To confront the next 5 years, so bitcoin will experience many problems. Starting from falling prices, many scam, and lack of confidence in the bitcoin public it will happen. But I believe bitcoin can certainly pass it because bitcoin will continue to grow.
The things you have mentioned are already happening in the community of bitcoin specially the scams and lack of confidence also occurs sometimes among the users of bitcoin but it seems to be collapsing with the time and that time will come when these things will get finished, not sure about scams but panics would surely end one day. Yes maybe the rampant scam and lack of confidence will surely be overcome in a few years. But not necessarily eliminate it totally, just reduce it so that only a few. Problems in bitcoin will certainly continue in the future, and I still believe bitcoin can surely overcome it. Well if talking about predictions, its much better if we say that bitcoin in the future will gain its reputation to be 100% for me because in my own experience and feed backs from friends who benefited a lot is that btc brings comfort to their lives and convenience is always there when having bitcoin on our lives. As far as people is concerned with bitcoin we are now going to adapt this in the future generation as well as online selling and buying, so lets keep believing that possibility is always there in bitcoin. |

In my opinion, there are to many Bitcoin SCAM sites, Revshare and HYIP, with false promises for high return.
Also, in my country, very few people accept Bitcoin offline, no so many users in my local area, no legal regulations etc.
I also don't like to much exchange fees connected with Bitcoin.
Most of bitcoiners encountered a scam online and also phising. Trusting to a stranger online is one of the reason they get into scammers who presented good ideas which lead to failure in reality as profit has nothing to gain specially when investing btc. I think it is not good to invest in casino which is good only if ypu have more money to waste in playing casino that is why casino is only for people who have more money or rich people.

Altcoin could be profitable if you do some search and know exactly about it to predict how it would be on few months later. Bitcoin already has good foundation and stable price right now as we can see, so it's your choice where to invest your money. In addition bitcoin might have some spike and dip in price but it is not as high as the fluctuation of certain altcoins. Beside from that, it is more cheaper to venture bitcoin / altcoin trading than bitcoin / currency. If you happen to get into an ICO and the one you participated turns out to be a promising one, you can multiply your BTC holding to some degree depends on how high the ICO coin gets when it hits the market. For me i considered my signature campaign is the best investments which holds my bitcoin this year. Yes, it is really possible, and lost 0,08 BTC that way, only 16$ at that time, but much more now. However, since I placed a password to my wallet (yeah, was pretty stupid to don't put one : I thought I'd have to enter it each time I would get into my wallet  ), never had any problem ! That is not a big amount of money, but is never fun to get hacked and lost your money. If someone has access to your PC or your smartphone with a virus or malware, for sure he can access and transfer the fund to another bitcoin adresse. Always a good idea to implement the basic security into your wallet Possibility is possible as long as you're connected to internet many hackers will posibly hack your wallet because money is always involved. Best thing to do is to installed strong security on your pc or mobile phones and seek good advice from experts for your safety. Most importantly do not share to anyone your wallet password because it is the most reason for your account to become unsecured. |

I agree that this is not profitable but sometimes people with great gambling skill will gain his/her profit from it in the passion he enjoyed most. Eh, I'll believe it when I see it. I do think something along these lines is coming, but none of us knows when or to what extent adoption is going to rise. Having hope and really bullish thoughts doesn't really help anyone, and that sort of thing can be detrimental to your wallet.
People need a real reason to use bitcoin over fiat, and so far I haven't seen really compelling reasons. That's heresy, I know, but to me bitcoin works much better as an investment tool and store of value than as a currency to be adopted for spending. But we'll see.
But without real utility, why is it a good investment and store of value? without a reason to use it, why does it have any value at all? There's no need to let you see in order for you to believe it because adopting bitcoin nowadays is very rampant over internet transactions specially in tradings of cryptocurrencies. Its not impossible that adaption boom is coming because people slowly grow with their knowledge of using btc specially when they found source of earning it and they gain skills of altcoins trading. they actually can but there is no reason to allow them do that because it would most probably be really boring and kids wouldnt like doing that for sure Kids likes to have fun with their friends and family, so I don't think they will show any interest in earning bitcoins and they may also find it complicated. yes that is a fact, although bitcoin is design as for currency but still the facility of bitcoin as a currency is not yet available every where, therefor people are using it as investment, to me kids should pay attention to their study and no need to learn how to earn bitcoins. At a very young age kids has no interest with this money making like bitcoin earning, all you can do is install games that will earn bitcoins and there were lots of it. By that time they knew how to play with it and earn bitcoins surely they will learn slowly as they get into games because they are kids who exactly enjoyed most in games whether PC or android games. For me there is no exception of bitcoin because as a person money always matters on our daily need for survival and its important with kids to value money and its good that they play for fun and also earn for good. |

Nope, some others are just been drag to the site without doing proper research on site legitimacy, thats why we can see many scam victims for either gambling or hyip investment since they cannot tell if that one is legit or not since mostly of falled victim are newbies, thats why if they use their brains and di some deep research on the things they wish to invest well im sure theirs no people will shout that they have been scam. If the cryptocurency has been killed by hackers and steals thousands of bitcoin, it will affected all the people who use cryptpcurrency. Because of that, the people conclude that the bitcoin is not safe. Therefore, if the bitcoin is lost you will also lost. Hackers is really a problem circulating the web right now and actually they are the threats of our cryptocurrencies. When they take down cryptocurrency a big problem will happen to us who uses bitcoin and those who invested a lot and also they have big balances of btc and all of that will be gone in one blink of an eye. Yes, I would still use bitcoins even if government bans it because I am an honest and loyal user of bitcoins and I love it because of its decentralization and not being watched by anyone, controlling all my finances on my own which gives me higher privileges and makes me feel like a King.
We all have the same feelings, but when it comes on crime, none of us would like to go to prison for just using a digital currency which was providing a financial freedom for us. If the government announces that anyone using bitcoin would be taken to prison then i'm sure you will think twice before doing that then. Bitcoin has a lot of benefits we can enjoy but we should choose those kind of benefits that will not compromise our future, we know that illegal activities has bigger risk and if we decide to do that we have to expect anytime we will be caught. Bitcoin is freedom but the moment you use it for illegal activities you will not enjoy freedom because you are afraid of being caught. I will still use bitcoin if government imposed illegalities on btc using. For me this bitcoins can be illegal if someone use it for illegal transactions this might not be banned for illegal reason but there will be strong screening in the future to those who use bitcoin specially those who trades altcoins. If ever they make this illegal i'll keep using this in order to be legal for those who use this for good and not for bad reason and if that happens there will be an appeal to legallize the bitcoin to all who is qualified. |
