681  Economy / Economics / Re: What currency shall human use when colonizing Mars on: April 24, 2019, 09:18:50 PM
We are still waiting for Mars to be colonized so it's way to early to talk about what currency human should use there. Surely for a very long time Mars will be restricted only for a very few people and those are surely not going to need money since they don't even know how life is going to be there. And even if we are talking about people paying to visit Mars, the payment will be made on Earth and they will get everything they need on Mars but as I said we are thinking into the future now.
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: April 24, 2019, 09:13:48 PM
I am thinking this will be a boring game between two clubs who play tough defensive football. I am betting under 2.5 goals and avoiding La Liga on TV today. Manchester derby should be much more interesting game to watch.

It seems I couldn't have made a lousier prediction. Damn, it is the curse of writing it down here. I have to stop posting my picks or I will end up without my betting balance  Grin I don't remember if any Atletcio game in the league ever had 5 goals in it since Simeone took it over.

That's exactly the reason why I hate to play under in both football and basketball matches. I like to watch games for show and goals, not to see two teams passing the ball around for 90 minutes. Atletico and Valencia have probably two of the best defensive in La Liga and seeing 5 goals in this match was definitely a big surprise for every better so it wasn't your fault for losing this pick.
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The middle ground for all skeptics and enthusiasts on: April 24, 2019, 09:05:20 PM
In my opinion:

Bitcoin -> Primarily -> Currency
           -> Secondarily - > Investment asset

I'm not sure if that's going to work, especially with this high volatility that bitcoin is showing. Some currencies like USG or GBP are also used as an investment asset by some people but if you check it their prices never fluctuate so much during a year as bitcoin price does. And I don't know if there is anything we can do to resolve this issue because most people involved in cryptocurrencies right now are aiming for profits not mass adoption.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 24, 2019, 08:59:30 PM
I watched the Nuggets-Spurs game and I watched the OKC-Blazers game and I realized something very important. First time Russell Westbrook made a triple double season ever he was playing against Nuggets, he hit a buzzer beater as well and got another triple double and hold the "most triple double in a season" record all by himself. Now looking back on that 3 years ago (or 2 I think?)

Nuggets were about the same team, there have been some additions and removals but they were about the same in key aspects, that team is now second seed and just beat spurs to lead the series in 3-2 and improved so much, looking at OKC however they are on the same level they were after Durant left, they have not moved a single bit further since Durant left and that gotta mean they are not ready to challenge anyone anytime soon. They have to find a way to improve or they are not going to have westbrook for long as well, he is aging rapidly and explosive players age very badly.
People have been talked about this before and again it seems like this year Westbrook could have been the issue even though many of you might think he was the best player of OKC. It seemed like Westbrook was there just for the show and he was competing with Lillard to see who's the best instead of helping his team more towards winning more games. I've watched only the last match between those two and again Westbrook missed the last shot of the match, that could have been decisive just because he tried to show up his is the best but Lillard proved him again he's better by hitting the game winner shot.
685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every Cryptocurrency Can Be Hacked in Just a Few Seconds on: April 24, 2019, 08:48:56 PM
As far as I can see this this as just an assumption but seems like no one has ever done this in the past. Yes, it might be possible, especially with the way technology is evolving today but for now it's just a speculation and we'll have to wait until that happens so that we can truly say if this is a problem or not for us. People can say anything about everything but very few are actually proving what they are saying.
686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much wold take a bitcoin transaction with 1sat/byte to get confirmed? on: April 24, 2019, 08:42:23 PM
There is no guarantee period of time for your transaction to get confirmed even if on some website you will see estimations showing a certain period. Normally your transaction should get confirmed in 5-10 hours, but in the same time it could get confirmed in 30 minutes or 24 hours. The best answer for your question is that the maximum time you would have to wait should be no longer than 24-48 hours(in worst case) but normally as I said it should be done in a few hours.
687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: April 24, 2019, 08:37:40 PM
One week to come
Can't wait for that i suppose crazy and quality football

All four teams are quite attacking so I’m sure there will be no 0-0 games in the semi finals. Maybe BTTS bets are a good idea Wink

I am close o my Ajax-Barca final 4-3 Ajax
But some penalties drama nicely welcome

I think the only way Ajax can win Champions League against Barcelona is if they get to penalties because there is just a matter of luck and will win the one that is stronger mentally. Yes, Ajax has shown some very impressive football against Real and Juventus but against Barcelona things will be completely different since Barcelona is a complete team that can score a lot of goals while also being a pretty good defensive team.
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 24, 2019, 08:33:39 PM
Today we have Milan-Lazio  Italian Cup semifinal
First game was 0-0
Gattuso wants to play 4-3-3 very unusual for Milan .Lets see will it help

I would go full Lazio on this game, going by the recent form of both teams.
AC Milan have been struggling a lot in front of goal for some weeks now, I think it will be a 2 - 1 victory for Lazio.
Nice prediction you made here, buddy. It's 1-0 for Lazio and it's minute 85 so I don't think if Milan could do anything in the remaining time since their performance was very poor the entire match, given the fact that their goalkeeper seems to be the best player from Milan in this match. Even if he saved Milan from goal a lot of times he couldn't do anything more than this especially because Lazio had 9 shots on the target. I am very disappointed about Milan performance in last matches, after they've shown in a very good form at the beginning of 2019.
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: April 24, 2019, 08:25:58 PM
Blazers couldn't cover the spread and it was a lot closer game then what I expected, nonetheless I'd never trade any winning bet for what Damian Lillard did last night. That shot will go down in basketball history as one of the most disrespectful, cold-blooded game winners ever. 👉⌚️
I don't think we can call that a disrespectful shot as long as he made it and anyway the score was time so it wasn't like they would lose the game is that shot would have been missed. Lillard was full of confidence for the entire game and his mindset was focused on making that shot as it would be the shot for winning the final. Nothing you can do about it, the mistake was at OKC that they didn't scored on the possession they had before that shot since the pressure on Lillard would have been a lot higher which could have lead to a miss.
690  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinsGainer.com - provably fair multiplayer game of chance on: April 24, 2019, 07:06:34 PM
^^ I think the low limit is based on their bankroll and the amount to be won will increase after each round played. Because 0.0374btc is quite low to even risk 0.002btc to play on a crash site.
I hope this is the case. Maybe coingainer administrator can answer this to the players.

The low max allowed profit per bet is obviously related to their bankroll. If they use the common formula for the max profit per bet which is 1% of the bankroll, it means that their bankroll is 3.74BTC
Not too low for a brand new site imho, it is even better than if they allow higher profit per bet while their bankroll is not big. Normally the bankroll will increase as the time goes by or maybe they will offer investment in the near future to build up bankroll.
Their bankroll is actually around 5BTC and you can see that if you click on statistics. Maximum profit per bet is 0.75% from bankroll for every player, and 1% in total for all players participating in that round. So if you calculate 0.75% from 5BTC is around 0.0374BTC.
691  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 4 Things Traders Must Do To Be Successful on: April 24, 2019, 07:00:24 PM
The ability of a trader will be tested when he decides to make important decisions, there are many things that must be considered for a trader. Mathematically, a Trader must always pay attention to the market situation, this is because the condition of the crypto market often makes a surprise so that a Trader is required to make decisions quickly. This cannot be avoided because without the ability to read a good market situation, a trader will never succeed in making the right decisions and benefiting him.
In order to notice the best occasions for buying and selling a trader must be very focused on what he is doing, so focus is one of the most required skills for a trader. Of course this skill could be trained overtime but essentially if you are a sloppy person it will be hard for you to become a good trader, at least the beginning will seem extremely hard.
692  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for when Getting Stuck on: April 24, 2019, 06:55:42 PM
Yesterday I placed a trade and was aiming for just a 1% profit on the trade. I left it hanging and the trade it did not clear... Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

It's still just sitting there and it is way below my target price.  DO you just sell that thing and start over?

DO you hold on and just... wait???
Considering the fact that the profit for a single transaction was only 1% I think it would be better to sell that and move on to other transactions so that you recover whatever you lost there. Trading is a place where you have to take quick decisions so waiting for a longer time than you firstly expected will only lead to a bigger loss most of the times.
693  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading is unhealthy? on: April 24, 2019, 06:50:06 PM
Your story confirms the affirmation that trading is not good for everyone and only a few kind of people can trade daily without having any problems. First of all trading requires you to have a good control of yourself and not get angry when something goes wrong. Another important skill is focus, because there are a lot of informations a trade should be aware of.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting multiple cryptocurrencies in ICO on: April 24, 2019, 05:05:04 PM
An ICO that accepts multiple cryptocurrencies as a payment method to buy their tokens will surely get more attention from people because everyone has different currencies available in their wallets. I have also noticed that some ICOs started accepting fiat payments, using a debit card. Still, this doesn't mean the project will be successful only because they have more attention from people and more sales because that's not what determines their rate of success.
695  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why is it hard to say sorry on: April 24, 2019, 04:54:12 PM
It's hard to say sorry, because I don't want to get in that habit, so that I say it when I don't mean it.

I had a friend who who said sorry all the time. Finally one of the other guys said, You're not sorry, you're retarded.

Only say sorry when you mean it, but also when it is wise to say it.

Cool
You're right. Many people say sorry only because they want to make other people feel better but lying is not the solution here because it will only resolve things for the moment. I also have friends that say sorry for everything they do wrong, or at least that's what they think and the only reason I can find for them doing this is the fact that they have a low self esteem and they belive everyone else is superior to them.
696  Other / Off-topic / Re: I always feel tired on: April 24, 2019, 04:48:18 PM
Me too! I don’t know why i feel this way 24/7. Recently started to take some vitamins and i’m hoping they might help me to feel more dynamic and powerful. Or i’m just a lazy person, lol.
Vitamins are not going to help you become more productive because they are just a stimulant to what you really need to do. A healthy diet and at least 8 hours of sleep along with a positive mindset everyday will help you boost your productivity and become more active. One more important thing is to have goals so that you feel motivated to do some work everyday towards them.
697  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate a person to work? on: April 24, 2019, 04:44:52 PM
Honestly i can’t even motivate myself to do something these days so i’m not sure if i can help someone to do what they need. But it’s always nice to watch inspiring people, they keep doing their best every single day and running around with a happy face. I wish i could be like them. I guess i still need to work on myself to feel motivated, after that i might also inspire others.
When you watch those successful people they should be the reason for you to be inspired and motivated because you say that you would like to be like them. You got to create some goals and work twords them so that you wake up motivated every day to achieve something. If you wake up and do the same thing everyday then don't expect motivation to suddenly appear in your life.
698  Other / Off-topic / Re: World War III on: April 24, 2019, 04:41:59 PM
A world War 3 would lead to the end of our humanity and that's the reason why I don't think it will ever begin. It's is enough for Russia and USA to each launch a nuclear bomb and the war would be over in less than a few days. So we all know there is absolutely no point in starting this war since everything will be destroyed and none of them will win at the end.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - A Game of Luck or Strategy on: April 24, 2019, 03:01:59 PM
I'm not a big-time gambler and I only place a bet from time to time, gambling is a combination of this two luck and strategy if the other fails the other could work on for you to win, but a real winning strategy is for you to control your addiction, you will lose a lot if you get addicted, and cannot control your urge to gambling, it can lead to many bad things.
That's one of the best strategies a gambler could learn, to control their urge to gamble since falling into addiction will surely get anyone to lose automatically a lot of money. Its way better to play only rarely, even if you lose all the time because playing daily will not bring you enough winnings to compensate for your loses
700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing casino games online a good idea? on: April 24, 2019, 02:56:51 PM
It's been weeks now since i play gambling games or we may say casino games, sometime i played it just for fun but when i won, my greediness comes and trying to recover my lose bitcoins and want to earn more but ending up losing all my money. For me gambling is good just to have fun and beat boredness but if you want to make money by playing casino i think it's not a good idea because you never know how many luck you have it's either you lose all your money or double it. but most of the time i lose all my money for you guys what do you think of playing casino games is it good or not?
Both online or real life casino is the same because it’s depending on our treatmto this area of possible profiteering or losing.
Online casinos are quite different because you can play them from you mobile or pc and it doesnt matter when you are. But i personally thing real life casinos are more enjoyable because you can feel the buttons of that slot machine and its like charging your body with energy. Also the sound when you get a big win is just great and you would listen to that all day if you can.
