BTC will only take off once there is a killer use for it.
There already is.

theirs a bunch of them

Then my mom would be using them (the best measument device for these kinds of things)  Grin

My girlfriend's mother still won't/doesn't use the internet. That can't be a good measurement device lol

I have the same feelings, the only thing holding me back is of course worry.

don't worry, be happy!  Wink

Thanks for the reminder  Grin

Do you folks actually make enough profit to warrant the amount of time you spend involved with bitcoin price watching?
I realize many do it for fun but why not do it with stocks where there are 1000s of more opportunities for good trades? Instead you waste time on this puny thing called bitcoin trading? The time spent here you could watch 100 stocks closely and trade them at 5-10 bucks to get in or out. Then there are divs too if you time things right.

Bitcoin is riskier too...

I reckon if people who actually made money figured out what they made per hour invested in bitcoin watching they would cry :-)

Me? I am a div growth investor who drips. That is why i am not trading. I buy companies to hold for a long time.

Edit: Actually don't want to share that lol

And the wall is gone. What will Mr. M do next?

Edit: Sneaky! That last person sold 1.3k btc at 10.80 and is now hoping to buy them back at $10.66
687  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: November 05, 2012, 12:40:25 AM

692  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we in a Bear Market right now? on: November 04, 2012, 05:35:10 PM
Growwwll GRRLL!!    12 (28.6%)
MooooohOOO!    30 (71.4%)
Total Voters: 42

(There are many factors, but this is just a guess.) If we go by these results, we are most likely in a bear market. (71.4% are probably holding bitcoins, 28.6% are probably holding cash. This makes it easier to go down than up.)

694  Economy / Speculation / Re: How will the major events of Bitcoin coming soon affect its prices on: November 04, 2012, 01:06:56 AM
So Bitcoin is soon gettign 4 years old and it's generation rate will be halven. In the other hand, the ASIC foundries are getting their machines running hot. I am just a student from Hong Kong, which I don't really have much ideas on how will the Bitcoin prices goes in the near future, while I am being a tiny portion of the Bitcoin Economy, I would like to know your predictions towards it and the reasons behind.

Hope I could get some replies and have more clues on it.

Is Zhou Tong your older brother?

Is your name Zhou Tong? (FTFY)
