681  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚖️ Crypto Gambling Foundation ⚖️ - Fair Gambling For All on: September 21, 2017, 11:13:19 AM
I tried to register but did not receive the confirmation mail. tried to resend the confirmation mail a few times without success.

who will take care of this problem?
thx

Looking into this now. Was working previously.

It is nice that there is an initiative for making everything fair and standardized. Few questions though, I'd like to discuss this in-depth.

1. I would like to know if you plan this to be something like the ICANN of cryptocurrency gambling?
2. How will this foundation enforce their laws onto gambling sites?
3. Who will govern the foundation?
     a. If there would be a governing body, who will vote?
     b. If there would be election, who are eligible to vote?

I'll think of more questions and you'll surely hear more from me here on this thread.

Realistically we can only enforce rules onto gambling sites that join up with the foundation, much like a gaming license provider would enforce rules onto their license holders. Since that isn't the case this is all the more necessary. As far as voting on matters we'd probably work something out so all websites get a vote and individuals are able to vote with a weight that makes sense relative to the two.

Also, I would like to stress that this isn't just about provably fair, that is just one piece of it. Realistically, abusive terms and conditions are an equally big issue in this space at the moment. Further, I don't think this is something that will work until we manage to decentralize in some meaningful way.
I see. So this would be indeed akin to some sort of treaty between countries where the only way you can enforce it is to have sites sign up. I guess it would be nice if all the gambling sites, old and new, would register here. But similar again to treaties, there are no way we can force anybody to sign up.

The initiative will really impact the crypto gambling industry for sure, it would just really take a lot of effort to make people join the association.
682  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice ICO on: September 21, 2017, 11:04:16 AM
I would think that they would generate twice, if not even trice, the amount betking and bitdice would have ever generated. primedice has been in the industry for quite a long time and I think they have the biggest number of players for a dice only site. But that is yet to be seen and we'll see if ever they do ask for investments.

https://ibb.co/m4fstk

Note that the junk bets which the script is playing are not shown. There are few hundreds of bets which is not shown

What do u think of it? All bets are placed at 2x high.
Cool, huh? Cheesy

Removed junk bets? Does that mean you intentionally left out some parts for purposes of showing your script is working? Well, regardless whether you show those or not, there is really now script that can beat the casino at their game. There is a reason why casinos are still standing and there are a lot of gamblers that are poor now.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: September 20, 2017, 07:41:33 PM
Yeah your story is sad but trust me, your life is just like many people over there, So be strong, don't let those fucking problems let you down, you need to stay away from those gambling website and focus your every single fucking power to work work and work. Gambling is just ruining 95% people playing it, only 5% left are the luckies.
I agree with you mate. not all gamblers have given a chance to make them rich in gambling. So that's one of the reason they won't stop gambling. It's better to invest your money somewhere else and you can also spend some things that really important for you and your family rather than using it in gambling which will not give you any good.

There is like less than 1% only that got rich from gambling. If a lot of people got rich from gambling, I think everybody just went into the casinos and played and then the casinos will all close down because they are losing money. But in reality, that is not the case. There are more people that got poor in gambling and the casinos keep on building new and bigger casinos every day.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: September 20, 2017, 07:36:26 PM
When I gamble I always set for myrself a limit otherwise I all lose. It's hard for me to stay at the right time.I'm a gambling man.

Correct! If you don't set limits for sure any gambler will be tempted to just deposit and deposit as much as he can whenever he loses his initial bank roll.
Having no limits is a gambling newbie mistake and people should really learn first before they even start to gamble. It may not seem like it's minuscule
but the effect is huge!
686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: September 20, 2017, 07:02:52 PM
Safest way for me is to store them in a hardware wallet or a separate computer that will never be connected to the internet. The first option requires you to buy a hardware wallet like trezor or ledger, both are pretty good but the first one had security issues with the chip they are currently using. The second option is safe because your private keys will never leave the computer, all you do is sign from the offline computer and broadcast it on the online one, though this method is quite complicated.
687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hackers want to get paid/ransom in bitcoins? on: September 20, 2017, 06:48:57 PM
I'm still new to the bitcoin universe. I was wondering what are the advantages for an hacker to get ransom or get paid in bitcoins? Like the WannaCry guys did. Can't they be tracked ?

Because in theory it is hard to trace, but it is traceable with enough effort. It is anonymous if you exercise the precaution needed.
It is also highly valuable and can be exchanged in most countries. It just really boils down how careful the hackers are with exchanging it for fiat.
688  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Paying with Btcoin on: September 19, 2017, 05:57:35 PM
Where can pay with BTC to electrical Institute for getting training course .
Currently impossible for now. The only way you can pay most people is that you need fiat. So you'll have to convert from bitcoins to fiat then pay.
I know it is quite inconvenient, but that is the only way. Maybe the day will come and that we can just take out our smart phones and just pay with bitcoins.
689  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: September 18, 2017, 09:02:49 PM
That's easy. Just buy bitcoins! Easy as that.
Now bitcoin prices are pretty low and likely we'll hit the all time high again and we'll surely be able to surpass that $5,000 before the year end.
And likely we'll hit $8,000 before or after year's end. So that means your money has already doubled!
690  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: September 18, 2017, 08:13:30 PM
I think bitcoins has a few paths to go to.

First, it retains the status quo. Which means that we continue where we are right now. Something that the governments are still trying to figure out what and still needs a lot of adoption.

Second, become mainstream payments method. This is what Satoshi intended bitcoins to be used for. Possibly this is the best case scenario and that we can use bitcoins like how we use fiat.

Third, every government of the world bans bitcoins. This would be the worse case scenario. Which, if it would happen, will prevent anyone to ever use bitcoins. If it would be illegal in every state, then it would only be legal in the internet. No one will buy and sell it as it will be very risky.
691  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $ 4000 on: September 18, 2017, 08:03:55 PM
After the issue that got initiated due to the information revealed from China, the entire digital currency market felt low. This soon started to recover and started to grow higher from the lower price that was found below $3000. Now this has started to grow and now it's found above $4000, and the same might cross $5000 soon.
Likely all the news was just made up! China did not really release any new laws but what was released were just news articles stating that Chinese officials are thinking of regulating ICOs and bitcoin exchanges. Those were just speculation! This shows how fragile the cryptocurrency market is. Now the whales totally profited shit tons with this, because they were able to buy loads of cheap alts.
692  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Announcing bitdoubler.io on: September 18, 2017, 08:00:52 PM
You know you guys are directly aiding people to scam other people and services, right?
These kinds of services aren't really helping anyone. What's the point of double spending a transaction anyway?
For sure you guys have something like "this is for educational purposes only", which actually translate to,
"this is a scam tool and highly illegal" like most hacks, cheats, and scams posted on the internet.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy on Freebitco.in and Bitsler on: September 15, 2017, 10:08:59 AM
I too play on both site, haven't won any on Freebitco, but in Bitsler i won a lot than losing to make it simple i am still positive in Bitsler, I don't have any strategy i just press the roll button when i bet, i don't have a pattern on my bets i just bet what i want. I've tried before using strategy and it didn't make me won the game but i loss because of using strategy.

That's a better strategy than using some fixed strategy like martin gale. Just enjoy it, if you win then good, if you lose then better luck next time. Don't ever think that gambling could be a means of profiting and it could be a job. It is just for entertainment. So there is really no reason to use a strategy, unless you enjoy using strategies and you don't mind the risk of using it.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm a gambler - where can I sell bitcoin for USD? on: September 15, 2017, 09:58:35 AM
I'm a customer of betonline (tigergaming) and don't want to use coinbase, even through an intermediary wallet, because they can and will trace the account, so where can I sell my btc?

You can try localbitcoins, that is the usual go to of people that want to buy and sell bitcoins. Just beware of scammers though, there is a way that you still get scammed even if they deposited it on your bank account. Good luck.

Just curious though, why you do not want to use coinbase?
695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any true blockchain based gambling game ? on: September 15, 2017, 09:53:46 AM
Not sure why you want these kinds of games, usually this also involves your bet being 1 deposit 1 bet style. Not sure if there is a term for it, but that is how it usually is, it's similar to secondstrade. I don't think it's a good gambling model since players have to pay for miner's fee and also the gambling site has to do so. In the end profits get eaten on both sides.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with altcoins on: September 15, 2017, 07:33:48 AM
I usually gamble with those free coins on yobit and simply dice it them. I have read this tip before here on forum and I just tried it recently, it's like unlimited gambling but it's only good for those people that doesn't into profit but just want to enjoy dice game since it is freecoins, don't expect too much with it.

This strategy is very tiring, I knew it before when I visited yobit but those coins doesn't have real value and if you'll be getting ETH or DOGE there mostly it estimates the cost only $0.0000000001 so that's very a small amount. There's nothing wrong with it since you are only looking to have fun with them.

Yeah. If you are just doing gambling for fun then it is the safest way to do it, using the free satoshis or other coin in a certain gambling site will do, but if you are going to make some deposits then gamble for fun? Maybe you are just kidding buddy, there is no person that would be happy when he is losing his money, so we have to think it carefully first before doing gambling.

It's mostly the same with other casino's that are offering play money and with yobit it's their play money. It's really fun if you just want to dice and see for yourself on how lucky you are. I see dicers there are serious because they have bankrolls and upon looking at the fast rolls their most of them are intense dicers.

Play money are indeed fun, especially if you just want to try a system or some kind of martin gale method you just thought off. It has no risks and you just really do play for fun if you use play money. Though only a few sites offer real play money, like fortune jack. Most gambling sites offer faucets and not play money, which is actually hard to play with, since most of the time you just bust the faucet claims.

698  Economy / Gambling / Re: Participate in chess tournament and win bitcoins! on: September 14, 2017, 05:45:30 PM
We will consider changing the time control for the next tournament. For this tournament we will keep the time control as 1 min with no increment.

1 minute is indeed too short especially for amateurs. Maybe this is good for pros but amateurs will likely be hit by the time limit and just instantly lose. It would be like a tournament where the winner is the guy who moves the fastest.

Still an interesting gambling game though. Good luck to all participants.
699  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any multiplayer games where you can bet bitcoin? on: September 14, 2017, 05:27:50 PM
I want fun, multiplayer games to make bets with my friends using Bitcoin. My favorite of all times that I've seen was this:

www.battlecoin.org

Unfortunately the project is abandoned. It could have been awesome if it got perfected with the lag problems fixed and so on. I love the idea of arcade games mixed with bitcoin. I was wondering if anyone knows any similar games where you can bet some bitcoin at.

I think there was a rock, paper, scissors game around here somewhere. There you can battle each other and the site just takes a percentage of the bets.
I haven't tried it yet but seems interesting to play it. Though, I think there is only a limited kinds of these games that could be made, so you also have
limited choices for multiplier games.
700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Open AI Gambling Bot/Discussion on: September 14, 2017, 05:22:11 PM
Machine Learning, Neural Networks and other AI related terms, these breakthrough are still into development, decades of research and developments putting a possibility to beat human skills and wisdom.Having an AI or Bot in Gambling is still possible by feeding million of data like events, patterns, motion analysis,DEJAVUs but it needs massive data centers and servers to perform that task, the bottomline is the excitement and the thrills , FUDs and other mix motions is gone and it could be boring when gambling are played by the machines. we could become an spectator and not a player after all.

Well there would come a time that those scifi movies will come true. Imagine a world like terminator, I-robot, and the matrix. Those are possible once we develop a super smart learning computer. Gambling would be the least of its problem when it happens for sure. Gambling would just be a simple task for a sophisticated AI. Though I am not sure if we would see it in our lifetime. It will likely take a whole lot of time.
