681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A matter of family conflict regarding Bitcoin. on: September 20, 2023, 08:13:16 PM
Bitcoin is just a tool, it will always be the people who irresponsibly investing in bitcoin that will have to be blame whatever crime they are facing. Just like what we mostly heard about money that it’s the root of the evil, but in reality it’s the greedy people that want to take advantage on money are the ones pushing themselves to do devilish things. However, I always believe that when it comes to bitcoin, not everyone is capable to make it work. It takes a wise man to successfully invest in it and ends without regretting.
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are no KYC casinos taking risks? on: September 20, 2023, 01:01:54 PM
KYC is usually risky everywhere. Similarly gambling using gambling sites without Kyc is also risky.

I'm sorry, but it seems like you misunderstood the purpose of KYC. Actually, it would not be implemented if it did not help the government combat illegal online activities. It might be risky for some, especially for those planning to launder money using the casino. However, for those who are playing just for fun with no bad intentions, it's a way to protect them. Besides, our regulators are closely monitoring the casinos, and they won't allow them to abuse the gamblers. Therefore, if you are a victim of casino abuse, you can report it to the authorities and file a legal action against them.
683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 20, 2023, 10:19:29 AM
Have you noticed that the names Casimero and Inoue are still frequently discussed? It appears they are considered among the best fighters in their division.

We have many Filipino fans here, and despite Tapales being a champion, we still believe that Casimero is the better fighter, which is why we'd love to see him fight Inoue. Personally, I'm not very confident that Tapales could beat Inoue. However, if it's Casimero who gets the chance to face Inoue, it would truly excite me. I'd even be willing to bet on Casimero winning via KO, even if the odds of that happening are slim.

Not to bring Tapales behind but yes if it's Casimero who have that opportunity to fight Inoue, surely there is more interest not just with
pinoy fans but also those who knew Casimero.

The fighting capabilities of Casimero might have a better chance compared to what Tapales can offer, and same with you I might also be betting for
Casimero and spare some money to add up with the support for him, though not with KO, but just to win the fight.

Even the japanese fans ask the fight to happen since they are also been hype for the possible match up but the camp of Inoue and other forces of evil stop to make this fight to happen. To many fans still discuss about this match but Inoue still not showing some interest and want to climb up or chase more belts, so for that this will make Casimero less on his priority. For now lets watch if Tapales can give a good fight here since if he defeat Inoue maybe we can see a different story here.

That wasn't the exact statement made by Inoue's camp. If I recall correctly, they mentioned that Inoue intends to stay in the super bantamweight division for a while after securing all the belts. This statement opens up opportunities for challengers to face Inoue, and we hope that Casimero can be one of those challengers. Unfortunately, when I checked the rankings, Casimero was only in the top 3. To increase his chances, he needs to win more fights and make a more impressive showing. Who knows, Inoue might consider giving him a chance in the future.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 20, 2023, 09:53:12 AM
Dame  who is at bad team right now wants to go to a 44:38 team that isn't stacked at all, especially after a trade since they have to give up assets. KD

Dame doesn't want to create a super team; he believes that by playing with the Heat, the team will improve, increasing his chances of winning his first championship. This is unlike Durant, who joined a championship team to secure a championship, similar to LeBron when he joined the Miami Heat.

But let's set that discussion aside for now, hehe. I believe we should shift our focus to the recent news.
685  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All business need to risk, so not only crypto! on: September 19, 2023, 09:05:29 PM
Crypto is certainly high risky due to its high market volatility. However, if you know how to identify those risks and be able to manage them wisely, there’s no reason that you will not be successful in the end. The problem with some people is that they start to enter crypto investment or trading believing that it’s a get rich quick thing, so they end up failing and losing everything they have and eventually blame crypto and call it a big scam.
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Stevenson vs De Los Santos - Nov 16 on: September 19, 2023, 01:13:47 PM
Voted for Shakur Stevenson to win via decision here.

I think Shakur would be very careful not to be hit by that one shot that would send him to the canvas as this De Los Santos packs a punch as almost all of his opponents were KOed by him, 14 KO out of 16 wins, that's amazing though that came from less popular opponents but still, he needs to be careful.

Of course, with Shakur's ring IQ, he will have a good time to show his defense agains Delos Santos and we might say that he will look amateurish against Stevenson here. But we will give credit to Delos Santos for accepting this fight as a replacement for Frank Martin.

And to add to that, Shakur calls Frank Martin a bitch, but hopefully they can still fight in the future because there are animosity already and it could grew up in years as the might become the face of 135 lbs.

De Los Santos views this as an opportunity, and why wouldn't he accept it if he believes in himself? We've seen similar scenarios, like Ugas vs. Pacquiao, where Ugas was a replacement and won the fight. There are many possibilities in such situations, and one should never underestimate a hungry fighter eager to reach the top. Shakur needs to be cautious here because, while De Los Santos may not be widely known, his record shows a high KO ratio.
687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 19, 2023, 05:32:51 AM
No team wants him anymore even though he's the top leading assist last season. I wonder why hmmm.  Huh Huh

I don't believe Harden will lose his value in this situation. What's certain for now is that Harden won't be playing for the 76ers anymore. As he struggles, the same fate may befall his team, so there's no clear winner in this situation.
No, it's not certain! James Harden will be forced to play with the Sixers this year in order for him to be eligible to sign with any team in the free agency.
Source:
https://fastphillysports.com/hardens-never-ending-nonsense-career-may-be-over-if-hes-mia-for-sixers-camp/
Harden might be lossing a value if he don't play good this season and if his numbers significantly drop.
So, he's left with no choice here but to play with the Sixers just the way he plays, otherwise he will going to have a hard time signing a good value contract.
That's fair; he cannot simply sit and dictate his terms. It's reassuring that the Sixers have learned from their past mistakes and are taking steps to prevent them from happening again. So, it's safe to assume that the 76ers, with Harden playing in a similar manner, should still be a playoff contender.

I'm sure this situation is just temporary, as the Sixers understand that a player who isn't fully devoted to their role won't be able to perform at their best. It's also safe to assume that while they aim to make it to the playoffs, they may not consider themselves a championship-caliber team.
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 19, 2023, 05:09:26 AM

I agree if they are destined to fight, then they will have their chance to face each other.  It is that Casimero's action is too obvious that he is frustrated to fight Inoue as soon as possible, or it is just some gimmick so that he can gain some attention since Inoue is one of the hottest boxer today.

Both avenues can lead to a faster Casimero vs. Inoue fight. If fans continue to call for the fight as Casimero taunts Inoue, they may play a significant role in pushing for this matchup. Additionally, Casimero is taking the right approach by continuing to fight and improve his ranking. Perhaps Inoue will consider facing Casimero once he becomes the undisputed champion in the super bantamweight division.
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin kwoledge is not complete without bitcoin investment on: September 18, 2023, 09:59:11 PM
Knowledge will always bring power no matter what. Even if you don’t use it to invest at the moment but the fact that you utilize it to influence others, that will never go into waste. And when those people whom you’ve educated and influenced at the same time have start using them through investing, then it’s like those knowledge have been very useful for them.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge vs hodlings on: September 18, 2023, 07:26:36 PM
Investing into bitcoin without a deep understanding on bitcoin in the first place is useless. It’s like you are hodling it for long term, yet you don’t know what’s your bitcoin goal and to where bitcoin is heading. That is why earning knowledge before taking such investments is crucial. Or while you are in the process of investing, you are also learning in everything that you do. At some point, it also works for others. It’s certainly learning by doing.
691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 18, 2023, 03:57:45 PM
For now, Oguni is the one which Casimero needs to fight and win against. After that we will wait for any update for his next opponent
hopefully if ever, it isn't Inoue yet but someone who is also close to a belt challenger.

He might get there someday since Casimero is now ranked by most boxing councils.

Another win against Oguni, especially if that's an impressive one will boost again his ranking, and now close to being a title contender again.

And no need for those fans to be worried since there's no plan for Inoue to move up if he wins against Tapales, at least "for now". Adding to that, if Tapales won instead and upset The Monster, Casimero would now be close to facing Inoue much more. But that was too early to think.

yeah, i guess it is more on inoue winning over tapales here. but casimero should continue what he is doing, take each fight and win. and maybe his path to inoue will be faster. because if there will be controversy regarding his weight again, his actual fight will be pushing thru and delayed again. so he always needs to be prepared for the upcoming fight and get that belt, if there's any.
i know, a lot are looking forward to see the inoue vs casimero here. but casimero should wake up his mind and conquer each and every fight he is in.

I believe Casimero is putting in the effort to stay active and win all his fights. However, this year, he hasn't faced many quality opponents. This is only his second fight of the year, and it might be his last, so he needs to end the year with another significant win. Perhaps next year, he'll have the opportunity to face top-ranked super bantamweight fighters.

As for Inoue vs. Casimero, it's unlikely to happen this year, especially if Inoue beats Tapales. There's a chance Inoue might decide to move on and not honor his commitment to stay in the division for long. This would leave Casimero in a chasing mode.
692  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake phishing on: September 18, 2023, 02:48:00 PM
Stake has already built a good reputation, and even though they were recently hacked, they are still operational now.

What happened to you is not the fault of Stake; there are a lot of hackers out there. You should know how to determine if an email is legitimate or not. Of course, phishing links are very popular, but there's always a way to verify if the email is genuine or just an attempt to hack you. As a gambler with a significant amount of money in your account, it's essential to educate yourself on ways to protect your funds wisely.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Tax Efficient With Your Gambling Habbits? on: September 18, 2023, 02:12:49 PM
In my understanding, we typically pay taxes on our income. I also understand that sometimes we win in gambling, but does this automatically count as income? Perhaps we can consider the net income, taking into account both winnings and losses. Most gamblers probably end up losing more than they win since many of us don't consistently account for our losses.

I might be fortunate because in our country, taxes on gambling winnings aren't required. The government won't pursue you if you win in gambling, but if you voluntarily choose to file for income tax on such earnings, they will accept it.
694  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Marry a Coin/Project - Practically Example on: September 14, 2023, 01:52:32 PM
I've learned my lesson in the past. Back in 2017, during the first bull run I experienced, I was overly confident that it would reach my target price, but it didn't happen. It turned out to be a scam. I could have made a good amount of money if I had sold, but I consider it part of the learning experience. What matters is that I was profitable overall during that time.

Investing is indeed a gamble, and since we cannot predict the future, it can lead to either failure or success. What's important is that we can accept what happens and continue learning from our mistakes. I once read an article about an early investor in Bitcoin who was delighted to have sold his Bitcoins at $10 each. If he hadn't bought back in, he might be regretting it now, given the current high price.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream coins or altcoins? on: September 14, 2023, 11:57:33 AM
Perhaps I've always been a lone ranger, which sometimes makes me feel lonely. I'd like to connect with cryptocurrency investors from around the world and share our insights and experiences.

There are only two classifications: either Bitcoin or altcoins, as any coin created after Bitcoin is considered an alternative coin. So, I think your question goes like that. Well, I would choose both. Don't limit your investment to just one, as this market is not for Bitcoin only. The reason why this market has grown is because of plenty of altcoins that were created. While most of them turn out to be abandoned projects or scams, there are altcoins that still exist and are already successful. So, it's just a matter of studying a certain project to see its potential in the future. Also, if you want to minimize the risk in investing, you need to diversify your funds, which means you should invest in altcoins alongside Bitcoin.
696  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had AI day trade bitcoin to make profits on: September 14, 2023, 11:31:56 AM
Nothing is easy in trading. If you come across an advertisement claiming AI trading brings consistent profits, you should be skeptical because if it were that successful, it would already be very popular, and many people would be using it. However, I haven't seen many success stories from people using AI trading. If there are some, they might be affiliated with the companies selling these systems or trying to promote their subscriptions.

It's wise to learn how to trade yourself and to keep learning until you become consistent. That way, you are being realistic and not relying on others to achieve your success.
697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is KYC mandatory in CEX? on: September 13, 2023, 01:59:03 PM
I think KYC helps exchanges to control and track their users to avoid cases of scam or money laundering...The exchange collapse issue has nothing to do with KYC. The collapse of exchanges has legal implications and the government must be held responsible. But another thing is that we don't want to be controlled by the government, we want to be free, but when we are scammed, we ask the government to solve it. This is one of the loopholes in the crypot market and scammers are fully exploiting it.

The only way users can scam an exchange is if they can hack it, aside from that I don't see any possibility. KYC is just a simple verification process where an exchange would like to know their users and it's mandatory to all legal exchange as they are regulated by a certain agency of the government, so there's no need to question that because exchanges nowadays are like banks.

If we are expecting full anonymity, then there's always this decentralized exchange, but the problem is they don't have the volume like CEX, and that only tells us that more people trust centralized exchange over decentralized exchange which we can conclude that most of them do comply with the KYC.
698  Economy / Gambling / Re: vbetFTN.com | Leading Online Gambling Operator | 🎰 on: September 13, 2023, 12:53:02 PM
That's what casinos are for right? What they do need right now is to pass some regulations,
It has been answered before.

At vbetFTN, we prioritize compliance with gambling licenses and regulations, which may impose restrictions on accessing our website from certain countries.

maintain that consistency, be transparent with the updates and chages, and have more exposure to the public. If they stick with the fundamentals, they don't need that much effort of marketing no more, the people itselff who are players will promote the gambling on vbet will share their best experiences.
Marketing is a fundamental aspect of a casino. Even if a casino is highly popular, marketing remains essential. I know you're aware of many popular casinos that continue to be consistent with their marketing strategies, even when they already have positive feedback from the community. Therefore, more promotions and marketing efforts from VBET will help make the casino even more popular.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 13, 2023, 12:11:29 PM
Oh that's good to hear that he has his own gym now, I mean that's how you give back to your community. Of course he can used it personally to train if he has incoming fights. But it will also give other younga and upcoming boxers to train there as it could have a good facility. Until those gym that Manny used when he was still in the beginning of his career. Although it could have help Filipino boxers to get used to obscured boxing arena's and fight, but still good if there will be some gyms that they can start with par with many gyms in the world. No odds yet though, so we will have to wait for a bit and see what options we had that will likely give us a good return or profits betting on John Riel Casimero here.

Yeah, the gym is very helpful for those youngsters who want to be boxers as they have now a facility where they can practice for free and if they are serious enough and become a prodigy then that could alleviate them from poverty as most of the kids that are training in Casimero's gym came from poor families. Good thing that Quadro Alas provided some of the kids that have potential the equipment like running shoes and shorts for training.

This is the kind of sport that we should also focus on, a sport in which we can dominate the world, similar to what Manny Pacquiao has achieved. I believe we have the talent, but we lack the necessary facilities. So, these popular boxers who are already earning a decent income are a blessing, especially if they are helping potential boxers in the future. Eventually, we will have a Filipino champion again, and I hope Casimero will be able to return to the top before announcing his retirement.
700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: September 12, 2023, 01:05:43 PM
Not sure why CStand is not in the lineup as for me he's really good protector /defender inside, plus his connection with Junemar, Mo' and TR7 really adds up for the team, same faces with JBL administering them, it's something that we as fans will enjoy the Asian Games. Like you, I'm also in that same thinking that this squad would be enough to bring pride for our country.

Maybe CStand is on vacation in Germany that's why he is not included in the pool but I think that the recently released line-up will change a bit because i have read an article that they will invite Justine Baltazar, an agile big man who could also help Fajardo on the boards since AJ Edu is not available. I prefer to have Balatazar in the squad rather that Mo Tautua, who is for me not fit in an international kind of play.

Is this the player that Tim Cone said was not interested in playing for the country? Because if this is the one, I think he should be given a chance. Tim Cone made bad remarks about him, and it's only fair to include him as he is a great player. He could be very useful for the team since he is still young and in his prime. I trust Tim Cone's judgment in choosing the roster that will represent the country, so I won't question who the players he will add are; I'll just support them.

Yeah, that was him, we can read some article regarding that.

Tim Cone apologizes to Justine Baltazar for ‘hasty remarks’ on Gilas Pilipinas availability

Therefore I think there has been no more issue between them, afterall Tim Cone is the coach and Baltazar is the player, so it's still up to the coach if he will pick Baltazar to be part of the roster. Personally, I'm more excited to see the veterans, particularly Romeo, as I'm sure the team will be entertaining to watch.
