681  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Post your PGP key, add an encrypted message, open for anyone. on: September 11, 2023, 01:37:58 PM
Surprise, no more members?
I don't think anyone is denying the merit reward then why is not many people joining. Is it too hard to learn the skill for bitcointalk members? You need a good understanding of encryption and you need to use it regularly to protect your privacy. It's not something just about fun but it's necessary too.

682  Economy / Gambling / Re: OXBET ITS NOT RELATED TO 1XBET or 1Xbit? on: September 11, 2023, 01:29:54 PM
Like the subject of the thread said.

OXBET ITS NOT RELATED TO 1XBET or 1Xbit?

I arrive to this questions because i dont really want to see again people here or from outside the forum being hooked by the same guys as allways.

I remember not so long ago some ussers detect a casino naming like Coinslotty or something like that who have some joints to the 1xbit bussiness, and ended up being another scams for the same guys.

So my question is, are they again here with another name? The name its clearly similar and its a combination and changing the 1 for a 0.
If they are new, maybe they only see the big marketing of 1xbet on SerieA for example and YT so they want to use the similarity of the name to have some good leverage.

I think they are not so common here in the forum because you are not gonna choose that name with the reputation that follow them here.

What do you think?

Disclaimer: I am not accusing anyone. Im only here to point this and evacute a doubt. if someone is more specialized and can do more research welcome, like if they have the same certificate to operate, or the offices are in the same palce, etc.
You are accusing a new brand who are trying to reach out to potential players and you are doing it without any reference? It does not look good. If you found any connection other than the similar sound name then post, it will read better, look better.

but they sure as hell caught your attention because of the name.
_XBET.
There are 26 English letters, 10 digits and not sure how many special characters. So when any of them will be in use we will see a new thread every time? LOL
683  Other / Meta / Re: Please I keep getting logged out of the forum from my browser and don't know why on: September 11, 2023, 01:10:26 PM
If using TOR connection with orbot then chances of knowing anyone else has logged in is zero. It's only useful when someone is using clear net.

@CryptoHeadlineNews, you seem panicking.

https://ninjastic.space/user/CryptoHeadlineNews?addresses

There are 5 addresses so far I can see. If anything happen to your account and change behavior, people will easily find it out as long as the other person will not have access of your private key. Keep your wallets safe.

For this one, uninstall Chrome, if you are fine to reset the device then reset. Install the browser again.Login, then change account password. Hopefully it will sort out.
684  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.0168 BTC loan, 10%, 8 weeks. on: September 11, 2023, 12:59:06 PM
The lender should know that there is a level of volatility with this loan which applies to both parties since the loan is in BTC, and the repayment is in USD.
If the BTC price drops 50%, the borrower pays double the amount of BTC lent.
If the BTC price rises 100%, the lender receives 50% less BTC than lent.
I have not seen a lender to lend their money this way before and doubt anyone will do. You are not offering them anything interesting. BTC price is down already which means giving your BTC means they will lose their stash after 8 weeks. Who cares the USD value especially the lenders in Bitcointalk.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: * | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: September 11, 2023, 12:50:20 PM
Finally I got to my PC and paid the fee, as soon as the transaction is confirmed I will write the necessary PM.
Last time I checked, it was me only but now I see we have 6 incoming so far including my one. Keep it coming. Everyone is now confided that they are going to have a large prize pool. Any speculation how much it could be? My guess it will be over 0.2 BTC.

I don’t see quotes for qualification right now, but there are quotes for reaching the final and we can evaluate the team’s chances based on them:

Paris Saint Germain 8.00

Newcastle United 11.00

Ac Milan 17.00

Borussia Dortmund 17.00
For few moments I thought it's about group qualification though LOL
I am just an average joe and don't have much courage. PSG and Ac Milan are two teams to qualify the group stage.
686  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The story of Betnomi.com (Exit Scam) on: September 11, 2023, 12:38:22 PM
So, it means that they're still following what's going on here, but not planning to give any update about what's going on. It's nothing new to distrust users who left negative feedback on your profile, but I'm wondering why they added these few new names to their trust list?
Leaving negative feedback on Betnomi profile is probably only thing what we can do, though, it's pointless, I doubt that in future they're going to something with Betnomi brand, it's possible that they will come with new brand.
'
I had laugh seeing their trust list. They scammed, failed to continue business but now they are back, perfecting their trust setting LOL.
Are they hoping to be in DT by any chance LOL?

A good example of scammers becoming a joke when they get caught red handed.

[...snip...]

Why we need in Archival board Chinese students with majority threads in 2011 ?
Find something that is worth for discussing. It's not interesting at all.

You are still new to the forum and know a very little about the culture. When you are a community which is new to you, take your time to learn the culture then adopt. If they find something worthy in you they will receive your message. Prove your worth first.
688  Other / Meta / Re: Too Many Forum Boards - Outdated Threads - Let's Delete Boards on: September 10, 2023, 10:07:15 AM
Much less forum boards can give a lot more info for members, which is not so complicated and not outdated.
You are new so everything are too much for you. This forum is 14 years old not 14 days, 14 weeks or 14 months. The baby who born 14 years ago he or she is now a teen. Everything in this forum is history and you don't alter your history.

We are good with everything we have. Thank you.
689  Economy / Reputation / Re: JollyGood is trusted by - and question. on: September 10, 2023, 09:35:43 AM
@BitcoinGirl.Club There is no need for you to add more drama to the thread; you are diverting the thread's objective to something else. If you want to discuss backscratchers, open a new thread and make it rain.
Darling I am not diverting it at all. In fact it's very important to understand the root of the problem. That's what I wanted to show who have him in their trust page.

JollyGood is a DT power seeker, he eat for it, poo for it, sleep for it. He is manipulating the trust system for his own benefits.

He will add those if they are somehow powerful member in the community and will wait for them to vote him back.
He will add those to his DT setting who voted him for DT.
He will remove those from his DT setting who devoted him from DT.
He devote those who devotes him from DT.

Data/statistics does not lie, all my efforts were to show the data.

JollyGood is a prime example of how dangerous it can be if you trust a power seeker. Power seekers use your trust to fulfill their own desires, to justify their wrong. Unfortunately, he is using you too like others.

I am pretty sure, you and those of others who are giving him your unverified trust, voted for him, dare to go against him in a logical argument.

Involve in a conversation which he does not like to go against him, challenge his hunger of seeking power, show some disagreement with him where it is needed, if you are already convinced then remove your vote for him; very soon you will also find yourself lost his vote, he will keep saying you are in his ignore list, he will starts to disrespecting you with insulting language and obviously he will add you back but this time you will be in his distrust list. The whole process may take few months to couple years to make it look genuine.

This is a good example.

In his early days he added TP who is now TSC: https://loyce.club/trust/2020-01-11_Sat_18.59h/1016855.html
But former TP was ugly and badass MF LOL so he devoted him: https://loyce.club/trust/2020-10-10_Sat_05.17h/1016855.html
Obviously he could not remove him immediately, it will look obvious. After 1.6 years he removed TP: https://loyce.club/trust/2022-05-28_Sat_05.06h/1016855.html
690  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit - be aware, i was lucky on: September 10, 2023, 08:43:29 AM
Typically, casino promotion with wagering requirements doesn’t count some bet with low house edge or in his case 1.01 because this is purely not gambling but rather just a bet to claim reward which is not the way promotion was intended. Promotion is to make user engage on gambling by claiming the reward. Casino is a business after all.
To be honest it does not make sense. You give me an option then when I use it you tell me I abused it, it is not allowed. Is it a joke?
If that happen to me then I will be mad and will not think a second to create a flag against the casino.

Rollbit is very aware of it as far as I can remember now. In a thread they talked about it as well.

Obviously Casino is a business not a charity but that does not give them license to do whatever they want. Either remove the odd which are 99.99999% easy to win or give the winning without making an excuse. Would they refund if such a bet was lost? No.
691  Economy / Reputation / Re: Alts of scammer "buyingtechnow" on: September 10, 2023, 08:18:04 AM
Quote
Forum does not ban scammers or ponzi promoters.

If the Forum doesn't ban scammers and ponzi promoters, is it that the Forum is promoting the ponzi promoters and scammers? Just asking though.
This tempted me to check how long you are in the forum. Well obviously you are not here for enough time and don't know much about the code of conduct of the forum. Yes, scam, and things like ponzi, mlm, bad business, nothing are moderated by the forum officials. You must read forum rules before starting an argument of why and why not. The reason is known to all of us for years. There are no need for me to explain it again.

It would be damn hard to even go deeper for more evidence as the case maybe be, I mean that's a lot of evidence the guy has gotten so far, or are you saying that his evidence is not evidence enough to get eyes to be on those accounts? That's a lot of work you know 😅.
And plagiarism is something most members find hard to avoid .
It was answered to talk about banning or not banning the account. Since you have no idea about above, obviously your answer did not comply too.
692  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is Blazed alive? on: September 10, 2023, 08:08:04 AM
You have to look at it all differently to be honest.

Some people are definitely still alive, they just either got rich off the last bull run or maybe just found other things like family etc etc... Wink

Yes, zepher was a soul of greatness, and I still can't believe it's been almost 5 years, I knew him quite well, we spent time in real life together etc. It was hard accepting his passing as well, due to the short notice after he vanished a few months earlier. Huh

Anyhow, I would not get too deep into this sort of thing - as I said, there are many reasons people leave this forum, intentionally or unintentionally. Why bother? That is 100% their own business.

Someday I will leave as well. Will I inform anyone? Maybe, maybe not. Who knows? Wink

You see where I'm going right? Let this thread just die in the candle light of the bitcoin warriors who were lucky to be before us here - I think it's for the best. Smiley

I would not comment if the last post of this thread was two or a few days ago. Since it's in a few hours ago, it means the thread is still alive.

In the last six months I think I have seen many of such threads. Where is member x/alive/dead/holidays/underground/convicted/ran away? LOL

It's the questions like they are so worried about the member. It just don't make sense. You are not too close to him that is why you are not informed, you have no second contact or any contact at all. If you are not too close to him then why would you even care for the answer? If someone is too close to him and care for him and both of them have good friendship then they already know the answer. You don't need a thread for it.
693  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be careful!!! VITALIK BUTERIN'S ACCOUNT X WAS HACKED on: September 10, 2023, 07:53:54 AM
If they can hack his accounts, they can hack any of us. I guess the only difference is that hackers don't find us interesting.
When people become big they don't have time to maintain their social network. They hire people to manage those networks and they get paid a lot of money for doing it. So when a celebrity or a person with huge influence get their account hacked, it does not make me surprise. On the other hand, you, me, and others who have enough time for us keep our things [if we are in social media] in our hand. If this is important to us then we use every security measures available like 2FA and things.

I do not think a social media account for VITALIK and other high end influencers have any importance.

Ethereum founder and other crypto well known people continue to remain careless for hackers to scam people using their account, I too will say they do not care about their followers.
Obviously they are not in control of their own social accounts. As explained above.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: * | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: September 10, 2023, 07:45:32 AM
Address is the same and updated in OP [bc1q3rrxzuknzfvlclprprjshqruvjhp5tettcthea]. Once you've paid 2mbtc, pls PM me with your TX details and Superbru username Smiley
buwaytress can you tell me what is the deadline for sending 2mbtc for application in this pool?
I am not sure that I can send it in next three days, but after that I should be fine.
Champions League starts on September 19 but I want to be ready and set on time.
Of course the time will be at least even few days after the first kick off and your three days means you are good enough to send the fund any time. Just don't worry. I saw some are waiting for sponsorship. Those of you who are not regular in the pool maybe don't have any idea that CL pool is one of the popular pool after EPL pool. You guys are just worried for nothing. Come on, it's just 2 mBTC but you feel like you are going to give away 2 BTC LOL

buwaytress bro! fees paid.
695  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: My crypto news site - cryptotalk.tech on: September 09, 2023, 02:34:27 PM
I didn't know Cryptotalk dot org was a forum with a bad reputation, I chose this domain because was easy to remember for all. Domains Like CryptoNews are premium, and they aren't cheap at all.
I will say you are lucky to have such a good domain name. There are no need to change it. Branding is necessary. That .org domain made a negative branding for the name, but that does not mean the other TLD just give up. If your site produce good contents and able to benefit your subscribers then I don't see you will have any problem.

Premium domains are too much to spend for a small business. I like the red all over in your site. Good luck.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling beginners must not joke with casino announcement on: September 09, 2023, 02:07:00 PM
If you want try them out then make sure that they have an announcement thread opened on the Bitcointalk forum, few new casinos made it to the forum and still turn scam, they are been dealt with by raising an alarm and red tagging their account, This spreads information all over the forum and outside the forum, at least many are saved from becoming the next victim.

Compare this to if the new casino has no Bitcointalk ANN, it will take time before many people know that the casino is already scamming their users, on the long run, the casino must have made a handful of money from scamming their customers.
Having a bitcointalk announcement thread does not legitimate a business. As you already said there are still risk. When a business scam then no matter if they have an account in bitcointalk or not, they will not give a cent back, they don't have to.

The best practice to legitimate a gambling site is to check if they have a valid license. So that if something unpleasant happen to you then you can complain the license body. However there are many crypto currency gambling platform who have no license but until they were able to prove their worth, it's not easy to gamble with the safely.
697  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit - be aware, i was lucky on: September 09, 2023, 01:58:37 PM
Occasionally, I made 1.01 bets in pursuit of their Level up bonus. If such bets were not allowed, it raises the question of why Rollbit offered those odds in the first place.
As far as I remember I saw some discussion around this 1.01 odd bets. They have it but when someone use it then they think it is being abused. If something is giving so much trouble to the business then isn't it better to remove it?

Not totally an abused such as cheating but rather an abused to their promotion for using a safe bet to complete which they didn’t anticipate as loop hole to claim their prize in sure manner.
You are telling people to take risk intentionally? I don't know if that make even any sense. Either Rollbit is not aware [which I doubt] or they knowingly kept this so that they can selectively accuse people for abusing their system.

I really don't have a good picture about Rollbit so far.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: September 09, 2023, 01:29:32 PM
I definitely noticed jayce and IIRC he wasn't a contender before.
I think lady luck rotates each year. Last year she was having affair with KTChampions, they had a good summer together but this year she thought KTChampions lost his youth so she decided to move with Jayce. Give her good time brother 😉

but I mostly blame the problems with the VPN for making it hard for me to read the analytics.
Free VPNs are slow. I used to use free VPN and used to think that's working fine until I had a paid VPN. The difference is very clear. With a paid VPN you do not feel any difference between using VPN and the regular network.
699  Economy / Reputation / Re: Alts of scammer "buyingtechnow" on: September 09, 2023, 01:18:58 PM
you should find a plagiarized post of one of these accounts from somewhere else without a source.
Your suggestion is like go and check deep into their history, by any means find something which can be accused as plagiarism then you will be easily get the accounts banned LOL.
I think that's a wrong reason to be in the forum.

I think that mods should consider to ban buyingtechnow
Forum does not ban scammers or ponzi promoters.

So is this address bc1q3rrxzuknzfvlclprprjshqruvjhp5tettcthea still valid?

Yes! It's the same as last year! Do you have VPN issues for Superbru?

Pool is now open to accept fees. I'll finalise sponsorship details this weekend.

Address is the same and updated in OP [bc1q3rrxzuknzfvlclprprjshqruvjhp5tettcthea]. Once you've paid 2mbtc, pls PM me with your TX details and Superbru username Smiley

As of now, we have 22 confirmed and 1 tentative participants. Feel free to invite people you know. The more we have, the bigger the sponsor incentive to sweeten the pot.
Good to know. I will be sending my fees in few hours to make it official. May we know who are the interested brands looking forward to sponsor the pool and what offers they put on the table? Last year we had Betnomi  I think?
