Guys have few half bitcoin i earned through promoting projects and i am looking for a way to increase this btc, i am thinking of using USDT to lock my btc when bitcoin reach 9,000 plus and buy back when it drop back to 8000 plus, is this possible or just a stupid idea over all?
It is not a bad idea. As long, you can accept possibility bitcoin price not reach that $8000 and keep increased. Because in trading, something unexpected sometime happen. If me i will do it half, and the other to sell or exchange bitcoin to usdt if bitcoin price increased again and not dump anymore. |

I don't know what happened with the Ethereum, why this coin's price is not growing that much? Without Bitcoin pumping, Ethereum can't grow a bit. Where BCH or even BSV price keeps pumping like the bull run! Now, 1 BSV coin's price is more than double of 1 Ethereum. I am a holder of Etherem, but day by day I am being frustrated by holding it, it's price is far lower than 200 USD! Unbelievable. What do you think guys? Should I convert my ETH into BSV or BCH for more profit?
If me, i will keep stay with ETH. I mean, i think pump and dump coins is something that commong in market. If BCH/BSV look more profitable than ETH, then it is their time to pumped. But only need time for ETH to pump in future. I always think about that when see other coins that i hold increased in price. |

It is still save to invest in bitcoin now because it is still relatively cheap as it is still in the region below 10,000. The halving expectation is one of the factors that will rise price and this is the best time you can reinvest.
But it is better if he can find a low price so he can get more bitcoin. I suggest he not use all of the money he has but only uses some money, maybe half of the total money he has, so he has the other money as a reserve. But if he can accept the volatility of bitcoin price, then I guess that he can buy with all of his money, and hold it for a while. We hope that when the halving time comes, the price can increase higher, and maybe the price will reach $20k again. I will agree with you when you said OP use half amount of his total money. Because with him reserve it, he can use the rest to something that maybe urgent or can be back up if his investment be not good anymore. Since i heard OP said that withdrew like a month and half ago on coinbase to pay some college loans, i think he must have spare money for that thing again. |

You believe, i believe too.  I think everyone free to speculate. But for disclaimer, my speculation is not something that people can believe because no one can predict what can happen in future. There are no chance in my country to use bitcoin for daily living. Maybe if there are regulation from government in my country that we people can use bitcoin to pay in merchants, some online shop that sell digital needs will keep open. Because of my government regulation, some of them already closed their services and only p2p transaction that can possibly created.

If Libra is launched in 2020, it will have a positive influence on this market because Libra has a huge community and it will help this market get many new investors. And Libra will not compete with any altcoin or bitcoin in this market because Libra is a centralized cryptocurrency and stablecoin. For a fan of this market, I really hope in 2020 Libra can be launched although it is very difficult.

Coins that i will hold, ETH, XRP, TRX maybe, and little amount on LTC. But i don't have analysis for that all altcoins in my list. Only know that coins is top coin, big coin that still developed, will think only need time to get my profit with it. But if must pick 1, Ethereum is my favourite altcoin. But for all coins, bitcoin is the best for me.

It all comes with that way, nothing had sure that we will be experiencing a pump only. May halving is one factor that could help to make a change in market direction but to expect that it will go like that till we end up this year is certainly be a miracle.
We know how volatility means a lot and that is why we can't see prices become stable.
The market is quite boring, it seems that this year there will be a bullish and halving factor which has a high hype will occur this year, as well as the world war 3 that might make bitcoin an alternative asset. so in my opinion so many factors this year that will make the price of bitcoin increase. It is impossible for any asset to always go up or down all the time, we need to give bitcoin some time before it can move like that again, besides you make the observation that the market is boring which is something really interesting because to me this is not about obtaining any kind of entertainment, I am in this market for two reasons, the first one is because I really believe this market and its participants are part of something that will modify our lives forever and also I'm interested in the money that I can make. I think 2019 already enough time for bitcoin price to get that phase. Maybe with halving will trigger bullrun of bitcoin itself and there might be strong reason too why people keep optimistic about this year will be time for bitcoin pump. |

I expect price movements to move upwards in 2020. Prices were constantly falling. I spent 2 years very bad especially the altcoins. There was no good profit system other than IEOs. Altcoins can return in 2020.
In 2020 many people are waiting for Bitcoin Halving which can trigger the rise of other Crypto prices. But I think the price of $ 8000 is a good first step that makes investors look back at the Crypto project. At least people can see positive thing this year and keep optimistic not like last year when a lot of people really think bitcoin price will keep dumped or maybe not have chance to pumped. With this people who already involved, or new people can try to make investment in cryptocurrency especially bitcoin and make more demands. |

As which coin i need to invest in it.
ETH and BNB are altcoins which in my opinion have very good potential lately, especially altcoin BNB really shows a significant increase, many investors are investing BNB and many traders are trading these coins.
But between that 2 coins i will pick ETH. Not means BNB is bad, but for BNB everything will depends on Binance progress. No one know when something happen to exchanges again because if Binance get bad thing and serious problem, it will directly affect on BNB itself. |

Putting all my money on bitcoin is more smarter than going for altcoins? I think bitcoin will always surge even if it loses value today, i never think twice about this anymore because in the past if i never switched to altcoin i would have be in big profit today, what do you guys think about my plan? I wouldn't use word "smarter" but "safer" because each people know which coin that might be profitable for them either it is altcoin or bitcoin. But maybe a lot of people already knwo if make investment in bitcoin have risk less than altcoin because sometimes bitcoin price get pumped too. |

For me, developer don't focus on funds. If they really serious, they prove to make good project first. And then although without hard promotion, people will know about the project and will appreciate it. But now a lot of ICOs we can see only focus on how much funds they can get and not execute it well.

I believe ETH will reach a new ATH this year, the market is being bullish now even for some time to come, no doubt with the launch of ETH 2.0 and the POS concept will push ETH to be even better, I am not sure the price is high for ETH but I see ETH prices are slowly rising now, altcoin listed above there is nothing interesting for me to invest A lot of people really believe in ETH 2.0 maybe can impact for ETH price if it's 2.0 really come. What we should do maybe keep aware because there are usually people who already bought at cheap price and ready to dump it anytime they want. For now, i only save my data at google drive. But now i put 2fa via sms on mobile phone and sometime use google authenticator. But my risk is when my account get hacked, so all my data is revealed. I think people is right it wiill be good if save our assets in something that undestructable, but i don't have any choice for now.

My prediction in 2020, full year will be bull trend. I don't have any other reason beside of halving. Actually i really hope halving in this year can bring bitcoin to be better than now. Although not reach new ATH, but if almost reach last ATH already good for me.
Not too fast. This year? Bull year? Even if you say there's a halving coming in May that is not enough to think that the entire year will be very bullish. I expect a little stable price within this year that would somehow reaching the five-digits price. But i think that's just too much to think this market will be very bullish. That's right. We ain't got any assurance that this year is only be a bullish or still at bear season. We all can forget that volatility remains too hot, in fact, we all had always suffered huge changes just because of this. The current hash rate is implying something that we could expect for market surge but not actually is the only thing that could push through to its peak. But above all, this is great and this it means a lot for investors and traders. Honestly it is only prediction/speculation. If it is true maybe i will really grateful. If not maybe we should need more time for bitcoin pump. But maybe i will keep hold my bitcoin and like what Hamphser said, if price stable in this year is already good too for me. |
