681  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dump - The Worst Thing on: November 29, 2019, 09:06:45 PM
Always there needs a reference based on which associated growth takes place. Here with the entire cryptocurrency bitcoin is the reference, and following will be the growth. This is a unwritten law that's been happening from the day the term cryptocurrency came to usage. In very occasions there were growth of altcoins against bitcoin.
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket expert on: November 29, 2019, 08:21:15 PM
Hello! I'm looking for a somebody who knows cricket mechanics well or used to play cricket, and can go to Carribean league games. If it is about you text me, I will pay a lot for kinda simple work.
Be little more clear about the requirement, I don't get you. If you're talking about Caribbean League, then it is over for the year. Without understanding the expectation texting is not fair. Just because we play cricket doesn't make us to be well known with everything relative to cricket. Better explanation will increase the chances of getting the right person to help you.
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi hides his identity? on: November 29, 2019, 07:36:41 PM
1. Satoshi is dead. We have tsunamis hitting Asia in 2010, many people were considered lost and their bodies were never recovered. There are plane crashes and car accidents.
He simply died before ever having a chance to reveal himself.
^ This was also in my mind. He probably died and didn't even reveal himself as Satoshi Nakamoto. Probably if he still alive maybe there will be a sign that comes from to him but it seems nothing, it's like totally died. But in this case, we respect what he wants, hiding or just he was dead, respect of what he wants. Because this is what he wanted to be and probably even his family don't want to involve such as a controversial about Bitcoin and probably their lives will put endangered.
No one can stand against the nature, and there are chances that he might have died out of something. It can be of Tsunami, accidents or some other health problems. He preferred to stay hidden which also needs to be considered, because if he gets revealed it becomes the network going under his control. Another thing even if he's alive staying hidden is always good, because surely he'll receive threats from governments.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Saving for a House! on: November 28, 2019, 10:23:52 PM
Know the risks before making an investment. The risk doesn't mean that you're making an investment on a market that is completely fluctuating with time. Another thing is the reason, you're risking the amount that is a must for your living. If you're new to the market know about the hacks and other scams that give an outlook of helping and steal your funds. With crypto market you can't get expected return within the time limit you have, it grows of its own. If you're lucky you'll get profited in six months, else you need to hold longer.

If you're funds doesn't want to get disturbed as well as if you aren't ready to take risk then stablecoins were the right choice for you.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run is coming! on: November 28, 2019, 09:35:08 PM
Rather than coming I believe bull run comes, and there won't be any time stamping for the same. From my knowledge a perfect bull run is what we experienced during the year 2017, and we didn't expected much by that time. Those were days of speculation about the year closing price, and to the surprise the growth happened in terms of thousands taking almost every leading cryptocurrencies mark their ath. This time too I never think of the bull run to occur within the predicted timeline, unexpectedly it happens.
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: November 28, 2019, 08:31:01 PM
Why do you gamble?

Because you are looking for entertainment?

looking for entertainment is my main reason and the second reason is profit..  gambling is very entertaining but it would be even more entertaining if we won gambling.  I've seen people who lose gambling become depressed and crazy, so some people still make "profit" is the main reason they gamble.
I don't think entertainment is the priority need of majority of the gamblers, and this is completely a wrong statement. There are lot many other sources that keep us entertained for the same spending we do with gambling. The profit which is reason we go for gambling as an entertainment than other sources. So, people for a talk term they gamble for fun and entertainment which is 99% a lie.
687  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone else remember this? on: November 27, 2019, 10:18:56 PM
What Op has detailed is the prevailing scenario of the corporate community. It is very hard to step into a corporate firm and make ourself a trusted person in a leading position. If that happens surely at some point we could've done something. Only people who are much passionate can get into this industry and in my view if the same effort is being made on politics one can easily be a politician. Importantly the politics happening in the corporate industry is very big compared to the real politics.
688  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do expert traders hide their loses? on: November 25, 2019, 09:52:15 PM
If the expert traders show what they've profited then it shows them as a master, if the loss is being shown to the outer world he will be the same as you and me who have failed lots and lots of times. Every expert arise out of learning from various experiences, the dedication is a must. Many traders go away from trading in between due to lack of funds, so only the person with luck and huge amounts to spare can turn to be an expert.
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does provably fair environment ensure the survival of gambling houses. on: November 25, 2019, 09:02:38 PM
let's say you are playing 1 dollar bets against the house with just flipping a coin. If you lose you will lose the dollar, but if you win you will get 0.95 cents. This way is how the house wins in the long run.
2 corrections:
You will get $0.95+1 dollar (you get back your bet amount).
0.95 cents is less than one cent. It could be 95 cents or 0.95 dollar in your example.

how we do have lots of gambling houses when provably fair is a neutral to them?
If you observe keenly, lots of gambling business are getting closed regularly. It makes us assume that provably fair is neutral to both the parties. For a failed business, there could be hundreds of reasons like poor management or hacking or anything but when not considerably profitable due to provably fair environment also one of probable reason.
You itself have stated this the provably fair environment will serve to be one among the probable reason for closure of gambling businesses and not a proven reason. Gambling houses will always have their own house edge which gets them with the profit. Going through the gambling discussion section it is possible to find more users who have failed in gambling losing big. Have you come across any thread stating that they are closing their website as there isn't profit. If something happened then it isn't not of profit, it would've happened for other reasons.
690  Economy / Economics / Re: Is IBM is on path to bring blockchain to the masses? on: November 25, 2019, 08:10:47 PM
As IBM is a technology depended company it giving importance to blockchain and other advancement isn't a big thing. Always they'll be keeping their business alive and active with the booming technology. Also I confirmed its presence in blockchain technology through a friend of mine working for IBM. On a regular conversation had to discuss about weekly classes cum training sessions conducted on IBM. It was completely about blockchain technology.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think of ETH Price will be by end of 2020? on: November 24, 2019, 09:01:35 AM
As we know ETH 2nd best ranking in all the coins and tokens , it's blockchain being used by very big business projects and getting adopted worldwide . It does have its problems , and that is why with frequent updates and upgrades to its technology , ETH is trying the be the best altcoin in this space.

The ETH 2.0 release date has been set in January 2020. So we know there will be very big movement of the price in eth before this date and after that as well . With heavy influence in whole of crypto space, Along with bitcoin ETH will be going to places in price rise.

Now we all know currently ETH has 106 million in circulating supply . about x6 of BTC. Usually eth follows btc price. So if btc will reach 50k by end of 2020, we should expect ETH to be around 8k by then (only if we calculate according to the supply numbers) . But we all know ETH is highly undervalued right now .

So I have two  questions

1. What do you all think ETH Price will be ?

2. Why do you think that price will be possible ? Give us a reason be it technical ?

Lets speculate only until Dec, 2020.

we are only able to predict and speculate about the price and development of a coin such as ethereum and altcoin ... and as you say that ethereum will release ETH 2.0 will help the growth of ETH prices later and I am sure ethereum prices will rise to $ 1K by the end of 2019 before ETH 2.0 was released .
Predicting the growth of ethereum had some coincidence earlier, but these days most of the price predictions takes place in the opposite manner. Once after ethereum marked its ath the fall began and further 2018 was predicted to mark a big growth. Things didn't happen as expected, and there is drastic fall that took price fall low to $50. With the ongoing price growth 2020 is expected to make bitcoin touch at least $800.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Altcoin, New Projects Relationship on: November 24, 2019, 07:16:36 AM
What Op has stated is the truth with the cryptocurrency market. When there is progress in the market of bitcoin, the same gets reflected over the market of the rest of the altcoins. This has got proven during the previous pumping years back that gave almost every cryptocurrency its ath value. The same is believed to happen, but there is nothing as time period to experience the same. Someday it happens until then we need the patience to hold.
693  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Crypto Marketet Is Dumping Drastically !! on: November 24, 2019, 06:15:56 AM
To me crypto world market nowadays is taken another dimension and most investors trying to caution themselves  because no one ready to lost his or her resources again and the interest is getting down everyday.
If you look at it in the long term, you will know that the short term price reduction will have a drastic change in the next years to come.
For those who are entering into this market to make quick money, what they will keep on experiencing is totally fall or complaining is price loss.

Nothing is easy and only if the luck is good you end up making Quick money. It is not a Get rich quick scheme is what is bitcoin about and those joining for this only should avoid it . Also if you would like to invest for long term then it is good idea to do it .
When it is a good investment for long term it surely benefits the investor. As in the quote there is misunderstanding that it is a get rich scheme in short term. Only the lucky ones and the early adopters get to experience such a growth in life. Over the past few days the market has been getting dumped which is the common thing with entire cryptocurrency market. Once again from yesterday there is small level of recovery. Different things will be related with the market movement, but everything isn't right.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of tokens on: November 24, 2019, 02:21:02 AM
Reality of Tokens

  • Grows following the growth of the platform over which it is developed
  • In most of the projects the tokens were developed on smart contract
  • If the project has the product it automatically continues in circulation
  • Projects go as a scam when they don't have anything to back
  • Tokens from established firms mostly won't get away from use
695  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price drop but institutional investors on Bakkt are buying like crazy! on: November 24, 2019, 01:26:40 AM
At least now the the investment is increasing more and more which was expected to happen by the launch of Bakkt. Bitcoin price drop is quite big over the past few days. Today there is strong growth in the market, maybe the buying potential have increased based on the drop. These days panic about the market fluctuations were very low which too seems to be a reason for institutional investors showing interest over Bakkt.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Abu Dhabi T10 League 2019 on: November 23, 2019, 11:46:19 PM
^^^ Yeah... Qalandars had a bad day today... but you can't blame them. For the Maratha Arabians, both Chris Lynn and Adam Lyth have been in top form throughout the tournament and today also they scored 95 runs in between them. But little known Jordan Clark surprised everyone with a 4-wicket haul for the Qalandars. In reply the Qalandars failed to build partnerships and lost the match by 7 runs.

BTW, Deccan Gladiators looks all set to win the eliminator match.

Qalandars lost both the knockout matches today and therefore they will play for the 3rd place tomorrow with Bangla Tigers. I never expected that they will lose both matches as they finished up 2nd in the group stages.
Also the finals of this league will be played tomorrow and that will make our Sunday full of enjoyment.  Smiley
That's never expected losing both the knockout matches. If they've lost the match scoring less than 100 it can be said as the players aren't good. They came close reaching 112, but some mistakes in between doesn't let them reach the target. Anyhow tomorrow isn't gonna be a complete fun. If it's an ODI then the entire day goes off. Now it is just one percent of the time consumed.
697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Continues Downfall in Bitcoin Circulation threating traders on: November 23, 2019, 10:19:32 PM
Whenever some news is coming through an article or some source we should not understand it as the words from the specialists or experts. With cryptocurrency things will be cent percent on predictions, and the coincidence is the one that makes the article true or not. Everything is a form of manipulation, but it can be experts point of view. This way nothing threatens if we're good to go with our plan and believe in the market.
698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin can not become a global currency on: November 22, 2019, 06:43:02 PM
my opinion is that Bitcoin has no effect on a country and is unstable too so bitcoin cannot become a global currency. therefore the government must pass laws that can regulate bitcoin from all possibilities or crimes, such as money laundering, theft of bitcoin and others.

If you people believes the decentralization and volatility in nature of bitcoin was the reason bitcoin can't be a global currency you are wrong. I believe that the Libra coin not been supported by the governments and the institutions despite it was said to be centralized and have fast transaction confirmation should be enough understand that I'm right with what I just said.
Volatility and decentralization are the two important factors that make bitcoin more valuable. This isn't understood by majority of the users, if this goes centralized it'll be same as the currencies that undergo inflation. Here we have got the limitations that gives value with regards to the need. So it has the complete setup to be a global currency, but in real life implementation it takes time. Maybe after few generations this will happen.
699  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is changing the personal asset management market on: November 22, 2019, 03:55:09 AM
Cryptocurrency is just a new thing to majority of the people. This gets importance when more and more people starts to benefit out of the same. Important thing is the awareness, this is slowly getting wider acceptance. This makes people believe over it, and switch to cryptocurrencies. When we talk about the personal asset management it has been made simple with the development of more and more applications makes the process easier.

Whether it is cryptocurrency or some other potential investment, if there is proper management automatically the growth will be experienced.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Create a Cryptocurrency in 2019? on: November 21, 2019, 09:03:39 AM
This seems to be something unique compared to many projects that make the same thing under different names and little variations. End of the day every project is much focused on profit making with real time usage accessibility. The market has got lot many players to compete against each others. If this projects have reached the market during the year 2017 it could've got a huge return for the investors.
