681  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Lies And Over reactions on: August 17, 2014, 09:40:54 PM
The OP doesnt even understand what ROI means.... what a dumbfck.

He only looks at the cashflow from mining. Which means jack.... Take the btc you SPENT to get mining rig, and do an estimate to see if you can MINE that same amount of btc back. Dumb shit are born every day.

At best you're gambling to get back of what you spent.... woohoo. Now go find a job and see what opportunity cost you paid compared to just buy and hold bitcoins.

682  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I have My own power source. Should i mine? on: August 17, 2014, 09:34:28 PM
Hello! I have My own power source (solar and wind) should I start mining?
And if so what should my first purchase be?
Do you generate excess power?  If you do, take a look at how much you can earn by selling it back to the power company and compare it to profitability of mining.  If you don't, then you don't really have your own power source for mining since you'll need to obtain the excess power needed by the rigs from somewhere.

Hello I do generate excess power, I even have 8 panels in my garage that I'm not using.
I'll take a look at what I would earn by selling power.
But I like to believe that the bitcoins will be worth a lot more one day then selling power.

It doesnt matter, it comes down to the cost per btc. If mining cost more than buying, what would you do?

I believe if you actually ask these questions, you're clueless about money management. I'm sure thats how mining rig sellers make money, selling gear to clueless ppl.

683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RFC] æthereum: a turing-complete coin distributed as per bitcoin's blockchain on: August 17, 2014, 09:25:11 PM
Lol. Too bad Ethereum is unlikely to be designed for the Bitcoin blockchain anymore...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=740684.0

I'm not sure what you mean by "designed for the Bitcoin blockchain" or how that is relevant to a spin-off (you can create a spin-off clone of any coin).

Yes you can airdrop to Bitcoin still but you may be asking them to adopt on a BitShares DPOS blockchain now.
Very good advertising for DPOS over POW so I certainly encourage it though  Smiley

My retard meter went off the scale when i read your post. We got a true idiot here!

684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RFC] æthereum: a turing-complete coin distributed as per bitcoin's blockchain on: August 17, 2014, 09:23:43 PM
LOL at the number of retards who hate this spin-off. I guess you bought Ethers huh?

685  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ethereum KILLING BITCOIN! on: August 17, 2014, 09:20:36 PM
LOL Ethereum will die because of this : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563925.0

Only idiots who invested donated into Ethereum are being bearish about bitcoin. They're hoping to hype up Ether so they can dump it.

686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum the altcoin killer? on: August 17, 2014, 09:14:48 PM
So basically BTC can provide every that is needed? If thats the case, why even bother with all this other crap?

Simple human greed, they wish to be like btc early adopters, so they always dump hundreds dollars here and there on alt coins. We have thousands of these greedy pigs and that add up to multi millions market cap for alt coins.

Believe it or not, these ppl still refuse to see the price of btc isnt just hype.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Twitterseller fucking about on: August 14, 2014, 07:12:11 PM
why the fck you even post here?

Who gives a shit, go fck yourself.
688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi was murdered? New evidence coming in on: August 13, 2014, 09:40:02 PM
If he did die, its much more likely that it was from natural causes. Plus you're looking for motives without a body, hmmm.
We don't know who Satoshi is, so we can't know if he was murdered. What a stupid thread.

OP ignored, as he is obviously just trying to get more clicks for his signature ad. I would suggest the removal of these ads, because it encourages turds like him to post stupid shit like this.

+1, i hope the community is smart enough to ignore all the troll threads.
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi was murdered? New evidence coming in on: August 13, 2014, 09:35:07 PM
Why do you guys keep feeding the troll?

Look into the OP's post history and see for yourself,

690  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 13, 2014, 10:32:43 AM
Nice i've been waiting for this, just load tons of ammo ready to fire!

Everyone here should pay attention, the whales are using exchange rate for large deals with miners. When the exchanges are so thin, its easy.

Miners are the suckers of all right now.
691  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What type of capital investment would be needed to set up a mining farm? on: August 12, 2014, 10:42:44 PM
I cant believe you guys convinced the noob that he can make money mining right now.

LOL Atleast show him how to do a proper calculation.

Hey OP, newsflash for you, you're competing with +80% of the network that only pays <7c/kwHr
I sent him my spreadsheet. He has the modeling tool to run various scenarios.

I've modeled on in a few different scenarios. Seems that I'm always chasing my tail. I can make money but not at the level I would want. And just before it starts to decline I would need to buy more miners to stay afloat.

But then I say to myself that someone is mining, yeah the boys with unlimited resources.

I saw this today and shit my drawers:

Inside a Chinese Bitcoin Mine

Then this guy with his solo act:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELA91d_mx80
- I've seen this before.

None of them are "solo"

They got the capital from ppl like you who buy their mining hardware which then fund their mining farm. Lots of ppl cant wrap around this simple concept...

Ppl say they sell because mining is too risky and they can make more money to sell.... well its only half truth.

To be able to stay ahead of the game, they need large capital to start a mining farm that use the best electrical rate (2-5c/kwHr) Small miners have no chance to compete, at best you just wish for a break-even. They COMPETE with their own customers! Remember that as their farms are going up, they're pushing their customers out of the mining game (most small miners can only get 10c/kwHr at best). Its a no risk to them.

Put your effort into something else (services) to have income, and buy btc and hold will gain you furthest.

Mining game isnt for hobby or small business venture, its for the big boys. I say let them find capital elseswhere and not sucking us in for a free-risk capital funding.
692  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-06-23]NewsBTC:Overstock to Donate 3% of BTC Sales, Support Crypto Adoption on: August 12, 2014, 01:31:04 AM
He should just give discount for bitcoin orders. That makes more sense and at the same time, helping both btc adoption and bringing more sales.
693  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Last difficulty ... +20% ? Well ... if you play, you must work ! on: August 12, 2014, 01:26:12 AM
This is an unexpected delivery of miners. S3's don't explain this increase. Potentially SP30s coming online in a hosted farm.

This + BFL finally mining with Monarch .... while they tell their customers who have been waiting for almost a year .... FCK OFF. ( we're testing )
694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Ordered this to be my dedicated android cold storage wallet on: August 12, 2014, 01:10:45 AM
I'd probably go that route, but I'll use my old Samsung, reset it to factory, or flash a new bare OS into it, root it, then titanium all the apps out of it. (Use the root to DELETE all the apps, even the google apps). Just leave enough so it can connect via wifi.

LOL wtf? and you call that cold storage?

Are you still a fcktard who think bitcoin is some toy money?

Because the same question can be asked for USD, what would you do if you found $10k on the ground?

Bitcoin is money, now think how dumb you just sound.

My advice to you, spend it to have better education dumbass.

698  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-08-08] The signs it's time to pull out of Bitcoin investment on: August 09, 2014, 01:29:20 AM
Its actually the opposite, if you had followed bitcoins for years, you would know right now is a good time to buy in. I had this exact feeling before the run up to $250.

With this and similar good news we are getting lately, why the price hasn't started to climb yet? Shouldn't all this hype already boosted the demand?

Oh you can be sure the price will follow.
Its always lagging behind merchants adoption.
