681  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Storminvest Scam on: February 24, 2024, 06:26:09 PM
Sorry for your loss, how could you trust a platform like that who would ask you for a loan in order to have more profits? You have been scammed by them and that's only because of your own unawareness regarding such scams. I suggest you to be careful from such scams in future and never trust anyone who claim to double your investment or get huge profits for you.

You've posted this thread in a wrong board, I suggest you to move it to Scam Accusation board as that board is more suitable for this thread. However, be careful from that fraud company and never ever share your personal KYC information with anyone. I also recommend you to block your current credit card and get a new one to be safe from them in future.
682  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Paying using bitcoin on: February 24, 2024, 05:19:38 PM
Since you said that you have purchased Bitcoin using Coinbase so why not to directly transfer Bitcoin from Coinbase wallet to any online shop without any worries but since you're talking about online shops that accept Bitcoin payments then surely you'll have to use your smartphone to transfer Bitcoin from your Coinbase wallet to the wallet of the shop from whom you're purchasing the goods.

You can use your laptop for that purpose too but I guess smartphone is going to be much convenient. Don't worry as long as you're purchasing legal goods then no one is going to be tracking you, but if you're thinking about purchasing arms or something which isn't legal then I guess no one will give you an answer on this forum.
683  Other / Meta / Re: Lock the 1xBit thread. on: February 24, 2024, 04:58:46 PM
I fully support the idea of NotATether about locking 1xBit announcement thread. I guess if a casino is no more part of this forum then why their thread is still unlocked? Their official representative isn't taking any interest in that thread or in this forum then why should we continue making posts on that thread?

All of the posts on that thread are basically repetitions and nothing else, everyone just repeats one way or other way about their scam, it's more like a scam discussion thread rather than a announcement thread now. So, I guess NotATether has a valid point regarding locking of that thread.
684  Economy / Reputation / Re: Standing Strong Against Unjust Attacks: A Call for Community Support on: February 24, 2024, 04:39:05 PM
I have no idea whether Blackjack.fun is legit or not and have no opinion as of yet, but I have to say that just because they paid you for a task does not mean they're completely honest.  I've seen plenty of very shady exchanges and services pay their signature campaign participants over the years, so you really have to look at the entire track record of whatever casino/service/etc. you're trying to judge.
I agree with you, I believe what you have said is very true. They have paid me that's true but I'm not a player of their platform and I guess a player should know better that how they treat them. But, whatever I said in my comment was purely unbiased cause I personally got paid by them for the task, however I have noticed a very strange thing about their support team.

Their support team seems to be very slow in replying and that's not a good sign I guess. If someone has to do business for long term then they should try to have an active support team. Other than late replies, I haven't found anything wrong about them. I guess they have created this thread to get support from the community so they might be able to do their activities on this forum once again.

That's why I posted my remarks about them so it might be helpful for them to regrow on this forum. They haven't scammed anyone and that's a good sign I guess. So, lets see how they will perform here after a come back. I believe a good platform should always be ready to answer criticism. Running away from it is the not way to go. Only because of JackpotRacer, they have gotten backward steps which isn't good at all.
685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Monastery My Opinion on: February 24, 2024, 04:16:01 PM
Bitcoin Monastery sounds strange to me and I would never support it because it's not a benefit of someone beliefs but it's most likely a way to get attention of those who have true beliefs of a religion. It's like trying to take advantage of the religious people by using the name of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin in itself is a crypto-currency and it has nothing to do with someone belief system. A priest can use Bitcoin similarly as an atheist or a communist. Bitcoin is free from all such things so it makes no sense to me to have a Bitcoin Monastery.
686  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Crypto scamming gambling sites on: February 24, 2024, 03:40:44 PM
Im wondering, can scams like this just keep on going? who could shut scams like this down?
Unfortunately, no one can stop or shut down such shady sites because they know that no governmental authority will waste their time on searching for gambling sites and their locations so that's why they scam others without any worries.

Even on this forum we always alert members about such sites, a similar site 1xBit has been scamming its users for many years but no one is yet able to do anything against them. They have been running their scam empire for many years freely without any worries and yet no one can even take legal action against them.
687  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is there any recovery tool similar to iancoleman for electrum seed version? on: February 24, 2024, 03:36:05 PM
Electrum uses a different standard than bip39 to generate wallets. I would like to know if there is a tool for recovering the private keys from seeds generated by Electrum similar to what iancoleman does.
You can easily save your keys via Electrum without even having to rely on a tool like that. All you need is your seed phrase. Make sure you have your seed phrase try to import your seed phrase after selecting standard wallet.

Once your seed is imported then you should click on wallet, and then scroll down to private keys, and after that click on export. Electrum will take some time and you are ready to export your keys. You can export your keys as .CSV file or .Json file. Once you selected the file type then simply click on export button, instantly your keys will be exported.
688  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is sharing insights the key to better trading? on: February 24, 2024, 03:24:21 PM
A trader should first study the market as a trainee to understand ups and downs of the market, volatility of the market, pumps and dumps of the market, and he/she should gather as much information as possible by research about the coin/stock/currency he/she is going to trade.

Once someone's mind if fully alert and that trader understands the market fully then he/she should begin real time trading. Many people suggest demo trading at first but I'm highly against it, in demo trading we don't actually open positions with our own money and thus we are playing with virtual money only.

When we open positions with our own money then we get our emotions attached with those positions, and a demo trader will end up losing a lot when he opens positions with real money. After a fixed timeframe one learns a lot about a trading strategy if he/she gives proper time to trading. Once someone masters a strategy then that trader gets better and better overtime.

I simply suggest you to learn basic technical indicators at first and study charts at different timeframes. Try to observe the movements of the market. You should mainly focus on a single asset only, if you're into Bitcoin trading then focus on Bitcoin to USDT and nothing else. Read the charts while indicators are applied, you'll understand a lot about the asset and then you'll surely begin to execute some good trades.
689  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What can I do to be successful in trading with my small capital on: February 23, 2024, 11:56:56 PM
You can be a very good trader even with small capital, all you need to do is to trade carefully. Try to understand the market first and observe its volatility for few days before placing any trades. You should also try to master some technical indicators and start trading with 100% patience.

Don't be a greedy person when you see huge gains in start because those gains will turn into losses if market gets a crash or a huge dip. So, that's why I suggest you to slowly build up your portfolio and at the same time gain real world experience of trading.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin help on: February 23, 2024, 07:39:18 PM
I guess that's due to syncing, try to sync your wallet latest of blockchain by letting it online. Once it gets fully synced you might see your balance once again. Once the coins appear then you can easily transfer those coins to another new wallet.

I suggest you to create that new wallet with the help of Electrum which's a very good, open-source software wallet. Be careful to backup your keys and seed phrases of the new wallet before transferring your coins to it.

Try to wait sometime to see your wallet syncing if it still doesn't show the coins in the wallets then there might be another issue.
691  Other / Archival / Re: Sirius has just released his email correspondence with Satoshi from 2009-2011 on: February 23, 2024, 07:29:24 PM
I have gone through some of those e-mails and I thought what's happening. Yesterday we saw Satoshi and Adam Back's e-mails today we are seeing Sirus and Satohi's e-mails. Is that that Satoshi is going to reappear in the picture once again or something else is going on?

I was shocked when I saw Satoshi mail where he was saying that he doesn't write well, but when you read his conversations you can see that he used to write very well. Those e-mails alone can say that when you read them, looks like Satoshi someone finds himself not a good writer but actually his writings show a whole different picture to me.
692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 21 million of standard gold bars in the world. on: February 23, 2024, 05:33:25 PM
Not to be rude but I think your personal assumption isn't correct. It's strange to see someone comparing gold bars with Bitcoin total supply and that's somehow awkward if you ask me. I suggest you to do deeper research before making such assumptions.

Bitcoin supply is always limited to 21 Million and Gold bars will increase overtime when miner continue to mine more gold. We still aren't aware about many Gold mines which exist on this Earth so it would be foolish to assume that there will always be such amount even in future.
693  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitRoul.com , Roulette without zero ,RTP 100 , earn 100 USD with fun money on: February 23, 2024, 05:27:27 PM
Are you representative of BitRoul or you're try to promote them via this thread? If you're official representative of BitRoul then I suggest you to buy a Cooper membership and create a separate thread of BitRoul to present them in a better way.

If you're trying to promote them as affiliate then I suggest you to have contact with their team and suggest them to create their official announcement thread on this forum. That way they can get some attention on this forum and they can later advertise on this forum.
694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Surfaced: Email conversation between Satoshi and Adam Back on: February 23, 2024, 04:25:46 PM
Did these email conversations give a clue to you about who Satoshi can be?
No, they didn't gave any clue to me because I don't really want to know who Satoshi is or was, I'm happy to have Bitcoin and that's enough for me. I was talking about those people who are interested to find out the guy who has created Bitcoin and I believe you know who those guys are.

Those conversations gave them a clue that Satoshi might be a known person to Adam Back and that's why from now on they might try their best to gain as much information about Satoshi from that cypherpunk as they possibly could. I'm sure they will try to investigate about him in a passive way not an active way, they might use various social engineering tactics to gather information about Satoshi from Adam back.
695  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🟪 ChopChop.gg - A lightning-fast degen's dream! Instant Payout, fast gameplay! on: February 23, 2024, 04:20:31 PM
Welcome to this amazing forum, I thought it might be your announcement thread but after reading it fully I noticed that it's more like an offer rather than a announcement thread. I suggest you to buy a Cooper membership and then create your announcement thread and include some good graphics in that thread so others might find it useful.

Other than that I also suggest you to do some marketing on this forum by launching your signature campaign. A signature campaign will help you to gain good exposure on this forum and that's going to be helpful for your business. Finally, I suggest you to get some good reviews for your platform by launching a review campaign.

Those steps are important for you to get good exposure on this forum and by that you might get some good players for your platform who may test your game and be regular users of it.
696  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anatsa Android malware downloaded 150,000 times via Google Play on: February 23, 2024, 04:11:48 PM
Not just algorithms for automatic approving, malware detection should be given as better, manually checking the codes should be strict, since it's required when you as a developer trying to list your app in PS for first version upload and in every update. Although they are more strict now than before but still got bypassed by malicious actors/users.
It's first time I'm hearing that, is it strange that all programmers need to share their code to Google in order to get their application listed on their store? Are you sure about what you said? I mean highly reputed vendors may hesitate to share their code to Google or anyone else because sharing of that code may allow others to easily make similar applications with less effort.

Since you said that then I guess in that case malware developers might share fake code first which's free from malware and when they compile the application then they may include the malware in it. Google might think that the applications source code was free from malware and the actual compiled APK might also be free from all such malware.

I also don't know of any casino that lets you bet on Fightning Games... It's even a good suggestion for them to implement something, since there are always plenty of tournaments and the prize pool is very generous
I don't know about such tournament type of fighting games but I have placed bets on some Mortal Kombat  games on one casino a few months ago. Those weren't any tournament type of matches but they were simple matches against players, however, the result of most bets were bad and that's why I decided to give up on that.
698  Economy / Services / Re: [Open] OddJobsforBitcoin Signature Space for Rent on: February 23, 2024, 03:58:25 PM
Although, many reputed members and even campaign managers have posted on your thread and give you some direction. I would also like to add something from my side, I don't know if you follow the suggestions or not, it's up to you, but I highly recommend you to make some good posts and earn at least 100 merits to reach full member rank.

Once you reach full member rank and you have some good posts on your profile then and only then you should offer your signature space for rent, otherwise I don't think you'll get any good offers. You should also try to be very active on this forum and make posts regularly so that campaign managers might consider you as a good participant.

Just keep in mind, the more time you devote to this forum, and more good quality posts you make, your chance to get accepted in a campaign gets higher. So until then, I recommend you to continue making posts on daily basis and try to earn some merits by sharing valuable information. Best of luck, hope you may get some good offers in future if you rank up to at least full member rank.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CAPCOM CUP X - The Home of Street Fighter Esports [THREAD] on: February 23, 2024, 03:48:29 PM
No personally I haven't been following that esports tournament but I really like such tournaments because they're quite entertaining. I don't know that if any online betting sites allow betting on such tournaments but if they does then I'll surely try to place some bets in order to see what results I get. Thanks for sharing that information, I hope to check out those matches.
700  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anatsa Android malware downloaded 150,000 times via Google Play on: February 23, 2024, 02:48:11 PM
Majority of Android users don't know this, their belief is If it is in play store or if it recommended by Google it is safe but we know this is definitely far from it.
That's the main reason why those so called malware developers are targeting them. Most of those Android users blindly trust of Google Play Store's protection and in their minds they think that which ever application is available on Play Store is a trusted one and we can use it without any worries about viruses and malware, but they aren't aware about the reality.

As long as an application is closed source, no one should trust it even if it comes from a trusted vendor. Closed source application can contain malicious code without any doubt and those who don't know that suffer from the malware when they install it in their smart phones or personal computers. I think those people need some kind of awareness so that they could be safe from such malware in future.
