I've got some money in stratis, when it reaches 10$/coin next week I'm cashing out and investing it in sonm, hopefully prices will still be below 0.2$, next year at this time we'll be wondering whether or not to buy sonm at 1.5$, the year after we're asking ourselves if 5$ a coin is still a good investment If SONM reaches $5 it'll be guaranteed to be a good investment. At least if that's a sustained sideways moving $5 and not a pump and dump. That would mean that SONM has established itself and is on the way to becoming a major tech company, which would imply a market cap in the tens if not hundreds of billions and token prices of several hundreds USD or even above $1000. In earlier days that would be true, yes, but the blockchain was created to provide a cheaper, safer and more transparant platform to do business and transactions on. I doubt the cost of running the sonm network would be so high that the tokens would go beyond 10$. Also, using a supercomputer as a network provider would be massive overkill for a lot of companies that simply don't need that kind of power. Either way I have very high hopes for this project, 10$ a coin would still only be 4.4 billion in total cap, which is pathetic compared to other IT businesses The cost is irrelevant due to the divisibility. If the market capitalization goes up the price of mining as measured in SONM tokens will simply go down. And the market cap will go up with an increase in adoption. Furthermore, there's the utility aspect of the SONM token. Since token holders will actually get paid a share of the revenue of the platform, the value of the token will go up to whatever the company is currently worth. And if SONM becomes a major tech player it will be worth tens to hundreds of billions of USD, which will result in the aforementioned $100 to $1800 USD token price. Granted that's a ten-year long journey, but it's bound to happen if SONM establishes its full vision. You're mistaking tokens for shares, but in essence you're right. If more companies are buying the tokens to use the network, the price per token will need to go up drastically since they can't create new tokens. The ultimate value estimate can be made as soon as the first company joins the network. If they need to pay a lot to maintain part of the network, the tokens will automatically get pumped into the high tens quickly. Bitcoin price is getting out of hand ... The more it increases the riskier it becomes to drop down significantly and pull Straits with it. I have bought at 3.50$ and I think that it won't be a bad idea to take profits after the release of Breeze Wallet + Tumblebit on 11 Dec. I might come back when things stabilize a bit ..
Note: I am not a HODLer. And with all the releases and announcements I was expecting much more from this coin..
STRATIS was never meant to be anything more than you see right in front of you. This is not a game changer. It's a decent project with a HORRIBLE team and that will always put it behind other coins. ALWAYS. This coin is never going to touch the top 3. This isn't coming from me, it's just the way it is. You can make some good money from STRATIS by SWINGING, but that's it. Holding this coin at anything over $1-$3 is setting yourself up for failure. $10 was it's absolute peak and right now at around $8 it's VERY overbought, so expect a huge dump in the upcoming weeks. If the team and moderators were more professional and Chris took this thing seriously you could have been at $15 or so by now but it still wouldn't explode. I will always remain relatively cheap because of the nature of it's technology. There is a lot of people in the team, including Chris, who have second thoughts about this entire thing now that they realize how hard it is to get big names on board. It's a shit investment, and you'd be smart to sell at the top (now), and go invest elsewhere.

He probably bought during the first peak at around 10$, and now he's either frustrated because he sold at 4 to 'cover his losses', OR his trying to push prices down to buy in at a lower level to even out his first initial purchase. I learned about Change through a signature, and I invested and I did a bounty campaign as a result. I can't help but wonder how many people might have invested because of my signature. Not only that, but an agreement is an agreement, simple as that. Sonm, clearly it's being kept low by manipulating the price through bots because it's one of the few major coins that didn't get pumped in the last few days/weeks. Maybe x100 is a bit much but x50 is definitely plausible, I predict 1$ before the end of Q2 of 2018, 3$ by the start of 2019 and between 5 and 10$ before the end of 2019. It's a massive sleeping giant waiting for a spark to wake up. That spark will come in the form of their testnet beginning of next year which will pump prices up to 0.4$ in my opinion. When their mainnet goes live we'll see prices gradually rise as more companies are going to want to use the network, as well as investors looking to ride the wave.
Remember, 10$ a coin only means a 4.4 billion marketcap. That's quite conservative for a company that's creating the first operating global supercomputing network, don't you think?

Still the same talks here for a month, I'm sure bounty topic is over for the Change team, just need to move on, I did at least.
I know for a fact I was responsible for a large amount of posts, most of them were constructive. I don't give a fuck whether or not people or the team think I don't deserve the amount of coins I claimed, the rules were stated clear and simple at the beginning of the campaign. If they promise to distribute 2% of the entire supply, that's 2% of about 80 million, which is close to 1.6 million. 20% of that amount went to signature bounties, which is 316K. What they don't realise is that every single transaction is visible on the blockchain, so if clear evidence is posted here that less than that amount were distributed, well than no I will not move on. I've asked them multiple times to explain themselves or to find a flaw in my reasoning, but they haven't gotten back to me at all. I've received a little under 20% of what I deserve based entirely on their promises. I'll keep supporting their cause, because I think it's a great concept, but I don't think I'm being unreasonable here if I'm mad about the way they're handling this. I found out about change bank through a signature, and I decided to participate in the crowdsale and in the bounty campaign. I can't help but think my signature was the cause for a lot of people to invest as well. |

This has been addressed earlier many times.
When it comes to closing the spreadsheets for public viewing - the sheets were out and public till the end of the sale and now the aim here is to avoid people claiming tokens on other participants' behalf and using other clever ways of scamming honest bounty programme participants. We have already removed a lot bot accounts/links and have identified a number of bounty claim scam attempts.
The other massive issue with open spreadsheets is that these open bounty lists are large data sets which are stolen and misused by an ever-growing industry of scammers/phishers/spam advertisers. Upon discussing with other companies who’ve carried out token sales and have taken hard lessons, we’ve decided to learn from them and not publicize the sheets.
If you were so sensitive to this, you would have made an application or purchased a service for bounty. everyone has the right to see them.I think we should vote on having 2 trusted individuals looking at the spreadsheet to confirm paid amounts, that way you dont gotta worry about it getting comprimised or w.e the f*ckin excuse is you are trying to use. I vote for Mibambino to look at the spreadsheet. thanks man, if they'd let me I'd take a look for sure. |

Nothing has even materialised and everyone is just speculating and guessing.
The community should put pressure on the team to deliver the product and continue following their roadmap.
I'm not sure a wallet release will make the price go up too much but let's just see what happens next month.
For me even $1 is too much and this will take at least six months so that's when I'll be selling and moving to Bitcoin permanently.
Until then, this coin will just be regarded as another shit coin with a good idea but nothing tangible to back it up with. Sorry but just accept the fact.
