681  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying bitcoin with little to no increased fees on: July 22, 2017, 11:27:08 PM
I'm having trouble finding bitcoin to buy with a 1:1 ratio or with really minor fees. Does anyone know any sites where I can purchase 1:1 bitcoin or know any renowned 1:1 sellers you can put me in contact with?
You have to buy bitcoin from exchange platforms directly but you have to be from any of the country they will take deposit from.  Kraken, bitstamp and coinbase are few of such exchanges where you can buy at market price. There are also some alternatives where you can buy bitcoin with perfectmoney or okpay for example yobit.net, changer.com and livecoin.net

Indeed, it is the matter of which exchanges you can deposit, you should mention where do you live?
In my country, we can buy 1:1 bitcoin without fees, just like what you are looking for, but I doubt we live in the same country Cheesy.
Usually, a good exchange offers free deposit but we should pay fees if want to withdraw fiat currency. Deposit or withdraw bitcoin, require fees for miners obviously, but not for the exchanges.
682  Economy / Economics / Re: Sensitive market at this moment. on: July 22, 2017, 12:45:35 PM
We saw enormous grows the last years in the cryptoworld.
The marketcap was exploding the last years.
And bitcoin marketcap exploding even bigger in this year.

Because the fast growth, I expect the cryptoworld to slow down.
You may expect that, but most people want cryptoworld to growth faster in order to catch up fiat currency, in term or usability.

Look at the marketcap the last month/weeks, Its almost a pump and dump system these days.
Instead of people holding on to the coins they have and let the cryptoworld grow healthy, develop further and get more adopted by countries etc.

No, people get scared the moment the market cap gets to high and instant sell with little profit.
If this trend keeps going, I feel the cryptoworld going nowhere the coming 2 years.

People do what they want with their funds, whether to invest on bitcoin or cash out what they've invested.
Bitcoin could grow because people believe in it and invest big amount of money, more adopters join in the market every year, that's why it keep growing, we can make it to slow down, let it grow naturally.

This market is very very sensitive, were talking about a big future here.
Yet people want to make quick bucks and keep on pump and dumping.
Normal situation for every cryptocurrency right now, traders everywhere and they want to make more profits.

I have no doubt in the following 4 years, the cryptoworld is at the 500B cap.
We all want to make money, thats why the most of us are investing anyway. But IMAGINE what the coins you own could be worth in 2020?
Bitcoin market cap is $46,056,840,572 right now. I guess bitcoin should reach over $20K in 4 years later in 2021, if bitoin price at $20K, then the market cap should be around $367B-374$ based on https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Controlled_supply. 500B? out of my calculation.
I imagine bitcoin could reach $15K in 2020, and I should have at least BTC10 in 2020.

My expectations of btc and eth are bright. Btc reaching the 5K mark at 2020. And eth going 1k.
Altcoins are such a gamble, for now they seem like a good way to make huge profits. But I dont see a real way of them getting used in the long future.

in 2020, bitcoin could reach $15K imo.
How could you calculate $500B market cap in 4 years later but in 2020 its price still $5K? are you nuts or what?
I'm not sure about ETH.

683  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Android App] Crypto Trakr - Digital currency tracker & manager on: July 22, 2017, 06:09:04 AM
I will mark this page, a good app for traders obviously. It well help everyone who don't want to miss a great price to buy and sell.
is it free for major features such as price notification? I mean, we could get notification from every market/trading exchanges and for certain coins that we want. I may give my reviews after try every features on your app, thanks for share.
684  Economy / Speculation / Re: To sell all?? on: July 21, 2017, 11:54:34 PM
Im losing alot money with this shitty war which decrease btc to 1900$ wtf why this happening. So i need to sell all and go away or i need to wait to 22july and maybe everything will back?

How is it going for you, did you sold bitcoin or wait?
The answers are clear, bitcoin will always recover and the last decline was caused by people who spread bad news and misleading perception for other users, so they decided to sell instead of buy, and whoever bought bitcoin at $1800, should be enjoy their profits right now.
Remember, whenever bitcoin price fall down, that is a good time to buy bitcoin, discount time.
685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still faster than Paypal. on: July 21, 2017, 11:28:44 PM
lol

comparing paypals exit terms to bitcoins internal use is silly.

i can send funds to someone else IN paypal in seconds.
i can send funds to someone else IN bitcoin in 10mins-3days.

i can request a fiat withdrawal from paypal to bank. 3-5 business days
i can request a fiat withdrawal from bitcoin to bank. 3-5 business days

if you are going to do a fair comparison... then make sure the comparison is accurate
Eg dont use internal use vs external use

You're right, but in my country:

We can withdraw cash from paypal to bank within 3-5 days
We can withdraw cash from bitcoin to bank within 1 hour-1 days.

The difference between both of it is just paypal transaction confirmed within seconds which bitcoin created can not do such things.
686  Economy / Economics / Re: bip 91 locks in!!! on: July 21, 2017, 10:48:02 PM
That's what i feel and i think right now. I hope the chain split will not happen so bitcoin remains one and the strongest. I guess during of bip91 signalling a price of bitcoin will persist at $2500 - $3000 possible.

how about 3000$~3500$ instead of 2500$~3000$ ?
because currently we can see Bitcoin prices around 2500$~2700$ even a few hours ago it went to 3000$.
expecting more increasing incoming days or week before 1 august and then a big thing will happen,
after that will we see another leg down ?
may be preparation for last year ? like they did every year ?

PS : i noticed Bip91 not really determined yet, because who knows what will happen if the miners choose the opposite option when the time comes ?

I think so, bitcoin price should increase over $3000 in the nearly future maybe in this week or in August but not sure when it will go down because the cycle of increase and decrease always repeated every year. How far it could decline? not sure either, maybe $2000-$2500.
A correction always happen if a rally happen, but we don't see it yet, bitcoin price stay at $2665 right now, so we should wait until all nodes get done by devs and miners.
687  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1 Million satoshis per day on: July 21, 2017, 12:00:05 AM
I would disagree with you on that, trading is not the same thing as gambling as the way they are both involved with risks, does not make them the same and yes its possible to make that amount of money in a day trading only knowing the right one to buy for example a coin thats about say 50 satoshis can climb up to about 120 satoshis within 6 hours whoch means if I invested 1btc in such, I would have made 100% return in 6 hours but he most important is knowing the right one to buy.
Oh i see! But that is the problem! How do you know exactly the coin to trade? I am not doubting you cause I know I don't have the skills and I have heard so many people talk about monitoring movements, reading candle charts and all that. But still, they all could still be assumptions. Kindly enlighten me and pardon my ignorance, as most of my questions right now is more or less that of an ignorant person and that is why I feel we are here so as to learn. So, how can I as an ignorant person get this knowledge to enable me from loosing all I have?

You will know which coins worth to buy after you have learn it, I mean some coin really has good idea and could be implemented.
then, join to several social media such as twitter, telegram, reddit, etc in order to get the latest news about their development.
Do not buy shitcoins and prefer to buy some famous - top 20 coins if you want to play save and it's profitable as well.
688  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I do? on: July 20, 2017, 11:24:05 PM
As hardfork maybe happen, so we need to do precaution act such as ; do not save bitcoin on exchanges as you don't have control to it, save bitcoin on some wallet that provide an option to export private keys such as bitcoin core or electrum wallet. Bitcoin is worth to hold, do not sell it because hardfork issues which has benn spread misleading news/speculations about it, look at current price, recover and rise over $2800-$2900, we're on rally again guys, over $3000 soon.
689  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-17] Scaling Countdown: Miners Begin Running Segwit2x Software on: July 20, 2017, 02:53:32 PM
If SegWit2x activates I'll eat a shoe.
LOL, so will I. There is a huge difference in signalling and actually implementing. I doubt if all who were signalling (90%+) will actually implement it. But at the end these all are speculations. Lets see how the events unfold.

Well, I would eat a shoe and a bag, if that is the case. Kidding aside, let's hope this marks the much-needed solution for Bitcoin problems we are presently experiencing. Though we should not expect it to be perfect as the whole Bitcoin is really an evolving organism, at least this should be providing respite before we should be tacking new challenges ahead.

Now, I am not a person who fully grasp everything happening right now in Bitcoin (well generation gap can be playing a big role here) so I am wondering if this does mean there would be a split or no need for a split? Anybody here who can tell me pointblank please...

And I would like to see all of you eat those things Grin, I'm not kidding, its not a joke.
We can speculate but the time has come and it seems segwit2x will be activated, look at the blocks that has been mined which most miners over 88,8% signaling for SegWit2x (intention). If BIP91 could reach over 80% hashrate and continues for a 336 block period, in this case, the split will not going to be happen as BIP141 will cease to be active when segwit2x is locked-in.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the death of block reward kill BTC? on: July 19, 2017, 11:59:20 PM
I don't think it will kill bitcoin even though miners only get fees, if scale solution has been implemented, then more people will be adopt bitcoin which make bitcoin price constantly increases over time.
I believe it will be happen over 100 years later when all of 21 Million bitcoin has mined, so we do not have to worry about that right now, because miners still generate enough bitcoin and get fees for every transaction that being made.
Because the number of bitcoins created each time a user discovers a new block - the block reward - is halved based on a fixed interval of blocks, and the time it takes on average to discover a block can vary based on mining power and the network difficulty, the exact time when the block reward is halved can vary as well. Consequently, the time the last Bitcoin will be created will also vary, and is subject to speculation based on assumptions.
If the mining power had remained constant since the first Bitcoin was mined, the last Bitcoin would have been mined somewhere near October 8th, 2140. Due to the mining power having increased overall over time, as of block 367,500 - assuming mining power remained constant from that block forward - the last Bitcoin will be mined on May 7th, 2140.

691  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin rise or fall? CONFUSED on: July 19, 2017, 03:54:17 PM
today i sold my bitcoins because the bitcoin is droping day by day,, dont know when it will rise again, i want to know what is the good time to buy bitcoin??

Bitcoin always recover as you've seen it right now, get back to over $2300-$2400 and it will increase further due to simple rule of bitcoin : limited supply and higher demand. Especially after segwit will be activated and hopefully there is no another coin which make community split into two sides because miners will choose the best solution for bitcoin, as they have big amount of bitcoin, won't risk their investment. If segwit works, then bitcoin suppose to reach fantastic prices in the next year,  we just need to be patient until the time has come.
692  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now... or on July 31st? on: July 19, 2017, 05:11:14 AM
It looks like the biggest uncertainties will be resolved this Friday, July 21st. With far above 80% support for SegWit2x, August 1st should not matter anymore (as BIP 148 will not trigger).

That would mean between now and Thursday should be the best time to buy.

On the other hand, August 1st is passed around everywhere as the "day of doom." Many uninformed people out there. So maybe wait till July 31st to buy? And will there be any risks left after Segwit is activated later this week?

The key question is: How much FUD will be left in the market after Friday...?

yes, it seems support for segwit2x has reach over 87% today and many miners has started to signaling BIP91. Bitcoin price has recovered and slowly increase, $2310 right now and possibly will continue to rise in the next week after Friday, July 21st. I say, better to buy right now instead of waiting for the end of this month, because segwit will be activated obviously and we will see bitcoin skyrocket again after its implemented.
693  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Are we already on the fork? on: July 19, 2017, 02:34:52 AM
Tried to send 0.02293095BTC 30 minutes ago from an exchange to my wallet, and still 0 confirmations. The exchange defined the speed and they always put at maximum.

Are we already on the fork? Did I lost my money?
No, there has not been a fork, and there being a fork would not effect your transaction getting included into a block or not. What is the txid of your transaction?

I'm also getting the message "unknown block versions being mined". What to do about it?
That is unrelated to your transaction not being confirmed. That warning is because more than 50 of the last 100 blocks are signalling for a consensus rule proposal which your wallet is not aware of.

It confirmed now. But I find strange that it took so much time just for a first confirmation.

Well, as it has been discussed all the way since the first time it was launched and lucky for us achow101 patiently answering all the question even though it was repeated again and again.
It took so much time, how long? Don't you know about many transactions ever stuck for days? back in May 2017 when the unconfirmed transaction reached ATH over 100K. Consider you are lucky enough to get it confirmed within hours.
694  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: July 17, 2017, 06:32:24 PM
I won't do such things as it mean lost for me, except you are sitting on profit to cash out at the current price.
Bitcoin price definitely will increase in the end of this month, just wait with patience and time will reveal what happen in this uncertain situation of bitcoin.
I do agree with some people here, suggest to take a decision that suit to your financial condition, whether your funds will be enough until the time for bitcoin increase rapidly again or it may continue to decline for months. But, I vote for bitcoin recover in this month and going up on August.
695  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHEN will BTC rise again and WHY? on: July 17, 2017, 05:42:01 PM
The price is still considerably higher than it was when it was $250 considerably higher than it was when it was $50. It's still considerably higher than it was what it was $600. It'll come back up after August 1st from people see that there's nothing to panic about that everything's going to be fine. There's not much you can do right now it will come up probably hit around 2800 before the first and then drop back around 2200 right before the first. After the first it should shoot back up to around 2900 to stay there for a period of time.

I agree with you, the best scenario in my head for bitcoin prices. Many people really take the bait and sell their bitcoin just because the possibility of hard fork and they have frightened even before it happen, but core teams has make it clear that August 1st and hard fork maybe negligible and we can do some prevention measures to make our bitcoin save. We will see how bitcoin could recover through this problem, but who still believe in bitcoin, keep hold and buy more cheaper coins.
696  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy before aug 1 or after? on: July 17, 2017, 04:59:12 PM
Hi guys. Im waiting and hoping this dump
Will continue to 1300 or 1500 before i buy
Which do you think is more ideal
Before aug 1 so i can participate if it splits
Or after aug 1 so i can read the market reaction?

I don't think bitcoin could drop back to $1300-$1500 again, and I guess $1820 will be the lowest price of bitcoin at the moment, if you missed that chance then you should wait for another decrease.
Never spend all of your capital, divide into some amounts and buy 1-2 times before August 1st, and buy more than 2-3 times after August 1st whwther it will rise up or decline as bitcoin suppose to increase after segwit activated.

697  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: If Segwit2x gains 90% support before Aug 1st, will BIP148 still go live? on: July 17, 2017, 04:16:02 PM
I'm not sure whether segwit or segwit2x will be the one or better than each-other.
But I've seen on the news that miners expected to signaling segwit2x on Friday July 21, but it seems segwit2x support has reach over 88%, whether it could reach 90-95% in the end of this month or miners will switch to segwit, then chain split not necessary to be happen. Do you think it could be happen?
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will all coins continue to go down until 1st August? on: July 17, 2017, 03:44:33 PM
Mostly, but not all of it of course. people like to diversify their investment, so if bitcoin price goes up then altcoins will follow it and take a look at current price, most coins on the rise due to people buy back after significant decline. Let's see how long it could last until next correction, I expected for big rally in the end of this month because miners has show their intention to signal segwit2x early http://www.coindesk.com/bip91-begins-bitcoins-miners-signal-segwit2x-scaling-proposal-early/
699  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Another opportunity to buy Bitcoin at Cheap price on: July 17, 2017, 02:02:11 PM
Many traders are selling off their Bitcoin because of what will probably happen on August 1. https://coindesk.com market index show Bitcoin trading below $2000 I think this is the best time to buy as the dump is see to be over at the moment. Having been following crytocurrency for quite some time now I see this as another way of dumping bitcoin lower so the professional and skillful traders to buy low and take profit when the price get to $2800. For your information, nothing serious is going to happen August 1.

Indeed, the best time to get more cheaper coins before it goes up in rally on August. Bitcoin has been trading below $2000 yesterday and it just recover, rise up around $200 right now, people who buy it at the lowest point could get good profits if they want to sell today, but we might see the price rise even more in few days later. It is a gamble if you want to buy and sell at this uncertain news of bitcoin, who can predict it precisely? But, I'm sure it will get back to over $2500.
700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we know about Aug 1 before Aug 1? on: July 17, 2017, 12:38:35 PM
Maybe I'm fantasizing but haven't markets priced in Aug 1 already?

Will we have to wait until the very day to know whether soft or hard fork or whatever?

Or can you pick up signs that the solution is decided already while cryptos are behaving like a tempest in a teapot?

the activation and the result of that date is a process not something that happens over night without anybody knowing and being caught off guard.

first miners start signalling then a total hashrate that is behind every proposal becomes clear and based on that you can see what the outcome will be. so far there is about 90% behind SegWit and that means it will be activated without any problems.

some people love to create disruption and say miners will pull out near the end but i like to stick to reality rather than what may happen.

and the signalling and the locked in status is achieved in one difficulty period if i am not mistaken which is 2016 blocks. (someone should verify this since i am not sure how timeframe of each of these things go, there are too much information
p.s the price actions are 70% manipulation and 30% panic sells.

"So far there is about 90% behind SegWit"-  could you clarify that?  From who? From what I've read the core group of programmers are not in agreement anywhere close to 90%.  Also isn't it important to clarify if you're speaking towards SegWit or SegWit2?

If 90% believe it would be activated without any problems there certainly would be far less panic than there is right?  ( and I'm speaking of panic from the big players in BTC like the heads of each exchange).

Don't you know about segwit2x is just a bait to activate segwit?
I'm sure he was talked about both of it, check at https://coin.dance/blocks as mining pools mostly support segwit2x.
But BIP141 will be activated on August 1st, so we will know about miners signal for it or not, but it seems like chain split will be happen.
People shouldn't panic due to this news as there is no something dangerous that may harm your bitcoin. Read at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2017191.0
