, at least for me.

It can be an investment in other way because you are depositing bitcoin in the casino's where you are the one who will decide if you want to gamble that.

And also a good way to invest with gambling is by simply allowing casino's use your fund by investing to their bankroll casino's.

But it depends on you, if you will going to treat gambling as an investment or not.
For most of us, we do not treat gambling as an investment because the amount needed to invest is big to have a good return and we know that most  of us are just small time gamblers here. We do have small bankroll and hope that it can bring us good amount of money so basically what we are doing is gambling with a little chance and we base on luck hoping for positive results all the time.
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: December 08, 2016, 04:28:49 AM
I gamble for both having fun and making money. The most important thing is we gamble does not aim to make money because I'm sure the person will lose

If you are gambling without aiming money, then only you can have fun, but if expecting some profit then will have a fun time only if you win the game. If you lose than keep on thinking how to recover back that lost money and may end up losing more money in gambling. So don't gamble to win money.
It's a good way to gamble if you can maintain that, it will not make you lose more than your budget. Gambling are suppose to be fun so it should be played for entertainment, just bear in mind that no one will succeed if they are not too focus with their goal even in gambling.

If you aim for money then you focus on it, do not mix both fun and money goal.

That's hard to do that you will focus only on one thing in gambling. Because if you will just focus only with profit then you will have hard time to reach it.

And if you will just aim for fun then you are just totally wasting your money. Why not simply gamble for both reasons and at the same time just enjoy gambling.

So, whenever you lose, you are still not that sorry because you are expecting to lose and to win some amount.
I don't think it's proper to call a waste of money when you are having fun, that is why there are two purpose which are to gamble for fun or for profit, that two has really a big difference. Now, if you gamble for fun then simply you will be happy regardless of the outcome of the game.
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is Gambling Like Investing on: December 08, 2016, 02:45:29 AM
Gambling will be effective as a investment when you have cent percent assurance that you win the event. Whether you bet on the lower odd or highest, the winning decides it to be a form of investment or just gambling

No one can tell you 100% accurately that any team or a person going win unless the match is fixed. Even though it is fixed but still you will have a fear that result may change. Gambling is just a playing games for fun but investing is to earn money over the time. You need to wait for investments to grow and it will not happen instantly.

Just because we are putting money or wagering it with gambling that is what I'm already considering as a form of investment, because are the one that will decide whether you will invest it to some profitable things or just simply gamble it and hopes to win bigger amount if you are lucky enough when you gamble.

Wagering is enjoying the games, not an investment. If you want to win big money in short time and enter to gambling means, it is not an investment but taking significant risks to play those games. Winning chances are almost nill in gambling. So as per me it is not a investment. Those are just fun games but need to pay for it.
We are suppose to do that way but the reward like we can win without limit attracts us to make it a serious investment, and of course when we are talking of investment there should be a careful strategic planning that is when we choose our game and use our skills. This type of investment is very hard since most of us who tried failed in the end and others even have a miserable life because of gambling.

692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: December 07, 2016, 08:00:05 AM
I really like the odds for Chicago Bulls to take this game tonight from Detroit because I noticed in their last game at home they were playing sloppy at the end but they just managed to get it together to beat the visiting side. Chicago is hot and are above 500 and Detroit Pistons are looking awful as of of their last couple of games.
Pistons had been sort of injury plagued since the start n now Reggie Jackson (one of their primary scorers) is back and will make a positive impact on the game+ the game is being played in Detriot. Bulls sort of lack scoring ability when u take Wade and butler out of the picture. Where as all of the starting 5 of the Pistons can chip in 15+ points. So I donno what's gonna happen to the game but, It will be hard to bet against the Pistons.
Like I said yesterday, Detroit Pistons are a good team and they were able to beat the Bulls by 11 points. I like the team and I think they might make it to the playoffs this time. Andre Drummond is their star and has been doing good along with Harris, KCP and Jackson. Lets see how it goes.. Cant wait for the playoffs.
FYI, they made it to the playoffs last year already but if I am not mistaken they are sweep by the cavaliers. It's a different game you can witness in regular season compared to the Playoffs. Detroit is good and no question about that, but I just hope they can get past the first round if given a chance to enter into playofffs again, hopefully they will not face the Cavaliers again.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: December 07, 2016, 07:13:30 AM
Fun is fun. Becoming rich doesn't change this thing, you'll still want to be entertained. Being rich also doesn't mean it is necessary to gamble more than you would have gambled if you were poor - you can go with the same small amount. The riches are gambling too.
Yeah that is right if a person like a way of fun then he go for it in any situation no matter how much he become rich and how much he become busy he will bring some time for to gamble as it is a source of pleasure which is the need of every human being in the boring work of the life.
But gamble never be fun if you keep hitting unlucky losing streaks.
So you must stop immediately once you think you have lost too much and feel nothing .
A rich man who gamble have bigger risk to become frustated so i will suggest to keep incontrol.
That's when you are tested whether you are a discipline man or not, if you get frustrated then definitely you are not gambling for fun, you have already accepted because you start that you are gonna lose anyway because that is gambling and no certain way to win all the time. As a rich person with discipline you should not be affected as you have a lot of money and what you spend is only what you can afford to lose.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: December 07, 2016, 05:02:50 AM
There is no smart way to gamble and even with 98% luck in prime dice you tend to lose in the long run,so basically there is no way to earn money from gambling site and only a lucky few gets a chance to win some.
I agree that dice is all luck and unless u have rigged the dice yourself there's no way u can guarantee that you will make good profits out of it. On the other hand, Sports betting is slightly more predictable and if you follow sports well and are not greedy, you can make decent profits on a long run.
Choose a game that you have a good chance to win in the long run, dice would not give us that unless we are too lucky because it's impossible for us to rigged their system, put in mind that they are operating for profit so it's just right to protect their business by strengthening the security measures for them to continue operating profitably.
695  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: December 07, 2016, 04:55:49 AM

By continuously touting this "Bitcoin will replace the dollar" nonsense, most people are forced to miss the more important bigger picture.

Bitcoin is the first, globally recognized currency of the internet.

In the years ahead, this will have a much bigger impact on world economics than it does currently.

So I state again, Bitcoin is not in competition with the Dollar. It is designed to be used in tandem with the fiat currency system, not as an alternative. This is very important, if you can grasp what this means - as far as the internet is concerned.

I totally agree with KoinKartel's view that fiat money will not die because of bitcoin in nearby future. Furthermore, dollar is very strong currency to be replaced by bitcoin. As an example, countries with weak economy (Zimbabwe dollars) recently replaced their fiat money with fiat too (US dollars) and no with bitcoins.

I also agree this will not happen but the fact is also that its logical that it will not, the bitcoin is still too small for that.
Sometimes we are just overreacting with the situation, with the current situation and great success of bitcoin, we think it will be a big thing in the future and can even replace Dollar. I say, fellas let's be realistic, that ain't happening, we are too young in the crypto world and we have a lot to prove to people that will attract them that there's a lot of benefits you can get using bitcoin.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is Gambling Like Investing on: December 07, 2016, 04:49:30 AM
gambling is risking your money right but with a great profit if you win the game just like investing with your investment there's no assurance that you will gain your income back . so investing is like gambing if you invest it on a things. try to invest it on gambling sites bank roll maybe you can gain enough profit from it with more stable than investing it gambling. gambling is fun tho you're not sure if you can gain a stable profit from it.
The outcome should justify how we called our venture with gambling, it's only investing when you are too confident that you can profit in the long run, other than that it's called entertainment. Only the chosen one has the chance to make profit in gambling and even make a living with gambling.

I know everyone's dream are to have a comfortable life and gambling is one that is viewed as one of the possible ways to achieve that dream.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: December 07, 2016, 03:00:47 AM
Putting a large amount of money on "a sure thing".   Roll Eyes Embarrassed
I can really tell from the words itself that it's a mistake because there's no sure thing in gambling, in fact it's called a game of chance. You will not be successful with that kind of mindset, in reality, when we sometimes think that it's a sure bet that is the time that bet has no even chance of winning.

I have the same experience in sports betting, I think the favorites will win easy but the outcome is not even close and I lose the game. Angry
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your aim in gambling???? on: December 06, 2016, 08:24:20 AM
im gambling because my aim was always to gain money or profit from playing a gambling . theres a lot of gambling sites and i still havent tried all of that gamblings sites. i like playing gambling with a target to gain a profit and make a fun from playing it . many people here always focus on gambling because its the only source of money thats so easy than waiting your payout.
And what kind of games do you play? Since most games like dice are completely dependent on luck in those games House edge that basically guarantees that you are not going to win in the long run.
most people have a bad and wrong mindset about gambling.

they think they can make money in gambling but the fact say that you will never able to do that. we are indeed always one step left behind the house edge which makes you lost most of the times , you might won the game for once but then you lost for twice and more.
It's definitely not a bad mindset if you feel you have the chance to be successful in gambling, and we know that there are successful gamblers so maybe that only inspires us. However, this is a very risky game or kind of job and we have to be honest with ourselves, we need to evaluate our capacity to be successful otherwise let's just focus with the fun since we can still enjoy it.
699  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: December 06, 2016, 08:16:48 AM
Then how do I buy Bitcoin?

I need a bank account to do it.
Actually you could able to buy bitcoin without the need of a bank account since you could able to do transactions with p2p and any other ways that some people do usually use.Banks are good for the security of our money especially on huge amounts but as i saw on the situation of OP i dont know whats the exact reason why his account been froze on such reason.
Exactly, we do not need them anymore. We can buy without the intervention of bank and in fact bitcoin was created to do banking without bank. That's the main reason because some does not trust bank to share their sensitive information, and when we have money in bank it's automatic that the government will know how much liquid assets we have. So, bitcoin was create to relieve that fear and here we are now anonymous with money at bitcoin.
700  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: December 06, 2016, 05:33:07 AM
This method is proven and more people because of those early bitcoiners they got profit from holding and now they are millionaires.

That's because they were early. Unlike them, we would have to wait for a long time before we can be millionaires out of holding coins. The hold-your-coins-become-a-millionaire train has already passed. I would only say that holding your coins is a good way to make money if you hold a lot of coins. Otherwise, you're not going to earn that much.
Fortunately, holding your bitcoins is not the only way to increase it's volume or value. That's only good if you have a bigger amount of investment as even with a little percentage of growth in terms of price you'll be able to make profit on it.

Why not try short term investment or trading for that matters, I am pretty sure smart investors are smart traders as well.

The active market gives us a lot of earning opportunity to it's good to be active as well too.
