681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Makes Bitcoin Valuable? on: July 07, 2019, 10:12:20 AM
The Bitcoin Standard is the first book I've ever read to simply explain the properties that make money valuable.

If there were such a thing as a 'Bitcoin University', Satoshi's white paper would be covered on day one, and this book would be covered on day two.

Get up to speed on your Bitcoin education.

https://youtu.be/T4ltMvjGO5Y

You can find answers of your question in its features!
Bitcoin is limited and will be only 21 million. So if you compare any FIAT money with it. I think you can understand. Supply-Demand!
Bitcoin is decentralized. So no one increase or decrease total supply. And no one control it!
Bitcoin is transparent. (This is the feature of blockchain actually but valid for BTC.) You can track all transaction easily with blocks.

And BTC has a great community support. All world be aware it potential now.
Yes it is valuable because of us ,
Because we put so much demand for this crypto because we trust it so much and we believe in it.
Because it gives us freedom and anonymity and the supply is limited so the demand would continue to grow.
682  Economy / Speculation / Re: 3 Reasons Why Bitcoin Could Explode over 2019 on: July 04, 2019, 01:48:06 PM
Yeah i read your post.. and also checked the link that you provide.. i dnt think that these some reasons could explode the Bitcoin.. now the bitcoin has become the weekness of people..
Actually it already explode and it has already been back to 5 digit mark and those reason are really good.
If you would look at it closely Bitcoin halving could really be a good reason for a huge price increase .
People would take the opportunity to get some free crypto because of this halving and for that reason the demand for Bitcoin would surely increase .
And there are also some big highlights like some well known company accepting crypto and some sorts of stuff.
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people bought Bitcoin because of you? on: July 04, 2019, 12:40:35 PM
AFAIK it was only 2 of them but I told plenty of people to buy some back in 2016 .
But only 1 of my friend listen and tried it because he saw that I was earning a good amount through investing in a HYIP back then ,
And my brother got into Crypto because of me so there is only 2 people who got into crypto because of me.
684  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggestion for trading platform on: July 02, 2019, 10:26:58 AM
Your losses have more to do with the unpredictable price and your trading methods and less to do with the trading platform used so unless you're looking for a specific feature that you might think will help you... I don't think changing the platform will do much to you.
Yes I don't really think that switching platform would make any difference ,
The thing that you need to do is train yourself and learn from your mistakes and  try to win back again.
Don't just go into trading just because you saw some people who earns from it ,
It takes some time to study and learn some trading skills so you should also invest your time in it.
Try to use some trading simulator first before you loss all of your remaining crypto.
685  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to trade WITHOUT exchange? on: July 02, 2019, 09:33:54 AM
You can trade without exchange but I don't know if someone already did this through Linux command.

If you want to trade without exchanges you can start to trade in this section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0

Or trade in your local area to avoid fees.
Yes most of the high amount transaction is being done offline AFAIK .
I have few friends who are holding some huge amount of crypto and every time that they want to dump or buy more than 10 BTC they would do the transaction offline to avoid the fee from trading sites.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't compromise your safety on forked coins. on: July 01, 2019, 12:56:43 PM
Hey everyone, let's just quickly review the main forked coins and their price approximately

Bitcoins gold   28$
Bitcoins diamond 1$
Bitcoins cash 400$

Now if you want to sacrifice your security of your wallet over these coins , let's be honest doing it for Bitcoins cash does make sense , but just don't go around and do it until and unless you do hold a good amount of Bitcoins.

* Never give your private key to anyone *
NEVER
Even if the site is trusted and all and you can change but don't give anyone even 1% chance because trust me once scammed no one will return your money .

It's better to be safe then sorry.
If they truly want to try it then use disposable wallet to fork your crypto.
But never use your main wallet to fork your crypto.

Doing it even if they have a small or big amount is risky like you said,So doing it with a wallet that hold a good amount of Bitcoin is much more dangerous.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ideas - dead cryptos on: July 01, 2019, 12:04:59 PM
What dead crypto currencies do you know?

What are the possibilities for crypto currencies that almost can't be exchanged any more?

Do you have any ideas how to make money on big amounts of abandoned cryptos?
I don't think that there would be a way to make money from a dead alt-coin unless you would try to pump it and make some people to make noise and spread FOMO to hype the price.
But rather than that it would be good as gone there would be nothing else to do with it .
688  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: June 30, 2019, 09:25:24 AM
But these is one of the things that drive people to make a chance to win some profit. Either you join which coin does not matter, the point here is people want to win. If they think they can't win then they wont bother to test the site. But big players winning here, it will drive little player to start betting and by this little amount hopefully will grow into a big whale. So it is really important to give such emotions play Grin
Very true. It is a smart way of promoting your website and attracting more and more gamblers over time. The recent big Plinko and Keno wins made me play Plinko and Keno a lot more though I lost a good bit of money.

The point is that I shifted my attention towards these games. However, the recent yolo wins were pretty crazy and I do not recommend going all in like that unless you are seriously prepared to lose all your money.
Those are right when ever we see a good win we tend to try our luck on the same game .
I also tried it before I watch some tips and tricks on some gambling sites and most of the time I would win some small profit and I am good with it.
But those insane bets like 5,6 and 10BTC in just single game is insane I don't really want to try it and I am already done with those all in bets.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I went $150.000, into NEO (screen) on: June 29, 2019, 04:04:47 AM
First a bit of history about myself.
__________________________________________________________________
1. 25 year old bitcoin believer as of now.
2. Put my whole bank back in 2017 June Into bitcoin (around 11.000 euro).
3. Self taught Investor/trader in crypto currency
4. Considered investing/trading more as a hobby then money making, as i enjoyed doing it.
5. Found out own trading strategies that are unknown to most people that delivered me up to 5.000-10.000$ a month.
6. Had people working for me in the crypto currency field.
7. Average weekly work time around 60-70 hours.
__________________________________________________________________

So why did i put 150.000 usd into NEO?
Buy in zone $10-15.

The first and number 1 reason is marketing. It's all about marketing. If the the product is excellent and has bad marketing it will always lose from a poor product that has excellent marketing.

1. Neo has perfect marketcap and position in the ranking, which will make it prone to fast growth. I guess most of you will find many reasons why. They're most likely all correct.
2. Excellent marketing in China, you could've read about it in the newspaper a lot during alt cycle as it is Chinas #1 coin.
3. High probability in 2020/2021 for Chinese Government adoption.
4. Excellent marketing during high times, reach zone U.S.A/Europe.
5. Alot of big youtube names that are bag holders.
6. Most well known name that fit the criteria marketcap and ranking.
7. China high percentage of bitcoin miners, which will make Neo prone for price rise ups.
8. Ones second Fomo hits in alot of new people and investment money will hit the market. Expect alot of projects based on NEO. (current fomo percentage compared to 2017 is around 10-15%) Means we are not in a fomo mode yet. Expect it to be around 20k, with new ath media coverage.
9. Alot of money available for marketing, Neo offices are appearing everywhere over the world.
10. Insider information that coinbase will add Neo, this year?

Screen: https://ibb.co/9rV5R3X
Wow this is a huge investment and I think you are doing well you invested in a great crypto and making a huge profit monthly .
I also have my eye on NEO it is a good project I found out about it on an airdrop in one of the trading site that I have been using.
690  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is a fake bit coin bull run don't fall for it on: June 29, 2019, 02:59:43 AM
Bitcoin is back at 10k but every single alt coin hasn't really gone up

The growth is un organic and fake , maybe by 2 or 3 whales or maybe even a corrupt exchange
I don't really think that it is fake just because the alt-coin hasn't really gone up.
Maybe those alt-coin holders are dumping their stock just to jump into Bitcoin and it is why we are having Bitcoin growth,
2 or 3 whales or a corrupt exchange? if they are behind this then they could lose more if the people dump it and it is a risky move.
691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cash out after having investment trippled in bitcoin! on: June 28, 2019, 04:09:14 AM
My brother had invested in bitcoin where market price has down to 3K usd. Seeing the current market and the needs arisea, my brother had cash out already and I am not surprise that he trippled his money investment. Good for.him but I think it must be hold still if I were on his side. The only problem is that I am not control of his money and seeing him profited in bitcoin makes me regret why I am.not investing and risking money during the bear market.

Who among you here does not hold btc anymore and afraid of investing to bitcoin? Did you regret of not investing on bitcoin too?
This is the problem of those people who doesn't have the guts to take the risk and invest while it is being dump.
And now you are regretting it and wants your brother to hold his Bitcoin because the price is raising ?
I think your brother are smarter than you and more braver than you he knows how to control his greed .
692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need partner to bet with on: June 27, 2019, 10:18:01 AM
i need partner who has an account in bet365 or planetofbets who is able to bet no less than 0.1 btc for some chosen matchs of foot-ball with higher odd 1.7 to 2.00  . for each bet he must give me 40% of the gain . i am expert in foot. only serious people plz
A newbie with a negative trust?
I don't think that  people would really take you seriously bro ,
And before you claim that you are an expert at least give us a solid proof to back it up how could we trust you if you couldn't provide a solid proof anyone could say that they are expert on something.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hospital That Treats Bitcoin Gambling Addicts? on: June 27, 2019, 09:44:50 AM
There is a hospital in Scottish that treats people that are bitcoin addicts or some who are addicted to bitcoin gambling.

Crypto trading or bitcoin gambling can be considered is a classification of behavioral addiction, with investors are always checking the coin graph and those who keep betting until they get bitcoins. If you knew yourself is being addicted to gambling, it's time to go to this hospital.
LOL it is true that there are so many people who are addicted to gambling but not everyone are doing it because they are addicted to it,
There are some who does it for a living and besides gambling addiction isn't something new to us there are already so many facilities that is made for those kind of patients.
Before crypto even started the number of person that is addicted to gambling is already high they just found a new way or an easier way to gamble.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Comments on deposit bonuses on: June 26, 2019, 11:05:39 AM

Many gambling sites have deposit bonuses.
However, if you receive the deposit bonus, there is a condition for withdrawal.
For example, 10 times the deposit amount, etc.
What is the reasonable condition you think?
I think it is fine whatever their term is as long as they wouldn't put up a time limit to play with their deposit bonus,
Because not everyone could play continuously and achieve their desired condition in order to withdraw the bonus.
I think it is great that some of them would give out a deposit bonus so that other player could enjoy more in their gambling site.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Now I know why eSports prize pools go over millions of dollars! on: June 26, 2019, 09:46:12 AM
It is kind of interesting that esports basically have a unique way to increase tournament prize pools, simply by using the sales from within the games itself.
This makes it really unique when you compare it to physical sports tournaments.

I totally wouldn't be surprised if esports becomes more popular than regular sports one day.
Well nowadays most of the younger generations would choose esports rather than playing the real sports.
They would rather try to be a great esports player to make money from it in so many ways .
For example gambling,Gambling in esports are not new and it is very popular for amateurs and pro ,
Some players are also making money by streaming that is why there are so many streamers nowadays .
They are using their own game play to make some highlights and post it on different streaming platform to attract followers.
696  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Breaks $10K Barrier – Where is all the Pump Coming From? on: June 25, 2019, 11:10:08 AM
there is no pump since it is bitcoin not some altcoin to get pumped.
this rise however is the same bull run that started months ago when we broke out of $3k range and started this whole rally. and main reason for it like always is the increase of adoption.

I want to invest in bitcoin, it is too late?

no you don't, you just want to advertise your website, I bet you won't even read any of the replies Cheesy
Haha guess you were right about it OP just put this up to advertise his/her website .
But back to OP's question I think that Bitcoin are now trying to reach back $15K .
It feels like we are going to see another ATH next year if this would continue or even way more earlier maybe before this year ends.
697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went to a bitcoin meetup Many people there had bitcoin, no-one actually use it on: June 25, 2019, 10:42:23 AM
We all have different opinion on this topic some of us would agree to it and would rather hold it than to use it.
But there are some people who also wants it to be accepted as a regular currency to be used like a normal payment method to be accepted by everyone.
And how could we do it if there are more people who only see's it as an investment and wouldn't use it as a currency?
And if they also want to gain profit why not use it for trading instead of waiting for something ?
They could earn more if they do some short trades as long as they would do it properly.
698  Economy / Speculation / Re: Popular Crypto Trader says “Bitcoin is likely to hit $60k+ this coming uptrend”. on: June 24, 2019, 09:03:41 AM
It is always has been like that if the price increase drastically there would be some well known people who would state something insane to continue the hype.
They would create some bold statement to create FOMO and FUD so the investor or newbies would certainly fall for it.
It has happened before and mostly it would continue to happen in the future if you remember back in 2017 John McAfee made some bald statement to about Bitcoin reaching 100k or he would eat his own dick.
Every time that the price soar high there would be a statement that it would reach something insane price.
699  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Initial Offerings Overpriced? on: June 24, 2019, 07:49:56 AM
Well back then ICO is a way to get the alt-coin in a much more cheaper price but right now ,
It seem's like ICO's are over price because every time that their crypto gets listed it would always be dump and be more cheaper than their actual ICO price.
We couldn't really say that it is over price because it was the initial price set by the creator the market just made their crypto price lower due to the low demand.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of bounty hunting is uncertainty on: June 23, 2019, 09:45:03 AM
Good projects don't need bounty hunters to do there works for them ,I can start naming good projects of 2019 that refuse to use bounty hunters to gain awareness ,especially IEO projects from binance excluding harmony only which i think its the best bounty project of the year so far, I think bounty hunting is fading away
It is true that the bounty hunting is fading away and it is because of the huge percent of scam and low value rewards,
And the non stop blaming of those ignorant who accuse the hunters for the price drop for real do you think that the hunters really doesn't care about their reward ?
They are also traders they also play their reward and wait for the pump just like the investors .
The problem about bounty hunting is the reward it is the one that kills it hunters also need some money and those worthless shitcoins aren't going to feed them.
